Chapter 1

It was a dark and snowy night in Canada, and Kellan, Hurricane, Winter, Kaplan, Timber, and Rolland were just lying around when suddenely… Mallard comes running up from the pack and is panting and panting.

Kaplan, being the leader of the pack then says, “Mallard, what the hell is it this time?”

Mallard then replies, while out of breath,”The hunters are out and this time, there not going to stop until all of us are dead or captured!! We must move quickly in order to loose them.”

Kaplan is outraged, but not surprised, not even a little. He says to the other wolves,”Round up the troops, we are moving out of here. Do it…NOW!!!”

They all then get up in a flash and run to try and get keep the other pack members safe from and of the attacks from the hunters. But there was a problem, the hunters just so happened to be in very close range, so they had two choices, to either run as fast as possible or try to make an attempt to hide from them. They didn’t want to die yet, so they chose to run as fast as they could so that they were out of range.

And while they are running, a wolf cries in agony and pain, Kaplan looks and finds that a wolf has fallen and is in a lot of pain.

The wolf tries to get up, but the pain that he is enduring is very strong. Though he says to Kaplan, “Go…go on without me…I’ll be fine.”

“No you won’t. If I just leave you here than the hunters will be that much closer to capturing all of us. Hold on…” He then starts digging into the snow and lifts his body off the ground and takes him out into the forest where no one can see them. But the hunters are getting closer and closer by the minute, so he didn’t know what to do and how to help him. He had no way of knowing if the wolf will die now or later.

The hunters realize that the Kaplan and the other wolves are out of sight and keep on looking for them.

One of them says, “We need to catch those damn wolves so the boss will be pleased.”

“All in due time, son…All in due time…”

And after that was said, one of the other hunters saw something in the distance. He aims and fires at it, hoping that it was a wolf not anything else.

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SHOOTING AT YOU IMBECILE!!!? THAT WASN’T EVEN A WOLF!”

“Oh, and you would know that because??”

“Oooooh, damn it…you…HOLD YOUR GOD DAMN TONGUE BOY! Don’t make my slap you one!”

“Oh yeah, like that’s really going to hurt me! Oh yeah, I’m sooo scared of you! Hahaha!”

“Do you really want me too? Because I’ll put this shotgun down and I’ll knock you on the floor! Don’t think I’m playing with you! I’ll kick your—“

“WILL YOU TWO KNOCK IT THE HELL OFF?? My goodness, all you do if fight! Can’t you two come to an agreement?”

“NO!”

“Well then, settle your “feud” somewhere else, because quite frankly I don’t want to hear it. I want those wolves dead or alive!”

At the top of the hill, Mallard walks up to the other wolves are; growls softly, and then says, “What are we doing just standing here? We can’t just sit here and watch Kaplan and Hetman walk straight into their death bed! We have to do something!” He rounds up some wolves and orders the others to stay back for back-up. They’re now closing in on the hunters, which are closing in on Kaplan and Hetman.

“On my signal, attack them…”

“CHARGE!!!”

“No…I won’t let you do this. You might get yourself killed or captured,” Winter says.

Mallard replies, “So what? You people don’t care about me anyway! All you do is make fun of me and have me do everything for you!”

Timber steps in and says, “What the hell are you talking about Mallard? Now you know that that’s not even true! Since when do we make fun of you? Or ask you to do everything for you? We would never do that! You, Mallard, are one of us. There were a lot of other wolves out there that wanted to be in our pack because this pack is the strongest and the most exciting. But you know who we picked out of all of them…you! So you have no place to say that you are the outcast of the pack when you know damn well that you aren’t!”

Timber walks away and keeps watch.

Mallard thought, “Maybe Timber’s right…they did pick me over everyone else that wanted to join. And I don’t really recall anytime where they actually picked on me.”

He paused, and then he said to Winter, “Maybe you’re right, I probably shouldn’t go. Even though I would be putting myself in danger. So I’ll just stay here and keep the reinforcements company. You go on and have fun!”

Winter replies, “Now you see it my way. Now wait a minute, last time I checked, you weren’t my mother or my father!”

Timber jumps in between them trying to set things straight and says, “What the hell has gotten into you guys. Didn’t we just try to straighten this feud between both of you out before, and now you are at it each other’s throats again! By god you both are the most neurotic morons I have ever seen!”

“Hey! Speak for yourself Timber! Oh yeah, like you’re the greatest and most perfect wolf in the world. You won’t ever be perfect so understand that now, and don’t try to pretend either because that won’t work! ” They then both look over to him, with anger in their eyes.

“What the hell are you talking about? Where the hell did you get the idea that I thought that I was the greatest and most perfect wolf in the world? I don’t look at myself that way. I understand that no one in this world is perfect or is ever going to be perfect. And don’t even try and assume that I do think that I’m perfect because obviously I’m not. So what you both need to do is get your facts straight!”

“Now then…is it true that we actually came out and said that you were perfect and great. NO, you jackass! We didn’t, so don’t go off telling everyone that we accused you of being perfect and such.”

“Well, that’s no sweat off my back because I never went out to other pack members and boasted about me being perfect and all

Mallard just sat down and thought for a moment, while watching Timber, Winter, and the other run down and attack the hunters who in fact are still trying to find Kaplan and Hetman, “I know that even if we are down there holding off the hunters, I know that he will be okay!”

Kaplan is still thinking of a way to get them out of there, but he’s not sure of what to do.

The fallen wolf, slowly and softly tells Kaplan, “Maybe we……should……” And then gasps for air.

Kaplan hears this voice and looks over at the wolf, then says, “What…what should we do?”

The fallen wolf finally regains his breath long enough to say this, “This is what you do, I feel like I’m going to die soon. But that’s not important.”

Kaplan wants to interrupt, but lets him keep going.

The wolf then continues, “You must go, not up the hill, but that way.” He points in the direction and continues, “And if I die, tell everyone that I will miss them and hope that everything goes well, no matter what happens. And tell my wife that……I love her.” And his head falls slowly to the ground and closes his eyes, as if he is going to sleep.

But Kaplan knew that he had just died.

Tears start falling to the new fallen snow, and mourn the wolf as a leader… and a friend.

Chapter 2

Then in Africa, at Pride Rock. Mufasa and the lions are stuck at Pride Rock because of the weather…it’s raining again.

“Why won’t this rain just stop already. This is the fourth time this week. And it’s really getting annoying!” Sarabi growled softly, clearly irritated by the constant rainfall.

The other lionesses agree and walk up to Mufasa, who is at the entrance of Pride Rock just staring out into the rain, and start asking questions. And while that’s happening, he asks himself, “What would my father do?”

So he then turns around and roars. Everyone then turns silent. He looks around and just stares and thinks to himself for something to say.

And he turns back around and says, “Everyone just needs to calm down. And listen to me…there is nothing that I can do, let alone what you can do. So you’re just going to have to just stay in here and find something to do to occupy yourselves.”

Sarabi walks over to him and looks at him puzzled, she says, “Is everything okay dear? You don’t seem like yourself lately.”

Mufasa just turns around from looking out at the Pride Lands and says, “No…I’m fine. Don’t worry about me.”

Sarabi replies, “Okay fine, but if you need anything…I’m here.” She walks away and starts talking to the other lionesses.

Mufasa is still looking out into the Pride Lands wondering...”Why does it keep raining like this? This really needs to stop!” And while looking very annoyed out into the Pride Rock, he sees something in the distance.

He runs to the edge of Pride Rock trying to get a closer look, but he still can’t figure out what is coming this way. So he runs back to the other lionesses and Zazu.

He yells, “ZAZU!!!”

Zazu wakes up from his nap and flies over to Mufasa and says, “Zazu, reporting for duty sire!”

Mufasa then says, “I have a job for you. I need you to fly around the Pride Lands in search of what the hell is out there.”

Zazu nods and flies away. The other lionesses look up to Mufasa and start to wonder…”What is out there?”

Sarabi walks up to him and says, “Is there something wrong?”

Mufasa answers, very annoyed, “Something is out there. But I’m not exactly sure what, or who it is.”

“So let me get this straight, you had to have Zazu do the dirty work for you?? Are you not capable of doing it yourself??” Sarabi said, with anger and frustration in her breath.

Mufasa says, “Hello Newsflash! The only one here that wouldn’t be seen or heard would be Zazu. And he can fly better than we can.”

The lionesses agree, but Sarabi is annoyed and thinks otherwise.

She growls softly and says, “Boy you better watch how you talk to me, I’m your wife and certainly not one of you’re buddies. And what the hell are you talking about?!?!? We have fought against many other animals in harsher conditions than this, and you want to protect us from whatever is out there now?!?!”

She then walks away, leaving an angry storm behind her.

Mufasa, frustrated, but yells, “Wait!”

She turns, confused. She’s thinking “What does that old bag of bolts want know?”

While walking up to her, he says to her in all sincerity, “I almost lost you last time we fought together; and I most certainly don’t want to lose you now, Sarabi.”

Sarabi just stares at him and says, “I can hold my own thank you very much.” And just walks back into Pride Rock.

And just as she’s walking back into Pride Rock, one of the lionesses spotted Zazu, and told everyone.

Zazu flies back to Pride Rock and says, “It’s Scar and the hyenas. There in the Pride Lands again. And they mean business!”

“I thought I banished them to the Outlands?” Mufasa asks, very perplexed.

“With all do respect……apparently not sire,” Zazu responds.

“Well then… let’s give them what they’re asking for…” Mufasa said.

Zazu asked, very puzzled, “What exactly are they asking for sir?”

Mufasa then responds and says, “A fight…”

Mufasa and the lionesses are getting ready to fight the hyenas and Scar even though Sarabi is still following the Pride. Mufasa stops…looks around, only to make sure that Sarabi didn’t come with them nor follow them. He finds her hiding in the back of the group hoping that he doesn’t spot her, but sure enough he does and orders everyone to stop.

Mufasa yells fury in his roar, “SARABI!”

Sarabi growls softly, and answers, “What is you’re damn problem with me coming with you? I’ve already told you that I can handle myself; I don’t need to be protected. And in the event that I do, you will certainly know.”

Mufasa replies, very irritated with her, “I understand that, but I still feel that you need to be protected. I don’t want to lose you, and you know that, Sarabi. And it’s Scar that we are talking about here. He wants Pride Rock and he wants it bad. He will not stop at anything until he gets what he wants. You understand that.....right?”

Sarabi replies, “I understand…but I –“

Mufasa interrupts her and says, “Okay then, then you understand that I want you back home, safe and sound. …Right?”

Sarabi answers, annoyed with the way he’s talking to her, “Yes… but I still feel that I should help. What are you going to do when you are in trouble?? Who’s going to help you?? The lionesses would be to busy fighting the hyenas, and obviously Scar won’t help you, he’d let you die. So…who are you going to trust then, Mufasa?”

Mufasa thinks for a moment, “She does have a point though…” Then he says to him, “I’ve been thinking about what you said and….you can stay.”

She then says, “Yes.”

Mufasa turns back around and motions Sarabi to the front with him and tells the lionesses to move on.

They finally, get close enough so that they can all see Scar with his hyenas following behind him. They’re not scared of them, because they know that they have the strength to beat them.

And finally, Mufasa and his lionesses and Scar and his hyenas come face to face, ready to fight to the finish. And what are they fighting for……Pride Rock and PrideLands.

Scar walks a little close to Mufasa and says, “Well hello brother! It’s so great to see you….NOT!”

Mufasa says, confident that he’s stronger, “Nothing changes with you does it Scar?”

Scar then says, “Some things never change…” And then leaps at Mufasa and then the hyenas start attacking the lionesses. Sarabi, still hanging in there, are knocking them out one by one. Mufasa, still trying to fight Scar off. But unfortunately, it’s not working. But the lionesses and the hyenas are putting up a good fight. And just then, one of the lionesses fall from a counter attack of one of the hyenas. And it just so happens to be Banzi.

Banzi jumps for joy and says, “Haha! (While laughing),” and continues to fight.

While the hyenas are putting up a good fight, Mufasa and Scar are still at it. They can’t bring the other one down. Sarabi finds a hyena fallen to the ground. Sarabi’s thinking, “Yes! Just….how many more to go?”

Scar and Mufasa just stop fighting, the both pant from trying to bring the other one down. Then when they catch their breaths again…they keep on fighting.

The hyenas are putting up a good fight, and so are the lionesses. But then everyone just stops…they hear something in the distance. But they’re not sure what it is.

Scar and the hyenas back-up with terrified of what’s to come. Scar motions Shenzi, Banzi, and Ed to go out and see what is coming.

They all move out to seek out what is out there.

And while the hyenas go out to find out, they all just keep fighting to fight for Pride Rock and the PrideLands. Scar and Mufasa are still at it, and they’re not going to stop at nothing until they get what they want. Sarabi finds one of the hyenas chewing on one of the dead lionesses as if they were lunch meat. Sarabi is enraged with this action and attacked the hungry hyena.

The hyena falls from the sneak attack and dies. Sarabi is hungry, and she starts to chow down on it when no one is looking.

Scar finally falls after a counter blow from Mufasa. Mufasa roars loud signaling that Scar has fallen. Everyone just stops fighting, they all look at Mufasa. As the winner of the battle.

Mufasa starts to walk backward, and pants very fast; hardly watching his breath. So after Scar falls from the blow from Mufasa, the hyenas start walking towards him, just to make sure that he is okay. They see him start, slowly, to get up and make his way back home. Because he now knows that he has lost, and the PrideLandsand everything that comes with it is not in his possession.

Scar thinks for a couple seconds and then says to Mufasa, “You know that this isn’t the end!”

Mufasa answers, “Yeah…I know. But you will never win the PrideLandsand Pride Rock.”

Scar then says, “Oh you think so do ya? Well it’s not over yet, not by a long shot!” And then roars, notifying that the hyenas must go back to the Elephant Graveyard.

Scar and the hyenas then start their journey back to their home. While Mufasa, Sarabi, and the lionesses’ morn the ones that they lost and move on.

Chapter 3

Kaplan took the wolf’s advice and headed in that direction, hoping that he would avoid the hunters. So he ran as fast as he absolutely could and found himself at the edge of a hill. He looks to the left…then to the right…and decides to go left. He trails up the hill to try and get back to the rest of the pack. And while he’s doing that, he’s spotted another wolf. He questions himself, “Why is he or she just standing there on that rock all by them self?”

So he walks up to the deserted wolf and asks, “Hello! My name is Kaplan. Why are you here all alone?”

The wolf answers, “Hello young one. I am Tundra. Please, leave me in peace.”

Kaplan is baffled, and says, “But…why?”

Tundra replies, “I need to be alone…”

Kaplan is still baffled, but he continues to ponder, “I wonder if everything is okay with him?”

“Okay, but are you sure you’re okay?” Kaplan asks.

“Yes…I will be fine. But you won’t if you don’t get back to your pack…” Tundra answers.

“Ok I – Wait, how did you know that I need to get back to my pack?” Kaplan asks, but he’s still baffled at the fact that he knew that.

Tundra answers, “I know everything that happens in this forest. Or…what is left of it.”

Kaplan is confused, but asks, “What do you mean “what’s left of it”?”

Tundra then takes a deep breath and says, “Well son, let me tell you a story of what happened to part of the forest… Long ago, when the birds were flying high and the wolves were howling at night, when suddenly my pack heard something in the distance. None of us were sure of what it was. But we wanted to find out. So I sent two of my scouts to search and find out. But…they never came back. So we figured they just got lost. But unfortunately, they weren’t lost…”

Kaplan then asked, “What happened?”

Tundra continued, “They were captured. We knew that the humans were going to come around and capture us sometime, but we weren’t expecting them then. We weren’t prepared for this sort of thing, so we tried to flee to the next forest. But it was too late; while I was off trying to find another trail. I found one but when I came back to this spot, there were tons of humans carrying my brothers and the rest of my pack. It was the most horrible sight I have ever seen. And so, this is where I lay until the day I die.”

Tears run down Kaplan’s face as the story ended. Kaplan then said, “Wow…that must be really sad for you, losing all your brothers and your pack. Well, I hope that everything goes well for you.”

“Thank you Kaplan. I hope that you don’t make the same mistake that I did.”

Kaplan answers, “Believe me…I won’t…” And then continues his way back up the hill.

The pack is still waiting for Kaplan’s arrival. But they find that some of the pack members have been already captured by the hunters.

Mallard is shivering. “I’m scared…” And yells, “CAN WE GO NOW?”

Timber turns around quick and says, “Alright, come on…let’s go before we get caught.”

The rest of the pack members run down the other side of the hill, hoping they don’t get caught either. But they were too late. The hunters were already in range to shoot them or capture them with the nets that they were carrying.

Rolland jumps out from the bushes, and yells, “RUN!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!”

They all scream in panic. They’re thinking, “What the hell do they want with us?”

Rolland yells, “Get to the other side of the mountain! I’ll try to distract them.”

They all run down the hill hoping that Rolland can hold them off long enough.

Rolland starts to run down, watching them to make sure no one gets hurt. Then runs back up to the top where the hunters can see them. The hunters stop, they look up at the wolf howling at the sky.

The hunters get their guns into position. And fire, Rolland dodges all the attacks, but gets shot in the knee.

One of the hunters yells, “HE’S DOWN…HE’S DOWN!! …Get’m boys!”

The rest of the pack notice Rolland falls down, Winter runs to help, but one of the hunters shot a bullet into the air to scare him off. Winter jumps in fright, and runs back to secure the other pack members.

Kaplan finds himself at the top of the hill, overlooking the Allurer Pack. The sky turns black, the clouds drift away, and the moon is full. Kaplan’s body desires to howl at the moon. But he’s trying to fight it, but…it doesn’t work. He howls and signals to the hunters that he’s still alive. The hunters are now surrounding the right side of the forest from any trespassers. Kaplan still manages to slip away from them and runs down the other side of the hill to catch up with his fellow wolves.

The Allurer Pack finally comes to a halt; they are all tired and sweaty from all the running. Mallard is still as jumpy as can be, even though the others are panting and trying to catch their breaths.

Mallard turns around and gasps.

Timber walks up to him and says, “Mallard…what is it? What do you see?”

Mallard answers, in excitement, “IT’S KAPLAN!! HE’S BACK!!”

All the wolves jump in rejoice that Kaplan is coming back.

Kaplan runs up to the pack and says, “Miss me?”

They all run up to him and hugs him in happiness.

His mate spots him and cuddles up to him, “I thought I lost you, Kaplan. Is everything alright?”

“No…no it isn’t… Hetman…he…died…”

“Oh my gosh…what happened?”

“Well…while you all were running up the mountain; one of the hunters shot Rolland in the knee and he fell to the ground. I heard his cry and came to his rescue. I took him into the forest and behind a bush so that we wouldn’t be seen. And he told me to let him be, but I just wouldn’t listen. I was still trying to find a way to help him live. But it was too late. His last words were “And if I die, tell everyone that I will miss them and hope that everything goes well, no matter what happens. And tell my wife that……I love her.” And then his head slowly and softly touched the ground…and…that was it.”

Hetman’s mate starts to break down crying because of the loss of her husband. She was devastated of the loss of him, so she just walked away in agony, “Just leave me alone.” She says this as the pack watches her, walk away in agony.

Kaplan says, “Timber…”

“Yes Kaplan. What do you need?”

“I need a favor, I need you to go out and watch her. Protect her if you will, make sure that she doesn’t get captured and that you don’t get captured. Is that too much to ask?”

“What do you think I can’t do simple tasks like this? Is there some force in this world that is keeping you from making positive comments about me? Or are you just some hypocrite or you just like to make a mockery of me?”

“No, that’s not what I said. Stop trying to put words in my mouth! You know that I don’t appreciate when people put words that I don’t or didn’t use into my mouth.”

“Oh, like I’m trying to put words into that big old mouth of yours. All the words in the world couldn’t fit into that mouth of yours. You think that you are so tough and strong because you were appointed Alpha of the pack. Well guess what, NEWSFLASH…you are not as strong as I am, and certainly not brave or tough. So…just get with the program!”

“TIMBER!!!!!!!!!! Mark my words, you will pay for this!!” Then leaps out at him, with fury in his howl and just starts to slash and bite him. Timber fights back, and pushes him off him with his feet. Timber and Kaplan gets up at the same time, catch their breath and keep fighting.

Winter and Rolland turn around from their walk around the forest and notice that Timber and Kaplan are fighting. Winter asks one of the wolves, “What the hell is going on here?”

“There’s a fight between Timber and Kaplan going on…DUH!!”

“How did it start?”

“Well it all started when Kaplan told Timber to go and safeguard Hetman’s mate. And at the end of that order, Kaplan said, “Is that too much to ask?” Then Timber got really mad. And that’s when they just started to argue…and then this is when the fight between the two started.”

“But are you going to just stand here are watching them rip each other limb from limb. Or are you going to stop them before they kill each other?”

“No, this actually is quite entertaining. Thank you very much!”

“You are such a moron! Get out of my way!”

The wolf quivers in fear and moves out of his way. Winter finally gets through the entire crowd and is thinking, “Boy this is a big turn out!”

Winter jumps right in between them before they are ready to claw through each other’s throats and says, “What the hell do you think you’re doing? You are both fighting over something that can be talked over and settled. But no, you have to take the violent path and fight each other just because one said this and the other got mad. This is preposterous! I cannot believe that you two are fighting. You were the best of friends, well at least…that I’ve seen while I’ve been in this pack. And now you’re showing everyone else that you are willing to throw away that friendship over a fight. That my friend is ridiculous!”

Kaplan and Timber just stop…their thinking, “Is Winter actually making some sense?” Kaplan smirks and says, “Well, I guess that I shouldn’t have said it that way…”

Timber is now officially angry at him…again, but calmly says, “Well, I guess I shouldn’t have reacted the way that I did to you, Kaplan. I’m sorry.”

“I’m sorry too, Timber. Friends?”

“Friends…”

They both then make armistice and move on. Some members of the pack question what is going to happen next. But unfortunately, Kaplan can’t answer that. Since Timber and Kaplan got into that fight, they lost sight of Hetman’s mate. Even their scouts couldn’t find her, and they looked everywhere. And still no luck in the search.

Kaplan is fumigated with this and growls softly, trying to hide his anger and frustration. But it doesn’t work. His anger and frustration gets the best of him. He howls at the full moon in the sky and says, “We’re moving out.”

Winter and Timber are puzzled, “What does he plan on doing now?” Winter walks up to him and asks, “Umm…Kaplan…what do you plan on doing. And where do you plan on taking us?”

“Just do as I tell you! No questions asked!”

Chapter 4

Mufasa, Sarabi, and the other lionesses are now walking away from one of the last battles between Mufasa and Scar.

“Your brother is a real pain in the butt, you know that right?” Sarabi says, very angry at him.

“Yeah…I know. But he is my brother and I’m one of the people that had to deal with him earlier in life you know!”

“That’s true… Umm…Mufasa?”

“Yes Sarabi honey?”

“Was Scar always like that, I mean…evil?”

“Unfortunately…yes. He was the only cub in our Pride to get himself into trouble. He also got other people into trouble, but not as often as getting himself into trouble. And that, in a sense, “Way of life” if you may, carried on with him until today. He was very jealous at the fact that my father picked me to take the throne instead of him. And I understand that he’s mad, but he doesn’t have to try and kill me for it!”

“Well, what would you do if you were in his position?”

“I would never even think about being the way that Scar acts like. Never in my entire life.”

“Now…DID I EVER SAY THAT YOU MORON?????”

“No…”

“Well then!” Growls softly; then continues her sentence. “As I was saying, if and only if you were in his position, would you do the same?”

“Well…I guess so…Maybe… I don’t know…”

“Well then, you have no right to complain or mock what he is doing!”

“Yes honey!”

Mufasa, Sarabi, and the rest of the lionesses walk back to Pride Rock just as Scar and the hyenas walk back to the Elephant Graveyard in shame of being beaten by Mufasa and the lionesses once again.

“Man I hate coming home and thinking that Mufasa beat us again. I just hate it so much, I just feel like –“

“Hush my minion, one day, we will be the stronger force and kill Mufasa and finally claim what is rightfully mine… the throne!”

“And when will that day be, because you said that the last time and look at where we are at now!”

“Don’t get smart with me. You know what you need Shenzi, PATIENENCE! We just need to wait for the right opportunity and take advantage of it!”

“Well it better come soon, because I’m getting tired of feeling this way…”

“SILENCE!! Just wait…just wait…our time will come to rise up!”

“I’m really hungry, Scar. What’s there to eat?”

“You want something huh?”

“Yes.”

“Well then……GET IT YOURSELF YOU IMBACILE!”

“Fine…gosh. You don’t have to be so mean all the time Scar!”

“Well, get use to it. It’s my nature!”

Meanwhile, at Pride Rock, Mufasa and the other lionesses are sitting and lying around relaxing. Sarabi is pacing the floor thinking, “What is Scar planning? What happens if he attacks again, which I know that he will? But how are we going to face him then?”

Sarabi walks up to Mufasa and asks politely, “Mufasa…what are we going to do if Scar comes back to attack us?”

“Well…I guess we can…”

“Thank you, I rest my case. We have nothing planned for the next time he attacks. We don’t know when to expect the next attack. It could be anytime! So get up of all your lazy butts and think of a plan!”

“But I was—“

“NOW!!!”

Mufasa and the other lionesses are getting up as fast as they possibly can to think of this great plan.

One of the lionesses says, “Well isn’t she bossy?”

Sarabi hears the whisper and says, “Say what?”

The lionesses replies, “Oh, nothing…nothing at all…”

“Well, I’m going to go out and get some food. I’ll be back soon, okay?”

They all reply, “Okay…” And go back to thinking of a plan to get try to keep Scar and his army of hyenas away.

Mufasa asks, “Well…anyone have any ideas?” He hears dead silence, the only thing he hears are birds chirping in the sky.

“Umm…HELLOOOOO!”

“Yes Mufasa?”

“Did anyone just listen to me just three seconds ago?”

“Uhh…nope!”

“WHY NOT??? Well, you should of. Because I said that I need ideas. Sarabi could be coming back and minute and I’d like for her to know that we weren’t just sitting around doing absolutely nothing! I want her to know that we actually did something productive! You understand? I need ideas, answers, anything!!!”

“Well we could just use Zazu as a look-out and then if he is coming, then we use that one technique…what was it again... It’s at the tip of my tongue…”

“Are you thinking of sneak attack?”

“YES! That’s it. Thank you!”

Mufasa paces, and then decides, “Fine, we’ll go with that plan. Then if that fails…well…well…you know…we’ll think of something.”

And just as Mufasa and the lionesses perfected their plan, Sarabi comes walking into Pride Rock with legs of zebras in her mouth, dropping them onto the floor.

“Well…did you think of a plan, Mufasa?”

“Why it just so happens that we just finished putting the finishing touches on it. You see what we are going to do is this, --“

“Upp Upp Upp! Say no more. I don’t really need you to tell me what the plan is. Just tell me when it’s time for you to do so.”

“But you…But…WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WOMAN?!?!?!?”

“Excuse me? Are you talking to me?”

“Yes I’m talking to you. All you wanted us to do while you were gone was make up a plan on how to get rid of Scar and the hyenas if they want to launch another attack on us and now you don’t even want to hear it! That’s preposterous!”

“What do you mean that’s “preposterous”? If I don’t want to hear it, I don’t want to hear it. I’m just tired, so leave me alone unless it is an emergency. And not like last time where I was sleeping and you woke me and some of the other lionesses just because you and some other guys were hungry. So don’t try to pull that stunt again!”

“Okay, fine… Jeez, you don’t have to be so harsh all the time!”

“Well with you Mufasa, I do.”

“You know what?”

“I don’t know…what?”

“I love you!”

Sarabi awes and snuggles up to him as she walks past him to go and sleep.

Mufasa roars out into the Pride Lands hoping Zazu hears him. I then watched this bird in the distance flying toward Pride Rock. He just sits and waits for him to fly over.

Zazu finally gets to Pride Rock and settles down on a nearby rock and asks, “Yes sire?”

“I have…a job for you.”

“And what exactly does this task consist of may I ask?”

“Why nothing big or extraordinary. All I want you to do is…umm…come closer, I don’t need anyone to hear this.”

“Okay…”

“Alright, this is exactly what I want you to do; I want you to keep watch over these Pride Lands and make sure that no hyenas or Scar gets into these sacred Pride Lands. And in the event that you do find him or the hyenas roaming around in these lands, fly back immediately and let me know, so that we can end this war once and for all time.”

“Aye-aye Mufasa! I will get on it right away!”

Zazu then lifts off of the ground and flies out into the clear blue sky. Mufasa watches, and then walks back inside.

Sarabi then finally wakes up from her long and wonderful slumber, when suddenly Mufasa roars and yells, “THE HYENAS ARE BACK! WE NEED TO GET THEM OUT OF HERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! GET UP NOW!?!?!”

Sarabi gets up, as if there was a fire and says, “Well you don’t have to wake or scare everyone else that is NOW GETTING UP!?!?!”

“Well excuse me! I didn’t notice that matters had to wait until you were all ready and awake!!!!”

“Who the hell do you think you are talking to? Let me get this through that enormous and thick head of yours, I happen to be your mate, you understand that right or was that too hard to comprehend?”

“I understand…HEY!!!”

“Yeah well, get over it. Anyway as I was saying, I am not and never going to be one of your buddies that you can talk to however you want. Get it straight, I am a woman and would like to be treated with respect. Not how you have been treating me lately. So, you have one of two options, you can either get your act straightened out or you can leave these Pride Lands and never come back.”

“Can I have the second option please?” After that been said, he smirks with a devious smile.

“WHAT THE –“

“I was just kidding, calm down. You know that I would never leave you no matter what! …You do…don’t ya?”

“Oh…” Then wipes her forehead with her paw, then says, “Yes, I just didn’t think of it right this moment.”

Zazu flies into the middle of this conversation and says, “Now, I would hate to waste this wonderful little moment you are having, but there are HYENAS IN THE PRIDE LANDS!!!”

“Well then…” Then both reply, “Let’s go!”

Mufasa runs ahead with Zazu flying over him in the sky, just as Sarabi is rallying the lionesses to go into the Pride Lands to confront the hyenas.

They all are now 50 yards away from them and Mufasa motions everyone to stop. He turns, lowers his body to the ground and everyone else does the same. Mufasa then whispers to the Pride, “Let us watch these…morons look for their lunch, the wait for the right moment…then…BAM! We catch them and lure them back to the Elephant Graveyard.”

Sarabi and the other lionesses nod their heads in agreement and keep the silence while watching them.

“What the heck is going on here, Banzi?”

“Oh, and I’m suppose to know everything about where the animals are?”

“Well YES!!! Didn’t I tell you before to go and find some food for us to munch on? Or did you just not listen to me and sent us where-ever you wanted to go?”

“I went, and then got tired…”

“YOU IDIOT!!! You were suppose to go out and find some food, but noooo you had to go out and forget that you even had to go out there, took a nap and went back home! This is the last time I trust you anymore, I trust Ed more than you, and he’s more stupid than you are! I just can not believe this!”

“Well, excuse me madam! I didn’t know that you were the big boss lady around here!”

“What, haven’t you noticed that—wait a minute, now when did I say that I was the big “boss” lady. So get your fact straight!”

Mufasa jumps out of the shadows and says, “Well…well…well…what do we have here?”

“Oh no, it’s MUFASA!!!”

The rest of the lionesses and Sarabi jump out of the shadows after Shenzi, Banzi, and Ed are shivering with fear.

“What’s the matter, cats got your tongue?” Sarabi asked the terrified hyenas.

“Uhh…well…Got to go!” Then as they start to run off, Mufasa and some of the lionesses form a circle around them to close in on them for questioning.

Mufasa asks, “What the hell are you doing here, for one?”

“Well…uhh…you told us—“

Just as they were finishing their sentence, Mufasa interjects by saying, “Not to ever come into our Pride Lands! And what did I say was the consequence for breaking the rules…?”

“Uhh…I don’t really remember.” Ed starts to laugh, Shenzi and Banzi looks at him, very perplexed. Banzi asks, “What the hell are you laughing at, Ed?”

“Hee-Hee-Hee…Hee-Hee-Hee…” Then out from the grass, Scar and a couple other hyenas jump out behind him. “Ahh…we meet again Big Brother. Nice to see you…” He said sarcastically.

“What the hell are your little “hyenas” doing in MYPride Lands?”

“Well…I don’t know…Why don’t you ask them…” He then glanced over to the left at Shenzi, Banzi, and Ed.

“Okay then, what the—“

Then just as Mufasa starts his interrogation, Sarabi interrupts by saying, “Hell are you idiots doing here? This isn’t where you belong, so buzz off.”

“Excuse me, Sarabi. I was in the middle of interrogating these hooligans!!”

“Well, I hate them so I interjected. But anyway, it’s fun to torment you!”

“Hey!”

“It’s okay, I still love you anyway. I do it out of love!”

“Yeah…sure you do!”

“What are you talking about?? I love you and you know it!”

Zazu flies in between both Mufasa and Sarabi and says, “Now I really hate to ruin this wonderful little conversation, but AREN”T WE GOING PENALIZE THESE FIENDS???”

“Oh yes…right…uhh…Sarabi, do you want to take the honors?”

“No, but I bet YOU WOULD!!!” While she is screaming at him, motioning to him that he needs to take the astonishing role of punishing the moronic hyenas.

“Okay, this is what I want you to do, you have two options; you could either leave now and never and I mean never come back.”

“Umm…” Shenzi said. “Is there a second option?”

“NO YOU MORONS!!! YOU NEED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!!!”

“Oh, okay!” Then Shenzi, Banzi, and Ed then run out into the sunset as it falls.

Scar then thought for a minute, “Why must those idiots of a henchman fail me once more?? Just wait till I get back there…just wait!!”
