The sun slowly rises over the Alasken tundra. It has been a month since Grace and Alastair were taken by a wolf pack. But thanks to the strong spirits of Kodi, Hunter, Stark and Jim, the pups were rescued and the whole thing was never mentioned again. Early in the morning, a plane flies over the mountain and decends into Nome. At the same time Kodi, Dusty and Stark are walking down the main street of town. Stark is holding a very large box in his mouth.

Dusty: So were should we put it?

Kodi: In front of town hall?

Stark: Sound good to me.

They walk for a bit more and Dusty takes a deep breath.

Kodi: You ok?

Dusty: It's all just happening so fast. The pups are ready to find homes, there teething, getting bigger. I feel like I'm getting old.

Stark: Easy Dusty. Lets just take this all one step at a time.

They pass by Hunter's house and he slides out the dog door.

Hunter: Kodi, Stark! Can you help me?

Kodi: Yeah sure.

Dusty: I'll take the box.

Kodi: Ok. Wait for us in front of town hall.

Dusty takes the box and heads down the steet. The box is covering the front of her face so she cant quite see where she's going. She bumps into to something.

Voice: Hey! Watch were your going!

Dusty lets go of the box and looks in front of her. She gasps at the dog in front of her. The dog does the same. Dusty was looking a husky that looked like her in every way. It was so stuning to Dusty. To her, it was like looking into a mirror. Dusty and they dog lean there heads forward and back. Then there paws. They make a few funny faces. They both turn around and look back.

Dusty: Ok enough of that!

Dog: Wow. You look just like me.

Dusty: I dont believe it. I'm Dusty.

Dog: No way that's my name.

Dusty: WHAT!!!?

Dog: Just kidding.

Dusty laughs.

Dog: Name's Jinx.

Dusty: Jinx?

Jinx: Yeah. I was adaopted on friday the 13th.

Dusty: Thats cool. Are you new to Nome?

Jinx: Uh no. My owner was a huge fan of Balto. So she took me with her to see the town that he saved. Did you know Balto?

There is a moment of silence.

Dusty: Yeah. I knew him.

A voice calls out to Jinx. Dusty looks over and sees a young woman.

Woman: Jinx come on girl!

Jinx: Sorry, my girl's calling me.

Dusty: Go ahead. See you around? 

Jinx: Yeah sure!

JInx turns around and runs to her owner. Dusty picks the box back up and runs to town hall. She waits for a bit and sees Kodi and Stark come her way. She runs up to them.

Kodi: Whoa wheres the fire?

Dusty: You wont believe this!!

Kodi: It'll have to wait until later. The dog have called a meeting.

Dusty: Ok.

Later that night, at the hotel, Jinx is on the floor while her owner Lucy is looking out the window. Jinx sees this and walks up to her. Jinx then leaps up and looks out the window. She keeps looking down the street from the window of there hotel room. Lucy sees this. 

Lucy: Your cruious about this place arent you? 

Jinx happily barks at her. This tells Lucy that  Jinx understood her.

Lucy: That's typical of you. I'm getting pretty tired. Why dont you check out this place.

Jinx: wags her tail back and forth. She barks just once. Lucy puts her hand over Jinx's mouth.

Lucy: Shh. There are other people sleeping.

Jinx shakes her head up and down. 

Lucy leads Jinx to the lobby of the hotel. She gets down to Jinx. 

Lucy: Just scratch on the door and I'll let you in. Just dont get lost were leaving tommorow. Ok?  

Jinx pants and licks Lucy across the face a few times. Lucy laughs.

Lucy: I guees that a yes.

She lets Jinx out. Jinx looks around Nome and vists places like the hospital that Balto brought the medicne to, the boiler room where alot of the dogs hang out, the beach where Balto would play with his now grown up pups, and the last stop was the boat that Balto used to live on. She just looks around the deck of the boat and looks out to the sea.

Jinx: Balto. I wish I could have seen a great hero like you.

Jinx then walks back into Nome. She walks down an alley that exits right across from the hotel. However she only makes it half way down that alley. She slips on a patch of ice that is coved by some snow. She hits her head... hard. She lies there on the cold, icy ground. At the same time, Dusty is seen walking home. She's walking in the road and passes by the hotel. She sees a huge patch of ice in front of her. She goes over to the side walk to avoid slipping. She passes in front of the hotel's front door and a huge chunk of snow and ice falls of the roof. This hits Dusty onher head and the back of her neck. She passes out on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. A light turns on, from inside and Lucy comes out.

Lucy: Jinx, is that you I...

She looks in front of her and sees Dusty passed out.

Lucy: Oh my god! Jinx.

She gets closer to Dusty and hears that shes still breathing. But she got hit pretty hard. The worst of this... Dusty and Jinx look like eachother in every way. Even voice and physical apperance. Lucy thinks Dusty is Jinx. Lucy has alot of strength to carrey Dusty up to her room. She takes a huge blanket and wraps Dusty in it.

Lucy: At least were leaving tommorrow.

Shes looking through her bag and pulls out a needle with some type of medicne in it. She numbs a part of Dusty's are and injects her with the medicine.

Lucy: There you go girl. This will keep you out until we get back to LA. I'm sorry, Jinx.

The real Jinx still lies in the alley. As the sun rises over Nome a plane takes off. In it is Lucy and in the cargo is a sedated Dusty. This is a huge mistake. Dusty is on her way to Los Angeles and her loved ones have no Idea. Many hours pass before the plane lands in LA. The sound on the plane landing wakes Dusty up. She lifts her head and bonks it one something.

Dusty: What was that?

She feels dizzy for a few seconds.

Dusty: Oh my head. What happend? Did Luna tell the pups to run over me? Wait!

She looks around her and sees that she is in a dog carrier.

Dusty: What is this?

She sighs in annoyance.

Dusty: Hunter, Dingo, if this is a joke, it sure as hell not funny!!

The cargo hold of the plane opens up.

Dusty: Hunter? 

she hears foots steps comeing. 

Dusty: Willow?  

A guy comes up and takes the carrier on to a huge cart that has more luggage on it. The whole time, Dusty is looking out and sees tall bulidings and is shaking the carrier to break free. It eventually does so. She runs across the runway feild ( I dont know what it's called) and is so sacred. She runs faster than she has ever done since she had to retire from be mail dog to be a mother. There were two things on her mind: Where am I? And how do I get home? 

She then runs up to a fence. She looks down and sees nothing she can climb over. But she does see a hole and bottom of one part of the fence big enough for her to crawl under. She slips under the fence. SHe walks on to a road and is almost hit by an on comeing car. She leaps forward and dodges it. Dusty then runs down an alley. She is paniking and breathing hard.

Dusty: Where am I?

At that moment, she hears some thunder. She looks over and sees a box she can crawl into. She gets in and watchs the rain pour down.

Dusty: Kod, Amber, Alastair. I'll be home soon. At least this cant get any worse.

Nome

It's the middle of the day. Kodi is seen with Luna, Willow and Hunter walking through town. Kodi is walking faster than the others and looking everywhere for Dusty.

Luna: Kodi, calm down. I'm sure shes fine.

Kodi: But what if she's not? She didn't come last night after she went for a walk. Thats not like her.

Luna: Ok, ok. Well keep looking.

They search for Dusty for a while but nothing. However, when they pass by the hotel, Kodi rasies his head up and looks to his left.

Hunter: What is it?

Kodi: You hear that?

They hear some moaning sound comeing from the alley near them. Kodi gets closer. Out of alley apears Jinx.

Kodi: Dusty! There you are. What happend.

Like Lucy, Kodi has got the wrong dog. Jinx and Dusty look like each other in every way.

Jinx: What?

Willow: We've been looking for you. You never came home.

Jinx: I dont what your talking about. Who's Dusty and... where am I? Who are you.

The dog look at each other. Kodi takes a step forward and Jinx takes a step back.

Kodi: Dusty... it me Kodi.

Jinx: I dont know any Kodi. Why do you keep callling me Dusty?

Kodi looks back to the others. The look on his face is like he just like the whole ocean was about to crush him. Luna comes up to Jinx. Luna and Dusty were really close friends and sister's in laws.

Luna: Dusty you cant remeber anything?

Jinx: I just remember walking and slipping on some ice. Then blank. Nothing.

Kodi takes a few deep breath.

Kodi: Ok Dusty... were gonna get you some help ok? Just follow us.

Jinx looks at Hunter, Luna and Willow. They all have concernd looks on there faces.

Jinx (thinking to herself): They do look worried about me. I guess I do know them.

Jinx: Ok.

She says in a quiet tone.

Willow: Follow us.

Luna: Should I go get the others?

Kodi: Yes. But dont tell the pups. I dont want them to be scared.

Luna: Got it.

She runs off in the other direction.

Kodi: Looks like adoption day is postponed.

Back in LA, the rain has stopped. But the sky is coverd in dark clouds. Dusty steps out of the box she was resting in and walk a little bit down the alley. She hears some laughing noise and turns around. Dusty sees two very big dogs.

Dog #1: Well what do we have here?

Dusty: You get away from me!

Dog #2: Oh...mean. I like that.

Dusty takes a few steps back. The dogs run after her and she bolts away. She turns around a corner and stops running when she see a fence in her way. It's to high to jump and there is no crack in it for her to slid through. She turns around and sees the two dogs slowly walking up to her.

Dog #2: Your fast. Lets see what else you can do.

The other dog laughs and Dusty closes her eyes. At that second something jumps over from the other side of the fence. Dusty opens her eyes and sees a husky standing in the other two's way. The husky growls at them. The two dogs try to attack but they were not match for this husky. They run away. The husky runs after them to make sure they dont come back. Dusty crawls out of the shadow and sees the husky come up to her. Dusty gets a better look at him. He looks around her age, a bit taller than Kodi, quite muscular for a dog, his fur is black and white like Steele. But it's not Steele. This husky is more handsome and kinder looking than Steele. She takes one step back, thinking he could try and attack her like those other two.

Husky: You ok?

Dusty: Yes.

Husky: Whew. That's good. Those two would have killed you.

Dusty: Thanks for the help.

Dusty walks past him.

Husky: Hey wait!?

Dusty look back to him.

Dusty: Yes.

Husky: Where you going?

Dusty: Home. If I can find it.

Husky: You lost?

Dusty: Yeah.

Husky: Well then allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jesse and I am here to help.

Dusty: Well... Jesse. I dont think you can help me. I;m not where I'm supposed to be.

Jesse: Where are you supposed to be?

Dusty: Nome, Alaska.

Jesse: What!!? How did that happen?

Dusty: I dont even know. But I need to get home now.

Jesse: Why?

Dusty: Cause my husband and I are supposed to be helping out pups find homes.

Jesse: Husband? Oh man.

Dusty chuckles.

Dusty: Sorry sport. I'm taken.

Much to her shock Jesse sighs and smiles at her.

Jesse: Well then... if you need help...follow me.

Dusty follows Jesse through a few other alleys and across some busy streets. They reach an old abandond buliding and walk along the alley next to it. There is a door that leads to a basement.

Dusty: What is place?

Jesse: You'll see.

Jesse bangs his paw on the door. A dog opens it and lets Jesse in. Dusty tries to follow but the dog stops her.

Jesse: It's ok. She with me.

The dog lets her pass. They walk into a basement and see hundreds of dogs all over the place. Some are laughing, sleeping, talking, and a bunch of other things.

Dusty: Wow. What is this place?

Jesse: My home. If that's what you can call it. I lived on the streets my whole life. But then they found me and kindly took me in. I rose up in the ranks and now...I'm living large. But I still enjoy going around the city looking for dogs that need help. We take good care of them. They can eather live here or go back. Its there choice.

Dusty: Whos this we?

Jesse: Oh I forgot. You wanna know who we are?

Dusty: Yes.

Jesse: Ok then.

He looks over to a dog near a large radio.

Jesse: Sixx!! Hit ti.

Dusty looks over and sees a small dog with really long blond hair. Sixx press a button on the radio and music starts to play.

Kodi is with Willow and Hunter. They are taking Jinx to the boiler room. They set her down in front of the furnace. They bring a blanket in and put it over her.

Jinx: Thanks.

Kodi: Dont mention it.

They sit for a while and not to long later Luna comes back with Dingo, Mila, Stark, Jim, and Sara.

Sara: Dusty!

Jinx, in a litte fear takes a few steps back.

Sara: It's okay. It's me, Sara.

Jinx: I dont know any Sara. I dont know any of you!!

Stark: Ok, ok. Calm down.

JInx sits down and gets under the blanket.

Dingo: Would you like us to let you rest for a while?

Jinx: Yes.

They all leave and close the door behind them. The group gather around.

Kodi: What do think happend?

Willow: She said she hit her head.

Sara: It's to be amnesia.

Mila: What's that?

Sara: If you hit your head hard enough and on the right spot you call loose you memory of everthing and everyone.

Kodi: What!? How long can this last?

Sara: I dont know. But there is a way we can help her.

Stark: If it's for Dusty, i'm not sleeping until we get back to normal.

Hunter: I'd like to you try.

Luna: Not now you two.

Dingo: So how can we help her?

Sara: There is one way.

Jim: We'll try anything.

Sara: If we can show here some of the things we do with her and share some memories, it could cause her to remeber.

Jim: Thats a good idea.

The others nod in agreement. All but Kodi.

Willow: You ok Kodi.

Kodi doesnt say a word.

Hunter: Kodi were gonna get through this.

Kodi: Yeah we are. So what should we do first?

Luna: Dusty's owners got a bunch of pictures of her. Maybe that can help.

Dingo: That's a good idea.

Kodi: I'll show them to her. I'm maybe the best dog to get Dusty to remember everything

 Mila: What about Amber and Alastair? There gonna wonder where there mother is?

There is a moment or two of silence.

Stark: I got an idea.

Later....

Ralph: No way!

Kodi: It's just for a bit.

Ralph: Me and kids do not mix.

Kodi: Iv'e never asked you for anything. I really need you help.

Ralph: Why? Whats going on?

Kodi: Dusty's lost her memory.

Ralph: What?

Kodi: We need to get back to normal. And we someone to watch Amber and Alastair.

Ralph: Kodi look you and I have....

Kodi: You love her to, I know. You can be mad at me. But Dusty chose who she loved. So accept that. I'm here as a friend. Please.

Ralph: Fine. I'll do it for her.

Kodi: Thanks. Kids, come in!

Kodi walks out as Amber and Alastair come in. Kodi pops his head back in.

Kodi: Oh yeah. Watch it, there teething.

Ralph: What!!?

Kodi leaves laughing. He passes by Dusty's house. He walks in a grabs a few pictures of her. Some photos are old and some are more recent.

Kodi: God I hope this works.

He blots out of the house and head to the boiler room.

Los Angeles

Dusty: The saints of Los Angeles, huh?

Jeese: You bet.

Dusty: So how can you help me?

Jesse: We dogs are more capable of what humans think we are.

Dusty: I know that all to well.

Jeese: Ok. The secruety dogs the airport are clients of ours. They give us food and supplies from shipping planes in all that crap. And they get as many bones as they want.

Dusty: And you think they can me on a plane to Nome.

Jesse: I should, yeah. They airport dogs need a little reasoning but if they here your story, they'll help.

Dusty: Should we go talk to them?

Jesse: No need. Theres a radio that we can contanct them with.

Dusty: Cool.

Jesse: Go rest in my room and I'll take care of it.

Dusty: All right. Where is your room.

Jesse: Go up those stairs behind you and keep going until you get to the seventh floor.

Dusty: Got it!

They walk there seperate ways. Jeese does what he promised Dusty and gets on the radio. He tells the dogs at the airport her stroy. They say yes and will find a plane that is headed for Nome. Jesse swaers to himself that he could have herd some crying on the other end of the talk while he was telling them about Dusty. Dusty walks up to the seveth floor of the ten story buliding. It is one huge room that covers the whole floor. When she enters it there are many... items ( thats the best way I can put it) everywhere. Well drawn paintings, old looking weapons (like a collection), and various other things.

Dusty: Wow!

She on to a bed and looks out the window that the bed is leaned up to. She gets a full veiw of the city. She is amazed on how big it is. The bulidings are taller than anything Dusty has ever seen.

Voice: You like it?

Dusty looks back and sees Jesse.

Dusty: It's great veiw.

Jesse: Yeah. This is my city.

Dusty: It's way bigger than Nome.

Jesse: Whats it like in Nome?

Dusty sits down on the edge of the bed and Jesse sits down on the floor.

Dusty: It's small, cold, wild, but yet.., its all I need.

Jesse: How so?

Dusty: Kodi. He's my mate for life.

Jesse: Kodi!?

Dusty: What? Did I say something?

Jesse: I know that name. Hold on!

Jesse gets up runs to a wall not to far from the bed. Dusty sees him searching through a bunch of newspapers on the floor. He picks one up and brings it up to Dusty. On the paper is a Artice that is titled " Balto the hero of Nome does it again" She sees a picture of Duke the pilot Balto saved, Balto and Kodi.

Jesse: Is that Kodi?

Dusty: Yeah thats him.

Jesse: You must love him alot.

Dusty: YOu have no idea.

Jesse: You said you had pups with him right?

Dusty: Yeah. Amber and Alastair.

Jesse: Dont worry. The airport dogs said yes. It'll take a few hours for them to find something. Why dont you get some rest.

Dusty: Good Idea. I'll sleep on the floor.

Jesse: No way! You can have my bed.

Dusty: Thanks for all this kindness.

Jesse: Since your related to Balto...you have my upmost respect.

Dusty: You about Balto?

Jesse: I herd about what happend in 1925. Balto showed me that we all have an inner strength that comes to us when we need it.

Dusty: Really?

Jesse: Alot of the saints keep going cause of Balto. Since he helped out Nome... we what we can here.

Dusty: Wow. Have you found yours?

Jesse: Not yet. But... who knows. Anyway get some rest.

Dusty: Ok.

Jesse gets up and walks out of the room. Dusty esaliy falls asleep.

Nome

Kodi walks into the boiler room, just as Jinx wakes up.

Kodi: Did that nap help you any?

Jinx: Not really...Kodi right?

Kodi: Yes. And your name?

Jinx: I still dont think I'm this Dusty you all say I am.

Kodi: I thought you might say that. So I brought you a few things that may help you.

Jinx: Like what?

Kodi lays out a few pictures that he brought from Dusty's house. Jinx looks at a few of them. She sees a picture of Dusty on the day she was adopted.

Jinx: Is this me?

Kodi: Yes. The day you found a home.

Jinx glances away and closes her eyes. At that moment, memory passes through her head. She sees herself in a box on a street. A girl comes up and pick Jinx up. The memory ends at that second. Jinx opens her eyes and takes a deep breath.

Kodi: What? Do you got something?

Jinx: I remeber. But somethings wrong.

Kodi: What?

Jinx:I was taken home by a girl. In other pictures my owner is a boy.

Kodi: That's cause you were a birthday present. Your owner's mom pick you up. She then gave you to her son.

Jinx: This so weird. I dont think any of these pictures are gonna help.

Kodi takes a deep sigh and pulls the pictures away.

Kodi: I tired.

Jinx: But...

Kodi looks at her.

Jinx: I can tell one thing. Even though I dont remeber anything, you say that you and I are mates for life right?

Kodi: Yes... yes we are.

Jinx: I can tell that you must care about me, if your doing all of this to get my memory back.

Kodi: It true Dusty. I love you more than anything on this earth. You and I have been through alot.

Jinx: Like what?

Kodi: Where do I begin...?

Kodi tells Dusty about many dangers and adventures they have been through with Balto and the rest of Kodi's family. This includes there fitst date, time traveling to the future to NYC, the Lady and Tramp situation, and many other things.

Jinx: Did all that really happen?

Kodi: Yeah. You told me about how much you loved going on adventures to places beyond this little town. I wished we could have done that.

Jinx: Why didn't we?

Kodi opens his mouth but a thought passes through his head.

Kodi ( thinking to himself): I better not tell her about Amber and Alastair. Not yet. I'll just lie.

Kodi: Well we you see... my parents died. It was about ten months ago. You loved my parents.

Jinx: I did?

Kodi:  You looked up to my dad as a hero and my mom as a great friend and role modle.

Jinx: Really?

Kodi: Yes.

Kodi looks out the window and sees that the sun is starting to set.

Kodi: Its kind of getting late. You'll need some more rest.

Jinx: Ok.

Kodi: Mabye I can think of something else that'll help you.

Kodi leaves the boiler room. Outside, he walks past a wooden board lean up aganist the building. He takes a deep breath and growls. It's a quiet one but it gets louder. He takes one of his front paws swings it at the wooden board breaking it. He stops and a few tears run down his face. He whips them off and walks back home. As he does music starts to play in his head.

Kodi walks up to his house and lies on the front porch. He closes his eyes and set his head down. He snaps it back up and stairs into space. 

Kodi: I feel like I'm forgetting something. Nah.

A few blocks away....

Amber: Uncle Ralphie! Come out where ever you are!

Alastair: Man he is a good hider.

In a closet.

Ralph: I'm gonna kill Kodi for this.

Amber's voice: I think I herd him.

Ralph: Shit!.

Los Angeles

The sun has fully set. Jesse comes back into his room. He is balancing a plate of food on his head. Dusty wakes up and sees him coming up to her.

Dusty: What... are you doing?

Jesse: Giving you some food.

Dusty: Oh that was nice of you.

Jesse set down the plate on the bed. Dusty sees a few pieces of beef.

Jesse: You like beef?

Dusty: Love it!

Dusty eats her food and Jesse sits down in front of the bed. Dusty looks over and sees a picture of NYC. Dusty chuckles for a second and it catchs Jesse's ears.

Jesse: What?

Dusty: That's a great picture of New York City you got.

Jesse: Oh yeah. The old owner didn't think so.

Dusty: What do you mean?

Jesse: I passing through the alley behind a art mueum and I saw this thing up to the wall. I liked it so took it and kept it for myself. As I did for all of these. Have been to New York?

There is sort of a akward moment of silence.

Dusty: Yeah I have... but.... never mind.

Jesse: No, tell me. Did something happen?

Dusty: It's kind of a secret. You wouldn't beleive me.

Jesse: I can keep a secret. Try me.

Dusty sees that he is looking at her strait in the eyes. He's not lying.

Dusty: Ok. Well one night I was sleeping with Kodi and...

( She tells him about the events of my fanfic Dogs of New York 2: Back to the city. You do not have to read the first one)

Jesse: You were cut across the chest by a sword and lived!!?

Dusty: Yeap.

Jesse: I can beleive all that happed. And I never tried car surfing before.

Dusty: It's not that hard. You just need strong feet.

Jesse is quiet for a seocnd.

Dusty: I know you must think I'm crazy but...

Jesse: No I dont. And as crazy as that sounded... I beleive it.

Dusty: Really.

Jesse: Yes. By the tone in your voice and the way that you told it, there is no way that did not happen. 

Just then, a dog comes in.

Dog: Jess, the airport dogs are back on the radio.

Jesse: Come on Dusty.

They bolt all the way back to the basement. Jesse puts on a set of headphones.

Jesse: Yes?

On the radio: There is a plane going back to Nome tonight.

Jesse: Dusty, your going home.

Dusty: Yes!!

Jesse: Wait.

Dusty: What?

Jesse: Thanks.

He takes off the head phones.

Jesse: How fast can you run?

Dusty: I was on the Nome mail team.

Jesse: Thats good to know.

Dusty: Why?

Jesse: The plane takes off in about a half hour and its a fourty five minute walk to the airport from here.

Dusty: Shit!! I gotta go now!

Dusty starts to run but stops.

Dusty: Jesse, why dont you lead the way. I dont know how to get to the airport.

Jesse: Of couse.

Jesse and Dusty bolt out of the buliding. Dusty takes one look back at the building. She turns around and runs through the streets of LA. The plane takes off in about fifteen minutes. They run through the alley where Dusty first met Jesse. They get near the end of it but pull to a hault. At the end of the alley that is right across the street from the airfeild, two dogs are standing in there way. They are the same dogs that tried to attack Dusty eariler. They both look very mad. Jesse takes a step forward and growls at them. Much to his shock, Dusty comes up right next to him growling at the two dogs.

Jesse: Dusty?

Dusty: Two on two is a more fair fight. Dont you think?

Jesse: It's to dangrus. Let me handle them

Dusty: We need to work together?

Jesse look at Dusty. He could tell by the tone in hr voice that she is serious.

Jesse: All right then!

The Dusty leaps at one of the dogs, while Jesse charges at the other one. Dusty barrel rolls into the street. She lets go of the dog and she keeps rolling and stops on the other side of the street. Dusty looks back and sees the  

Dog # 2: Ok. I done with you. Your dead bitch.

His voice is alomost demon like. Dusty takes few steps back. But something happens. The dog is so foucused on Dusty he does not see the oncomeing car. The dog is shoved away and killed by the car. Dusty takes a few quick breaths. She did not see the car comeing.

In the alley, the other dog has Jesse pinned to the ground.

Dog # 1: That girl is as good as ours!

Jesse: NO!!

At that moment, Jesse uses his paws and pushes the dog off him. But what is amazing is that the weight of the dog was like lifting air. Jesse gets back up.

Jesse: What was that?

It took him a moment but he realized what this was. Jesse continues to fight the dog and end up pinning him to the ground. He puts his head closer to the dog's face.

Jesse: You said she was yours? I got some new for you...she's taken.

Jesse then tears the skin on the dog's neck off. Jesse walks away as the dog bleeds out and dies. He joins Dusty waiting for him at the fence.

Dusty: Are you ok? There blood everywhere!

Jesse: It's not mine. I'm fine.

He shakes it off. They both look to the airfeild.

Dusty: Which one its.

Jesse points to an Alasken Airline plane.

Jesse: That's an airline company that was just made. It'll take you back to Nome.

Dusty: I guess this is it. Thank for all this kindness you gave me. I just wish I could repay you.

Jesse: I think if we met a few years ago, I would have you to stay. But you have a husband and kids who need you. But there is another way you could repay me.

Dusty: How?

Jesse: The saints have groups in alot of major city's. And you said that youve helped out alot of animals in Nome right?

Dusty: Yes.

Jesse: I was wondering if you and your family could concider your selfs one of us.

Dusty: You mean help other animals like dogs and wolves?

Jesse: Exaticly.

Dusty: Absoulutely! I'll do it.

Jesse: Good for you. Now get on the plane! Go.

Dusty rubs her face along Jesse's cheek. Dusty passes through a hole in the fence and runs to the plane. She hass to sneek past a few humans but she makes it on to the plane. The plane takes off and Jesse watchs.

Jesse: Good bye Dusty.

The sun rises over the Alasken tundra. The sun's light reflects off the graves of Balto and Jenna. Jinx is seen walking through Nome. She is alone.

Jinx: Maybe a walk will help. That boiler room is boring.

A few seconds later she bumb into something. Jinx falls to the ground and shakes her head back and forth. She looks up.

Jinx: Dusty?

It's Dusty.

Dusty: You.

Jinx: Me.

Dusty: You and I gotta talk.

Jinx: Wait.

A whole set of memories comes back to her. She rembers everything.

Jinx: You gave me my memories back!

Dusty: What?

Jinx: I lost my memory. Then Kodi... oh.

Dusty: Kodi what?

Jinx: Kodi though I was you cause we both look exaticly alike. He tried to get my memories back.

Dusty: You Kodi has no Idea I was gone?

Jinx: Why were where you?

Dusty: LA.

Jinx: You in my city?

Dusty: I passed out in front of the hotel. Your owner must have thought I was you.

Jinx: Where's my owner?

Dusty: LA. Wondering where you are I'd guess.

Jinx: I have get home.

Dusty: Dont worry theres a plane that'll take you home. It leaves in a few hours.

Jinx Thank god. We got to tell Kodi.

Dusty: Wait. I got a better idea.

Boiler Room.

Kodi: Dusty!? Where'd she go?

Jinx: Right here.

Kodi turns around and sees Jinx.

Kodi: Where were you?

Jinx: I was just taking a walk and I fell on the ground.

Kodi: Are you ok?

Jinx: Better... I remember everything!

Kodi: You do?

Jinx: Yep!

Kodi: Thats great!

Jinx comes up to Kodi and rubs her face across Dusty's neck.

Voice: KODI!!!!

Kodi looks over and sees the real Dusty.

Kodi: Dusty!!!?

Jinx: Dusty!?

Dusty: Jinx!!?

Kodi: Jinx!!?

Jinx: Kodi!!

Dusty walks up to them.

Dusty: Who is this.

Kodi: Clones!?

Jinx: Who's she?

Dusty: I'm his wife or ex.

Kodi: Wait! Dusty...Jinx but I.. they...who... WHATS GOING ON HERE!!?

Jinx and Dusty look at each other and start to laugh.

Kodi: What?

Jinx: Got yah!

Dusty: Told you it would be funny.

Kodi: What are you talking about. And which one of you if my mate?

Dusty: Me. It's me Kodi.

Kodi: Then whos this?

Jinx: My name is Jinx. Dusty was mistaken for me and was taken to Los Angeles. I lost my memory and you all thought I was Dusty.

Kodi: Are you serious?

Dusty: Yeah.

Kodi: Oh my god! I'm a moron!

Jinx: No shit.

Kodi: Dusty, I'm so sorry. How did you get back?

Dusty: Intresting story. But how about I tell this to everyone?

A little later Dusty tell her whole story to Kodi, Jinx, Stark, Luna, Mila. Dingo, Sara, Jim, Willow, and Hunter.

Jinx: I know about the saints.

Mila: I dont beleive that.

Hunter: We got the wrong girl?

Luna: Wow I feel like an idoit.

Sara: Like always?

Luna: Shut up.

Stark: These saints want us to be like them?

Dusty: Kind of. But we have been through alot that makes them apart of them right?

Hunter: Shes got a point. I'd do it.

The others nod in agreement.

Dingo: So what about Jinx? She's got to get home.

Dusty: Crap the plane!

Jinx: I got to go!

All of them bolt out of the boiler room and hide out near the plane.

Jinx: I wont forget any of you.

Luna: It was nice knowing you.

The others say goodbye. They watch as Jinx gets on the plane and take off. All the others walk away. But Dusty looks to the plane until it's out of site.

Dusty: Thank you Jesse. I would have been lost without you.

Kodi: Come on Dusty lets go home.

Dusty: Yeah, we got pups that need homes.

Kodi stops dead in his tracks.

Dusty: What?

Kodi: I think know what I was forgeting.

Ralph's house.

Ralph: Kodi is so dead!

He is being chased all over the house by Amber and Alastair.

LA.

Jesse sleeps in his bed. In another part of the city, Jinx walks up to her owner's house. She looks in the window and sees Lucy crying. She smiles and uses her claws to ring the door bell. She then takes a few steps back and waits for Lucy. The moment the door creeps open, she bolt right at Lucy and pins her to the floor. Lucy shouts in exitment as Jinx licks her face. The closes and Jinx is home. But she will never forget what happend in Nome. Back in Nome...Dusty is asleep. With her head resting on Kodi warm chest. And leaning aganist her is Amber and Alastair. Who never know what was going on. Until there old enough to understand.
