Description. Torka was born a year after Spirit. Spirit and Torka does not have the same father. When Torka was able to run around Spirit taught him how to play and do other things. One night Spirit went for a run and when he came back there was bad people after him trying to ketch him. When they did Torka tryied to help but luckly he did not get caught. After they took Spirit away Torka went following him to see where they were taking him. When they got to the colonal, Torka saw that they were cutting Spirit's mane. Torka had ran back to home but before he got home a group of indians caught him. He thought that they were going to cut his mane until he saw the most amazing mare. So he quit trying to get away. When they brought him to there home land they took the rope off of him and put him in a coral with the mare. She asked him what his name was and he said Torka and then she told him hers. She said it was Zuleika. The indian that owned her was vary nice as well. One day Zuleika and Torka went for a run the indian that owned her was telling Torka to leave the land because some of the people from the place that Spirit was at were riding through, Torka how ever did not leave because he wanted to be with Zuleika. After a few days went by Somehow there was an indian comming to the place and Torka could not bare to look until he saw it with his own eyes. It was Spirit. When Spirit saw Torka being well fed and taken care of he decided to let Torka stay but he must find a way back home. After another few days went by, Little Creek the one that brought Spirit told him that he can go home. Torka bagged and bagged to let him come home with him. Spirit told him that he was to stay besides he told Torka that he had a friend which turned out to be Torka's mate. After Spirit told Rain that he could leave and to have her come with but She did not want to go with. When Rain herd shots she quickly ran to find Little Creek and when she found him they ran to the river. Spirit ran into the Colonal but he shot Rain. Torka saw everything going on, so Torka ran to the Colonal but it was too late The Colonal had left to find some other horses. When it turned to night Torka was safe with Zuleika and her owner. The next morning everything was a mess. Torka told Zuleika that he must find Spirit and go home but then Zuleika told him she was going with. So from then on Torka and Zuleika went to look for Spirit and Rain. While they were walking along the side of the river they seen Rain and Spirit but Rain was hurt and then suddenly a few men put ropes around Spirit's neck and pulled him away from Rain. After they left they saw that Little Creek came out from a rock and ran over to Rain. Torka and Zuleika ran over by them. Little Creek told Zuleika to take Rain back home. Along with Torka. So Torka and Zuleika took Rain back home. Even a few more days went by and Rain was all healed up by Little Creek. So then Little Creek went to go and rescue Spirit. When he did, they had a long journey back to the village. When they got back Spirit was sad because he figured Rain was going to be around then suddenly out of the fog or smoke Little Creek whistled and then Rain appeard. They were both happy to see each other. Same with Torka seeing Spirit alive. Little Creek and Zuleika's owner's had to do the hardest thing to do. They both told Thier horses to go back home where Spirit and Torka lived. So they did. When they got home Everyone was not worried anymore. When Spirit and Torka saw their mother they were vary happy. The next day at being back home Zuleika had given birth to the newest memeber of the herd of horses. Torka was proud to be a father and Spirit was proud to be a leader. Everyone was happy and safe. The colt of Zuleika and Torka was a baby girl. They had named her Alona. Meaning light.
