'Dad, please!' Kiara pleaded with her dad Simba and made him look at the cub one last time. The little cub looked up at him with her big bue eyes that her yellow fur paled in comparisin with. 'Fine ok, you will have to look after her, find someone to feed her and keep her safe Kiara' He looked at his daughter stirnly but couldnt help when a smile crossed his face and they both laughed, 'you were never too good with disipline dad' she licked his cheek and picked up the newborn cub. She saw herNaala sitting down eating a zebra carcass the hunting party had killed earlier this morning and sat next to her, placing the cub by her side. 'Kiara, what's...' she looked from the cub to Kiara. 'Mum, it's not mine, I found her in a small ditch by the stream and she was left for dead, I couldn't help it, dad said yes ' she made sure her eyes were big and pleading, 'fine Kiara, Lucinda is feeding her triplets, go and ask if the cub can feed off her too' Kiara picked up the cub and walked to the cave, the sun streaming down on them and Kiara instanstly thought it was going to be a good day. She  found Lucinda at the back of the cave feeding her cubs her milk. 'Kiara, what a surprise, and who's this?' Lucinda smiled as Kiara approched with the cub. 'Ummm I havent quite thought of a name yet to be honest I was just wondering if she could possibley have a drink?'Kiara looked at the cubs already on Lucinda's belly, 'Of course she can!' Lucinda lauged and Kiara placed the cub down to the ground and moved the cub to her belly, 'there you go little one'. So Kiara layed down by Lucinda and talked about how she found her 'Niri' Kiara looked confused when Lucinda said this. 'Sorry?' Kiara asked. 'Oh sorry, Niri, it was my grandmothers name and she looks so much like her, your little one' Kiara smiled and nodded 'Niri, I like it' the cub now had a name and Rafiki could welcome it into the pride the next morning with a ceromony. Sarafini walked in on them and noticed the new little one suckling, 'I thought you only had three cubs Lucinda?' She sat down next to them both 'It's mine, well not mine but I found her in the ditch by the stream, her names Niri' Sarafina's eyes got wider and she left. Kiara looked at Lucinda with a puzzled look on her face 'she was a very good friend of my Niri, I guess it just brought back memories' Sarafina ran back to the ditch she was at this morning 'It cant be'

The Outlands was pale and dark compared to the Pridelands but some called it home, the shadows ruled over all the Outlands and the bugs scuttled all over the lions and the carcases. Sato ruled over them when Zira had died and Kovo was considered to childish to become king, Sato was elected and he ruled by his rules no bending or breaking of them was allowed. He walked over to Kissima and put his paw under her chin to make her look at him, she still had blood around her snout from the recent kill. Kissima knew this day was coming, the day she could sign off her daughters whole life to this evil lion. 'Kissima, you knew this was coming, I need your permission to mating with your daughter, you being the women hirachy and all' she sighed and shook her head. 'No' she pulled her head away from him and looked at Craayma her daughter playing with the new cubs, she was the only bit of light in the whole of the Outlands, she couldnt bear to see that light demolished. 'She is still young, next year she can choose her own way of life but as long as I am still ruler over her and the rest of the young females here, you will not have your ways with them!' she walked away but Sato gripped her thigh with his claws 'you Kissima are a disgrace to us!' he was about to hit her when Craayma came running over, 'Go Kissima, go now!' he roared making his word final. Kissima took one last look at her daughter and walked out on her, the cubs but most importenly Sato. 'Mum!' The last word she heard from her daughter before she heard Sato roar again, Craayma's life was his now weather she liked it or not.

'Craayma, come on, you will be the new queen of the Outlands' Sato pinned her towards the wall, this young lioness was a prize in any lions eyes but he wanted her for himself. 'No, I have told you Sato, Kovo was my only mate and I still love him, you will always be second best' Craayma hissed in his face and tried to swipe but this only excited him more. 'I always liked hard to get' He licked her face and pinned her harder to the wall making her struggle against his strength. His dark fur was the exact opposite of her pale golden fur, making it all the worse. 'Sato, important buisness...' his adviser stopped dead in his tracks when he saw what was happening, Craayma took her chance and escaped his grasp and ran far away from him back to her cave on the borders of the Outlands. Vitani was waiting for her, she was happy to see a reliable face 'Craayma what's wrong!?' Vitani hugged up to her best friend and placed a smile on both of their faces. 'Sato, he tried to mate with me against my will,  I ran and well now I'm here' She sat down on a rock and smiled as the sun glistened off her fur. 'Oh Cray, he is a jerk, we all know it if it wasn't for Nuka's death...' Vitani stopped and looked up at the sun. Craayma closed her eyes and remembered Nuka, she loved him like a brother but they were like best friends, more then at one point and Vitani did not know this 'Vitani, me and Nuka, we... mated' Craayma looked at Vitani for a reaction but Vitani just chuckled 'I know Cray, it was going to happen we could all tell you two were like brother and sister, we all know that Ziri liked you better then Nuka as well and if it wasn't for you two being so close well Nuka wouldn't of got any attention from our mother' Vitani joined her on the rock and sat by her head and looked down on her. 'if it wasn't for Kovu either, running off' Craayma sat up and looked Vitani in the face, Kovu was a sore subject for Craayma. 'Look Cray, I mean nothing like that, we know he ran away because he was becoming to much like Scar under Zira's and then Sato's teachings, he didn't want to hurt you but him finding Kiara to mate with was the best thing for him...' Vitani jumped down and walked away leaving Craayma and her thoughts.

The sun shone down on Kiara and Kovu as they welcomed the new cub into the pridelands, Rafiki held her up for all the animals to see, 'Niri, adopted daughter of Kovu and Kiara!' he shouted so even the lizards at the back could hear the new member's name. 'Niri, I like it' Kovu licked his new daughters face as she wriggled on the rock and smiled. Rafiki left the pride to celebrate their new member. 'Beautiful' Nala licked Kiara and then Niri, she was happy that there would be a new princess when Kiara became Queen. Sarafina walked in and just stared at the cub and shook her head. 'Mother, whats wrong?' Simba asked his mum as he could see the worried look on her face' she looked at her son 'oh it's nothing dont worry, she looks like a pridelander you know' she licked the new cub and felt a twang in her heart as her new great grandaughter looked up at her with big blue eyes and little smile. 'Rafiki!' Kovo shouted so he could hear him if he was in his own cave just next to the pride rock. 'yes master Kovo?' Rafiki came over with his stick in hand, 'just Kovo Rafiki, and please celebrate with us, you have been here longer then me and have seen generations of kings and queens, this one shoudnt be any different, if the others dont mind' Kovo looked around at the faces that surronded him, 'I couldnt of suggested anything better myself, join us Rafiki' Simba nodded his head to Rafiki, 'it would be my honour, Mast.... Kovo' Rafiki smiled and picked up the new cub 'she will make a good Queen' He placed her in front of Kiara and smiled, 'I know it's not possible but she kind of looks like you' Kovo nodded in agreement and licked the new cub, 'I think she's perfect' Kiara smiled and looked at the pride around her and roared, all joined in to show their enjoyment. Lucinda came over with her own cubs following, they sat down beside her and Kiara looked up at her friend and smiled, Lucinda's cubs sat down next to Niri 'mummy, who's this?' one of them asked 'thats Niri, the new princess' the cub looked to his brother and sister and layed down around Niri as she looked on with confusion 'what are you doing Thoro?' Kiara asked bemused, 'we want to be princess' too, so were doing what she does' the older lions laughed, 'you can all be a princess and princes, just that you dont have to copy Niri' The three cubs jumped up 'good, because that looks boring, we would rather play!' they ran off down pride rock into the pridelands 'dont run off!' Lucinda shouted and ran off after them only to fall down the slope, she roared in pain and Simba and Kovo ran to see her, 'I'm ok, just need to get the troublesome three and I'll be back' she smiled and stood up but fell back down, Nala ran down to see what was happening, 'You can't go no where, we will go after them in a minute, lets get you up to the cave first' Simba helped Nala get her stood up and Kovo ran after the cubs, hoping he would find them first.

'Craayma, come on!' Sato pestered her at feeding time, 'you just wont give up will you Sato!' Vitani shouted from the opposite side of the carcass 'why you little...' he snarled Vitani wiped the blood from her snout and squared up to him, she was smaller then him but she had more confidence and personality then he would ever have 'little what Sato? she doesnt want to mate with you, none of us females do and just because you kicked out Kissima doesnt mean we belong to you, does it? and you know that, we belong to ourselves now, that was one of my mothers rules, so what am I then a little...?' Craayma looked up from her best friend to Sato and anger surged through her, if he touched her she would attack him, she knew it. 'Little princess, thats what you are Vitani, a spoilt little brat!' Sato growled 'princess? I havent been called that in a while, spoilt on the other hand i can argue, you call living out here in this hell hole being spoilt and just because I look out for my friends I'm a brat!? you are a ignorant bastard Sato!' Sato almost looked shocked and swiped Vitani across the face, claws out, a grunt came from Vitani as she hit the ground, Craayma growled and launched herself at Sato, swiping him around the face and once on the stomach before going to her friend, Sato just looked at them both and smiled. 'Cray, I'm ok, just help me up will you' Vitani stretched and put a paw to her face, wiping away the blood. Vitani walked away and Craayma followed but gave Sato one last look of hate before leaving only to see a small sly smile creep along his smug face.

Craayma licked her friends face when they reached Craayma's cave 'Craayma, stop you are being like my mother!' Vitani playfully swiped her, 'look I need to get home Cray to ummm... recover from my oh so terrible injuries!' Vitani said it in a sarcastic way that never failed to make Craayma laugh, 'be careful, Sato looked pretty pissed at you' 'I'm a big girl!' and she walked off to the other side of the outlands. Craayma looked around her and realised how much she hated this place, the darkness of the sky, the shadows that blanketed the walls, the rockyness of the terrain, the dead or dying plants and the insects that scuttled everywhere and anywhere. She felt a great pressure on her head and then fell into blackness. When her eyes opened she was in Sato's cave, him next to her and blocking her escape, 'monster!' she spat, 'look Craayma calm down, I havent done anything, I just want to talk' he seemed genuine so she sat down and nodded, she wasnt going to show no emotion to him. 'great, look if I didnt know you out you wouldnt of came here by your own will, I just wanted to put a proposal on the table here, if you dont mate with me, I will mate with another female, maybe Vitani....' she gulped and he smiled, knowing his plan was going to work. 'if you do mate with me, I will let you and Vitani live and will not harm her again and I will raise the cub' Craayma shook her head 'I will not mate with you, I will not let you harm Vitani!' she stepped pass him, thinking she was going to to exit the cave but a group of lions blocked he exit and roared, she stepped back and Sato gripped her by the neck and walked around to her front, he ran his paw down from her neck to her chin 'oh yeah, if you try to exit, they will kill you' Craayma looked around and backed out of his grasp, he roared, the lions by the exit ran off and Craayma stood back even more, a tear ran down her cheek. 'Sato, please....' she pleaded with him and looked him in the eyes, she hadnt done this for a while and she remembered why, they looked like black pits. He strolled over to her and laughed, he put front paw to her cheek and licked her nose, he put his paw around to the back of her neck and dug his claws in. She cried in pain and fell to the floor. 'Dont make it easy Craayma, wheres the fun!' he laughed and she tried to get up only to be pushed back down my Sato who was now laying on top of her, she shuffled forward but he dug his claws into her thighs and licked the bottom of her tail as he lifted up her hindquaters with his paws, she cried out and tried to move forward but  he then raped her, 'I knew I would get my way Craayma!' she cried 'cry again and I will kill you!' she stopped dead as the torture went on, she felt the pain but couldnt cry out, and she knew he was enjoying her as she could feel his hot breath on her neck.

'Thoro, now is no time to be playing hide and seek!' Kovo looked around at the pridelands and sighed, the cubs had been missing ever since the start of the night, the stars were now out and glinting. 'Thoro, Luka, Tasha come on' Kovo sat down and looked around him, he felt a slight vibration on the floor and pinned his ears back and squinted, ready to attack if anything abushes him, 'Tasha, run!' he looked up for the cubs, 'Kovo!' he could hear his name being called out so he ran towards it, he saw Tasha running followed by Luka, 'wheres Thoro?' he asked as the cubs stopped dead in front of him 'theres a big lion Kovo!' 'go back home now!' Kovo roared, allerting the Simba that he had found the cubs and that Simba should come to find him. Kovo picked up Tasha and told Luka to get on his back, 'grip Luka!' Luka clawed into Kovo's back and Kovo ran, trying to ignore the slight pain that was in his shoulder blades, Simba met him half way, Kovo dropped off Tasha and Luka 'Wheres Thoro?' Simba asked looking worried, 'they said there was a big lion, thought I would get these to saftety before putting them back in danger, I am going back now' Kovo ran without getting an opinion off Simba, he felt the small rocks under his feet and the long grass brush past him. He stopped and prowled down as he saw a light unfamiliar lioness looking up a tree, 'Kovo!' he could hear Thoro's voice, he looked up in the tree and Thoro was hanging on to a branch, Kovo jumped on the lioness and growled, he pinned her down and looked into her face 'do not come to the pridelands and hurt our cubs, you outsider!' Thoro jumped down and Kovo roared again, hoping Simba would hear it. 'Kovo....' the lioness looked into Kovo's eyes 'Craayma?' he loosened his firm on her and smiled slightly, she nodded and he got off her 'I havent seen you in years, your happy here then Kovo, being a pridelander, with Kiara?' Kovo nodded sadly, 'yes Craayma I am, I am the prince after all, you on the other hand need to leave before Simba comes' Kovo shoved her 'we havent spoken for years and you shove me away, what a nice lion you are!' she tried to say it sarcastically but there was a sad undertone in her voice and Kovo noticed ''Craayma, are you ok?' Kovo asked 'Kovo where are you?' Simba's voice pierced through his question, Thoro ran towards the voice of his king. 'Oh Kovo, I have missed you' she stepped closer and licked his cheek, knowing that Kovo would do nothing like Sato, he licked her back and she walked off, brushing her back and tail under his chin as she left. 'Kovo!' Simba shouted again, 'here Simba!' Kovo called and looked to see if Craayma was out of site, Simba came through the clearing 'Kovo, we need to get home, it will be dark soon ...' a twig snapping broke his words and he looked to the direction to see two eyes looking back at him, 'Show yourself!' he growled, Craayma stepped out, 'Simba, she attacked me' Kovo had only then noticed a small cut on Thoro's back, a claw mark. Simba stepped over to her 'you Outsiders have no buisness here' Craayma looked up from the floor 'neither do you Pridelanders, this should of been our land if it wasnt for that stupid Mufassa we would of all lived together but he had to go and get killed by his own brother!' Simba slapped her around the face and growled, he left a scratch across her eyes and they walked off, Kovo looked back but then shook his head and carried on walking 'Kiara's worried Kovo, its nearly dark, lets go home'
