History: Feather used to live with the Lakota tribe but she was captured by the army.She was distrustful around the other horses there,even though back with the tribe she had been completely headstrong and didn't have a problem with other horses or humans there.But with the army,all the confidence had been knocked out of her and she was certain there was no hope of escape.She had tried a couple of times but she soon gave up.But when Spirit was captured she knew he was different.He had no intention of giving up like Feather.Soon he set all the horses free and Feather was overjoyed.She ran with some other horses who were heading to the Lakotas and she didn't stop.When Feather made it back to the tribe she was gleefully reunited with her owner.

Eventually though,her owner grew sick and died.Feather found that she had no more use to the Lakota's so ran free away.She was on her own for a long while,meeting with others here and there,but eventually she came across Spirit's herd.She recognized Rain as she had known her since they were foals.She had been sad when Rain left,but was happy to see her again.Spirit let Feather stay with them.

Spirit Relation:Knows Rain and was set free from the army by Spirit
