This began a month after Taka got a cut on his left eye. His father Ahadi had organized a party and all the animals (or only those who could come) have came. While celebrating infront of them Taka appeared and claimed that he doesn't want to be called Taka. He wants to change his name to Scar. He explained that he wanted to remember his fooleshnes,he didn't want ot repeat his mistake again. Ahadi was very proud of him,Uru and Mufasa were sad,but Sarafina was the saddest of them all. She loved him from the day Mufasa had introduced him to her. Sarafina knew that Taka would never look at her,but now - it was a chance! Sarafina also knew Taka loved Sarabi,but because she betrayed him with Mufasa he was now alone and sad,marked with a blood sign. While all others were having a great time at Ahadi's Sarafina decided to follow Taka. He went at the back of Pride rock and then,into a dark cave. Sarafina also stepped near the cave and heared a cry. It was Taka's cry. She stepped forward and tried to see him but the cave was too dark. 

"Taka..." -Sarafina started. "Scar." - a voice corrected her. "Umm,Scar,can I talk with you?" - Sarafina placed her head at the voice's position. "Leave me alone!" - the voice said loudly. Sarafina didn't leave. She continued - "What has happened to you? How did this happen? How did you get that awful scar? Please,come in the light and tell me! Don't hide in the shadows of this cave!" "No. You wouldn't like to see me closer. I'm a monster!" - the voice cried. "Please,I want to see you!" - Sarafina looked sadly. Then she closed her eyes...
Suddenly the cub came out of the dark hole. Sarafina saw the terrible scar on Taka's face. "Oh,Taka..." - a tear ran down her cheek. Taka fell on the ground and started crying - "It's all my fault. Now nobody will like me!" "No,that's not true!" - Sarafina also lied down,against Taka. - "I like you." "Really?" - Taka looked up at her amazed. - "Even with the scar?" "Yes." - Sarafina confirmed - "I'll always like you!" then she licked Taka's scar. In that moment Taka felt strange. he had never felt like that before. He forgot Sarabi,Mufasa,Ahadi and even that he had a scar! This is how a love was born!

After that Taka became a boyfriend with Sarafina! They played,sticked together... Mufasa was happy about his brother.He didn't bother him and Sarabi anymore. Two years past and the cubs grew into teenagers. Taka started growing mane and Sarafina liked that. They were the best friends. Now they've become more than friends - they've become lovers! Scar (Taka) liked giving presents to Sarafina. He also allowed her to call him Taka. Everyone else had to use the name Scar. One night the two sat on a hill and looked at the sky. The stars could be seen clearly in the sky. There was also one very bright star. Sarafina had putted her head over Taka's black growing mane. Then she looked up the stars and asked her futre husband: "Taka,what do you know about the stars?" Taka looked at sarafina,then stared at the brightest star and told her: "Well,my grandfather,king Mohatu used to tell me that the great kings are watching us from up there." "Whau!" - Sarafina smiled - "King Mohatu has told you that? Didn't your father had to teach you those things?" Taka's face changed to sad,he stood up and went at the end of the hill on they were standing. "Did I said something,wrong?" - Sarafina went near him and as he did she sat beside him. "No,it's just..." - Taka started to explain - "My father had never thought me such things. He hates me and doesn't want to see me. He likes Mufasa more. That's why my mother asked Mohatu to teach me this." "Taka,don't get sad. Come on - smile!" - Sarafina tried to cheer him up. - "Tell me something else that Mohatu has told you." "Well," - Taka again stared at the stars - "Once he told me he'll soon go up there. He predicted his death. Two days after he told me this he died..." "That's sad." - a tear ran down Sarafina's cheek. Taka gently picked it up,telling her: "You don't need to cry! He also told me he won't die." "Really?" - Sarafina looked amazed. "Yes," - Taka continued - "He told me that his body will turn into grass and his soul will go up there and become 'The brightest star'. He told me this: 'After I'm gone and you need an advice,look at the brightest star in the night sky and you'll see me.' I still don't know how to comunicate with him." "I didn't know it's so interesting to look at the stars at night!" - Sarafina said happily. "Well,if you're with a good friend..." - Taka laughed and ran down the hill. - "Come on! Catch me,if you ca-a-a-a-an!" Sarafina smiled and ran after Taka. The two chased all night and when they got tired they lied on the grass together,hugged and fell asleep.

The next day Taka suggested that he and Sarafina not to go back to Pride rock. - "Ahadi will be angry at me. I prefer staying here with you. I don't want to see him again. Let's stay here." "Well..." - Sarafina thought for a momment. - "I don't think that's a good idea. It might be dangerous!" "Oh,don't worry." -Taka smiled - "As long as we're together nothing can harm us!" Sarafina also smiled and accepted his idea. And so they didn't go back to Pride rock.

The next day Taka and Sarafina decided to go for a walk to the waterfall. They sat down and talked about something. Suddenly they heared a cry for help. They turned around and saw a  small female cub who was drowning in the river. Worst of all - there was the giant waterfall ahead of the cub. "Taka,do something!" - Sarafina shouted. Taka wasn't in a mood for saving,but he'd do everything for Sarafina. He dived in the water and with all his strenght he reached the cub,grabbed it and took it save on the riverside. Sarafina and Taka helped the cub get better and asked her. - "What's your name? Where are your parents?" "I'm Zira." - the cub explained - "My parents are dead." Taka and Sarafina felt sad about the cub. "Do you want to have a new family?" - they gave her a warm hug. "Yes." - Zira cried. "OK. We'll take you to a new pride." - Taka sugested and then he led the cub to Pride rock. Sarafina waited for them. Zira liked Taka. He was her hero. Taka was talking about the Pride lands,but Zira wasn't listening. She was just staring at him. We can't tell exactly,but she even fell in love with him. When they cam everyclose to Pride rock Taka stopped,looked at Zira and told her - "Well,I'll leave you know. You just have to go to that big rock there and ask for help." "What about you?" - Zira caught Taka's leg. "Well,don't worry about me. I'll be just fine." - he answered her. Then they said goodbye and Taka went back to Sarafina. What happened to Zira? She joined Ahadi's pride and began a life on Pride rock!

A week after the saving of Zira Sarafina got up very early in the morning. She looked at Taka. He was sleeping. Sarafina was feeling a bit starnge (she had never felt that way before) and decided to go to the nearest lake and drink. After she reached it and drank from the water,the strange feeling was still in her. In the same time,a male rogue lion was approaching. He saw Sarafina alone,drinking from that lake and decided to come closer to her. After a few steps the rogue lion sensed that that lioness was in a mating time. And because he didn't see any other male lions around he continued walking against her. Sarafina spoted the rogue lion. "Who is he?" - she thought in her mind - "What is he doing?" She had no idea what was going on until the rogue lion came close to her. He was just preparing to climb on her back when Sarafina solved it all. - "I'm in a heat! He wants me!" Then she screamed loudly avoiding the lion. Luckily Taka,who was just getting up heared her shouts for help! "Sarafina is in trouble!" - his mind worked fast and he followed the screams. He arrived just in time! The rogue lion was very angry and was preparing to hit Sarafina when Taka jamp over the unwelcome visitor. The two lions started a fight! After a few minutes biting the rogue lion felt too weak. He wacked Taka over the face (the same spot where the scar was) and ran away! Taka's old wound became bigger and started bleeding! Taka closed his eye to protect it from blood falling in it. "Taka,are you allright?" - Sarafina looked worried. "I'm fine,I'm fine." - he went to wash his wounds from the fight.

This is how I think the rogue lion looked like.

Sarafina went to help him wash up. "You were right - we didn't have to stay here alone. We had to go back to Pride rock." - Taka growled. "No,you are right." - Sarafina licked Taka's scar the same way as she did when she was a child. - "If we're together,nothing can harm us!" "Yes,but that rogue lion could've killed you!" - Taka again growled. "No,Taka,he didn't want to hurt me..." - Sarafina stared at Taka's light green eyes. He looked at her confuzed. - "Wh-what do you mean by that?" "Well," - Sarafina started - "He wanted to be with me." "WHAT?!" - Taka was really amazed right now. Sarafina continued - "Yes,Taka,I'm in heat. But I didn't want any old,bad,mean rogue lion to with me. Now is your chance Taka! Make me yours!" At that time Taka wasn't the lecher he became when he took over the kingdom. He was a kind gentleman. "B-but,I've never..." - He stareted to complain,but stopped. He knew he had to do it,because he loved her so much.

Writer's note: I do not know english so well to describe that moment and it's forbidden for me to say it,so I'll move on...

The same night Taka and Sarafina were very tired and fell asleep immediately. The next morining they were awakened by a very familiar voice - "I was looking all over for you! Glad I found you!" The voice was Zazu's voice. He was a very annoying hornbill who worked for the kingdom. "Oh,Zazu,what is it?" - Taka looked at the bird. "You must come quickly to Pride rock! Something terrible is about to happen!!!" - Zazu shouted. After Taka heared 'terrible' he jamp and told Sarafina to come with him and Zazu to Pride rock. She agreed and they all ran to Pride rock. After they reached it Uru,Taka's mother welcomed them. She was very sad and she was crying. - "Oh,Scar...today is a very tragic day. Your father...the king...Ahadi...oh,I can't speak..." Then she continued to cry. Sarafina went to cheer her up. Zazu explained to Taka that Ahadi is very sick and wants to speak to him. Taka left Uru and Sarafina behind and entered the king's cave. There he saw his father and brother. Ahadi was lieing down and couldn't move. Mufasa was sitting next to him,holding his paw. Ahadi looked at Taka. He first thought that was Uru (because Taka had the same dark brown fur) but then he noticed the black mane and recognised his son - "Taka,is that you?" Taka letted only to Sarafina to call him 'Taka',but this time he made an exception. - "Yes,father. It's me." "I want to speak to you...alone." - Ahadi looked at Mufasa,who stood up and went out of the cave. He didn't greeted with his brother. Then Ahadi's green eyes stopped at Taka. - "Come closer,son." He did as his father comanded him and took the same position as Mufasa's when he was here. "Yes,dad?" "Son,the Great Kings have spoken." - Ahadi looked at his son. - "They told it is time..." The old lion cough out. - "They told me it is time for me to go." Taka didn't react. "Son,hold my paw." - Taka again did what he told him. - "I don't want to join the Great kings without..." - he again cough out. - "I want your forgiveness. Please,son,forgive me for everything I've done to you!" Taka looked at his dying father. It was so easy to say 'I don't forgive you!' Taka had to think what to say. His father never liked him,his father gave him the scar Taka carries now...There were so many mistakes done by him. But under the cold look on Taka's face a warm heart was lieing. Taka loved his father even if he had hurted him most. Today that small part of love towards his father made Taka forgive his dad. - "Dad,I forgive you!" Ahadi smiled and then told him something very important. - "Thank you,son. I couldn't believe you'd do that for me. Now I can rest in peace." - He prepared to close his eyes,but then suddenly opened them. - "And before I go,remember that I'll always be there to guide you..." "I know," - Taka interrupted him - "Mohatu told me to look at the stars." Ahadi smiled - "Then,ther is one more thing you should know - take care of your friends and mostly - watch your brother. You're smarter than him. Don't let him make mistakes and don't let him hurt..." Suddenly the king stopped. He didn't say a word. Taka tried to hear his fatehr's heart beating but it was silent. The king was dead! Now he would turn into grass and become a part of The Great Circle of life! Taka came out of the cave. Uru,Mufasa and Sarafina were waiting there. "He is dead..." - Taka told them. Uru started crying again,Sarafina looked sad at Taka and Mufasa came closer to his brother - "What did he say before he died?" "He told me..." - Taka thought for a minute - 'I can't tell him all dad told me.' - then he continued - "He told me that he'll always live among the stars and watch us from above."

Later that day Sarafina went to speak to Taka. "I'm sorry about your father." - she started,but Taka interrupted her. - "No,no,no! I'm not so sad. His time had come." "There are some other news. As the king died then..." "I know,I know - the prince will become king. Unfortunately Mufasa was chosen by dad. He'll be king." Sarafina was sad about him. They both sat for awhile. Then Taka remembered something and told Sarafina he has to go somewhere now. Sarafina tried to ask him where is that place,but he didn't tell her.

After Ahadi's funeral Mufasa and Sarabi became king and queen of Pride rock. Taka did not like that. He remembered what his father had told him,but a starnge desire told him 'Do everything you can,just become king!!!' Taka and Sarafina now lived on Pride rock. As Mufasa and Sarabi they also had a cave to share. But the cave was always cold at night,because every night Taka was going out somewhere and returning in the morning. Sarafina felt very alone at nights that Taka left her alone. The real place where Taka was going was to the Elephant graveyard! There he was meeting with his three best buddies - Shenzi,Ed and Banzai. They were planning different plots of how to get rith of the king. Sarafina didn't know that. There was also another reason for Taka to visit the hyaenas. He was now a chief of the hyaenas. Shenzi,Ed and Banzai's mother (she was the chief of the hyaenas) had died by the paws of Ahadi a month ago and the hyaenas wanted a new leader. Shenzi,Ed and Banzai didn't want to take such a responsibility and after they found Taka,they decided to make him their leader. He agreed. So now Taka was the king of the hyaenas. But ruling over some hyaenas,who own only the Elephant graveyard wasn't enough for a lion like Taka. He wanted more power!

One day Sarafina was again left alone in the cave. She wasn't feeling very good. She even fainted. Luckily Sarabi was near to help. She took her to Rafiki's tree and he helped her get better. "What happened?" - Sarafina asked feeling a little dizzy. "You fainted. I brought you to Rafiki." - Sarabi explained. "I...I fainted?!" - Sarafina looked worried at Rafiki. - "Is it something serios?" "No." - the mandrill laughed - "You have to be happy about this. Sarafina,you're pregnant!" Sarafina looked amezed and then she was very very happy. - "I have to tell Taka!" - she with a smile. Sarabi looked a bit worried. - "Is Scar the father?" "I hope so!" - Sarafina looked at Sarabi's face. - "What? Aren't you happy?" "Yes,it's just...Sometimes Scar is not the good lion you see." - Sarabi explained. Sarafina remembered the past and then started thinking - "No,Taka has never been bad. He's just too sensitive,that's all..." Later that day Taka returned home and sat down in his cave. Sarafina was there,waiting for him. - "Will you go again to that 'job' tonight?" - she asked him. 'Job' was the name of the place where Taka went every night or day. Well he atleast asked to be called like that. "I don't know." - he told her. "Well,I have to tell you something..." - Sarafina sat down with Taka. "What is it?" - he looked at her blue eyes. "I fainted." - she started. Taka  jamp on his feet and asked her worried - "Don't joke with me! I don't wan you to get hurt!" "No,Taka,I'm not joking. But don't worry - Sarabi was here to help me." - Sarafina continued and Taka sat down again. - "She took me to Rafiki's. Then he helped me. It was nothing serios,because...Taka,I'm pregnant from you." Taka was surprised! He never thought that Sarafina would get pregnant. Then he remembered the day he chase off that mean rogue lion. "Aren't you happy?" - Sarafina asked him. Taka couldn't hear her. Right now an evil plot was in his head. - "If my child is a male cub then I might become a king! Mufasa has no cubs from Sarabi yet. So I can be king if my cub is a boy...Heh-heh. If Mufasa has no male cubs who would take the throne,he can't be king! Heh-heh!" All of this was one of Mohatu's laws. It said that the first male (son of the king ofcourse) who has a male lion cub from any lioness would take the throne's place,no matter the father's decision! - Yes! At last! Taka will be king and all of this would be fair. He promissed Sarafina that he won't go to that 'job' of his anymore,because he'll spend his time protecting her from bad lions or lionesses.

Everything was going just fine untill one day when Zazu (remember him?) told to all animals of Africa that finely king Mufasa and Sarabi will have a cub. Taka's plans would fail...unless he did something for this. He had to act fast! "Babies are easy to loose." - he thought. - "I'll just attack Sarabi and...No,I can't hurt Sarabi...Or,I can! She and Mufasa are responsable for my scar,not my father! I'll hurt Sarabi! I'll hit her untill she doesn't lose the baby! Heh! I must do it! Now!" And so Taka went to Mufasa and Sarabi's cave. Mufasa wasn't in there,only Sarabi. She was sitting in the cave. Zazu was with her. "Sarabi?" - Taka looked at her. Sarabi turned her head and saw him. - "Oh,Scar! I wasn't expecting to see you!" "How are you,Sarabi?" - he started. - "How is the baby?" "Fine,thanks. The baby is good,too." - Sarabi replied to him. "I came to congratulate you for the small one. Hope it's a boy!" "Thank you,Scar. I'm glad you came. We haven't seen eachother for a very long time." "Well,I'm happy to see you,too. Now,I got to go." "No,wait!" Taka turned around and looked at Sarabi. She told him - "I know that this baby could've been yours." "No,Sarabi. Don't feel sorry for me. Besides I'll also have a child,from Sarafina." "I know. She told me." "OK. Now,I really have to go,to protect Sarafina and the baby." "Thanks,anyway.Bye!" "Oh,and before I go. Hope your baby doesn't get hurt!" "Why? Mufasa is always right behind me." "Oh,no,now he isn't." "But you're here." Taka just turned around and prepared to go out of the cave,but then he turned against Sarabi and attacked her. She screamed! Zazu,who was with her tried to protect her but Scar quickly got rith of him (no,no,he didn't eat him,he just threw him away) Luckily Mufasa was just comming home and heared Sarabi's cries for help. He went in the cave and saw his own brother preparing to slash Sarabi! Mufasa jamp infront of his wife and Taka hitted him. Mufasa was strong enough to get on his feet and to tell Sarabi to run. Then Taka fought his brother. At the end Mufasa struck him down and roared - "What were you thinking?!" Taka didn't say anything. He just got all his left strenght and pushed Mufasa away. Then he ran out of pride rock. Mufasa hurried to see is Sarabi OK. Luckily she just had a small scratch on her right leg and the baby was safe. "We have to warn Sarafina." - Mufasa told his wife - "My brother shows aggression that I've never seen before. Except,you know when... I don't want to remember it. Anyway,I'm gonna find him and bring him back here!" "Take care of yourself,Muffy." - Sarabi wished him luck. "And you take care of our child." - then Mufasa followed his brother's tracks in the mud. Sarabi looked at the sky. It was going to rain. She knew that something was going on with Taka. "Is it something I told him?" - Sarabi thought.

Meanwhile Taka returned to Sarafina and told her they had to get out of the Pride lands. "What has happened?" - Sarafina asked him. "No time to explain! Let's go!" - he shouted at Sarafina. She looked at him and saw some wounds over his body. "Where did you get those wounds?" "I'll tell you later. Come on!" Sarafina stood up and prepared to go with him,but she fell on the ground in pain. "What's the matter with you?!" - Taka looked very annoyed. "I can't get up!" - Sarafina told him. - "The baby...it's comming..." This was a very bad situation for Taka. He had to call Rafiki to help Sarafina give birth to his child,but if he went ot find the baboon Mufasa might of come and tell Sarafina what has happened or even worse. Even if he was wounded and tired he grabbed sarafina,putted her on his back and ran to find Rafiki. A few minutes after Taka ran with Sarafina Mufasa came. It was already raining outside. Mufasa looked around Taka and Sarafina's cave but didn't find anything. Then he saw tracks leading outside,the way to Rafiki's house. So the king went in the same direction. Meanwhile Taka and Sarafina reached Rafiki's home. "Rafiki,Rafiki,come,hurry!" - Taka shouted. Rafiki saw them and jamp down. "Follow me." - he pointed them something as a shelter. They all went there and Rafiki started helping Sarafina. That moment Mufasa came. Taka heared him coming and went outside. "What have you done to Sarafina? Where is she?" - Mufasa saw his brother approaching. "I haven't done anything to her! I had to bring her here because she is giving birth to my child!" - Taka told Mufasa. Mufasa came near his brother,telling him - "I don't want to hurt you! I'm just concerned about you. Why did you try to hurt Sarabi? What has she done to you?" Taka was too weak to speak or move and fell unconscious on the grass. Mufasa felt sorry for him and decided to take him back to Pride rock. Suddenly the rain began to stop and Mufasa heared a baby cry from Rafiki's shelter. He went there and saw Sarafina holding a small baby cub in her hands. "Is that...is that Scar's child?" - Mufasa looked at the newborn cub with love. Sarafina was too tired to speak but she managed to ask - "Where's Taka?" Mufasa couldn't believe she called him Taka,but anyway answered - "He is fine. Just a little tired." Sarafina was happy. She fell asleep holding her baby. Mufasa asked Rafiki - "What is it?" - pointing Sarafina's cub. "It's a girl." - Rafiki answered. "I'm sure Scar will be happy about that!" - Mufasa smiled. But he wasn't so right about it...

The next day Taka was feeling better. But he found out he was on Pride rock. He angrily ran down the rock and headed to Rafiki's house. Mufasa stopped infront of him - "And where do you think you're going?" "Get out of the way!" - Taka tried to hit his brother,but Mufasa avoided his attack. "You can't go anywhere." - Mufasa started. - "You got to take responsability." "What are you talking about?!" - Taka interrupted. "But mostly..." - Mufasa continued - "You have to explain your behaivior towards Sarabi." Taka pretended he had not heared and pushed his brother away. "Don't make me do what I don't want!" - Mufasa angrily growled at Taka. - "You've become a father. You have to go back to Pride rock and see your futre wife and your child." Scar smiled evily (Finely - I'll be king! I'll take care for Mufasa's unborn hairball later,now I have to see my son and ticket to better life.) and then said - "Ok. I'm going. Just don't go mad as Zazu did,yestarday...Heh heh." Then Taka turned around and went to find Sarafina. Soon Scar found Sarafina. She was in their cave and holding a small cub baby. She spotted Taka and a smile appeared on her face. - "Taka,I'm glad to see you're OK!" "I hope our son is OK too?" - Taka came closer to Sarafina. "A boy?" - Sarafina looked amezed. - "But Taka,our child is a girl." Taka couldn't believe what Sarafina was saying. - "Ar - are you sure it's a girl?" "Yes,look." - Sarafina showed the newborn cub to Taka. "A girl?! A GIRL?!" - Taka started thinking. - "How can this be? My plans have failed! NO!!!" "I decided to name her Nala." - Sarafina smiled and licked the cub. - "Nala means 'gift' in Swahili. And yes - she is a gift! From you to me. Oh,thank you Taka!" "Don't call me like that!" - Taka angrily growled at her. "Taka? What are you doing?" - Sarafina looked afraid at him. "I told you to call me SCAR!" - he again growled. "What are you talking about?!" - Sarafina looked even more frightened. "The cub! GET RITH OF HER!!!" - Taka angrily looked at Nala. "No,that's your daughter,your blood!" - Sarafina stared at his eyes,but the only thing she saw in them was anger and jealousy! "What did I told you?" - Taka continued. - "Get rith of her! I needed a boy,not a girl!" Filled with anger Taka jamp and tried to kill Nala with a slash! But Sarafina managed to sve her daughter from Taka's attack. "Don't you at least love me?!" - she asked him. "NO!!!" - Taka roared angrily at them! Sarafina stood up and prepared to get out of the cave. - "You're not the Taka I knew before!" "Taka died!" - Taka angrily hitted the ground with his paw. "You've definitely changed!!!" - Sarafina shouted at him,took Nala in her mouth and ran out of the cave. She left Taka staying alone in the dark. He tried to hold his tears. He also couldn't beliave that he had just driven away the lioness he loved. Now Taka was really dead. Everything that Taka had learned from his grandfather,his father,his mother and his love towards everybody disappeared today! He tried to kill his own child! Later Sarafina found out what Taka tried to do with Sarabi and her unborn child. She decided to keep a secret of who is Nala's father. She didn't want her to know him better. Sarabi and Mufasa decided to help Sarafina rise her cub. And so Sarafina used to tell Nala that her father was named Taka that he died the day she was born. Nala never knew Scar's real name. A month later Simba,Mufasa's son was born and Nala had a friend to play with. And what about Taka? We'll just call him Scar now.
