Personality: Smart, Level-headed, Caring, Gentle with lower ranks, a Good Listener, somewhat conscience of her mixed blood-line, dislikes snobs, loves to brush off the cavalry colts.

Bio: Nica's mother was a prized champion Thoroughbred. She was out in pasture and one night a charming rogue came during the night. After many nights ofher spending with the rogue her owners caught her out there with the stallion and she was immidiately rushed off toher stable and her romeo was, uncaringly, shot. This broke the mare's heart and she cherished what she knew was inside herself. Her owners were already talkin about sellin her foal. She was distressed, but she managed to keep calm and keep herself healthy for her unborn foal. After many months she the night finally came. It was a night like the night of her romeo's departing. In the calmness of the night she gave birth to a lovely red dun filly. Since her romeo was one of the top rogues she named her Dominica, after the word of dominance. She had her dad's startling teal eyes. But her mother's beauty. As soon as morning came her owners came out exspecting a piece of junk of a foal, but to their susprise her looks were stunning. Even though she was beautiful they still thought of her as a scrub foal. Her mother loved her none the less.

As she grew she was allowed to go out in the pasture with her mother and  the other mares and foals. She didnt really like the other foals much, because they were snobs and picked on her for bein mixed. But she held her head high and stood proud. She finally became close to the age of weaning and her mother decided she was old enough to learn more about her father. This only made her more proud of her mixed blood-line. She longed to know what her father looked like. Soon she was weaned and after a few months at the stables she was sold to the cavalry. She got to see her mother one last time. She told her dear Nica to be strong and to hold her foal memories close and she would hold her memories of her close to her. She told her herself and her father would awlways be in her heart and be with her wherever she went. 

After Nica's tiring journey to the fort in the middle of nowhere she immidiately became a favorite of all the men. Her proud nature and willing attitude helped her work to the top. All the young horses had respect for her and despite her young age many older horses admired her level-headedness. At 2yrs of age she was training with an elite group of young horses. She takes her training seriously and disapproves of fooling around on the job. She trains with Fiesta, Danzig, and Sarge. She has a very minor liking to Sarge.
