History:
Was going to sold for a high price when thought to be pure-blooded thoroughbred, but when found to be mixed with a mere quarter horse, was then sold to a much lower market to be bought by a small family as a pet, and pleasure ride for their daughter. When the family had to move due to lost of money, they were forced to sell Chase for what they could, and he ended up being used for labor, helping to pull the new railroad train across the state.
When a wild horse (Spirit) set them all free, Chase had no idea what to do but follow a horse he had befriended there, Moteado, into the wild. After a short time Chase met and joined Killdeer's herd, despite Moteado's refusal. But after a while, missing the Appaloosa broke from the herd to rejoin him and Namin, as well as Naji, Moteado's cougar friends.
At first, Chase was a bit nervous around the cats, but warmed up to him soon enough and are now friendly. They still spook him at times, usually at night when theyre more active.
