The Lion King III: 2 Cubs, 1 King

The new circle of life began. Kovu and Kiara had their first two cubs. “Wow!” Simba said. “Cute cubs!” He looked at the dark brown one. “Kovu! We don’t need more Outlanders!” “Dad!” Kiara said. “He’s fine.” “Well, he looks like an outlander.” Simba said. “And I’m angry at Kovu because he was an outlander himself.” “I’m not anymore!” Kovu said. “And I won’t ever be again!” “Stop!” Kiara shouted. “I’ll tell you their names.” “No!” Simba said. “Take them both to the Outlands!” Kiara did as her father said. She was very sad. The cubs grew. Ade, Kovu’s son was not healthy. Modya, Kiara’s son was very healthy. But they were both playful. Modya wanted to care for his brother, even if he was a cub. One day, Ade asked Kovu if he could go play. “OK.” Kovu said. “But stay in the Outlands!” “Yes sir.” Ade said. In the Pridelands, Modya asked Kiara the same thing. And Kiara answered the same answer. Except she said, “Stay in the Pridelands!” Now, sometimes, Ade didn’t listen. He went to the Pridelands.  Modya sniffed. “Roar!” Ade roared. “Who are you?” Modya asked. “I’m Ade.” Ade replied.

“I’m Modya.” Modya said. “Let’s play.” It started to get dark. They were still playing. “Roar!” “Roar!” They heard Kovu and Kiara’s roars. “Kiara?” Kovu asked. “Kovu?” Kiara asked “What are you doing here?” “Getting Ade.” Kovu replied. “I just want to run away!” Kiara exclaimed. “I want to be with my family!” “Then we will run away.” Kovu said. “Come on, boys.”

They went very far. Then, they saw a stream. “How do we get across?” Kiara asked. “Jump?” “Yes!” Kovu said. “Jump across it!” They jumped.

There was a big boulder. “What will we call it?” Kovu asked. “Oasis rock. And this will be the Oasis.” Kiara said as she pointed to the stream. They put the cubs in the cave. Then Kiara & Kovu fell asleep, too. Years past, the cubs grew very strong. One day, Modya said, “Mom, Dad, the Oasis is gone!” Kiara, Kovu, Simba and Nala were all standing there. “Ade, Modya,” Kovu said. “We’re all going to the Pridelands.”  “And,” Kiara said. “We’ll visit here again.” They all went to the Pridelands. There were 4 kings and 2 queens. The Pridelands were as happy as ever.
