Moly ran to a near by cave to stay safe. the calvery took her mother away and Moly watched them disappear in to the dust. moly was left alone it was geting dark so she decided to stay in the cave for the night. the next morning she walked out of the cave and thought she would see her mother but she didn't, Then she rememberd that the calvery caught her. Moly did not know what to do with out her mother so she just walked farther from the cave. she walked all day till it got dark, then she realized that she walked far from the cave the only shelter she had. When Moly was 3 years old she met a stallion named Traveller, soon she had a crush on him. After a year with Traveller Moly found that Traveller showed no interest in her so she left him in search for a place she could call home and stay for the rest of her life.
One day Moly was walking when she saw a Lakota village, she walked a little closer to the village then stopped when she saw an Indian. Moly still did not trust humans from when they caught her mother. Moly stayed were she was hiding in the trees for a long time in till She finely felt the courage to walk closer to the village when she saw another horse grazing in a grassy field not far from were Moly was standing. Moly walked carefully toward the Lakota village and then stopped again, she still was not sure if it was safe. Then a Indian came slowly walking up to Moly, she did not know what to do so she just stood there. The indian stopped a inch away from Moly, then the Indian slipped a rope around Moly's head. She tried to pull away but she found that the Indian was nice and gentle so she stopped pulling and followed the Indian. Moly found that the Indians were nice and soon became fond of the village.
