It was a fresh morning. The sun was barely born, and Golan was already awake, running through the gardens of the house excitedly, looking for some little animal to hunt.
Trusty lay near the door of the house, watching his puppy. Of course, Trusty did not want to be awake this time. It was about 6:30 in the morning. The owners of Trusty and Golan were asleep and did not seem to hear the barking of the young puppy. A few minutes later, loyal decided to put a stop on Golan, who was playing with a mouse.
- Son, it's morning, you have to sleep. You can play when you wake up. - Trusty said, his voice weary.
- Dad, come play with me! - Golan said, excited, still chasing the mouse, who fled desperately.
- I'm too old to run around. - Trusty dropped to the floor. - I have to rest.
- But I do not want to rest, daddy! - The young dog now watched a bird that was nestling in his nest.
Trusty looked thoughtfully to his pup.
But what is Trusty thinking?
-flashback-
- The name, dear. What can be the name? - Trusty said, happy, for the puppy's mother.
- Golan. What do you think? - She said excitedly.
- It's a beautiful name! - Trusty said with an excited bark.
- Now, dear .. promise me you'll take good care of him, okay?
- Yes. I promise. I promise, my dear.
-end of the flashback-
Trusty was sleeping when he was awakened by Golan.
- Uncle Jock! - Golan exclaimed, seeing Jock walking around the boy happy.
- How are you, Golan, my dear little dog? - Jock said, by messing up the Golan. -Oh, and here is my old storyteller, right, Trusty? - Jock laughed, noting Trusty.
- How are you, Jock? - Trusty said, not very excited.
- I guess I'm fine .. - Jock and Trusty began talking. Neither realized that the Golanwas running into the street, and running around freely.
Golan was running around until he was lost.
He walked some more, and ended up in one of the places that nobody ever wanted to go: The alley of Reggie.
And there was Reggie, sleeping carefree.
Golan was desperate. There was no turning back.
"I have to go through it, or I'll die anyway", Golan thinked.
Golan passed beside him, but tripped over his foot, waking him up.
