The six different breed of dog sighed as she awoke with a jolt. She had heard neighing and snorting and looked out of the window to see what it was. She snorted at the trailer right infront of the action. Her owner, Scott Mason, was out side with everyone, feeding the horses and dogs that lived at his ranch. The greenwood ranch. Scott's ranch was more of a trianing facility and boading school were horses lived at and trained, then she remembered her fellow horse friends saying another horse, inparticular a stallion would be coming this day. She barked and walked to the door slightly pawed at it and watched it squeak open as she slowly slid her thin red and silver body out.

"Hey! No! Stallion, the stallion, bring him into the barn next to Phili!" Tayula the mixed mutt smiled and looked at her owner then at the stallion, whom was rearing and bucking at the two other men. Tayula barked and Scott patted her head hoping she was be quiet and not disturb the stallion any more. The stallion stopped as Tayula barked, Sshe could finally get a better look at him. he was a forest green with two purples patches around is eyes, a dark blue mane and tail, and a maroon muzzle. A colorful stallion at that. Scott, her owner slowly took a step toward the stallion and held out his hand trying to gain this weary stallion trust. The stallion snorted but let him touch him.

"Ok, Tayler and Matt, take him to the stall next to Phili. Alright?" The two men nodded and led him to the barn. Tayula followed. The stallion snorted and pawed at the ground as the two men tried to get him into the stall, then he finally went in. The two men left but Tayula stayed to talk to this stallion.

"Hello there." The stallion nickered and looked around but found no one. "Stallion down here." The stallion looked at the dog and lowered his head to her and sniffed.

"Hello. I'm Embross, Whom are you?" The stallion answered as he then raised his head looked at her. The green stallion had a warm, studly voice that made her feel protected, though she got the shivers.

"Oh..well I'm Tayula, where do you come from might I ask?" Tayula said in a sweet tone. She looked to the stall next to him and smiled at Phili, whom smiled back.

"You might not want to know that Tayula, I like that name.." Embross said as he shook his head. He looked to the stall of the right of him and smiled at the mare Phili. Phili smiled and looked at him.

"Sorry not to inturrupt anything but I'm Phili, and you are?" She said in a sweet nice voice. The mare was a white apploosa, a very sweet one at that. tayula nodded and smiled at the stallion.

"Oh, I'm Embross and it's very nice to meet you Phili. I suppose I will be your new stable buddy eh?" Tayula giggled quietly and got up.

"I guess I'll see you later Embross. See ya Phili." Tayula smiled and slowly walked out of the barn and saw her owner with Amy. She guessed they were going to let the horses out in the pasture, where they would stay the night. Tayula heard snorted again and knew whom it was. the other Six horses in the one barn were let out into the pasture and Embross was let out with his halter on just in case. Two geldings and four mares. not a good sign for an owner of horses who doesn't want to breed his horses, though a good sign for a stallion. Tayula hoped nothing would happen and knew that it wouldn't be good at all to put him with the other stallion or the next day or the next hour they would find one dead.

"Hey! Embross, what cha up to? Oh! And these are my friends, Masy, and Calla." Phili smiled as she walked to the grazing stallion. The stallion smiled and looked up as the appaloosa rubbed against him. he looked at her and slowly took a step away as if to say, 'please don't that.' Though Phili instead of backing off she moved in closer to him and he stepped away once more. Her friends watched closely and too moved in.

Tayula who was walking turned around to the sound of her name being called by a deep voice.

"Tayula!" Tayula smiled as she turned to the wolf-dog Macon. "I saw you and that stallion in the barn..though I think you might want to have a look at this.." Macon said as he turned and started off the other way. Tayula had a look of concern on her face and ran after the black K-9. When the black flash stopped and pointed his nose to the source of giggling and annoyed snorting, Tayula looked and gasped. She had felt a feeling when she had first started talking to the stallion a feeling she had never felt for a horse.

"Those three mares must be in season, though why isn't he doing anything to them?" macon said as he raised a brow. Tayula shook her head.

"I don't know but thanks for telling me. I'll go check it out.." Tayula said as she trotted off to find what was going on.

"Listen girls..uh I don't want to do this. Um..Tayula!" Embross smiled as he turned his head to the mare as the others followed. tayula snorted and looked at the three mares suspiciouly. The three didn't usually act like that, let alone even hang out. The must havre been in season cause they sneered at her.

"Hey girls whats going on? Leave him alone.." The three mares snickered and started their way toward her.

"Why should we?" Phili said.

"Well, first off you mare don't even hang out with each other, and you are with the stallion, so.."
