Bio: Moonlight Runner was born shortly before her mother, Rain birthed another calf. But Rain noticed something was wrong with the other calf. He wasn't moving. Rain was convinced that the calf was gone. But Moonlight Runner, wanting her younger brother to stay alive moved him to a spring and splashed some water in his face. She then looked up at her mother, who seemed to understand that he needed mother's milk. Rain walked over to her two children and stood over her son. He sniffed one of his mother's teats and started to suckle, reluctantly at first. Then, he got used to it. A week later, Moonlight Runner and her brother, whom Rain's owner, Little Creek named Midnight Alabama were playing when suddenly, a lone cougar, who hadn't eaten in 4 months attacked the two helpless little foals. Midnight Alabama and Moonlight Runner ran for their lives, the cougar chasing them and seeming to gain on them. Suddenly, Midnight Alabama, who knew he needed to protect his sister turned back towards the cougar and kicked it in the face as it was about to land, sending it flying about one or two miles away. Then, they ran back towards where the herd was located... or so they thought. Unknowingly, they had ventured too far into the forest and were hopelessly lost. Moonlight Runner started panicking, wondering where the herd was. She and her brother slept in the forest that night, not knowing that they were in a spot where humans were camping. One of the humans, a man in his 30's spotted the two foals and thought that they were just regular horses and decided that they would be useful for racing. So he put the poor helpless little foals in a sack and tied it so they wouldn't escape. Moonlight Runner started to panic even more, kicking her back legs against the bag. Suddenly, the man fell to the ground, bringing the bag down with him. The bag got caught on a sharp rock and tore open. The siblings escaped, running away from the humans. Moonlight Runner saw a river that she knew all too well. She turned her head to look back at her younger brother, running behind her in quick strides. She and her brother leapt into the water, attempting to swim towards the other side where they knew their family was, but the current was very strong and Midnight Alabama and Moonlight Runner were carried away by the current, soon plunging down a waterfall and swimming back to shore. Just two days after the incident, Midnight Alabama got a very severe case of pneumonia. With his mother and sister's care, after 6 months, he got better. 1 year later, Moonlight Runner grew to be a very smart, caring, playful mare. She met Rude Boy ( (c) to saba279 ) as she was eating some grass. She took a liking to him and he seemed to take a liking to her. For the next few days, she and Rude Boy spent every moment together. Then, the day came when they officially became mates. They are now expecting their first child... or their first children.
