Balto was in the middle of a nightmare, he was running on ice, following a raven. He didn't know where he was going until he saw a wolf pack. He assumed he should help them until he heard ''BALTO WAKE UP'', he then found him-self wide awake and all wet. "What, What's the matter'' ''The matter is you're having sad dream again'', said Boris, holding Balto's water bowl which Balto assumed he was splashed with. In return Balto shook off all the water splashing Boris. ''So what if I was, It is just a dream'', said Balto yawning. ''Ha this 'just a dream' is keeping from decent dream, it means something'' ''Oh I hate it when you get dramatic'' ''How else to reach you''. ''Instead of lecturing me about dreams, do want to come with me, I have to check on Jenna'', Balto said jumping off his boat. ''Of course I come I'm not finished nagging you yet!'', Boris yelled after Balto.

''If there is raven in your dreams why not pickled herring'', Boris asked, ''Because herring would be in your dreams'' Balto replied facetiously, ''Exactly raven and wolf have only meaning to you, hey look our totem pole there is raven and wolf!'' Boris said. ''Calm down Boris there is also a fox, wolverine, bear--''oy such scary creatures and should be far away from me'' Boris interupted. ''Look Boris, all I know is that the pole marks the shortcut to Jenna's and that's good enough for me'', Balto said. ''Oh boy stubborn ugh'' Boris said. When they both walked into the town of Nome, they heard small barking, Just then a small terrier rammed into Balto. ''BRRRRGH oh there you are, I've been sniffing all over for ye''. The terrirt started barking like crazy. ''Would stop with the bouncing and make with the talking I'm getting dizzy'', Boris said. The terrier turned to Balto ''The stork has landed, I repeat the stork has landed''. Balto finally realized what the terrier meant ''Jenna, JENNA'' he ran to Rosie's house. Boris was dumb-founded ''What stork I thought we were talking about raven'' then it hit him ''Oh boy THAT stork, IM COMING BALTO''. At Rosie's house was Jenna and Balto looking at there newborn six puppies. ''Oh Jenna there so beautiful, just like you'' Balto said to Jenna nuzzling her nose. Then they saw a grey pup crawling over her sibling to get milk from Jenna. ''And you'', Jenna said. Boris walked in ''Look at me I'm an uncle''. Balto asked '' what should we name them'' I already got names, the grey will be Aleu'' ''Okay ''The red faced one will be Felice'' ''Perfect'' ''the one with the white muzzle with be Kodi, Alue's twin will be Dingo, Saba will be Kodi's twin, and the last one is Mina'', Jenna said. ''All such beautiful names Jenna, I love you'' ''I love you too Balto''.

A few weeks passed by with Balto and Jenna being happy parents, but little did Balto now the day after tomorrow with be the pup's adoption day. That night Balto was having another nightmare, this time the raven was leading him and the wolf pack until he saw another dog it called ''Balto'' Balto realized the voice ''Jenna'' he ran as fast as he could, but then he and the raven where about to collide, until he woke with a loud gasp. He was breathing laborously and fell to the ground, ''Ugh, oh I haven't had that dream for a while''. Then he heard ''BALTO'', it was Jenna calling from the beach on the side of the beach from his boat. He went outside still very sleepy. ''Good morning sleepy head, please tell me you didn't forget about watching the pup's while Rosie and I go to her freinds house'' ''What me forget never-yawn-no''. Jenna noticed the bags under Balto's eyes. ''Balto you look so tired what's wrong''. Before she could say another word he fell to the floor out cold. The pups woke him up and rolling him over playfully. He was now wide awake ''Hey pups good to see you too''. ''Puppies come to uncle Boris'' Boris said with hs wings wide open. ''UNCLE BORIS, UNCLE BORIS'' the pups and yelled in unison. Boris was never expecting so much biting and playful pushing. 'Say why dont they spend the night with me and then tomorrow we can all go on a picnic'' asked Balto. Jenna replied ''I guess your sleeping messed you up huh, tomorrow is when our puppies are adopted''. Balto frowned at what he just heard, ''Tomorrow, but Jenna they're only eight weeks old, I mean what's the hurry'', said Balto. ''I know how you feel Balto'', Jenna said while nuzzling him trying to cheer him up. '' I got to go to Rosie's, enjoy them Balto, oh and watch out they're teething'', Jenna warned. ''NO KIDDING'', Boris yelled replying to Jenna's last statement. Balto laughed, ''Come on now Uncle Boris isnt a chew toy'', Balto scolded softly. Five pups ran and started to wrestle each other, Aleu how ever was still nawing on Boris' leg ''Woah take it easy there tiger'' Balto said while picking up by her scruff and pryed her away from Boris. Aleu was obviuosly enjoying her escort and laughed. She was finally put down and ran off to her siblings.

''Strange her brother's and sister's look just like dogs'' Boris stated ''Yet Aleu looks like'' Balto knew where this was going ''A dog Aleu looks like a dog too'' ''Really because I see Aleu looks more wolf then father'' ''Look Boris I just don't want her to be different'' ''But she is different and read the difference'' ''Come on being different is painful. ''No one knows that better than me, you know how some of the dogs still tease me because I'm half wolf, Aleu may look pure wolf but she is going to be all dog'', Before Balto could say another word he saw standing on a post and she let out a howl. Balto now just stood there in shock and a wide open mouth. Boris replied sarcasticly ''I wouldn't count on it''. Balto in return growled.

The next day was adoption day. Jenna woke with the pups. She and the pups went to wake up Balto. ''Balto wake up'', said Jenna. All the pups said in unison ''PAPA WAKE UP'' Balto immdiately got up. Later in the morning the pups were placed in a box that had a sign that said 'Free Pups To Good Homes'. Aleu still continued to howl, all the others were in the corner covering their ears from Aleu's howl. Jenna finally stepped in ''Aleu honey, please dont howl like that, it's bothering you brothers and sisters''. ''Oh sorry Mama'' Aleu flattened her ears ''It just happenes when I'm excited''. She said with joy. Then Dingo pounced her '' Im excited too, I can't wait to get a human and chew their on their clothe's especially socks hahaha'' Aleu then returned his pounce. Saba went to Balto and asked '' Papa are you going to get a human too?'' She asked with glee. Balto petted her head with his paw. ''Naaah you see humans like cute little pups like you not old grizzly grown ups like me'' Before Balto could say another word to Saba a little boy came to the pups. ''These are Rosie's puppies, Jenna had 'em, I like this one'' He picked up Dingo. Jenna said '' I know that human he will be a good boy for Dingo''. Balto just smilied. Then 3 little girls came to the box. All the pups tried to look their cutest, all the three girls took Felice, Saba and Mina. Later the last two remaining pups were Kodi and Aleu. They were both playfully rough housing, by accident Kodi bit Aleu's ear. Aleu let out a yelp, and rubbed her ear with her paw to soothe the sting. Kodi licked her ear to say Im sorry. Aleu smiled and returned the lick. Then another little boy came to the box. Kodi and Aleu tried to look their cutest. Finally the boy picked up Kodi. Aleu and Kodi waved each other goodbye. Aleu was now alone.

The rest of the day went by fast. ''It's been a long day Jenna, lets go home'', Balto said with a yawn. ''But we can't, not until a human adopts Aleu'' Jenna said. ''Jenna lets just face it, Aleu looks more wolf than me, no human will ever want her''. Jenna couldn't believe what she was hearing, she never thought Balto would sink this low. ''How can you say that, you're just going to loose faith in your own daughter, it's not true, we'll have to keep trying''.

1 year later

Aleu was all grown up into a beautiful wolf-dog. She still lived with Balto on his boat. She always wondered why she was never adopted. She didn't even ask why. She wasn't even told why. Is there a terrible secret she doesn't know? Kodi walked up the gang plank and greeted Balto and Aleu. ''Hey Aleu, me and Felice are trying for the mail team, you want to join us?'' he asked. ''Papa can I go with Kodi'', Aleu asked. ''Okay go ahead, Kodi watch out for her please''. ''Dont worry dad I have the eyes of an eagle'', Kodi said reasuringly. And they were off.

Alot of cold stares were shot Aleu from humans. ''Kodi, why are they staring at me like that?'' she asked. '' I dont know, maybe they're all just in a bad mood or something''. He said. They arrived at the starting line to see whos fast enough for the mail team. When the musher saw Aleu he kicked snow at her. ''Get out of here wolf''. What did he just call me, I'm not a wolf I'm a purebred husky, am I. She ran away back to Balto's boat. ''Aleu wait come back'', Kodi yelled after her. She just kept on running.

At Balto's boat, ''Papa'', she yelled. ''Oh my gosh Aleu whats wrong'', Balto asked worried. ''Okay me and Kodi were walking in town to the race, people were giving cold stares, and this man kicked snow at me and called me a wolf, Papa I'm not a wolf am I?''. Balto knew this day would come. ''Aleu your mother is a pure bred husky, but I, I'm the one who is part wolf''. Aleu was now shocked. ''Wait a minute you mean I'm part wolf and you never told me, what about Kodi and the others, they probably have wolf in them too, why did humans want them?'', Aleu asked furiously. Balto finally came clean. ''Because they dont look it, and you do''. ''I can't believe you, don't ever talk to me AGAIN'', she yelled and ran off. ''Aleu, Aleu come back''. ''Leave me alone''.

''Aleu, Aleu come back'', Balto yelled as Aleu jumped of the boat and ran off. ''Leave me alone'', she yelled back.

Aleu was still running, she didn't know where she was going, but right now she didn't care. Why did he keep me from this so long, and Kodi, he probably knew I don't care anymore, she thought to herself. Then a raven flew over her. ''My freind you shouldn't have ran away from home you now put your own life in danger'', the raven said. ''Who are you'', Aleu asked. The raven then flew off. ''WAIT come back'', Aleu yelled.

The next morning he went to Kodi's new home to tell him Aleu ran away. ''What, why did she run away?''. ''Because I told her.... Kodi, you Aleu and your brother and sisters are part wolf''. Balto said. ''But aren't you and Mom purebred huskies?'', Kodi asked. ''Your mother is purebred but I'm the one who is... part wolf. Your grandmother was a wolf who had pups with a husky''. ''What happened to her'', Kodi asked. ''I accidentley got seperated from her when I was a pup. But I do remeber she was white a snow, and had this warm voice that made me feel safe. Then Boris took me in, well after being raised by a goose, I wonder why I don't honk instead of bark''. Kodi laughed at Balto's last sentance. ''Come on Kodi lets find your sister''.

''ALEU DID WHAT'', yelled Jenna. ''She ran off because I told her she was part wolf. ''I have to come with you'', Jenna said determindly. ''No Jenna, this is something me Kodi, and Aleu have to work out together, but don't worry I find her''. Jenna started to cry, she nuzzled Balto. ''Bring her back'', she said while digging her nose into his fur.

''What am I doing, I am running away but I don't know where I'm going''. Aleu was still in the cave. What have I done, I just got mad over being part wolf, but then again that musher kicked snow at me--- OH MY GOD Aleu grow up boo hoo you're part wolf, just go back to Papa and say you're sorry and you accept your heritage, she fought with her self. What about Kodi, I miss him, Dingo, Felice, Mina, Saba, that's it Im going back, but I'm going to be in an ass-load of trouble, she thought to her self. For get about getting into trouble, finding my family.

Balto and Kodi were sniffing for Aleu. ''It's getting late we should go to sleep'', Balto said ''Yeah my nose is all stuffed now from that smelling'', Kodi said with a yawn.  My sister I miss you, Kodi thought to himself. Balto and Kodi slept throught the night, until Kodi heard something. ''Dad get up we have to go'', Kodi said. ''Five more minutes Boris'', Balto said still obviously sleeping. Kodi then heard a loud roar. ''DAD GET UP'', Kodi screamed. Balto got up and saw a grizzly bear standing right over him. ''Kodi run'', Balto said. Kodi did as he was told and ran behind a bush. Balto tried to outrun the bear but he couldnt. The bear pinned him down. Balto was loosing his breathe. Kodi couldn't stand to see Balto like this so he ran and jumped on the bear's back and bit his neck. The roared in pain. Kodi got Balto up and they both ran for their lives. They finally lost the bear.

Aleu was walking near a water fall. She then a figure, wolf like figure. It then walked towards her. Her tail was between her legs. ''H..hello'', said Aleu. ''Hello'', said the wolf back. The wolf seemed sort of old. ''My name is Nava, but you my fellow wolf can call me Nava'' ''Hello my name is Aleu, and by the way I'm NOT a wolf. I am half husky too'', Aleu tried to say even though she hated talking talking about her herritage. ''My apologies miss, you look sort of tired, do you want to come back with me we have alot of shelter'', Nava asked politley. Aleu thought for a moment Huh he seems nice should I trust him, what can he really do to me anyway he looks sort of old ''Yes thank you''. Aleu then followed Nava.

''Dad I think I got Aleu's sent'', Kodi said. ''Are you sure Kodi, because last time you 'had Aleu's sent' it was a rabbit'' ''Yes I'm sure, follow me''. This time his nose was correct, finally. Kodi then saw Aleu sleeping. While he was walking towards her he saw wolves. What the hell could she be doing in a wolf pack, Kodi thought to himself. ''Aleu wake up, it's me Kodi''. She woke up the minute she saw Kodi, she pounced on him and hugges him so tightley. ''Im so sorry, I shouldn't have ran away hows Dingo, Felice, and Saba and Mina?'' She asked while hugging Kodi still. Balto was waiting for his hug. She then finally hugged Balto and cried her eyes out. ''Papa I'm sorry I was a stupid brat, I except who I am''. ''ssssh It's okay Aleu I forgive you'' Balto said. Kodi answered Aleu's question. ''They're doing fine, they really miss you'', he said. Nava stood on a rock to tell an announcement to his pack. ''My fellow wolves, we must move on for the great water is moving away from our land''. A lot of gasps came from the pack of wolves. But one didn't gasp he just growled. ''Huh this old fool just thinks we should leave our land we grew up on just for moving water''. ''How dare you say that Nava has led us well'', said another wolf. Niju in return growled. ''Stop let him speak he has a right''. Nava said with authority. ''I think we should just stay here, we will survive by..... stealing from other clans''. Aleu butted in ''Steal from others that's not right''. ''You keep your mouth shut missy'', Niju growled. ''Hey dont talk to my sister like that'', Kodi growled. ''What are you going to do about it little puppy'', Niju said making a baby voice. Kodi walked up to Niju. ''This'', Kodi then gave Niju a good ol paw to the face. Niju let out an evil laugh. ''Feel better little puppy'', Niju asked. Kodi then let out a simple ''Yes I do''. The other wolves laughed a little bit. Niju on the other hand said '' Hahaha, good''. He then returned the slap. ''So do I''. Then they both fought. Balto then broke it up. ''PEACE'' yelled Nava. The two stopped fighting. ''Niju please continue your explanation''. ''There is a right, our right to survive, so I Niju say Nava must step down and let a real leader take his place''. ''I will step down Niju when a true leader takes my place''. Niju has now heard enough. He lunged for Nava and pinned him down. ''STOP'', Aleu yelled. ''You, I will teach you to mind your place''. Aleu was now furious. ''My place''. She let out a war cry and attacked Niju. She finally pinned him down. ''I think I know my place and it aint here, Kodi, Papa let's go''. Kodi and Balto followed her.

Aleu, Balto, and Kodi were on their way home until they ran into the raven. ''WHO ARE YOU'', Balto and Aleu asked loudly. "I am going to tell you that you shouldn't have left that wolf pack, for they are in grave danger''. ''But their problem isn't ours, why can't we just go home'', Balto asked. ''Because my son, they need help'', said the raven. ''Did you just call me your son?''. Balto asked confused. The raven smiled and transformed into a whitewolf. ''Aniu your my mother?''

''My son, you shouldn't have left that wolf pack, for they are now in mortal danger'', said the Raven. ''Did you just call me your son'', Balto asked. The raven smiled and transformed into a white wolf. ''Aniu you're my mother?'', Balto asked.

Aniu then smiled again. ''Yes, it has been a long time since I've seen you again my son'', she said as she and Balto hugged. ''Who are these two might I ask'', asked Aniu while looking at Kodi and Aleu. ''This is my son and daughter; Aleu and Kodi'', said Balto. ''It is a pleasure to finally meet you, grandma'', said Kodi. Aniu just smiled. ''Same here'', said Aleu. Aniu still just smiled. ''So back to the wolf pack why should we help them'', Kodi asked. ''Because, that pack is my old pack, and Nava my brother, is growing old, I can't trust Niju to take his place, so I need a true leader  to take his place'', said Aniu. ''I need some one who is young, has a wild spirit, and can sometimes take a punch'', said Aniu again. Then Balto, Kodi, and Aniu looked at Aleu. ''Why are you staring at me?'', she asked. ''Because Aleu, out of all our other siblings, you were the pretty wild one, and you could sure take a beating very well from Dingo, and he is the eldest'', said Kodi. ''You've got to be kidding, I thought I just got over this wolf thing, I just wanna go home'', Aleu said.

Then Kodi, Aleu and Balto walked back to the pack. ''You again, what do you want, oh hello little puppy, I have a little something for you'', Niju said as he slapped Kodi again. Okay really butt-face, you wanna slap me again, and I'm not a little damn puppy anymore, I was just the youngest, Kodi thought to himself. ''You wanna go whisker face?'', said Kodi as he shoved Niju. ''Listen buddy, leave my brother alone, he's not a 'little puppy', only me and my other siblings can pick on him, so for the last time back off'', said Aleu growling. Kodi smiled at Aleu and hugged her. ''Awww sibling love'', said Niju pretending to cry. He then punched Kodi in the face and drew blood. ''KODI'', Balto yelled. Then Aleu and Balto attacked Niju. ''What is your problem ass-face'', Aleu said. ''I wan't to be leader instead of that old mistake of a wolf'', complained Niju. ''So you take your anger out on my little brother, you pick on people smaller than you, you're not a real wolf'', said Aleu.

Aleu then stood on a rock and spoke to the pack. ''A real wolf cares for everyone around him or her, they help everyone, they're free to show they're true emotion'', Aleu said with pride. Whoah how did I know all that, maybe it's in my blood, I think I really know where I belong now, she thought to herself.

''Spoken like a true leader'', said Aniu. ''Papa I've been thinking and I really know where I belong now, I'm going to be this wolf pack's new leader'', Aleu said boldy.

''Are you sure'', asked Kodi close to tears. Aleu hugged him and said,'' Hey it's okay, remember, you're always and forever my best little brother ever, don't listen to that jerk Niju, you will always be my little puppy'', she said. Kodi cried a little and hugged her for the last time. Aleu turned to Balto,'' you know it may be, that we will never meet again, in this life time, so I wanna say before we part, so much of me is made of what I've learned from you, you'll be with me like a paw-print on my heart'', she recited. Balto then started to cry. Am I sure I wanna do this, if it hurts the people I love, but this wolf pack needs, I will promise Papa we WILL see each other again, she thought to herself. ''I promise Papa we will see each other again, I promise''. The father and daughter hugged for the last time. Aleu then cried. ''Tell mom I finally found my home'', she said and smiled.

Balto and Kodi walked into Nome, while still in tears. Balto went to tell Jenna the news, while Kodi went to tell his other five siblings.

Kodi went to Dingo's house. He scratched the door. Dingo came out the doggy door. ''Hey Dingo'', Kodi said trying to hold back tears. ''Hey whats wrong'', said Dingo, with a concerned look on his face. ''It's about our sister---''Which one, who hurt her, I kill them'', Dingo interupted, while running down the porch. ''Dingo it's Aleu, no one hurt her'', Kodi said. ''Dad and I found her but she stayed and is now a leader of a wolf pack'', said Kodi, he started to cry again. Dingo hugged his little brother. ''It's okay, she's old enough to fend for herself, she is probably enjoying herself right now'', said Dingo. ''You think so?'', said Kodi. ''I know so'', said Dingo as he winked. Kodi went to tell the others, it went through, but not many dry eyes.

Balto walked up to Jenna's porch and scratched her door. Jenna came out her doggy door. ''Oh Balto you're back, I was so worried about you'', she said as she nuzzled him. ''Where's Aleu'', she asked. ''Umm, yeah about that, she finally found her home, she is now a leader of my mother's wolf pack'', he said. ''Well I hope she does well, she was always the wild one'', Jenna said.

Aleu thought to herself. I've heard it said that people come into our lives, for a reason, bringing somwthing we can learn, and we're lead to those who help us most to grow, if we let them, and we help them in return, well I don't know if I believe that's true, but I know I'm who I am today because I knew you, she was referring her thoughts Balto, and Aniu. Balto could hear thoughts. Like a ship blown from it's morring, by a wind off the sea, like a see dropped by a skybird in a distant wood, who can if we been changed for the better, but because I knew you, we have been changed for good', Balto returned his thoughts. Aleu could hear his thoughts, and cried.

''Hey dad, I see a wolf coming towards your boat'', said Kodi. ''Yeah so do I'', said Dingo. The wolf like figure became clearer and Balto couldn't believe his eyes. ''Aleu is that you'', said Balto close to tears. Then Aleu just smiled. ''Hi Papa'', she said with happiness. They both nuzzled. She then saw Dingo. ''Woah, my how you got big, it's nice to see you again'', she said as she and Dingo hugged. Then she saw Kodi and was as happy as can be. ''Hey Kodi, I told you we will see each other again, you're not a puppy anymore are ya'', she said as she huged him. ''No I'm not, but still the youngest'', Kodi said with a smile. ''Which is why I can do this'', said Dingo as he rolled Kodi over and tickled him. ''Hey stop, please, Aleu help.'', said Kodi in bursts of laughter. ''Okay'', she said, and then joined Dingo and tickled Kodi's belly more, she had the happiest family ever, there were no real fights in her family at all.

Aleu went to Jenna's and scratched the front door. Jenna came out the doggy door. She immideatly cried when she saw Aleu. They both hugged. ''You returned why, what about your wolf pack'', she asked. ''Aniu decided to take care of them, she said ' Aleu you really belong at your real home'', Aleu said smiling.

Dingo and Kodi ran up to the top of a mountain. ''I love going up here and always seeing the sunrise, I wonder if mom and dad ever did this'', said Kodi. ''They did, they told me so'', said Dingo. They then heard a loud, growling-like sound. Then all of a sudden a dark silohuette flew over the 2 brothers. Kodi immidiatly went behind Dingo, a little scared. ''Dingo, what is that'', asked Kodi. ''I don't know, but who ever is driving that thing is horrible at it'', said Dingo. ''Kodi'' ''Yes'' ''You can let go of me now'' ''Sorry'' '' What happened to I'm not a puppy anymore, because remeber when we were little you would always cling on to me when you're scared'' ''Hey I can still have my moments'', he said.

Felice, Mina and Saba finally reunited with Aleu, '' Tell me, Aleu how cool was it to lead a wolf pack'', Saba asked with glee. ''It's nothing really, I just only lead them to a land with more water, then our grandmother Aniu lead them'', said Aleu. ''Aniu?'', asked Felice. Oh no, not again, Aleu thought. ''Umm guys, the reason I ran away was because, we're part wolf''. The three sisters just stood still. ''AWESOME'', they all said in unison. Well, that was unexpected,Aleu thought to herself. Then a black silohuette flew over the four sisters. They all screamed. ''Woah what is that thing'', asked Mina. ''It's lookes like some sort of flying machine'', said Aleu. Wasn't expecting that either.

Dingo and Kodi were racing on the beach. ''Wow Kodi you've got pretty fast'', said Dingo still running. Then Kodi by accident ran into a grey dog. ''Oh my gosh I'm so very sorry, I was racing my brother and---''Hey it's okay accidents happen'', the dog said in a rather sweet, gentle voice. Her voice immidiatly caught Kodi's attention, letting Dingo win. Hey what's gotten into him. oh he's talking to a girl, better leave him be, he thought and walked away smiling, my little brother aint little anymore.

''My name is Dusty by the way'', said the grey dog. Kodi just stared. ''Hello, you okay'', she asked. Kodi still just stared wide eyed. ''Forgive me sir''. She lightly hit him in the face. ''Oh sorry mam, my name's Kodi'', he finally said. ''Oh Kodi, that's a cool name'', said Dusty. ''Hey are you new, because I never saw you before'', he asked. ''As a matter of fact, I am, I was just walking to the post office, I hear Nome has a dog mail team'', she said. ''As a matter of fact they do'', said Kodi. ''Do you wanna come with me, we can both try out'', he asked. ''Sure'', said Dusty smiling. Her face, her voice, he fur, her everything, it's perfect, she's perfect, she's like an angel, Kodi thought, Then his tongue fell out, and he started panting. This is love

I wonder where Boris is, I haven't seen him in a while, Balto thought to himself. He walked up to his boat, and saw Boris mopping the deck like usual. ''Hey, Boris'', said Balto. ''Hey, you'll never believe what I just saw, a huge big bird flew over me, it had wings as long as a tree, and made a loud noise!'', he said with excitment. ''Hey it's stopping on the ground right now, I'm going to check it out'', said Balto.

Aleu, Mina, Saba, and Felice met with Dingo and Kodi. ''Yeah we saw it too, it was HUGE and made this loud roaring sound, it was louder than a wild eyed grizzley'', said Dingo. The six siblings went over to the machine and saw a man come out of the machine. He then saw the six dogs. ''Hello, a dog welcoming thing huh'', he said as he pet all of them behind their ears. Hey this guy knows how to scratch good, they all thought praticly in unison. They saw his name tag which read Duke. ''Why don't you guard my plane for a few minutes, I'll be back soon'', he said as he walked away. Huh very cool dogs, he thought to himself.

''So this thing is a plane'', said Dingo as he jumped into the pilots seat. ''Dingo, be careful, what if it suddenly takes off'', said Saba with worry. ''Don't worry'', Dingo said. By accident his tail hit the starting button. Uh oh not good. The plane made a very loud noise. Dingo immidiatley jumped out of the plane. ''Dingo what is wrong with you'', yelled Aleu trying to make a voice over the loud roaring. ''Yeah, I'm a dumb-ass'', said Dingo in disgust.

Duke heard his plane starting, he ran to the plane and turned it off. I guess dogs will be dogs, they do LOVE to explore, he thought to himself. Dingo walked up to Duke and whined a bit. ''It's okay boy, it happenes to me all the time'', Duke said as he pet behind Dingo's ears. I like this human, he is very forgiving.

''Hey Kodi, did you here we both made the sled team!'', Dusty said with glee. ''That's wonderful, when do we start?'', he asked. The musher said the mail run will be tomorrow. Then they saw walk into the post office. Hey that's the pilot we saw earlier, why is he at the post office.

''Gee Duke, you make a good argument, I think we should give it a try, tomorrow'', said the musher. Kodi heard them talking. ''It will be an honor working for the US mail Mr. Conor'', said Duke. What no way he's taking my job, that's it sibling meeting, Kodi thought to himself.

''Listen guys heres the thing Dusty and I---''Kodi and Dusty sitting in a tree L-I-C-K-I-N-G-'', sang Felice and Saba. ''Guy be nice, we should be happy that the youngest one found love first'', said Dingo. ''It's not love, just a very close freindship'', said Kodi. ''Kodi you know it's love, you can tell us, we're your siblings remember'', said Aleu smiling. ''Anyway, remember Duke, well he wants to steal my job, and work for the mail'', said Kodi with anger. ''Kodi did you see how fast that things flies, no wonder they want that plane to work for the mail team'', said Dingo. ''I guess you're right, they're holding a race tomorrow to see who's faster, the plane or the dogs, and I'm lead dog'', Kodi said with glee. All five congradualated him.

 The Next Morning,

Kodi, Dusty and their team were ready for the race. ''Attention everybody the us mail is now ready for travel'', while Conors was announcing the race Balto, Jenna, and Kodi's 5 other siblings nuzzled him good luck. The starting pistol blasted and they were off.

The mail team was running towards White Mountain, while Duke was already half way there. How did he do that, Kodi thought. ''Dont worry Kodi, the race is only half over'', said Dusty.

''I wonder how far they are right now'', said Aleu worridley. ''Hey don't worry sis, you know Kodi is old enough to take care of himself now'', said Dingo, hugging her to comfert her. ''I just hope he doesn't get hurt, you know how fragile he is'', said Aleu.

The wind was picking up. I can't see my nose in front of my face, thought Kodi. Duke was having problems too. His plane was loosing gas and he was lost. Where am I, he thought to himself. His plane was loosing more power. Then the plane lost all power and was falling fastly. Duke just panicked and braced himself.

Dingo, Aleu, Saba, Mina, and Felice were waiting for Kodi's arrival. ''Do you think he's okay Dingo'', asked Saba. ''He's fine guys, he should be here any moment'', said Dingo. Then the five siblings heard barking. I know that bark, thought Dingo. Then they all barked back. Kodi's team won!

The team came to a stop. All of Kodi's sisters hugged at once and checked for bruises or anything like that.  Every time Kodi came back from a race or mail run, his sisters would always mother him because he was the youngest. But he liked it. ''I'm fine guys'', Kodi said laughing. Then Dingo came to Kodi ,'' Hey great job, you are fast'', said Dingo.

The six were at the beach by Balto's boat celebrating. But Kodi knew something was wrong, the plane has not arrived yet. ''Hey, Kodi why aren't you celebrating, you've won'', said Saba nudging. ''I think that something terrible happened to Duke, he hasn't arrived yet'', said Kodi. ''Don't worry he'll arrive'', said Saba. I hope so.

Kodi walked over to Dingo. ''Dingo I think the plane crashed'', said Kodi. ''I wan't to help Duke, I don't care if it's risking my life, or job, we're man's best freind'', said Kodi. ''Then I'm coming with you, I can't see you get hurt or anything'', said Dingo. And they were off.

''How much colder could it get?'', Dingo said pratically shivering. ''Hey I think I found him'', said Kodi. He finally saw the plane. Kodi and Dingo licked Duke to awake him. ''Dingo, Kodi, how did you find, how did you know'', asked Duke. Duke tried to get up but fell back down. Damn leg, he thought. ''Well I guess I won't be walking back to Nome'', he said. Dingo and Kodi helped Duke. Hey I've got an Idea. He took a part of his plane to sit on, and got some rope, He then made a sled and tied the rope to Kodi and Dingo. And they were off to return back to Nome.

''Hey Aleu have you seen Dingo or Kodi, I haven't seen 'em anywhere'', asked Mina. ''I don't know, I can't find 'em either, it's not like Dingo, or Kodi to just run away'', said Aleu with worry.

They then heard a familiar howl. I know those howls, Aleu thought. She smiled and howled back. She finally saw her 2 brothers running and pulling Duke. Oh my gosh, my brothers are now heros, she thought to herself. ''Hey Saba, our brothers are heros now'', she said. ''I know'', Saba said smiling. They then went to their brothers.

After Kodi and Dingo were untied they both fell to the ground passed out.. Aleu and Saba nudged Dingo awake. Kodi was still passed out. ''Dingo do you think you'll be able to carry him'', asked Saba. Dingo answered her question by grabbing Kodi's scruff softly, and put him on his back. ''Does that answer your question'', he asked. ''Yes'', said Saba laughing. Dingo whispered in Kodi's ear, ''I'm proud of you buddy'', he said. When they got to Jenna's house he put Kodi down by the fireplace. And layed next to him to keep warm. Felice and Mina were there too and snuggled around Kodi to keep him warm. Aleu and Saba stayed on the couch. We have the best family ever, she thought.

Flashback

Two pups were running on the beach they were racing. ''Come on Kodi, see if you catch me'', yelled Dingo after his little brother. ''I'm gonna get you'', said Kodi playfully growling. Dingo slowed down to let Kodi catch up. Kodi finally caught

up to Dingo, and pinned him down. ''Haha, got you big bro'', said Kodi laughing. ''Yes you did'', said Dingo smiling. Balto came to see his two sons playing. ''Are we playing nice, guys'', asked Balto. ''You bet dad, you know we would

never fight'', said Dingo as he pulled Kodi to hug him.

Out of Flashback

Dingo and Kodi were racing on the beach, ''Wow Kodi, you've gotten pretty fast'', said Dingo. Then Kodi accidentley ran into something. He finally realized he ran into another dog. ''Oh my gosh I'm so very sorry, I was racing my brother-

''Hey it's okay, accidents happen'', the dog responded in a rather sweet, and gentle way, Her voice caught Kodi's attention letting Dingo win. Hey, what's gotten into him, he thought to himself. He then saw Kodi talking to the other

dog. ''Oh, he's talking to a girl, better leave him be, huh my little bro is finally becoming a fine grown dog'', Dingo thought to himself smiling.

''Oh my name's Dusty by the way'', said the dog. Kodi found himself staring into her beautiful icey blue eyes. ''Um sir you okay'', she asked. Kodi was still starring into her eyes. Is he okay?, Dusty thought to herself. ''Uhh, forgive me sir, why are you starring at me'', she asked a little uncomfertable

''Oh sorry mam, it's just I've never seen a dog with such beautiful eyes, besides my mother'', Kodi finally said. Dusty blushed. ''Oh well thank you'', she said smiling. ''Hey, I'm sort of lost, do you know if this place has a post office'', she asked

''Yes, Nome has a post office, why do you want to go there'', Kodi asked. ''Well, I've heard that this place had a dog mail team, my owner and brother think I'm strong and fast enough to join'', she said. ''Really because my father and brother think the same thing'', said Kodi.

''Hey do you wanna come with me, we can both try out together'', she said rather flirtingly. ''Yes, I'd love to'', said Kodi. And they were off.

Kodi was running happily, and rather dancing on all four paws happily. Wow I can't I believe it, I made LEAD dog, and best of all, Dusty is on the team, this is like the best day of my life, Kodi thought to himself happily.

Kodi met up with Dingo at the beach by Balto's boat. Aleu was there too. ''Hey Aleu, Dingo'', he said. ''Woah Kodi, you're all out of breathe, why don't you sit down'', said Aleu smiling. He sat down next to Dingo and Aleu. ''What are you so happy about, not that I love seeing you happy'', asked Dingo. ''I made the mail team, and I'm lead dog, and  Dusty is on the team too'', said Kodi happily.

''Who's Dusty'', asked Aleu. ''Kodi's girlfreind'', said Dingo teasingly. Kodi blushed. ''She's not my girlfreind, she's just a very close and good freind and team mate'', said Kodi. ''Kodi, I've seen you talking to her, I read your thoughts, admit it your in love'', said Aleu. ''I'm not in love guys'', said Kodi. Dingo and Aleu looked at each other and smiled. Dingo playfuly rolled Kodi over, he held Kodi down and to Kodi's dis-advantage Aleu tickled his most ticklish spot ever. Kodi exploded into uncontrollable laughter and squirmed like crazy, it was hard for Dingo to keep him still. ''Tell me your in love and I'll stop'', said Aleu. ''Never'', said Kodi laughing. Until he realized he was close to crying. he finally let out, ''Okay haha okay haha I haha am haha in haha love haha'', he said. Aleu finally stopped and Dingo let go of him. ''Don't try to fool us Kodi, you know what will happen'', said Dingo.

''Anyways, how do I tell her that I love her'', he asked. ''Aleu what do girls like'', he asked. ''Well, all I can say is that even though I don't have a mate yet, I can say that I would want one that is honest, can listen good, and can just be a fun loving guy'', she said winking. '' Not while I'm around Aleu, I'm choosing the mates here for you, and our other sisters'', said Dingo seriously. ''Listen Dingo, just because you're the oldest, doesn't you can control our lives, I appreciate you feeling protective of us, but please we're aloud to choose our own mates'', she said nuzzling him. ''I know I'm sorry, it's just my little sisters and brother are not little anymore, they've grown into fine mature dogs. It's just I think it's every big brothers job to have that fatherly feeling over his little siblings'', he said while hugging Kodi and Aleu. ''Don't worry Dingo, we'll always be your little brother and sisters always'', said Kodi hugging him.

Okay I'll tell her today, but how, but whatever you do don't lie, and just be yourself, Kodi thought to himself.

He met with Dusty at the beach by sunset. Once they met and sat down, ''I have to tell you something'', they both said in unsion. ''I love you'', they said in unison. ''You do'', asked Kodi. Dusty answered his question by licking his cheek. ''I'll take that as a yes'', he said and returned the kiss. I can't wait to tell everyone this, thought Kodi. ''So, do you wanna be my mate'', Kodi asked. ''Only if you'll be mine'', said Dusty. They then both kissed.

After Dusty left, Kodi went to Balto's boat. ''Hey Kodi, what's up'', Balto asked. ''I told Dusty that I love her'', he said as happy as ever. ''So how did it go'', Balto asked. ''Let's just say she gave a good, wet, kiss on the cheek for her opinion'', said Kodi. ''Look you can still see the tongue mark'', said Kodi. ''We'll congradulations son, are you two mates yet'', asked Balto. ''I would have to say yes'', said Kodi.

''See what did I tell ya, if you're just honest with yourself, you will have the girl's heart'', said Aleu winking. ''But we both said in unison to each other once we met at the beach 'I love you', said Kodi. ''It doesn't matter how you both said it, are you and Dusty happy with each other'', Aleu asked. ''Yes, of course'', said Kodi. ''Then I'm happy'', said Aleu. Aleu was about to lick the cheek Dusty did, to say congradulations, before she got any closer, ''No wait not that cheek'', said Kodi in a panic. ''Why, whats wrong with it'', asked Aleu confused. ''This is the cheek that Dusty kissed me on'', said Kodi. Aleu in return just licked his other cheek. ''Thanks, sis'', said Kodi hugging her.

Kodi went to Dingo's house. He went to the second floor, and scratched his window. ''Kodi, what are you doing here'', asked Dingo yawning. He came out the window. ''You better have woken me up for a good reason, or else'', said Dingo. ''Don't worry, it's a good reason for sure'', said Kodi. ''We'll, start talking I wanna go to sleep'', said Dingo. ''DUSTY AND I ARE MATES'', Kodi said rather loudly. Dingo immidiatley covered Kodi's mouth so no one could hear him. Dingo took Kodi to the backyard. ''I'm very happy for you,  how did you do it'', asked Dingo. ''Well we both met at the beach, and we both said I love you in unison, and it just happened'', said Kodi. ''Well, congradulations, now you'd better get home, before sunrise'', said Dingo. ''Okay, bye bro'', said Kodi.

Today, Kodi and Dusty had a mail run, ''Hey Kodi'', said Dusty as she nuzzled him. ''Hello Dusty'', Kodi said as he returned the nuzzle. ''So how are things going'', asked Dusty. ''Everything is just great, and whats great about it is that we have eachother'', Kodi said as he kissed. The musher yelled mush and they started running.

Later that night, Dusty stayed at Kodi's house, ''Are you sure Kodi'', asked Dusty. ''Yes I'm sure, we both agreed we wanted to start a family,'' he said. They then started to kiss. ''I love you Dusty'', ''I love you Kodi'', and they started.

The next morning, Kodi and Dusty were laying together, Dusty was laying on Kodi's chest, Kodi was already awake, he didn't move, he didn't want to wake up Dusty. If we ever have a family, I want one just like the one with all my siblings, no fights, just playing around, older siblings being protective, Kodi thought to himself smiling. Dusty finally awakened. ''Good morning sleepy beauty'', he said licking her forehead. ''Good morning, Kodi'', she returned the lick. ''Huh, I feel sort of strange'', said Dusty. ''What do you feel'', asked Kodi. ''I feel like dizzy, and very very hungry'', she said as she got up and went to food bowl and ate, but begged her human for more food.''Kodi, you'd better get home before your human gets worried'', said Dusty. ''Good call, bye Dusty love you'', said Kodi as he left. ''Love you too'', she yelled after him.

Aleu and Dingo were at the beach talking, '' How do you think Kodi's doing'', asked Aleu. ''I'm sure he's doing fine, I'm just glad he's happy because he has Dusty'', said Dingo. ''Hey guys'', said Kodi. ''Oh, hey Kodi'', said Dingo. ''Dingo Im sort of scared'', said Kodi. ''What's wrong buddy'', asked Dingo. ''Well Dusty has been acting weird lately, she's been eating alot, she is very dizzy, and she's fainting every second'', said Kodi. ''I got this Dingo'', said Aleu. ''Kodi, you're going to be a father'', said Aleu. ''You said what now'', said Kodi. ''Mom told me when she was carrying us, she felt the same way as Dusty, congradulations'', said Aleu as nuzzled Kodi

The Next Day

Dusty went to Kodi. ''Dusty, I think I know why you've acting weird lately'', said Kodi. ''I think I know too'', said Dusty. ''Kodi, we're going to be parents, my human took me to the vet, and we're expecting 5 puppies YAY'', she said as she jumped on Kodi and hugged him.

Kodi went to Jenna's house to tell her the news. ''Hi mom'', Kodi said as he nuzzled her. ''Hey Kodi, what's up'', asked Jenna. ''I have great news to tell you'', said Jenna. ''Let me guess, you finally beat Dingo in a tickle-fight'', she said. ''No'', said Kodi. ''Me and Dusty, are..... Mom be prepared to be called grandma soon'', said Kodi happily. Jenna realized what Kodi meant, and squealed. ''You're going to be a father'', she asked. ''Yup a father of five'', he said. ''Oh I can't wait, when are they due'', she asked. ''10 more weeks'', he said. ''Well you and Dusty can stay here until they arrive, and if you need any help on raising kis, just ask me or Dad, okay'', ''You bet, thanks'' ''Oh I'll be counting the moments.

The Next Day

Kodi saw Dingo and Balto playing on the beach. He then joined in. ''Hey Kodi, hows it going'', said Dingo still running around. ''We'll mom is letting me and Dusty stay at her house for a while'', said Kodi. ''Why'', asked Balto. ''She's pregnant'', said Kodi, Then Balto and Dingo immidiatly rammed into each other. ''Can you rephrase that again'', asked Balto. ''Me, Kodi, your son, and his mate Dusty, your daughter-in law, are having puppies'', said Kodi teasingly. ''So that's makes me a grandfather'', said Balto. He then jumped for joy. ''Wow I can't belive the youngest is going to be a parent first, you're only two years old, do you think you're ready'', asked Dingo. ''Im not sure, but I'm sure Mom and Dad will help us along the way'', said Kodi. Then Kodi and Dingo saw Balto, literally dancing and singing girrberish. ''Um let him have his moment before you start asking him about parenting,okay'', said Dingo. ''It's a deal'', said Kodi.

Dusty was at Jenna's house not feeling well. ''Jenna, I think I'm about to throw up'', said Dusty. ''Oh my, well come on I'll take you to the bathroom'', said Jenna. Once they got inside the bathroom, Dusy ran to the toilet and threw up. ''Oh, thats not pretty'', said Dusty. ''This is what they call morning sickness, so you might want to get used to it'', said Jenna. ''Hey, I'm a tough girl, I get through this'', said Dusty. ''Are you sure'', asked Jenna. ''No, I mean I have to eat alot, I hate throwing up, and look at me I'M FAT'', said Dusty crying. Oh boy here comes the mood swings, Jenna thought to her self.

A month later

Kodi was waiting anxiously, outside Rosy's room.  Along with his other five siblings. Jenna was inside with Dusty, while Dusty was going through so much pain. ''Dusty take it easy, come on breathe, it'll be done soon'', said Jenna. ''Jenna get Kodi in here please'', said Dusty. Jenna went to the door. ''Kodi, Dusty wants you'', said Jenna. Kodi went to Dusty and licked the sweat off her face. ''How are doing'', said Kodi. ''I'm feeling better I'm''----- then all of a sudden she then let a yelp of pain. ''Dusty you okay'', asked Kodi. Why in the heck did I just ask that she's in pain, I'm such a dumb-ass, Kodi thought to himself in disgust. Then some blood started to show on the blanket Dusty was laying on. Then a little puff ball came out. Oh my gosh I'm a father, Kodi thought to himself. The new born pup seacherd around for Dusty. Kodi helped the little pup by very lightly pushing the pup to Dusty's belly. The pup finally found the source to it's milk, and starting nusring.

After 2 more hours

Five new born puppies were nusring with Dusty. All were the same color as Dusty, but she knew all of them would have Kodi's personality. Kodi knew the first thing to tell them was they're part wolf. But he didn't worry about that now, he was a happy new father. ''We're parents Dusty'', said Kodi as he licked her. ''Yes we are, so what do you want to name 'em'', asked Dusty. ''I'll name the boys, you'll name the girls'', said Kodi. Kodi looked at the two boys, ''I think the oldest boy should be named Dingo, and the second should be Cliff'', said Kodi. ''Perfect names, okay the first girl will be Sabrina, the second will be Kiley, and the last one will be, well Kodi why don't you choose'', said Dusty. ''Are you sure'', asked Kodi. ''Yes'', said Dusty. ''I think she is as beautiful as her mother, and her sisters are too, so I think we'll name her after her mother'', said Kodi. ''Agreed'', said Dusty. ''I love you Kodi'', said Dusty. ''I love you too, Dusty'', said Kodi.

Kodi let in his siblings and showed to their new neices and nephews. ''Congradulations, Kodi'', they all said. ''So what are their names Kodi'', asked Dingo. ''Their names are, Cliff, Sabrina, Kiley, Dusty, and Dingo'', said Kodi. ''Dingo, hmm I find that name a great name'', he said. Everyone laughed. Balto then finally came in the room, and saw his new grand children. ''Hey Kodi, Dusty, so what are their names'', asked Balto. ''Kiley, Dingo, Cliff, Sabrina, and Dusty'', said Dusty. ''Such beautiful names'', said Balto. ''Thank you'', said Dusty and Dingo in unison. ''Oh I almost forgot, Dingo, Aleu, would you like to be the god father and mother?'', asked Dusty. ''WE'D LOVE TO'', they both yelled in unison. Then some of the pups got scared and whimpered a little bit. ''Oooh sorry'', sorry Dingo. ''Eh, don't worry about it, we'll get used to it'', said Kodi.

''Balto, I'd be lost without you'', said a sick Rosie hugging Balto, after he returned the medicine. Balto then saw Jenna, and they played around in circles, until they're noses touched. Jenna nuzzled Balto, but not a gesture of thank you, but of love. They both walked outside the hospital, and the other dogs, and people now respected Balto, he was a hero. ''He has the endurance, most fedelity, the most intelligence,'', said Kaltag. ''We should builed a statue of him'', said Star. ''You said it'', said Kaltag.

2 YEARS LATER

Balto was running on the beach with his now fully grown pups. Dingo tackled him, and held him down. ''Come on guys get him'', said Dingo. The others new what he meant, they all came to Balto. Then Balto found himself, being tickled all over by all his pups. ''Hey, please come on haha stop'', he said desperatly. They responded by tickling him more. ''I'll haha let haha you haha chase haha Boris haha if haha you stop haha'', said Balto. The pups all stopped. Balto was now gasping for air. And right on que Boris was walking down the beach and the pups and pounced on him. Crazy kids, but you gotta love 'em, thought Balto.

Later that night, Dingo and Kodi were at their owners house. They were both asleep.

In Dingo's Dream

Every one was crying, all his siblings, and his mother. ''What's going on here'', he asked. Hen then came to see what every one was crying about, he saw a grave, and a tombstone with the name Balto written on it. ''No, no ,nooooo!, he was only three years old, how'', he started crying. ''Pssst'', said someone. Dingo came to what he heard. ''Aniu what are you doing here, why is my father dead'', he asked. ''He has died of the dog flu, there was no medicine left, this is what will happen in the future if you don't get that medicine back'', said Dingo. ''Dingo, help me , help me'', said Balto's voice,

''Dingo, hey wake up'', said Kodi. ''DAD'', yelled Dingo. ''Dad, what's wrong with him'', asked Kodi. ''I just had this dream where, our grandmother Aniu, came to me, she said Dad will be very ill, and will die if we don't get him the medicine, like the epidemic in 1925'', said Dingo. ''Okay that is the last time I sneak you dog treats before bed'', said Kodi. Why doesn't he believe me, I believed him when we were younger, that there was monsters under his bed, thought Dingo. ''So you're saying you don't believe me'', said Dingo. ''I'm not saying I don't believe you, it's jst how could something that devistating happen to Dad when he's only three years old, dogs get the flu when they're like eight years old'', said Kodi. ''I guess you're right, but I'm going to check up on him anyway'', said Dingo. And off he went.

Balto was at his boat, with his blanket over him, he felt very cold, but it was summer time. ''Oy, Balto, you look horrible'', said Boris in schock. ''Oh gee thank you, I feel very cold, and my throat is killing me'', said Balto. ''Luckily, this boat has a first-aid kit'', said Boris. Them Boris pulled a light out of the box. ''Open Balto, open up your mouth, tongue out'', said Boris. Balto opened his mouth. ''Oy, when did you brush last, okay lets see here'', said Boris as he checked out Balto's throat. It was all red. ''Oy, Balto I think you have the dog flu'', said Boris. ''What, no I can't have the dog flu, I'm too young'', said Balto.

Balto and Jenna and all their kids were at the vets office. ''Well boy, it seems as though you have the dog flu'', said the vet. WHAT NO, IT CANT BE, thought Balto.

Aleu and her sisters were at the beach nearly to tears, ''He can't, maybe it's just a common cold'', said Saba. Aleu hugged her and said, ''Hey it's okay, you now Papa can break throught this'', she said.

Dingo and Kodi were at their house. ''See what did I tell you, Dad is sick, and there is no cure for this'', he said to Kodi. ''My grandsons'', it was Aniu, they both turned around and saw her. ''What you've said in my dreams are coming true'', said Dingo. ''Is there a way that we can stop this from getter any worse'', asked Kodi. ''There is more medicine in the Town of Nenana, and you two must retrieve it'', said Aniu.

More dogs were diagnosed with the dog flu, including, Felice, Jenna, and Aleu. The town was almost out of medicine.

''Dingo, we have to retreive that medicine, it's for our parents and sisters'', said Kodi. ''Kodi have you seen it outside, it would be suicidal to go'', said Dingo. ''I don't care, if it's for our family, I'm doing it'', said Kodi.

They both went to the hospital. They both saw Felice and Aleu. ''How you both doing'', asked Dingo. ''Not that great Dingo, I'm scared, I don't want to die'', said Felice. Dingo hugged her,'' Sssh it's okay, you'll make it I promise'', he said. ''How there is no more medicine left, we're going to die'', said Aleu. That's it, I'm not letting anything get in my way now, I'm going, thought Kodi. This is for you Dad, thought Kodi, as he walked out the door, and was about to start his journey until, ''Hey Kodi where are you going'', asked Dingo. ''I'm getting that medicine, I can't loose my sisters or parents, you can't stop me, now please let go of me'', said Kodi. ''Kodi, please just stay here, I can't loose you either'', said Dingo close to tears, '' Dingo if you really cared about our sisters and parents, you would come too'', said Kodi. '' I am going, tell Aleu, Felice, and mom and dad, hope is on the way'', said Kodi. And he was off.

A few hours later

I'm so cold, thought Kodi. I can't give up now, thought Kodi. Then Kodi heard a growling noise. Then it came louder and louder. Then he found himself in front of a wild grizzly. Oh no not good, Kodi ran for his life. But he wasn't fast enough, the bear caught him and pinned him down. The bear put preassure on Kodi's chest. He was loosing his breathe until, ''RAAAAAWER'', and a red flash attacked the bear. The creature put up a good fight and scared off the bear. Then the creature came up to Kodi. ''You okay little brother'', asked the creature. ''Dingo is that you'', Kodi asked. The creature then became clearer and it was him. Dingo layed beside Kodi. ''You are crazy you know, and you still want to get that medicine'', asked Dingo. ''Dingo, I'm doing this for the sake of my family, when you have a family you will always have their back, remember when you told me beofore 'I think it's every older brother's job to be like the third parent in a family' well now is your chance, by saving your sisters and parents, please, I love you and them too much'', asked Kodi close to tears. Dingo could see the desperation in Kodi's eyes, Okay it's time I am the older brother now, I can't let my family down, he thought to himself. Dingo then hugged Kodi,'' Don't worry buddy, I finally realize what family really is, thank you, I am going to help you, every step of the way'', said Dingo. Kodi just nuzzled him.

The 2 brother finally got to the town of Nenana.

They went to the hospital, and heard some men arguing. ''But we can't just those dogs die'', said one doctor. Another doctor said, ''It's Nome's problem not our problem we should just let them die, this medicine is staying here'', said the other doctor. Dingo and Kodi could hear everything under the floorboards. ''That heartless, no good, son of a---''Dingo, be quiet, they'll hear us''. The first doctor said, ''So you'll let a bunch of dogs die, just because they're not in our city, you heartless no good son of a----'' You go any further, you're fired'', warned the head doctor. ''You know what I quit, I'm not working for a person who doesn't care about animals dying'', as the stormed out the door. ''Wait you get back here'', yelled the head doctor, and followed him. ''Come on Kodi nows our chance'', said Dingo. They went into the room and took a few viles in their mouths and headed out.

Felice, Aleu, Balto, and Jenna were laying sick in their beds. ''I'm scared to die, Aleu'', said Felice. ''Don't worry, we're going to mack it, I promise'', said Aleu. Then she heard familiar howls. I know those howls, my brothers are more tha heros now, they're like our gaurdian angels.thought Aleu. ''Felice, now I know we're going to make it for sure'', she said. Then Dingo and Kodi, came to the hospital, and showed the doctors the vile of medicine. ''Oh my gosh, good boys'', he patted their heads, and gave the medicine to the dogs by vaccine. Dingo and Kodi cam to Aleu and Felice, ''Dingo, Kodi you're the best brother ever, thank you'', said Aleu as she hugged them. ''You guys are the best'', said Felice as she hugged them. They then went to Balto and Jenna's room. ''I'm proud of you boys, you're always watching out for your sisters, and for us'', said Balto. ''You two are my heros'', said Jenna. ''Thank Kodi, here, he was the one who wanted to do this in the first place'', said Dingo.''Oh my gosh, Kodi your chest what happened'', asked Jenna as she saw Kodi's chest all bruised. ''Um lets just say a bear, decided to try and eat me'', said Kodi. ''Okay that's it, Dingo now you have to be with Kodi all the time, be his body guard'', said Jenna. ''Mom, as much as I love protecting my siblings, I think they're old enough to fend for themselves'', said Dingo.

A few weeks later,

Balto was playing with Jenna and his pups. Finally a day with no craziness, he thought to himself. ''Balto, Im sick'', yelled Boris. '''Oh crap'', thought Balto.

Dingo saw Kodi and Dusty running with their new pups on the beach. Dingo Jr. was the fastest out of all. He stopped for a minute to let the others catch. Dingo laughed and walked up to Kodi. ''Well Kodi, looks like Dingo is pretty fast, why don't you let him on your mail team'', asked Dingo. ''I want to but I can't'', said Kodi. ''Why not'', asked Dingo. ''Because some of Steele's sons are on the team and if they see Dingo, they'll know that me and Dusty are together and Fang is still in love with her'', said Kodi. ''Kodi, don't let them bother you, they're just lowlife inbreds, do it for your son'', said Dingo. ''I'll think about it'', said Kodi.
