Personality: cheerful, determined when on a quest, respectful to the herd and Esperanza ,  loving, trusting.

Likes: Wild open fields, friends, Esperanza , spirit, smell of the summer rain, water,  summer, apples, grass, being her self.

Dislikes: Has a fear of humans, hornets, being trap, ropes, not knowing what is going on, being left out on things purpose.

History: Amber was born in the middle of fall. When she was born her mother did not accepted her and left her out in the fields. Esperanza knew the mare was going to have a foal but didn't see the foal with her so she went to ask if every thing was okay. The mare told her the foal was still out in the fields and seemed to be died. Esperanza ran out there and saw a tiny little foal laying quitely in the grass. At first Esperanza wasn't sure if she was alive so she nudged her softly. The young foal's eyes open slowly and nickered when seeing Esperanza. Esperanza took in Amber because when coming back to the herd the mare didn't want her.

Amber thought Esperanza was her mother and spirit was her brother and has a good life. When amber got older Esperanza knew she should have told her that she isn't her real mom but is afraid that amber will get mad at them for not telling. One day, on a hot summer, one of the horses was attacked by a cougar. Soon to find out it was Amber's real mom. The old mare told amber to come here and told her she was her real mom with a tear in her eye. Amber turned around looking at Esperanza and spirit with a confused look on her face asking if that was true. Esperanza nodding not know what was going to happen. Amber looked back at the mare and the mare said softly "I'm sorry.." Amber nudged her saying it is okay. Sadly the mare died but amber knew all the good things that Esperanza did for her and stayed with them.

Relations to spirit: Esperanza adopted her and lives in the herd.
