Personality: Stubborn, smart, sassy, won't back down, she can be sweet, hates being alone.

Relationship with Spirit~ She saw him when we was dragged into the Army Base, and was extremely jealous when The Colonel started paying more attention to him than her.

Bio~
Raya was born and raised in Oklahoma on a horse ranch.
Raya had no name then, and was just called filly, because the Rancher had no plans of keeping her, and planned to sell her at the local horse auction arena.
When she turned one year she along with nine other yearlings were brought to the local horse auction.

Raya was the first too go because of her eye coloration she went for a seventy dollars! 
(That was considered a lot of money back then) 
Raya had been sold to a horse trainer that lived in North Carolina he'd come here only too look not expecting to buy anything but ended up purchasing a horse anyway.

Raya was tied up to a wagon, and had to walk all the way to North Carolina.

When her new master tried to saddle her, she bucked quickly showing she wasn't tamed. The horse trainer fixed that soon enough he'd beat Raya till she'd do as he said.
The horse trainer was cruel, and demanding but Raya did as she was told in fear of his iron whip. 
 
She lived there until she was almost three years old, then he sold her to a man in New York, once again she was tied to the back of a wagon and had to walk all the way there.

By the time Raya was at her new home she was tired to tired to care where she was or who her new owners were.
She was led into a stall by a man, and she literally dropped to the floor when she walked in quickly falling asleep. 
The next morning a little girl was peering at her over the stall door. 

This was Raya's new owner Penny Zimmer.
Penny was so sweet and patient with Raya when the horse got spooked or nervous she'd gently pet Raya and talk softly too her.

Raya came to trust, and love the girl as if Penny was her own filly, or a member of her herd.
They spent every waking moment together.

Then one day Penny became fatally Ill and the family had to move and sadly had no room for Raya and once again Raya was sold but this time to a drunk man.

Raya had moved back to Central America with this man, the two had only been together for a few days when he decided to take her for a ride while he was drunk.

The two were racing through the desert when he fell off and broke his neck dying instantly.

Raya was later found by The Colonel, and he took her back to Calvary making her his mount.
