Scene 1 The Death Of King Simba and Queen Nala
Simba and Nala lay on the ground. Mufasa and Scar's glowing ghosts in front of them.
Simba: Nala, I don't think we're going to make it out of here.
Nala: Simba, Mufasa and Scar are here.
Mufasa: Hello, Nala, son.
Scar: Simba, Nala, I'm so sorry for what I have done.
Simba: How could you kill him?
Simba's head rested on the ground, and he moved no more.
Nala: Simba? Simba?
Mufasa: Nala, relaxe.
Scar: Yes, if your too stressed out, you won't die.
Nala: I don't want to die!
Mufasa: You must.
Nala passed out.
Scene 2 Moarn
Zazu and Timon sitting, sadly, outside the Main Cave.
Zazu: King Simba, and Queen Nala, dead.
Timon: How could this happen?
Zazu: I have no idea!
Timon: Their, their gone.
Zazu: We'll never see them again.
Timon: There has to be a bright side to this.
Zazu: Kiara and Kovu can now be king and queen.
Timon: Yeah, at least that can happen.
Zazu: I guess so.
Timon: This is so horrible!
Scene 3 The Presentation Of Akida and Adimu
Antelopes start coming to Pride Rock. A rhino passes the sun. Meercats scramble across the ground, running from fleeing cheetahs. A stork or two fly above the scene. Rafiki comes on screen, holding two red cubs. He holds the cubs up for everybody to see. The sun shines on the cubs. The animals cheer. The cub in Rafiki's left hand giggles.
Scene 4 Ruling Required
Rafiki puts the cubs down and puts them in Sarabi's paws. Rafiki is holding in his hand, a single hyena cub.
Rafiki: You have wonderful children.
Sarabi: Thank you, I'm so excited to have provided the world with the next ruler.
Rafiki: Any time. What are the cub's names?
Sarabi: The male is Akida, and the female is Adimu. Why do you have that hyena?
Rafiki: I am adopting her, her name is Ajia.
Sarabi: She's beautiful.
Rafiki: One day, I hope she will be proud of me.
Sarabi: I think she will.
Rafiki: You do?
Sarabi: Of course.
Rafiki: Thank you.
Sarabi: Your welcome, Rafiki.
Rafiki: I hope your children will grow into great rulers!
Sarabi: What?
Rafiki: The first child born into the family after the king is dead, is the new ruler!
Sarabi: Really?
Rafiki: Really. You have a long time, however, the choose if you want Akida or Adimu to rule. You have until King Kovu dies. You can make your choice at any time.
Sarabi: Wow, I never thought I would be choosing another ruler!
Rafiki: You must choose wisely though, the wrong choice could kill the kingdom!
Sarabi: I know that, after what happened with Scar.
Scene 5 Alasiri
Shenzi is holding a baby hyena in her paws, in the Elephant Graveyard.
Shenzi: Alasiri. Perfect name. Now, my pack's gonna be perfect! We're gonna live in here again. Nothing to stop us! Now, all I have to do is find a pack. Stupid Simba. Banzai and Ed are the only ones left now. The rest of them are dead! Great. Now, Simba's dead, but some other lion's living in the Pridelands. I don't know what to do. This is going horribly. Really horribly. What if something happens to you? I know if something happens to you, it's my fault! So, I just won't let anything happen to you. That simple. Huh, never thought it could be that simple. Guess it is. Stupid Simba.
Scene 6 Hyena Life Desturbed
Years later, Banzai is sleeping in the Elephant Graveyard. Two red furred lions bounce up to Banzai.
Akida: Uncle Banzai! Uncle Banzai!
Adimu: Wake up, wake up!
Banzai opens his eyes.
Banzai: What, I aint your uncle.
Akida: Mama said you would teach us how to rule a kingdom!
Adimu: So, will you, Uncle Banzai?
Banzai: Oh, I'll teach you. (Banzai gets up)
Akida: Yay!
Adimu: Yay!
Banzai: I'll teach you a lesson or two.
Akida: I can't wait!
Scene 7 Trespass
Banzai jumps in front of the cubs. The cubs shriek. Adimu bounces back.
Banzai (singing): I'm gonna teach you a lesson
He snaps at them. Akida hisses. Adimu backs away from Banzai.
Banzai (singing): Gonna get me a bite
Banzai growls. Akida backs away also. A geyser goes off behind them and Adimu and Akida jump aside.
Banzai (singing): When I getcha tonight
Banzai snaps at the cubs again. Akida jumps behind Adimu in fear. Adimu shrieks.
Banzai (singing): Your so far away from grass
Banzai starts to walk towards the cubs. They back away, Adimu breathing really fast.
Banzai (singing): Trespass!
Banzai lunges at the cubs. They run away, with Akida in the lead, Adimu just behind him.
Banzai (singing): I get a good meal at last
Banzai follows the cubs. Akida looks behind him. Adimu gets into the lead.
Banzai (singing): So don't scream and fight
Banzai snaps at Akida's tail. Akida runs a little faster. Adimu pants.
Banzai (singing): When I bite
Banzai growls again. Akida starts panting. Adimu climbs up a bunch of rocks.
Banzai (singing): Come on down, don't be scared
Banzai lunges at Akida just as he jumps on one of the rocks, and the rocks start to crumble to the ground.
Banzai (singing): I'm telling you to, be prepared, when you, Trespass!
A rock almost hits Banzai, and Akida is running from a mountain of rocks. Adimu is ontop of one of the falling rocks.
Banzai (singing): You're far away from grass
Banzai climbs ontop of a large boulder. Akida scratches at the boulder. Adimu is falling from the rock where she was planted.
Banzai (singing): You'll never pass
Banzai scratches at the rock where Adimu was, but fell. Akida screams. Adimu falls on the ground.
Banzai (singing): Watch out, I'm coming at last
Banzai falls. Akida runs to Adimu. Adimu weakly stumbles to her feet.
Banzai (singing): This will haunt you now and become your past
Banzai stumbles up and looks at Akida and Adimu. They look at him.
Banzai (singing): Trespass!
Ed and Kiara come in. Ed comes to help chase the cubs, and Kiara grabs the cubs by the scruff of their neck, and pulls them out into the Pridelands,
Scene 8 Kiara Interveens
Akida: Mama said that this hyena was gonna teach us how to be good rulers.
Adimu: I thought it was safe.
Kiara: I know you didn't know that would happen, and I'm sure your mother didn't either.
Akida: Can we play out here?
Adimu: Please?
Kiara: Alright, as long as you stay out of there, and Kovu comes with you.
Akida: Yay!
Adimu: Yay!
Kiara: You cubs.
Akida: I can't wait to play with King Kovu!
Scene 9 Kovu Abandons
Akida and Adimu are playing with Kovu.
Akida: I love playing with you, King Kovu.
Adimu: Your so fun!
Kovu: Aww, you cubs are too kind.
Akida: Wanna race, King Kovu?
Adimu: Please, please, PLEASE?
Kovu: Ok!
Kovu races off, Akida and Adimu following him.
Akida: Wow, you run really fast.
Adimu: I can barely, see, you.
Kovu: Come on, just go a little faster!
Akida: Wait, I can't see where your going!
Adimu: King Kovu!
Akida passes out. Adimu stops and looks at him.
Adimu: Great, he passed out. Now, what am I supposed to do? I can't leave him. (Looks at a butterfly.) Or maybe I can. He'll never know I'm gone!
Scene 10 Adimu Meets Alasiri
Adimu chases the butterfly, just chasing and not pouncing, all the way to the Elephant Graveyard again. Alasiri, who has Shenzi's hair and Banzai's eyebrows. Adimu stops and looks at Alasiri.
Adimu: Umm, who are you?
Alasiri: I'm Alasiri, aren't you that cub that was here earlier, with another cub?
Adimu: I'm Adimu, and that was my brother, Akida.
Alasiri: Your brother, huh? I can lead you back into the Pridelands, and to Pride Rock.
Adimu: I don't trust you.
Alasiri runs off into the Pridelands, with Adimu following her, she walks right up to Sarabi.
Adimu: Mama!
Alasiri: Miss Sarabi!
Sarabi: What?
Adimu: The hyena you told me to go to tried to kill us!
Alasiri: I found her chasin' a butterfly!
Sarabi: Adimu! I told you to learn! Not play! Thank you, Alasiri. You can go.
Alasiri leaves.
Adimu: He tried to kill me.
Sarabi: That's no excuse! He was probubly testing you!
Adimu: He was chasing and snapping at me and Akida.
Sarabi: Where is your brother?
Adimu: King Kovu was watching and playing with us, but we started a race, and King Kovu got too fast for us. Akida passed out.
Scene 11 Adimu In Safety
Adimu and Sarabi come up Pride Rock, to where Timon is.
Adimu: I'm so sorry!
Sarabi: Time for sorry is over, let's hear what Uncle Timon says about this.
Timon: Say about what?
Adimu: Aww, Mama, please don't tell him!
Sarabi: She was just getting a lesson by a hyena, and just because he tried to eat her, she left!
Timon: Can I have a moment with her?
Adimu: I'm so sorry Mama!
Sarabi: You can have her.
Timon and Adimu go out to talk.
Timon: I know it's not your fault you ran.
Adimu: You don't blame me?
Timon walked away, and Busu came up, who was a male warthog.
Adimu: Hey Busu.
Busu: Hey Adimu.
Adimu: My brother and I got a lesson from a hyena.
Busu: I heard.
Adimu: I don't get it, why does Mama blame me?
Pumbaa comes up to Busu and Adimu. Busu and Adimu turn around to see him.
Busu: Papa?
Pumbaa: Busu, Adimu. I want you to come with me.
Adimu: Where are we going?
Busu: Are we going back to the jungle?
Pumbaa: Yes, and I want to bring you with us, Adimu.
Scene 12 Akida Wakes Up
Alasiri and Adimu are talking with Busu and Pumbaa watching. Akida slugishly walks over to them. It is the day after Banzai attacks Adimu and Akida.
Akida: WhereamI?
Alasiri: Oh, your Adimu's brother?
Akida: Huh?
Alasiri: Umm, ok.
Adimu: I'll just, go.
Alasiri: Umm, hello, Akida? Right?
Adimu leaves to go talk to Busu and Pumbaa.
Akida: Yeah, I'm Akida. Who'er you?
Alasiri: Alasiri. Your sister's really nice.
Akida: Yeah, she is.
Alasiri: Whatever.
Akida: Whatever.
Alasiri: I think she would have made a wonderful queen, if she had stayed in the Pridelands.
Akida: You really think I wouldn't make a good king?
Alasiri: Well?
Akida: If that is your best responce you don't seserve to know my sister.
Alasiri: Well.....I don't think you have the right to judge that, do you?
Akida: Do I? Well.....I really don't.....I still think you shouldn't.....
Alasiri: You do? Why is that?
Akida: I have a bad feeling about you. She'll fall in love with you. Then, things will go horrible.
Alasiri: I don't think she will.
Alasiri sighs and sits down on the ground.
Alasiri: I know this is my home.
Akida: You do? Your smarter than I thought.....
Alasiri: Oh, I am, am I?
Akida: You understood that? You understand English? Wow, you are smarter than I thought.
Buyu came towards Alasiri and Akida. Buyu has cream fur, red eyes, and a light brown mane.
Alasiri: Buyu!
Akida: Buyu?
Alasiri scaters off screen, but Akida doesn't see where he went off to. Buyu growls at him.
Buyu: Hello, Akida.
Akida: Hello.
Buyu: As you may have heard, I am Buyu. This is my land. I rule the hyenas.
Akida: I knew that.
Buyu: As I could-
Akida: I'm Akida.
Buyu: I didn't think I gave you permission to speak again on my land, as I could assume you know Alasiri. I see you've stumbled across my land.....?
Akida: Oh, I didn't know that I was coming into your land. I didn't even know you owned it.
Buyu: I do.
Akida: I know that now.
Akida looks at him.
Akida: Er, sorry. I'll leave if you want me to.
Buyu: You can stay.....
Akida sighs.
Buyu: Your the prince. Or are you?
Akida: I am.
Buyu: Of course. Your going to be king one day.....?
Akida: I'm not a king. I have no training. My sister is leaving though.
Buyu: Your sister could be prevented from leaving.
Akida: How would that be?
Buyu: She could. Yet, I don't think it's possible. Because.....
Akida: Because?
Buyu: Because, she's too in love with Alasiri.
Akida: What?
Buyu: She's madly in love with him.
Akida: What? Really? I don't believe that!
Buyu: You don't? I, I somehow don't believe that. Somewhere in my gut I think you believe it.
Akida: Yet.....it's so hard to believe. I always thought she'd get married and have cubs.....that's impossible now.
Buyu: It's so true.....and so sick. I just can't stand it.....
Akida: I can't stand it either. He'll just break her heart. They're just not ment to be.
Buyu: Yet, it's such a miracle. It would be so unlikly for anything like this to happen again.....
Akida: Really?
Buyu: Really. It's like a curse you can't get rid of.
Scene 13 Lead Back Home
Alasiri is seen watching from behind a corner. Timon sneeks up behind him.
Timon (whispering): Hyenas. I hate hyenas.
Alasiri looks down at the meercat.
Alasiri: You hate hyenas?
Timon: I really do.
Alasiri: Really, that's intresting, very intresting.
Timon: Your doing a very good job at creaping me out.
Alasiri: Buyu loves little meercats like you. To eat.....
Timon: He likes, eating meercats?
Alasiri: Of course. Now, I'll leave before you waste any more of my time.

At Pride Rock, Pumbaa is on top of Pride Rock, panting.
Pumbaa: Oh, no. How am I going to get to the jungle? I'm so out of shape.
Alasiri climbs Pride Rock and stalks Pumbaa.
Pumbaa: Hyena? What's a hyena doing on Pride Rock?
Alasiri stands up and walks sits next to Pumbaa.
Alasiri: You knew it was me. That takes skill, skill I didn't think a warthog as yourself would pocess.....
Pumbaa: I know you wouldn't. It's part of my warthog senses.
Alasiri: Of course. If you have powers, someone of less powers wouldn't understand. I would expect no diffrent.
Pumbaa: Of course you wouldn't.
Alasiri: You showed no sign of power before.....
Pumbaa: That because, I didn't know before. I had no idea I had power. Let alone, the power to avoid death. I don't think I can take it.
Alasiri: Of course you can.
Pumbaa: I know I have to.
Alasiri looks at Pumbaa, and Pumbaa looks at Alasiri.
Alasiri: If you use your power for good nothing can go wrong.
Pumbaa: I agree.
Alasiri: I don't think you should leave.
Pumbaa: I have the power to avoid death. I can handle walking around in the dark.
Alasiri (turning around): Do what you want, but you'll only be able to use your power if you wish it.
Scene 14 Growth
A red furred lioness is down on the ground, stalking two storks. She gives a deep breath. She runs towards them, and they scatter away. Alasiri comes out of nowhere.
Alasiri: Good job at scarring the birds.
Red furred lioness: I wasen't trying to SCARE them. I was trying to pounce on them.
Alasiri: Well.....Adimu, you didn't do very good, and I'm not that great myself.
Adimu: Ok.....I admit, running up to them, wasen't such a good idea?
Alasiri: Of course it wasen't.
Adimu: Was totally unprepared?
Alasiri: You were prepared.....
Adimu: I just didn't do very well.....
Alasiri: I think you didn't have the right plan, correct?
Adimu: Maybe.
Alasiri: Of course. You can't run at birds, they'll run away.
Adimu: I should have thought about that.....
Alasiri: You should have.....why did you think running at birds would work? There's something else I wanna talk about also.
Adimu: Anything to change this subject, so what did you want to talk about? There's something I wanna say too.....but I want to hear what you have to say.....
Alasiri: We've known each other for a long time.
Adimu: We have.....

At the elephant graveyard, Alasiri is talking to Shenzi, who has a sad look.
Shenzi: I knew, ever since you were born, that this would happen. You have fallen in love with a lioness. This is so rare.....yet I knew this would happen from day one.
Shenzi sighs. She looks at the ground. She sniffs.
Shenzi: Alasiri, you're in love with Adimu.
Alasiri: I know, that I am in love with her.
Shenzi looks sadly at her son.
Shenzi: So, now you want to marry her?
Alasiri: Yes.
Shenzi: You really do?
Alasiri: Have I got to answer that?
Shenzi: You really do?
Alasiri: Well.....yes. I want to marry Adimu.
Shenzi: Then you must marry her.
Alasiri: I can't because she's a lioness.
Shenzi: You really believe that matters?
Alasiri: How could I not?
Shenzi: You can believe what you want to believe.....not what others want you to believe. If she loves you too, your ment for each other.

Banzai is circling Ed and sounds panniced.
Banzai: Do you think he'll go through with this?
Ed laughs.
Banzai: You really do?
Ed laughs.
Banzai: How could you believe that?
Ed laughs.
Banzai: I can't believe I'm talking to Ed. He's not going to answer in any way I can understand anyway. There's no point in this.....
Ed bounces out the door.

Adimu is sneaking up on three storks now, and not two. Something in the grass next to her gives a big sniff. Adimu's eyes narrow. The lion licks it's lips. Adimu feels the grass, and then pounces where the storks were, and crashes into a red furred lion with a black mane. Adimu scratches the land. Then, a big wet lion comes out of the lake.
Big Wet Lion: Well done, you almost cought one.
Adimu: If it wasen't for you, I would have cought all three. I can't believe you did this Akida.....
Akida laughs. He shakes off his fur, and it puffs up before laying smoothly down. Adimu does the same with her fur.
Adimu: I would pounce on more birds if my brother would stop trying to pounce on the same ones.
Akida: Aww, come on Adimu. They will be more times, won't there?
Adimu: What if I die tommorow? There won't be many chances if that happens, will there?
Akida: I highly doubt that. Don't you?
Adimu: I do doubt that would happen. Still, I was trying to prove a point.
Alasiri comes and rolls his eyes.
Alasiri: You're whining about one miss? This is only your second try.
Adimu: Yes, because this is really important to me. This means life or death on my standerds.
Alasiri: You forgave me yesterday don't you remember?
Akida snorts.
Akida: I can believe that. What happened, you two are getting married?
Alasiri: How did you know? We didn't tell anybody, except I told my Mama.
Akida: It wasen't that hard to guess. From the moment you met I knew you two would be sickly attached to each other.
Adimu: We're not sickly attached to each other. We're madly in love.

At Pride Rock, Akida, Adimu, and Alasiri are coming up to Rafiki and Zazu.
Zazu: Hello. (taking a step back) What is that hyena doing here?
Akida: This hyena is the supposed 'future king.' If he's ruling, I'm leaving.
Rafiki: Future king? You are going to marry him Adimu? The great kings of the past have done this.....what a wonderful thing they've done.
Akida: Wonderful? I see nothing wonderful about this.....unless the wedding is off. Unless, it's already happened.
Rafiki: The wedding has already happened, with Sarabi uniting them. The rest of the pride, I can't imagine how happy they'll be!
Zazu flys in the cave. Rafiki hops off to his tree. Adimu, Alasiri, and Akida walk into the cave to tell everyone.

Scene 15 The Circle of Life Rolls On Again
Akida is sitting up in the cave, when Adimu comes up to him.
Adimu: Hi, Akida.
Akida: Hi.
Adimu: You don't think my marrige to Alasiri is weird, right?
Akida: No, he tought you how to hunt.
Adimu: Oh. Your sure?
Akida: Yes.
Adimu: Well, thanks for being so supportive. I thought, I thought you wouldn't be supportive. I was wrong though right? At least I think so. Right? At least I hope.....
Alasiri comes in the cave.
Alasiri: Why would Akida be unsuportive of our marrige?
Akida: Yeah, why would I?
Alasiri: Well, it might be because I'm a hyena.
Akida: I not unsuportive, I suport you one hundred percent. Why, why would you think I wasn't?
Alasiri: You act really weird. Not, yourself. So, is that a good enough reason?
Akida: Oh.....that's unrealated!
Adimu (annoyed): It is! Why are you so protective of it?
Alasiri (mumbling): I don't believe this.
Akida walked out of the cave. Alasiri chased after Akida. Akida stopped at a shady tree not that far from there.
Alasiri: You just walked out for no reason. What's your problem?
Akida: My problem. It's my problem.
Alasiri: It is. (he stops in front of Akida.)
Akida: It is.
Alasiri: Your just repeating what I'm saying. Do you think that by doing that you'll scare me?
Akida:.....My words mean the same thing when you say them then when I say them. The words don't change meaning by who says them.
Alasiri: You think that makes sense?
Akida: I do.
Alasiri: You do?
Akida:.....I do.
Alasiri: You really do? I don't think it does, yet I won't pester you about your logic any longer.....
Akida: .....I. I think my logic is sensible. I don't know why you followed me here.
Alasiri: You don't think me and Adimu should be married! I know that's what all of that was about! I know.....
Akida slumps off. He heads in the direction of Pride Rock.

Alasiri and Adimu are sitting on Pride Rock.
Adimu: You talked about logic?
Alasiri: Yes we did. Yet, he tried to intimidate me at every chance he could get.
Adimu: Were you intimidated?
Alasiri: No.
Adimu: Your very untimadatable. I was never like that.
Sarabi came up to where they were.
Sarabi (stopping and sitting next to them): You picked a very good person to marry.
Adimu: Thanks.
Sarabi: So what was up with Akida today?
Adimu: We were talking about Alasiri and I being married.
Sarabi: I get it now. Do you?
Alasiri: No.
Adimu: I was hoping you could explain this more clearly. So that we would understand.
Sarabi: It's easy to explain. Ever since you two got married he's been living on the outside.
Adimu: Yes, but what does that mean?
Sarabi: Well.....that means that your marrige caused this.
Adimu: So, he's jelous.
Sarabi: It's more Alasiri, he wants Alasiri to get out of the family.
Adimu: I get it now.
Sarabi sets out for Akida and sees him by a tree.
Sarabi: Akida, I know what's going on.
Akida: You do, really?
Sarabi: I do.
Aikda: How did you guess?
Sarabi: It wasen't hard to guess.
Akida: It was easy to guess?
Sarabi: Yes it was.
Akida: I can't believe you found out.
Sarabi: Would you mind telling me why you don't want Alasiri in the family?
Akida: He's a hyena.
Sarabi: That doesn't mean he doesn't deserve to be in the family. Even if Adimu is a lioness. It's rare and wonderful. A whiny lion isn't going to change that. Ever. So get over it.
Akida: So, basically I'm a whiny lion. I'm not whiny though.
Sarabi: You may not think your whiny. You are.
Akida: I am?
Sarabi: You are. It's ok though. You just have to stop acting like that. Then you'll find everyone is ok.
Akida: I'll never forget that.
Sarabi: You better not. If you know what's good for you.
Akida: I definatly will remember that.
Sarabi: So, your not going to do something you'll regret right?
Akida: I won't. I know I won't. I know I'll do everything right. Then everything will be fine in the end.
Sarabi: You will?
Akida: I will. I'll make sure Alasiri is happy. Very happy. Then everything will be ok.
Sarabi: Everything will?
Akida: Everything will. I know that now. I know everything I need now.
Sarabi: That sounds wonderful.
Akida: It is.
Sarabi: I know how this will turn out, however. Didn't expect that, did you?
Akida: Of course I did. That doesn't change anything.

Alasiri and Akida are in a fight, and Akida is about to raise his paw to kill Alasiri when Adimu comes in.
Akida: Your dead to me, Alasiri.
Alasiri: I knew I couldn't trust you.
Adimu pounced on Akida and all three of them were fighting, when Kovu came in and broke up the fight.
Kovu: What's going on here?
Alasiri: I was sitting here and this psyco came and tried to kill me.
Kovu (looking at Akida): Akida, EXCILE!
Akida ran.

Animals gather around Pride Rock. Rafiki comes out of the Main Den for Pride Rock, with a grey cub with a red dot on his head in his hands. From left to right, Kiara, Kovu, Adimu, and Alasiri come up and the cub is held up. All the animals cheer.
The circle continued, and Akida was not there. Yet, nobody knows where he was.
The screen blacks out.
