Another sleepless night for zasha.She lied down staring out of her den.she looked backk at her friends who were all a sleep."Mabey,i should take a walk and get some freash air."she said to her self.she got up and walked out the opening.She looked up at the moon and the stars.She took a deep breath and walked to a pond.She stuck her tounge in the cool refreshing water.Then heared a growl,a low powerful growl,a moutainlion!
It sprung out of the tall grass to attack zasha.She rolled out of the way just in time and the lion hit it's jaw on the ground.It got up and shook it's head.It made another lunge at Zasha,moving too late It was able to grab her tail.She could'nt help but yelping.It picked her up by her tail and swung her over.Her tail was bleeding badly.She got back up,and bowed her head.She growled and made a lunge at the lion.She nailed it!It's sholder was poring with blood.It flug her off.She tried to leap back to attack It's shoulder,but it moved and her jaws clamped around it's ear.It yanked it's head away and zasha acidentaly tore half of it's ear off.It reared back up on it's back legs and let out a blood herdaling scream.Zasha spit out the torn ear.It pounced on her and pinned her to the ground.It took a lunge at her throught but she kicked it and it rolled over.Zasha tried to make a break for it but It grabbed her front leg and it cracked!Zasha let out a cry off pain.
MEANWHILE:Angel sprung up out of her sleep.She ran over to Shade {Zasha's mate} and yelled in his ear."Shade get up Zashas in trobble!"Shade hopped up and they sprang to the door.They ran as fast as there feet could carry them.Angel was amazed at Shade's speed,normaly he was not nearlly as fast as her but he was today.
When Angel and Shade arrived the mointain lion had Zasha pinned down lunging at her throught but she kept moving her head left and right doging it's jaws.Angel lunged straigt at the lion nocking it over and tearing at it's throat.Shade ran to Zasha scared to see why she wasn't getting up."Are you okay?!?"He said looking for wounds."I- I'm fine its just my leg ...I think it's broken."she said looking trustfuly in his eyes.He lied beside her looking at her leg.Angel came back with a bleeding leg." OH,ANGEL ARE YOU OKAY?"Zasha asked.angel looked down at her leg."Oh,its just a scrach most of the blood on me is the lion's anyway."She said smiling."Angel,how can we get Zasha pack home?"Angel asked."I could carry her on my back."Shade said.Angel lifted her onto shade's back.
They walked into there den.Angel carfully helped Zasha onto her bed of straw.Shade lied right beside her."In the morning I'll go get Jax".Angel said.Zasha fell right to sleep.Shade got up and dug a small shallow hole,near Zasha."What are you doing?"Angel asked."Remeber thet bucket we found when we went to the lake?"Shade asked."UH,yeah."Angel answered."Go fill it up with water and bring it back."he said.Angel had a confused look on his face,but she took the bucket in her teeth and later came back with it filled."Dump it in the hole i dug,that was she won't have to walk to the pond to get water."Shade told her.Angel under stood now,they needed to make it to were she didn't have to move much to get what she needed.
The next morning when Zasha woke up a husky was looking over her leg."Is it broken jax?"Zasha asked."Yeah,try not to move it much."he said.He walked out of the den.Zasha saw a rat lieing beside her.It was dead and had teeth marks on it so somone killed it for her.She gobbeled it down.Zasha started to get up."Hey,jax said you need a lot of rest,you need to lie back down." a voise said."I'ts just a broken leg."she answered.Angel walked in front of her.she lied back down.
A few days later as they all sat in the den 2 men came in."Hey those dogs don't have collors!Lets get them!"one man said to the other."Are you sure those are dogs?"the other man asked."Sure."he said and they lifted angel into a cage and loaded it into the back of a truck.Shade sprung at the men and bit one."OUCH!Grab that mutt!"he hollored.Then shade was also laoded into the truck."What about that one?"one man said pointing to Zasha."She looks sick and weak,she probably won't last the night."He told the other man and they drove off the truck."Oh,no!This is my falut."Zasha told her self."I should have fought them!"then she looked down at her leg."I'm useless like this."she said.then a russeling came from outside.
A white and light silver female wolf walked in."Are you okay,I saw the dog cacthers come in here,those Idiots don't know a bee from a bear much less a wolf from a dog."She said smiling."They took my best friend and my mate."Zasha said.The female wolf looked at Zasha's leg."Did they do that to you?"she asked."No, a mointainlion did."Zasha replyed."Well my name is avalanch and I'll help you rescue them!"She said."That would be great."Zasha said."Can you walk on that?"Avalanch asked looking at her leg."Sure I can!"She replyed.Zasha stood up and almost fell over."It dosen't hurt that bad."she lied.
The two ran off into town.Zasha coundn't run as fast as she could without her leg like that but Avalanch wasn't that fast and they were the same speed."I told you my name what's yours?"Avalanch asked."I'm Zasha."She replyed.Soon they araived at the dog pound."I'm not that fast or strong,but I'm smart and I'll use my claws to unhook the door hinges."Avalanch said."I'll take down any people or theats we come across."Zasha said.They crouched down low and went up to the door then a doberman jwith a spiked collor jumped out in front of them."ANY DOG WITHOUT A COLLOR IS A WILD UNTAMMED ONE!"He yelled."BUT THATS WHAT MAKES US TOUGH!"Zasha said and lunged at the doberman.She bit his back leg and held on.Avalanch took a twig a cracked it in her jaws.A loud snapping sound ecoed and the foolish doberman thought his leg was broken."OOOOOUCH!" he yelled and ran off.
Zasha looked at her leg."It feels a little beter."She said."C'mon lets rescue your friends."Avalanch said.She stuck out a claw and shracthed the metal.IT BROKE!Zasha headbutted it and it fell into the pound."HEY!"a voise yelled.the two wolves turned around to see a man with a base ball bat.He through the bat and the two friends ran off into the hallway where all the cges were,stacked on top of each other."I'll get to work."Avalanch said.She started to break the hinges on a cage when a loud sound came."I'TS THE PEOPLE!"Zasha shouted.they were running after them.Avalanch and Zasha started bucking and Clawing the cages as fast as they could."RUN!THE DOORS OPEN RUN!"they shouted at the dogs in the cage.They ran poring out the door slowing down the people down.Zasha unhooked a cage a Shade walked out."RUN SHADE THE DOORS OPEN!"Zasha yelled."ZASHA,THEY TOOK ANGEL IN A ROOM IN THE BACK TO KILL HER!"Shade screamed.Zasha could bearly make out what he was saying because of all the shouting and barking but she under stood him."GET OUT OF HER I'LL SAVE HER!"Zasha told him.He reluctantly ran out the door with the others.
Zasha left Avalanch freeing the other dogs and ran to a door in the back off the pound.she busted it down and looked up.Angel was On a tabel tied down with a muzzel around her mouth.An old man looked at her holding a shaot in his hand.Angel growled but it was muffeled by the muzzel.Zasha leaped on the table nocking the man over.She nawed of the muzzel.The man stood right behind Zasha with the shot.Angel bit his arm and it started to bleed.He ran over to the sink and looked at his arm.Zasha was helping angel out of the chains.The man heared them as they leaped off the table.He grabbed a rifle that was on the counter and shot it at them as they were leaving but it missed and hit the wall.He chased them as they ran out of the door.
they started getting into the woods and the man was still chasing them."He is going to follow us to are den!"angel yelled."Then don't lead him to the den fallow me."Zasha said.they ran by the pond where Zasha got her broken leg.They sat in the long grass as the man took aim."He IS GOING TO KILL US!"Angel yelled "wait for it...wait for it...Jump!"Zasha Shouted.A huge moutian lion leaped at them and missed them and hit the man.The ran in the darkness of night all the way home.
