History:  Randolf was born and raised in the Lakota tribe. His father was a brave warrior horse that died in a raid while Randolf's mother was still pregnant, so, unfortunaly, Randolf never knew his sire. Sortly after Randolf was weaned, his dam passed away due to a tragic accident.  Randolf then found security with his few friends in the tribe.  When he was young, Randolf made a fine warrior horse. He eventually fell in love with a mare named Kan'na and two years later they had a filly named Lune. However, tragedy struck again for poor Randolf beacause little Lune, who was about 3 months now, and his mate, Kan'na, where both killed in a surprised raid from the calvary. Afterwords, Randolf sank into a deep depression and isolated himself from others. He stood this way for nearly 3 years until one day, the tribe brought in a filly they had captured while scouting. The filly was about 2 years old and wickly wild. The tribe kept her contained by making one of the younger, stronger horses, in charge of her by tying a rope around eachother(like in the movie). After not being able to escape for a few months, her temper clamed down and she became of the tribes horses.  One day, while she was running around, she bumped into Randolf. This sent her away scurring, but her curosity got the better of them and soon they became close. He learned the filly was named Splash and know thinks of her as an other foal of his. When Splash came into his life, his cold heart melted away and was left in better spirits.
