World of Wolves

By Ahura Werewolf

We can sense the changes in the air.

Gaia is growning under our paws.

She ails from her creation.

Man.

We cry aloud into the midnight air.

Looking at the bright silver moon over our heads.

I wonder why does man consume everything around him?

Doesn't he realize that the Mother is dying from his greed.

We ourselves aren't safe from him.

With is weapons he blasts the life from our bodies.

Trying to wipe us out.

What is a wolf to do.

We are few and they are many.

I am afraid we are in a battle we cannot win.

With every passing year their are more humans born.

With each one born we are pushed closer to the void.

What drives man to destroy his brethren of fur and feather.

And what drives him to destroy himself.

Are they so blind not to see the error of their ways.

Or do they choose not to look.

I wish I could tell them what they are doing is wrong.

They pollute the air we breath and the water we drink.

Tear down entire forests and even contaminate the oceans.

It makes me sad that they do this I wish they would stop.

I bear them no ill will.

I just wish to understand them.

Maybe then they will understand us.

For now however this is only a dream.

As we live in the world of Man.
