Bio: Lazer was Sakura's last foal before she was killed (see The Albino's bio for details). He was only five months old when it happened. Larkwood was harsh on Lazer and told him it was his fault his mother was killed, he told Albino it was Lazer's fault too. Lazer was seen as an outcast from that day forward. When Albino killed Larkwood things began to get better. Albino actually showed some affection for his yearly half-brother, but he was far fromsane after Sakura was murdered.

Then everything went down hill. Bree, Albino's beautiful little mare was foaling, but things went bad fast. She kept bleeding and the foal was upside down. Both mare and foal died right there in the shallow meadow. That was it, Albino slipped up from a once semi-sane life and went crazy. He wanted mares, and tons of them, and he did not care about how they were treated.

Finally Lazer couldn't take it. In his head he heard his father's words, "compassion is weakness" but he couldn't bare to see the mares treated so poorly and he refused his brother's will. He would not follow Albino's ways even if it killed him, and it almost did. Albino crazy and he decided Lazer, now two, was a threat to him so he attacked the colt and left him for dead. Taking away all his herd and protection with him. Lazer was left to die there in the rain.

As he lie there in pain he herd a soft whinning. She was the most beautiful filly he had ever seen, a thousand times finer than any one of Albino's mares. Then she sundenly disapeared, her dapple coat blending in with the stars. When he got back some strength he followed her tracks and found her.

She was three years old and She introduced her self as Jay Bird, but to him she would always be known as Birdie. Together they ran along what was once the Albino's old land. Lazer found it very hard to start a herd though. He was often confused with the Albino so no mares would trust him. No one knew he was the Albino's kind little brother because Albino told any one who asked, Lazer was killed by men and that he found him to late......
