"it is time for me to return to the outlands, to see my brothers and sister again especially kovu, my twin brother and see how the war is still going on between pridesrock and the outlands since we were born" said a mysterious lion with a grin. "I just hope he remembers his sister but to go back to pridesrock i need to follow the river that led my new life here" as kiva started to follow the river she saw a few things the seem to interest her mut she ignored them. As Kiara started her hunt Kiva was in pridesrock "oh wow! everything is normal its been a long time to see the colors of the outlands and pridesrock and not in a jungle where its green, should I head to the outlands?" Kiva thought. "Of course! even though it's gloomy and dark but- wait why am i talking to myself i guess im so excited i can't stop oh well life is a bit weird" as Kiva started to head to the outlands Kiara was heading there herself but when they both made it a fire had started. "oh no!"Kiva gasped for air and coughed as she ran she saw an exit but after only half of what she had runned she tripped over something a lion, a male. "oh I hope you arent dead... im gonna regret myself for this" Kiva picked up the lion and started hurrying toward the exit but instead of falling into green grass, they fell into water. The last thing Kiva saw was Kovu staring at her in confusement as they got up and took Kiara and the mysterious lion Kovu growled at her. "woah i didnt do anything Kovu..". Before Kovu even said a word Simba and Nala came storming in so did Pumbaa and Timon then there is a strange lion that might be the mysterious lion's mother. Kovu and Simba started growling then the talk had begun. "daddy how could you break your promise?" said Kiara in anger "it's a good thing I did we could of lost both of you, no hunts for you two not ever!" "but we were just doing fine before kovu and the lion came" "kovu...!" said simba growling "hey you two back there you save the king's daughter and friend!"said a monkey named Rafiki "you saved my son?" said the mother of the boy lion "you saved my daughter?" "I only ask to join your pride..." "no!, you were banished from the pridesrock also your friend am I correct?" "I dont even know who she is" said Kovu. Kiva thought she didnt want to let them know who she is now so she said "Kiv, my name is kiv, and i do know him but not so much... I left the outlands when i was little i got carried away by a river" simba roared not so loud but enough to let them know he was angry "Simba, you owe them your daughter's life"said Nala "and my son's"said the mother Simba sighed. "you two will recieve gentlement for now... we will see" Kiara, Nala, The mother and even Kiva smiled! Kovu did smile as well but made a frown when he was behind simba. After they started walking Kiva accidently stepped on a bird named Zazu "hey watch it kiv..." Zazu said in anger as he flew away. Kiva laughed a bit even the boy lion. When they reached the big rock simba wouldn't let neither kovu or kiva in. Kiva wasn't surprised she was expecting that though, then they started heading toward a rock that was cold. Kiva smiled he knew what he was up to, kovu layed down by the rock and kiva laid down by a few feet away from him but also on a bit of the edge of the cliff. Kiara and the lion came in saying they were thank you but kovu was a bit mad so was kiva. "what kind of hunters are you friends? you could have gotten your self killed" "also for a boy stronger than a girl couldnt handle it, even for a princess" Kiva and Kovu growled in a very quiet way "excuse me?"said Kiara "so you two can handle it? and we can't?" said the lion "hmph yeah" said kovu "what is your name anyway? lion boy" said kiva "i'm Nifa". "impress us tomorrow we start at dawn" said kiara "say that way it will prove who is right" said nifa proudly "we look forward to it" said kovu. Kiva smiled big enough to show her teeth. The next morning at dawn simba woke up and streched he went to go get a drink by a lake. Kovu followed he had his prey ready, but all of a sudden kiva jumped in front of him with kiara. They laughed but not kovu he was suprised and mad that he had lost his prey. Kiva made a frown and told him "you wont harm him I know what your up to and I will stop it" then kiva smiled to see kovu smiled as well. "well then be prepared you never know when I might attack" said kovu "oh yeah well-" kiva was cut short when she heard a rustle "sshh... 3...2...1.." said kiva but then out of the tall grass Nifa and Kiara jumped to get on them. But Kovu and Kiva heard their rustle and were prepared so they stood over them when they were laying on the ground and exchange awkward looks. "oh um.. you heard us" said Kiara awkwardly. "yeah well we were planning a bit loud werent we?" Nifa also said awkwardly. "only a lot" said kovu "you two are breathing way too hard, feel relaxed take a deep breath" said kiva "shift you paws in to the ground and feel relaxed" said kovu. Birds were landing and kovu exchanged a smile "watch the masters" said kovu, Kiva looked back at Nifa she smiled. Nifa knew what that meant so he was prepared. Then kovu and kiva went running up the hill but instead of catching a bird they got a timon. well at least kovu, kiva did jump on a bird but it flew away angrily. Timon screamed in horror "dont eat me please! I never met your trident i mean scar, a bit on the booty" said tomin "timon what are you doing here!" said kiara angrily "ah kiara! hey, for once were not following yeah, this just happens to be the best bug place in the pride lands! but you dont call for an invation and.... yeesh! go on you scavengers shoo shoo!" said timon but then a bird pecks him on the nose "Oww!" said timon. "raaar! er...rarara!" said Pumbaa as he tried to shoo the birds "hey timon im getting tired i need to lose a few pounds" said pumbaa sadly. "shoo shoo!" said timon angrily at the birds, "hey what if they help?". "yeah trust an outsider!" said timon doubtly. Then he said "wait I have an idea! what if they help?" "WHAT!?" said pumbaa madly cause he had that idea already."wanna lend your voice? Grrr grrr.... ROAR! work with me!" said timon. Kiva and Kovu were both confused, but Nifa and Kiara knew what it meant so they showed them it was a roar! Timon and Pumbaa laughed happily as they chased the birds down the hill and Kiva and Kovu were roaring then in a few seconds running down the hill laughing besides Kovu. "what are we doing? whats the point of this training?" said Kovu confusely. "Training? this is just for fun!" said kiara laughing. Kiva and Nifa were busy laughing too hard that they werent even listening but all kiva said was "yes fun!, havent had it in years!" no one had heard her. Then all of them were now running down the hill saying YEEHAW! but that didnt last long when they were lead to a herd of rhinos, suprisingly this was the birds idea. Everyone were still frozen, the birds laughed as the lions started running. They found a hole but not all can fit so Kiva was out so she quickly jumped ona rhino and had a bumpy ride up the hill, and before she knew it she was flying in the air then crash landing on the ground. She got up, she was still laughing but she had a bruised on her arm that made her laugh a bit quieter. The others came in running worried but by the time they saw Kiva laughing they had a smile on their faces and they too started laughing, then night fell. They all laid down on a clear spot on the grass staring at the dark sky with glittering, sparkling stars like dots. They were talking about different shapes of the stars, "ooh see that one looks like a baby rabbit, see the fluffy tail?" says kiara smiling "oh i see it!" says kiva in exclaim. "oh i see one that looks like two lions killing each other for a scrap of meat, heh i have never done this before" said kovu smiling "me neither" said kiva in agreement. "really? me, nifa and my father used to do this all the time, he says all the great kings of the past are up there" says kiara quietly. Nifa nods, "i wonder if scar is up there too" says kovu in awe, but then he stood up sadly so did kiva. "he wasnt my father but he was still... part of me" said kovu in sadness. Nifa stood up to see what was wrong with kiva while kiara talked to kovu. "its just that.... never mind" said kiva sadder "what tell me you can tell me anything" said nifa promisely. "well kovu is my... brother and scar was part of me too but my mother has a darkness that i did escape while by brothers and sister couldnt" said kiara quietly you cant even hear her. Nifa was so suprised everyone was quiet, while meanwhile simba was on the hill watching all of them "father im lost, kovu and kiva are one of them but i see kiva has a really kind heart and is helping kovu as well" said simba interested. Then nala came up, snuggled him then the talk started "waht are you doind?" said nala "talking to the great kings" said simba smiling. "did they help?" said nala knowing they really didnt "Nope still as stars" said simba "im just still confused kiva is nice and i hardly ever seen her frown and she looks like some lion i have seen before i just cant put my paw on it, and kovu well kiva knows him well and they look the same maybe their- no they cant be" said simba doubtly "well i think they both have kind hearts then zira and scar" said Nala. "how do you know?" said simba questionably. "i can see them both down there like you, get to know them, talk to them" said Nala then walked away. Simba sighed and followed her. Downside of the hill Nifa was with Kiva comforting her, so was Kiara with Kovu. Then Kiva and Kovu got up But Kovu was watching Kiva sit, but what was amazing were that their was wind and leaves circling around her. She took a deep breath then in a few seconds Nifa was beside her asking what she was doing, then all of a sudden her ears pricked, she got up and ran to the edge of the hill, "wait kiva what are you doing?" said nifa confusenly "i thought i heard a movement or atleast thats what he told me" said kiva head down low, eyes squinting to see if any lion was there. "what? what do you mean by "he told me"?" said kiara confusely. Kovu then knew she saw his sister Vitani and Nuka he gasped quietly, "i better go" said kovu sadly "me too" said Kiva turning around but her eyes were still watching what she saw.
