Info: As a 6 month old she escaped from a California Goldmine ranch. She raced northeast and ended up in the Cimarron. She met Strider and told him what had happened. Some miners were digging in a mine and there was a cave in. All the horses escaped, a few died because of black lung from pulling carts out of the mine for so long. Strider allowed her to stay in the herd to recouperate but the requested she go try to find a Lakota. Unlike the golden haired two leggeds(like the colonel and his men) The Lakotas understood horses and they were rarely tied up unless they were sick or Pregnant. Aurora took note and two days later said her goodbyes to the Cimarron herd. Strider told her to visit and she was always welcome to stay with them.

After three or four days of traveling the terrain she was Captured by a Lakota teen. At first she was startled by the rope flying onto her neck but after she saw the boy trying his best to calm her she gave in. Days later she found out the boys name was Blue Moon, and that he was the cheifs son.
