Simba and Nala sit in front of small, very old, T.V.
The screen is black. Simba and Nala jerk awake.
Various sounds of nature start to play. Simba and Nala look slightly sad.
The disney castle scene comes on. Then, it fades away.
Simba and Nala looked a little bit sadder.
A lion roared. "Wow, his roar was so powerful!" said Simba
Then, somebody started singing: Nants ingonyama bagithi baba
"Your saying that chant isn't more powerful?" asked Nala
Sithi uhhmmm ingonyama
"Not yet." said Simba
Ingonyama
"I wonder why that never startled Rafiki?" asked Nala
Nants ingonyama bagithi baba
Simba and Nala cover ears. "KINDA LOUD, ISN'T IT?" screamed Simba
Sithi uhm ingonyama
"WHAT!?" asked Nala
Ingonyama
Simba turned down the volume. Simba groaned.
Siyo nqoba
Nala growled.
Ingonyama
".....so, this is how they filmed my presentation?" asked Simba
Ingonyama negew' enamabala
"It's all over now, Simba. Your not a baby anymore, right?" asked Nala
Ingonyama negew' enamabala
Ingonyama negew' enamabala
Ingonyama negew' enamabala
Ingonyama negew' enamabala
Ingonyama negew' enamabala
"*******." said Nala
Ingonyama negew' enamabala sitha ngqwa
Simba laughed at Nala cursing out the T.V.
Ingonyama negew' enamabala eshe
Nala roared.
Ingonyama negew' enamabala eshe
"Jeez." said Simba "I guess you can't hold your anger in all the time."
Music plays and different animals are shown, until some giraffes are coming up a hill.
"It's not nice to laugh at other's discomfort." said Nala
From the day we arrive on the planet
and blinking, step into the sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
Simba nodded.
More to do than can ever be done
Nala looked at him evililly.
More animals are shown.
Nala pounced on Simba and sent him sprawling onto his back, and having him pinned onto the couch stomach up by Nala. "Pinn'ja." she said
There's far too much to take in here
Simba pushed Nala off himself and looked at the screen. "I wonder what they mean by that....." said Simba, then he looked disgusted "EWWWWW!"
More to find than can ever be found
Nala gasps. "How could they say that, don't they know that I've found everything in Africa?" she asked
But the sun rolling high
Simba glared at Nala. "Ok, you have too." she said
Through the saphire sky
"Go saphire sky!" cheered Simba
Keeps great and small on the endless round
"If only that were true." said Nala
Soon, Mufasa and Zazu amerge.
Simba laughed. "Look how goofy Zazu looks!" he laughed
It's the circle of life
"Wow, this song is upbeat." laughed Nala
and it moves us all
Zazu bowed to Mufasa, and Mufasa nodded at him.
"Wow, I never thought Zazu would leave so quickly." said Simba, and Nala nuzzled him
Through despair and hope
"Yeah, I got a mouthfull of BOTH of those first try." said Nala
Through faith and love
"I got a shot of both faith and love, but that was just because I was lucky." said Simba
Rafiki came through the crowd and went up to Mufasa.
"If only we knew that path existed as cubs." said Nala
Till we find our place
"Yeah! Mufasa, Rafiki, their both backstabbing ********." said Simba
On the path unwinding
"I wonder if that path's not dead by now." said Nala
Rafiki and Mufasa hug.
"Oh, yeah, lovey dovey now, *****." said Simba
In the circle
"Obviously this 'circle' isn't round enough....." said Nala
The circle of life
"******, circle of life!" said Simba
The music stops, and the flute starts playing.
"Simba, calm down!" said Nala "It happened when you were a baby!"
Mufasa takes Rafiki over to Sarabi holding Simba.
"I WAS pointed in the other direction." said Simba
Rafiki puts glob on Simba's head and takes him up Pride Rock and holds him for everyone to see.
"Heh, you were pretty cute as a baby." said Nala
It's the circle of life
"Funny how that 'circle of life' turned out in the end, huh Nala?" asked Simba
The crowd cheered.
"Yeah, 'circle of life'." said Nala
and it moves us all
"Kind of ironic, 'and it moves us all', huh?" asked Simba
Through despair and hope
"Are you saying we have a little too much 'despair and hope'?" asked Nala, sounding offended
Through faith and love
"No, and we have the just right amount of faith and love too." said Simba
Sun shines through the clouds on Simba.
"Oh, you must have hated having that sun in your eyes." said Nala
Till we find our place
"Yeah, just as much as I hated finding my place." said Simba
The camera showed a full view of Pride Rock and Simba's presentation. Nala shuddered.
In the circle
"So much for the circle." said Simba
The circle of life
Nala screamed in fright, terrafiying Simba.
The title of the Lion King showed up in big letters against a black background.
Simba nuzzled her. "It's ok, you were my hero in this movie." he said
The screen faded to black, and mouse sounds were heard. "Whoah, that mouse had good acting skills!" said Nala
It is discovered the mouse is in a cave.
"That wasen't that same mouse, that mouse was just lip syncing." said Simba "It's father was the one really talking."
The mouse went to the light and sniffed, then squeaked and a paw smacked down on it.
"That mouse and Scar are dumber than I thought." said Nala
"Why didn't the mouse see Scar?" asked Simba
Scar is playing with mouse in paw.
"It did, at least after Scar captured it." said Nala
"Life's not fair is it, you see, I, well I, will never be king, and you, will never see the light of day again. Adieu." said Scar
Simba closed his eyes, blocking out the picture of Scar.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play with your food?" asked Zazu
"Yeah, 'don't play with your food', everyone knows that's just a load of ****." said Nala
Scar sighed and put the mouse under his paws. "What do YOU want?" asked Scar
"I'm starting to wonder now what lion and hornbill taste like." said Nala
"I'm here to announce that King Mufasa is on his way." said Zazu, with a bow, and then his head shot up "So you'd BETTER have a good excuse for missing the ceramony this morning."
Simba gulped, and sighed. Then he looked up at the screen. Zazu was right, if you missed a ceramony on Mufasa's watch than you BETTER have an excuse.
The mouse ran away.
"That mouse.....it ran away.....********." said Nala
"Oh, now look Zazu, you made me lose my lunch." said Scar
"I oughta shred Scar for talking to Zazu like that over lunch." said Simba
"Hah!" said Zazu, now not bowing anymore "You'll lose more than that when the king gets through with you! He's as mad as a hippo with a hernia!"
"That was totally a lie." said Nala "He wasen't THAT mad."
"Oooh, I quiver with FEAR." said Scar
"How did they find enough meat to feed Scar?" asked Simba
When Scar said 'fear' Nala shivered.
"Now Scar, don't look at me that way.....HELP!" screamed Zazu
"Those very words will haunt my nightmares." said Simba
Scar caught the bird in his mouth.
"That right there will haunt mine." said Nala
"Scar!" screamed Mufasa off screen
"I can't believe Scar didn't see through that." said Simba, Nala gasped
"Mm-hmm?" asked Scar
"Mufasa couldn't have seen through that!" said Simba
"Drop him." said Mufasa
"Mufasa's too **** evil for his own good." said Nala
"Impeccable timing, your majesty." said Zazu
Scar spit Zazu out. "Fast-foreward!" said Simba, and he fast-forwarded a little
"Why! If it isn't my big brother decending from the high to mingle with the comoners." said Scar
"Ok! That's good!" said Nala
"Sarabi and I didn't see you at the presentation of Simba this morning." said Mufasa
Simba and Nala watched in silence what Mufasa had said to Scar.
"That was TODAY, oh, I feel simply AWFUL." said Scar
Tears came down the cheeks of Simba and Nala. Scar scraped his claws against the wall, while Zazu cringed. Simba started sobbing.
".....Must have slipped my mind." said Scar
Nala put a paw on Simba's shoulder.
"Yes, well, as slippery as your mind is, YOU should have been FIRST in line!" said Zazu
Simba sniffed sadly at Zazu's words. Scar snapped at Zazu. Scar put his head down to Mufasa's paw.
"Oh, Simba, I'm so sorry for you." said Nala
"Well, I WAS first in line until the little HAIRBALL was born." said Scar
Simba pulled himself away from Nala. Nala wiped away a few tears that had hit her face, and Simba took a few deep breaths. Mufasa lowered his head "That hairball is my son, and your future king."
"Oh, I shall practice my curtsy." said Scar
"Oh, Simba. Scar, he's pure evil. He missed your ceramony, pure evil!" said Nala
Scar turned away and started to leave. Simba and Nala laughed a little bit. "Don't turn your back on ME, Scar." warned Mufasa
"Well, that was a little bit more cheery." said Simba
"Oh, no, Mufasa, maybe YOU shouldn't turn your back on ME." said Scar
"IS THAT A CHALLENGE!?" roared Mufasa, coming up to Scar
Nala swallowed seeing how much so few words hurt Mufasa.
"Temper, temper, I wouldn't DREAM of challenging YOU." said Scar
"Hey, that's Zazu there!" said Simba
"Pity! Why not?" asked Zazu, flying up
"So that's where Zazu got his bad temper with Scar from." said Nala
"Well, as far as brains go, I got the lion's share, but when it comes to brute strength, I'm afraid I got the shallow end of the gene pool." said Scar
"Well, we know that changed." said Simba
Scar left.
"Yeah, freaky, huh?" asked Nala
"There's one in every family sire, TWO in mine actually, and they always manage to ruin special occasions." said Zazu
"What is he going to do with him?" asked Simba
"What am I going to do with him?" asked Mufasa
"He'd make a very handsome throw rug." said Zazu
"Great minds think alike." said Nala
"Zazu!" said Mufasa
"Wow, Pride Rock looks nice in this scene." said Simba
"And just think! When he gets dirty, you can take him out and BEAT him." said Zazu
"How the **** can you think about beating Scar?" asked Nala
They left the scene, with Mufasa laughing. "I guess they got used to it after a while." said Simba
Mufasa grabbed the romote and paused it. "Hey, can I watch too?" asked Mufasa
"Sure." said Simba
Rafiki is seen painting a picture of Simba in his tree, when Mufasa hits play.
"That was a horrible time for me, when you were a baby." said Mufasa
"Hmm.....ah heh heh heh heh heh.....Simba." said Rafiki
"That monkey doesn't give a **** about anyone besides himself, does he?" asked Simba
The picture fades, along with the tree. Simba sighed with relief. Simba is next seen as a cub, as he comes up and looks at Pride Rock, then runs into the cave and pounces over lionesses. Nala looked at him sitting on the couch.
"Dad! Dad! C'mon dad, we gotta go! Get up!" said cub Simba
"Yep, that was pretty much cubhood." said adult Simba
"Omph!" said one of the lionesses
"Sorry! Omp." said cub Simba
"Yeah, you never said sorry for ramming over my mother." said Nala
"Dad? Dad. Dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad, dad-" said cub Simba
"Hakuna Matata, Nala." said Mufasa watching T.V.
"Your son.....is awake." said Sarabi
Simba and Nala laughed, watching the scene.
"Before sunrise, he's YOUR son." said Mufasa, on the T.V.
Mufasa just glared.
"Dad? Dad! C'mon dad, (He pulled on Mufasa's ear) Da-whoah!" said Simba
"Pretty calm as a cub, huh?" asked Nala "You sound ****** off."
Simba fell off screen and came back and head-butted Mufasa. Mufasa looked sleepily at his son.
"You PROMISED." said cub Simba
"Yeah, Simba, you sound ******." said Mufasa off screen
"Ok, ok, I'm up." said Mufasa, ON screen
"So, that's what you really thought about me when you were grumbling?" asked Simba
"Yeah!" said cub Simba
"I really didn't want that to change." said adult Simba
Mufasa, on screen, yawned. Mufasa and Sarabi followed cub Simba as he made his way up Pride Rock. Sarabi stopped part of the way through as Mufasa and Simba went up Pride Rock. Mufasa and Simba are seen on Pride Rock.
"Oh, Simba, nothing will change the bond that you and your father have." said Nala
"Look, Simba. Everything the light touches is our kingdom." said Mufasa
"Wow." said cub Simba
"It wasen't that amazing." said the Mufasa on the couch
"A king's time as ruler rises and falls like the sun. Someday, Simba, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise, with you as the new king." said Mufasa on the T.V.
"Look who's 'ruler' now." said adult Simba
Nala glared at Simba. Mufasa had a look of dread. Simba glared at Nala, then Nala looked confused.
"And this will all be MINE?" asked cub Simba
Mufasa off screen looked a little embarrased. "Everything." said Mufasa, on screen
"Er, mind my asking, why are you two looking so embarrased?" asked Nala, and Simba whispered into Nala's ear. Her eyes went big.
"Everything the light touches." said cub Simba "What about that shadowy place?"
"It was everything the light touches after that." said adult Simba
"That's beyond our borders, Simba. You must never go there." said Mufasa on screen
"You know that wasen't convincing for Simba OR you." said Nala
"But I thought a king could do whatever he wants." said cub Simba
"Yes, kings don't need the drama of rules!" said Mufasa off screen
"Oh, there's more to being king than getting your way all the time." said Mufasa on screen
"You were trying to convince me there's more, weren't you?" asked adult Simba
Mufasa started to walk back down Pride Rock.
"Everything you see excists in a delicate balance. As king, you have to understand that balance, from the crawling ants to the leaping antelopes." said Mufasa on screen
"It took you two years to figure out that balance Simba." said Nala
"But, dad, don't we eat the antelope?" asked cub Simba
Mufasa and Simba watched in awe, and Nala was holding back tears.
"Yes, Simba, but let me explain. When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass, and so we are all connected in the great, circle, of life." said Mufasa on screen
"So, that's what you talk about on your little 'walks'." said Nala
"Good morning, sire!" said Zazu, coming up to them
"Looks like he finally came to his senses, that Zazu." said Mufasa, off screen
"Good morning, Zazu." said Mufasa on screen
Simba smiled and nodded.
"Checking in.....with the morning report." said Zazu
"Fire away." said Mufasa on screen
All three laughed.
"Well, the buzz from the bees is that the leopards in a bit of a spot." said Zazu
Simba and Nala laughed hysterically.
"Oh, really?" asked Mufasa on screen
All three burst into laughter.
Cub Simba tried and failed to pounce on a grasshoper. Nala had tears in her eyes. ".....and the apes are going APE over this. Giraffes act as if above it all....."
Simba gasped and snapped back into reality.
"What are you doing, son?" asked Mufasa on screen
"Go, Simba!" said Nala
"Pouncing." said cub Simba
"You just said what you were doing without fighting?" asked Nala
"Yes." said adult Simba
"Let an old pro show you how it's done." said Mufasa on screen
".....the tick birds are pecking on the elephant, I told them to forget but they CAN'T....." said Zazu
"How ironic." said adult Simba
"Zazu, turn around." ordered Mufasa on screen
"You always told me YOU said that." said Nala
"Yes, sire." said Zazu, turning around "As they always say, cheetah's never prosper."
"Hey, what ended up happening to Zazu, that his voice changed?" asked Mufasa, pausing the movie
"Cheetahs killed him, we had to replace him." said Simba
The T.V. suddenly turned black. Nala was unable to turn it back on. "Dang, it broke." said Nala "Oh well, we watch the rest later."
