Personality: hardy, sceptical, cautious, humorous around his friends, dare-devil, reserved, hot-headed

Likes: running, being head-strong, showing off to no-one, being stubborn, his job

Dislikes: soft riders, having to walk slow, being dubbed handicapped, another horse messing with his friends

History:

Was bred for starting a hardier strain of Quarter Horses, but was thrown to the side when he was born bling in his right eye. They sold him before he was ready to leave his mother. His price tag was rather dirt cheap, and this disturbed him greatly. So his life-long goal was to prove them all wrong. And that he did! He was traded and sold over and over again. 

He finally arrived at the Calvary when he was 2 years old, and by the time he was 3 years old he was considered the best mount on the base, that is along-side his partner Duke. The two were a wonderful team and Duke treated Red like any other horse. This is what started their brotherly bond. They prove themself over and over that they were the best mounts around. 

Even though they are young and the best, they are also the most strong-willed horses around! And they wont tolerate a soft rider, but not an abusive one either. So as of right now, they enjoy and do their job to the best of their abilities.
