Jenna woke up and someone was carrying her.It was a grown up named Ashley.Jenna looked up at Ashley at least she got her away from Steele for now.Jenna sneezed then jumped out of Ashley's arms and ran off to find Balto.Jenna followed Balto's  scent to the nearest cliff and she looked down and saw Balto holding on by his front paws only and she saw Steele leaning over Balto.

 Jenna backed up 5 feet then ran as fast as she could and rammed into Steele knocking him out of the way and when Steele was a long ways away Jenna helped Balto up and nuzzled his muzzle.Balto licked Jenna.
       "Lets get out of here."said Balto
Jenna nodded and they ran back into the town where they met Kodi and Miracle,Snowflake,and Tony.
     "Hey guys."said Jenna.
  "Hi mom."they all said
Jenna looked up at the sky and sighed.
    "Come on Balto we need to go,bye guys goodnight."said Jenna 
Balto and Jenna ran off to the beach and went into Balto's boat house and fell asleep.
When Balto woke up Jenna was gone. Jenna woke up and she was in a wire cage and she felt someones   breath on the back of her neck and she turned around and saw Steele.
  "Why am I in a cage with you?"asked Jenna really mad
  "We kidnapped you again."said Steele
Jenna howled and Balto lifted up his head.
Jenna fell back asleep and when she woke up she was in a huge steel cage with Steele.Balto got up and followed Jenna's scent to a field and he saw a huge cage with Jenna in it and he howled to Jenna.Steele looked at Balto and growled.Jenna looked at Balto and sighed then she looked up at the sky.Steele's  owner opened the cage and let Steele out.Steele charged at Balto but Balto jumped out of the way of Steele.When Balto jumped out of the way he landed on an ice patch an nearly broke his leg.Steele and Balto go in a huge fight and tears were running down Jenna's cheek.Jenna tried to howl as loud as she could but she was too scared so she couldn't get her voice to work.
  Jenna looked around the cage and saw that she could probably dig under the bars,so she went to every side and tried to dig under the bars but there was ice under every one she tried and she was exasted but there was one place she didn't try.Jenna walked to the very back of the cage and dug under the bars with tears still running down her cheeks.She looked for Balto and found him laying in a pile of snow with a really bad cut on his leg.
 "Balto?"Jenna asked as her tears dripped onto his chest.

 "Jenna?"asked Balto as he stood up.

"Wow be careful."said Jenna   

Jenna and Balto walked toward home slowly.When they reached home Jenna heard Rosie calling her name and her and Balto walked up to  Rosie together.When Rosie saw Balto's leg she ran inside to get her mom.When Rosie went in Balto pulled Jenna aside."Jenna what I'm going to tell you is for your own good."Balto sighed as he said this"Jenna I think we should see other people." "What?"asked Jenna a tear running down her cheek. "Jenna I don't want you to get hurt and it seems like I'm the reason Stelle keeps buging you."said Balto."But Balto."said Jenna tears pouring down her cheeks"I'm sorry Jenna."said Balto.Balto licked Jenna and nuzzled her then walked off. Jenna stopped dead in her tracks.Was Balto really gone she thought to herself. Kodi walked up to his mom."Mom whats wrong?"asked Kodi. "Your dad left."said Jenna. 

       It had been one month since Balto had left and everything made Jenna think of Balto.Meanwhile Balto was doing fine and he had met a pack and he joined it.One day Jenna was going into the woods to get firewood when she saw a ton of wolf tracks."I'm seeing things."said Jenna as she walked out of the woods.Just as she walked out of the woods Balto and his pack walked by.Balto sighed and kept walking he missed Jenna a lot.One day Balto was walking through town when he bumped into a red husky.

   "Jenna!"said Balto excited"I made a huge mistake wanna get back together?"Balto asked

"Wanna watch the sunset together?"Jenna asked Balto sitting down on the white beach sand."Sure."said Balto and when he sat down on the sand Jenna sat her head on his shoulder.Balto looked out at the sea and he had a flash back of when he first met Jenna they had been sitting in the same place and doing the same exact thing."Jenna remember when we first met?"Balto asked Jenna.Jenna nodded smiling and she yawned looking up at Balto.Jenna closed her eyes and fell asleep with her head on Balto's shoulder and she was smiling in her sleep.Balto looked at Jenna and knew he was the luckiest wolfdog in the world.
