"Come on Jenna!" Balto yelled with a smirk spread across his face, "I'm not sure." Jenna said looking at the ice shining, Balto waited wagging his bushy tail. "Aww come on Jenna, We will just get some fish and then go home." He said whining. "Please!" He begged, But Jenna looked away sighing. "Fine." She said "But make it quick!"

Balto and Jenna ran across the snow toward the ice, the snow sunk in between there toes, Balto laughed and sprung onto the ice, sliding across it. "Weeee!!" He laughed, Jenna just rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Balto.." She smiled her beautiful eyes focesed on him. "Come on Jenna!" He yelled, and Jenna walked carefully onto the ice. "Balto...Are you sure this is safe?" She asked. "Sure it is! Now help me break this ice!" He said smiling. "No." Jenna said. "I'll watch." Balto gave Jenna a serprised look. "Suit yourself." He said tossing his head alittle, Then crashed through the ice. "Ah ha! Fish!" He yelled and dug his paw into the freezing water.

"Balto! Becareful!" She shouted. "You know what happened with you and the bear." She looked at him with a small glare. "Aww lay off it Jenna, That was ages ago." He said rolling his eyes, Then he caught a fish. "Ha! gotcha." He shouted licking his lips, But suddenly the ice made a cracking sound. "Uh oh....RUN JENNA RUN!!" He yelled at top of his lungs, WIthout hesitating she sprung for it but the ice crawled up to her and grabbed her, pulling her under into the freezing water. "JENNA!" He screamed and dived in after her.

Jenna was being pulled buy the current, she gurgled trying to call Balto's name, Balto swam after her trying to fight the current, but he couldn't handle it, They got seperated, Balto leaped to the surface for air. "Jenna..." He whispered. "This is all my fault!!" He yelled, But something caught his attention, it was Jenna laying on a lump of ice.

"Jenna!!" He screamed. "Jenna are you okey?!!" He swam over to Jenna. "Jenna?...JENNA!" He pleaded. "No don't die Jenna don't die!!" He cried. "I'm not dead Balto..." She perked up. "BUT this is all YOUR fault!" She snapped. Balto watched her for a moment. "Jenna i'm sorry, I really am s-!!" He sunk to the bottem. "Balto!" Jenna screamed and leaped in after him, she gurgled and nearly frozen.

Jenna spotted Balto and bit his scruff and pulled him up to the surface, They gasped for air. "Balto! I'm sorry i got mad at you Balto!" She shouted nuzzling his maw softly. "No Jenna this is all my fault, I shouldn't of brought you here." He said struggling to breath. "I'm sorry.." He whispered, stating to die down. "No Balto!" Cried Jenna. "I'll never let go!" She whispered.

Jenna struggled to pull Balto onto the ice. "Come on Balto!" She yelled and started crying, Balto pulled himself up weakly. "Jenna...you have to go home." He said quitely. "NO I WON'T LEAVE YOU!" She cried. "You have to.." He said and pushed her of the ice, Which left Jenna no choice but to swim ashore and watch Balto drift of into the distance.

Jenna swam and swam, it was quite far away until she reached the land, barely alive, frozen stiff. "Balto..." She whispered and collapesed on the soft snow. Her bandanna was soaking wet so she took it off and lied it on the snow, But the tide washed it up and it floated out (Which was now a sea) "My bandanna!" She yelled and got up weakly to chase after it but she watched it float away.

The ice that Balto was on started to melt, where the sun rays pertched, Balto whimpered missing Jenna not caring if the ice was melting or not and he wondered if he would ever see her again and would he see his pups, Boris and Muk and Luk again? Back at the shore Jenna sighed, giving up hope and started her journey home, She cried most of the way.

When Jenna reached the small town Nome she went straight to Balto's boat to get Boris and the others, but she didn't make it, she collapsed half way, Dying from the coldness. Balto jumped off the ice and swam as far as he could but something caught his eye, it was a crimson red colour floating in the water. 'Jenna' He thought and swam as fast as he could and picked the thing up, it was Jenna's bandanna. "No! Jenna!" He yelled bobbing in the water, He was afraid that she didn't make it and she had drowned.

Balto swam ashore he stopped and panted catching his air back, he shook his wet pelt and smelt the air, and he smelt Jenna's scent. "Jenna..." Balto ran toward Nome. Back at Nome Jenna struggled to breath until she felt something nudge her, She looked up and saw a Balto twin. "Balto?" She asked nearly blinded by the blizzard. The large figure stood there watching her, until he made a move and threw her onto his back and faced the blizzard and walked into the Village.

"W-who are you?" Jenna said slowly. "The name's Ranger." He said putting her down. "You look like my mate Balto." She said, Rangers ears perked. "Balto?" He laughed "What a name." He joked, Ranger looked exactly like Balto but without the eye patches, Jenna frowned. "Whats so funny?" She asked and shivered. "Uh nothing." He said and coughed. "Anyway let go some where warm." He said walking off and Jenna followed. Ranger smirked and chuckled under his breath.

Ranger and Jenna arrived at the boiler room. "Its warm here." He said watching her curl up infront of the fire. "Yes.." She mumbled, Ranger waited until she fell asleep and he opened the door looking out at the night sky and the snow falling softly. "Balto..." He whispered and took a step out, then sighed coming back inside to the warmth. "Balto...my brother." He said and curled up.
