Even as a adult

My memories of our friendship

never faded

I thought I lost it once

Thought I could never get it back.

Anger from both of us

over a misunderstanding.

That burning hate could have killed us both.

But when the bear came  at you,

None of that mattered.

All I thought was

"I need to save my friend. No matter what."

You saved me  too

placing yourself  under a gun for me.

Heh......I guess when it comes down to it

Friendship can overcome anything.

Who would have thought a fox and a hound would be the best of friends?

After what everyone told us we shouldn't,

we change that view and didn't even know it.

After I saw you smile with me I knew you realized it too.

We have changed,

But or friendship will never fade.
