Personality: Dawn is gentle, kind and shy. Once she gets to know someone she will relax and be really friendly/sociable. When Dawn is angry she hids it with a mask of calm

History:

Dawn was born a free horse in the high country of Australia. When Dawn turned one she did the stupidest thing a brumby can do. She went down to a humans hut and walked around it, not paying attention to anything. She spooked when a rope tightened around her neck. Her brother Charriot, who heard her whinnies, ran down to help her but another human cam up behind him and caught Charriot also.

The two brumbys were sold to an American settler who was in Australia on business, so Dawn and Charriot were shipped to America. When men tried to break them in, the two brumbys bucked them off and refused to be tamed. One day when Dawn had bucked off yet another man, Dawn bolted toward the main gate. She scaled the fence then jumped into a group of horse men who were leaving the fort. But Dawn's brother didn't escape.

Dawn just ran in a random direction until she came across a bay with his herd. Dawn was accepted into the herd and became Storm's favourite mare. Dawn soon foaled to Storm. One night she, Storm and Whirlwind went back to the fort and Dawn whinnied to her brother syaing, "I will come back for you!" just so he knew she didn't abandon him.

After a few months Shrike-Thrush stole both Storm and Whirlwind's herd and ever since Dawn has been avoiding Shrike-Thrush so he couldnt mate with her as well and she has been hoping that Storm and Whirlwind will somehow save their herds. 

Relation To Spirit: is in Storm's herd and Storm is best friends with Spirit's nephew
