Basic Plot

Spuro was born on the side of the mountain range while his herd was travelling to their new home. Over his childhood he was spoilt by his grandmother and great grandmother, Rain and Esperanza, to the extent that he became irresponsable, mischeivous and immature. His father (Durango) and grandfather (Spirit) tried to drill some sense into him and over time got tired since he never listened and began fighting back their efforts. This was because Spuro couldn't stand being nagged when all he wanted was to have a fun life. The one horse he would always listen to was his mother, but after giving birth to his sister, Destiny, she became very weak and didn't have strength or perseverance to get him to behave in the herd. Eventually, when he was just over four years old, he accidentally caused the death of a filly, so Spirit decided to drive him out of the Cimarron herd, which Durango argued against, resulting in a fight between the two stallions while Spuro ran away. He planned to become a rogue stallion and live as he pleased, but unfortunately he strayed into the gully territory of the Band and was reported by James and Nickle, who were sentries at the time. After he was tested by fighting a cougar set upon him by the stallions, Spuro was taken to an old horse called Shorty, who placed him under the attack force. After winning a fight in the arena, he was qualified to skip his first year and become a tutored private with James as his teacher.
He quickly made four friends and an enemy in his class of six horses, and learned about the history of the Band; why it was formed, what they were planning and what they were doing there. Over the course of his first year, Denver attempted to escape, Leon was moved to a scouting division and Jupiter was killed, leaving just Spuro, Harris, Ghost and Bramble, who took Leon's place when he was moved. During the trials, Bramble was killed and Harris decided to risk fighting the cougar again instead of being killed by Ghost, leaving Spuro to battle his enemy. Spuro won by finding Ghost's weak spot - his mind - and so the other stallion surrendered and Spuro was promoted to an officer.
Three years later Spuro was moved up to Captain of Offencive Units and began working alongside James and Nickle. He earned his own tutoring class and.... that's all I can tell you for now ;)

Personality: Spuro is the future leader of the Cimmaron herd, but his grandfather is still alive and his father is next in line. He is irrespnsable and immature, and believes that he doesn't have to take care of anyone but himself. He likes to ditch everything that is expected of him onto his sister, Destiny, who is loyal and obidient, but doesn't want to be leader. When he is forced to join the Band, he grows up quickly ro prevent himself falling behind in it's military ways. One of the first things James told him when he arrived was that the Band believed that freedom and control were the same thing, and if you have control you also have responsability. Spuro realiseshis mistake and chagnes his ways before he can follow a destructive path, but ti is too late since he has already been kicke dout of his herd. However, his discovery aids him when he defeats his enemy, Ghost, in th trials.  When

I will probably go back to write more after I have finished Destiny's story/stories, probably along the lines of 'Spuro Part 1.5: *CLASSIFIED*'. It won't actually be called Classified, the title simply contains spoilers at this stage. ;D
