Mylith, a dark brown half-wolf, stared past the horizon.
"Got you!" Yima, a blueish-black half-wolf, pounced on her back. Yima was Mylith's sister. She and ALL her siblings were a year old and fully grown.
"Get off," Mylith growled.
"Jeez," Yima snickered, climbing off. "I knew you were a neat freak but I didn't know you were pushy."
"Look who's talking," Mylith snorted. "You're too care free." Dusty, their brother, Kodi's best friend, appeared.
"I don't agree with either of you," she said simply.
"Gee, thanks, Dusty. You understand us," Yima sighed. "But I am carefree." Yima tipped her head back and howled.
"Go soak your head," Mylith muttered.
"What was that?" Aleu growled, approaching them. Aleu was their sister, too.
"Oh, nothing, Great Aleu," Mylith said, sarcastically.
"What's your problem?" Aleu growled.
"STOP!" Yima howled. Mylith narrowed her eyes, as she organized the rocks. Couldn't they understand her?
"Are you alright?" Yima asked, softly.
"I'm fine!" she snapped. Yima didn't recoil. She always just wanted to understand others.
"Mylith, you're our sister and friend. We DO care about you," Yima whispered. Mylith smiled.
"You can always cheer someone up," she said. Yima grinned then she stiffened and looked behind her shoulder.
"Guys," she said. "A tunnel!" Sure enough there was a tunnel behind them!
"Let's go!" Yima howled, launching forward. Aleu launched after her. Mylith sighed.
"Dusty, tell my father," she whispered, hurtling after her sisters. The tunnel went on for miles. Finally they reached the end. Outside was a pack of wolves!
"AROOW!" Yima howled. The wolves looked at them. An aging silver-gray wolf approached.
"You have come," he whispered. Then Dad hurtled through the tunnel.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" he thundered.
"Dad!" Yima cried.
"All of you?" the silvery wolf asked. "Aniu has been very kind." The old wolf said his name was Nava and that the carabou crossed the Great Waters and that we were to help them. Dad agreed and Mylith had hoped that he wouldn't.
Mylith wasn't a fan of Dad, that was Yima. Yima wanted to be just like him. Mylith? Heck, NO!! He was strict but the one time Mylith wanted him to be strict he turned and was kind. Ech!
"We will leave now," Nava anounced. We ran to the ocean. The ice burgs were linning up! They began to cross, slowly but steadily. They were half-way across when the front half broke off and began to drift away! Bad part, Mylith and her family were on the back half!
(Swaping to Yima's point of veiw)
"Dad, we have to go, help them," Yima said.
"I have to let go," Balto whispered. "Don't I?"
"Dad, we love you," Aleu said.
"I love you, too but this is so hard," Balto moaned.
"We'll always remember," Mylith told him. Balto smiled.
"So will I," he said. He nuzzled Mylith and she swam away. He then nuzzled Aeu, who swam away. Yima nuzzled her father and whispered, "You'll always be my hero." She swam after the others, her heart pleading with her to go back. They arrived on the ice burg and soon reached the island.

Mylith cold shouldered Yima and Aleu for months on.
"What's wrong?" Yima asked.
"None of your buisness!" Mylith snarled. "You and the rest of them betrayed me! He is NO hero!"
"Dad?" Yima demanded. "He saved a whole town!"
"But not me," Mylith growled. "I hate you."
"I hate you more," Yima hissed.
"Impossible," Mylith snarled stalking off. Yima wished things would go back to normal. She walked to aleu to explain.

Weeks later Yima woke to the pack's howl. She looked up and saw her WHOLE family coming to them.
"Welcome," Nava greeted.
"Where are my three daughters?" Balto asked.
"You mean TWO?" Mylith hissed. "I HATE you all!" She ran past the trees.
"I'm finding my own place! You've poisoned this one!" Mylith screamed. Yima growled.
"I still love you," she comforted.
"Me, too," Aleu said.
"OH!" Jenna sobbed, falling on her side.
"MOM!" Yima and her siblings screamed, while Balto cried, "JENNA!"
The next morning Jenna was looking worse. She called all her family to her.
"I love you all, including Mylith," she wwhispered, hoarsely. "My time has come. My heart is broken as is my frail body. Listen, you must forgive Mylith. Your father already has so have I. Yima, do you understand?"
"I do," Yima whispered.
"I love you all," she murmured. Jenna lay down and didn't get up again.

Yima was hunting, two years later. Balto stayed with the pack. She smelled a farmiliar smell and she stopped.
"You," a voice growled. Mylith appeared.
(Mylith's point of veiw)
"You," Yima snarled.
"How's your mommy and daddy," Mylith taunted.
"Mom's dead," Yima growled. Mylith stepped back.
"N-no!" she cried. She began to cry. "You lie!"
"No!" Yima howled.
"She died of heart-break! Thanks alot!" Yima spat.
"Please no. I didn't hate them. I loved them, Yima!" Mylith cried.
"Me, too," Yima whispered. She sat beside her sister.
"I need to go home, to Dad," Mylith whispered. "I was wrong. I love you all."
"I know," Yima whispered. She walked home with her sister. Balto rushed to them.
"Mylith," he gasped.
"Dad," Mylith gasped. "I love you."
"We love you," Aleu said, coming over with their other siblings.
"Family, look for me in your hearts," Jenna's voice said.
"I love you all," Mylith sobbed.
"We love you too," they whispered. "So did Mom."
THE END! I hope you liked it!
