Stbales: Oak Willow Stables

History: Atlantis was born in the slaughter house. Her mother had been with a different circus for many, many years. She was 9 years old at the time, and she was now too old to perform, so they had send her away to be killed and make room for the younger performing horses. The circus knew she was pregnant, but she foaled early. Her father was a stud horse she'd never met. From a different circus, she imagined. Maybe not even a circus. She didn't know.

But a few weeks before her mother was due to be slaughtered, she was born. The slaughter house didn't kill her, though- She might be worth something. After all, she was a pure-breed, and the daughter of a famous performer. So they kept her until she was 3 months, and sold her on immediently. A circus bought her, because hopefully she'd inherited her mother's skill.

Turns out, she had. A little clumsy at first, but over a year, she was a complete proffesional. Almost as famous as her mother, everybody loved her. Other horses started speaking to her, trying to make friends. More and more just wanted to be around her. Just because she was famous. She had a very rare few friends, but mostly she just fakes a smile, as almost everyone just wanted her for her popularity.

But at the age of 3, the Circus shut down, and she was sold to a small stables somewhere in America. She was heart broken, and it took her a few months to settle down, but the horses were friendly and helped her cope. Eventually, she fit right in.
