''Kodi! Kodi!'' yelled the musher.When kodi heard his name being called he ran.'' There you are boy''said the musher as he patted Kodi on the head. Kodi wondered why his musher was calling him they wern't suppose to run for another hour.'' Listen boy we have a proplem. Dusty cant run today she broke her paw so we need another dog and i think your old man would be best to lead the team. . Can you find him for me?''asked his musher. Kodi barked a yes. ''I'll take that as a yes'' laughed the musher. ''Mom , dad!!'' yelled Kodi when he saw them. ''hello son'' said balto. ''Dad theres a big problem'' said kodi of breath . what is it mabey i can help. ''Well we were kind of hoping you would. you see dusty broke her leg and we need someone to lead""oh i see ,and you want me to lead im asming ? " "well yeah , could you, please?'' pleaded Kodi " well since i know how much this means to you........... i guesse i could " said Balto . Oh come on Balto you know your answer is yes'' said jenna teseing. "thanks dad " said Kodi .

                                                Meanwhile......                                        

"ROWA  !!!!!!!!!!!" if you heard that in the raven claw clan you would know it was the alfa yelling for his young red trickister of a daughter who was wise but  always getting in truble. "ROWA!!!'' yelled sammiea once again."Coming PaPa " yelled Rowa. "sorry Derek my dad wants me "she told her best friend. "it's ok Rowa i have to go anyway momma will womder where i am" (derek lived in a rivel pack both their packes were at war but they still hung out with each other). He relpied shaking the snow off  his golden coat . "rowa come a storm is coming "said sammiea. ''ok papa " "the whole clan is going back to the den " said sammiea.

MEANWHILE.........

The strom had hit and sled dog team was lost in a masive freak snow storm .DAD WHERE ARE WE?!!" Kodi asked his father. I DONT KNOW KODI!!"Balto yelled over the wind. There musher was hafe frozen to death and they were lost in a snow storm. Then Ralf collapased . I'm sorry Kodi but we cant go on " said balto as another dog fell to the ground . It's not your fault , dad" said Kodi , knowing he was going to die soon. Then in then he heard a faint growl."Dad whats that sound?"he asked looking up. "I thinks its wolves " he said looking out to the distances. then the growl turned into a mencing snarl. The wolf pounced at Duke and in one fawl swoop Duke was dead. Kodi got a surge of anger and he jumped on the red wolfs back. The wolf was bigger and stronger than Kodi and easly had him on the ground. the wolf bit him on the back of his neck and throw him into a large bolweder. "NOO!!!" shouted Balto. the red wolf looked up and when his eyes rested on Balto he backed away with pure terro in his eyes. Then he ran away. "KODI!!" Balto yelled as ran to his dying son. Then he was out cold.

MEANWHILE.......................

"DAD WHATS THAT OVER THERE!!!!" shouted Rowa over the wind when she saw a figure lying down. "I DONT KNOW. BUT WE BETTER GO SEE WHAT IT IS!!" shouted Sammiea. The clan went over to the figure and found out it was a dog sled team. They were all out cold. some even dead! Rowa noticed two doges had there thoart bitten hard and one of them there shoulder was bleeding. One was dead and one was not. "DAD WE HAVE TO HELP THEM!!" exclaimed Rowa. "WE CAN'T THERE DOGS NOONE WILL EXAPET THEM OUT HERE!!" argued her father. "BUT DAD ME AND YOU HAVE SOME DOG IN US AND WERE EXAPTED!!" " FINE! CLAN ! HELP TH ONES WHO ARE ALIVE AND BRING THE HUMAN AND SLED TOO!" shouted Sammiea. Rowa lefted the red one with the bleeding shoulder, and lefted him on her back. then she noteiced that noone would take the grey one who was nexted to the one she was carrying. so she lefted him to.

They were walking up the maution to the den when suddenly under the exera weight she was carrying the legd she was walking on broke off. the last thing she heard was "ROWA!!!!" then everything went black.

"What happened?" then it all came back to her. helping the dogs. going up the moutian. falling.She ached all over. she got up and saw a cave. she carryed the doges to it. She layed them in the middle of it.

                                 MEANWHILE...................

"SAMMIEA WE HAVE TO GO ON!!. YOU'LL JUST HAVE TO EXAPTE THE FACT THAT ROWA IS DEAD!! shouted alou to Rowa's father.Alou had joined the pack when all of her pack had been slaughtered by Red Diamand, the son of the Red wolf. The Red Wolf is a spirt wolf. She is the spirt of war. as her blood red coat is stained with the blood of her emineies.

                                  MEANWHILE....................

"What happened? where are we? and who are you?" asked Kodi  as he and the other dog awakened."Me and my clan found you and saved you from frezing to death then we fell off a cilff. I think the others are at the den. And were in a cave. And I'm Rowa" she explained. "and noe that i told you who i am i think its only right you tell me who you are"

"Im Balto and this is my son Kodi' said Balto.

"My mom use to tell me stories about a wolf/dog named   Balto" said Rowa. Rembering her mother gave her a sharp pain in the heart.She had seen her mother being killed.

"Whats your mothers name?" asked Balto

"Her name was Inuea" said Rowa

"Inuea, I've herd that name befour'' said Balto.

Up close she could tell that both of them had a bit of wolf in them. And she noticed that the red one was very handsome.

Balto noticed how red Rowa's fur is. She looked so fsmilliar. Then he knew where he had seen her befour! "YOUR THE ONE WHO KILLED DUKE AND TRIED TO KILL MY  SON!!" he bellowed.

"What! i didn't kill anyone! im the one that helped you!" she exclaimed. Then she heard a howl. She knew that howl. It is Red Dimond of the blood fang clan's howl.Then she herad other howls join in.Balto was growling  and shouting at her they would him and come to kill them.

"please be quiet for a bit" whispbered Rowa

"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME GIRL?!!" shout Balto

"Please be quiet" she repeted.

"Well you know what I'll shut him up for you dear sister" said a evil sinicker behind them.

"Don't do anything you'll reget young child'' said another wichitted voice.

"Yes we wouldn't want the daughter of the red wolf to get hurt" said another

It was just as she fertted. her broth had traked her down and and now he would kill all of them. they were closing in on her.She was going to die was what was going though her mind. Then the frist one bit her she bit back. Another was on her back. they were all on her bitting clawing and scatching.

One of them though her and she laned right at Balto's feet. she looked up at him with her sad sea green eyes then rested her head on the ground.

"Dad we can't just leve her to die" said Kodi.

"Kodi! she killed Duke and tried to kill you!" exclaimed Balto.

"But dad she saved us from frezing to death! if she wanted to kill us why didn't she just leave us there!" protested Kodi. even though he only just meet her he felt for this wolf. and she was very beaitful.

One of the wolves jumped at Rowa. Kodi jumped at it he bit it hard then spat out the blood.

''What's wrong? don't like the tast of blood you little hafe breed" said a wolf.

A wolf went for Kodi's neck but Rowa took him down.

seeing his son fight and Rowa saving him made Balto belive that he was wrong about Rowa. "hey your that hafe breed I tried to kill" said the one who claimed to be Rowa's brother.

"you tried to kill them Dimond? " asked Rowa

"of corse it was me and im gonna finish off what i stared" he snarled and befour anyone knew it he was holding onto Kodi's thoart with shrap fangs. Rowa jumped on his back and staredto tear up his back. Diamond let out a sherike of pain.

"YOU BOOD TRAIDOR!" he sherkied.

"WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO TASTE THE BLOOD OF A TRAIDOR!!'' shouted diamond and they turned and left.

''That was your brother" said Kodi in pain as he spat out more blood.

"yes " said Rowa

"I'm sorry, that i accused you of killing Duke" said Balto

"It's ok, we usally get mistaken for each other"

"well i don't know about you to but i'm going to sleep" said Balto

"goodnight dad" said Kodi

When Balto had fallen asleep Kodi said "I'm sorry my dad said those things"

"It's ok"

"No really, he dosn't show his emotions that offtin but i know he's really sorry" said Kodi

" Are you ok?" Rowa asked with conserin in her eyes and voice.

"What do you mean?"he asked.

"Your neck it's bleeding bad" she said

Kodi then relized how much he pained all over. Rowa licked his neck, it made the pain go away every time her tough toched him. Then he noticed he was blushing.Then he noticed her ear was bleeding and her began licking it. when she stoped he stoped to.

"Is that better?" she asked

"yeah, thanks" said kodi

Balto listened to those words and his mucles tensed. He was pretending to be asleep so he could hear them talking. As soon as he heard that she was the daughter of the red wolf he knew that she was bad news. he was getting tired but he wouldn't fall asleep.

"Rowa, um how did you find us in the storm?" asked Kodi.

"just good eye sight and a sence of smell" said Rowa. She really liked Kodi and up close she could tell that he had some wolf in him.

"It's odd how the wind howls just like a wolf "said Kodi

Rowa listened ."hey thats not the wind! It's my pack!" she exclaimed.

"They sound so sad" said Kodi.

"They think were dead" said Rowa. "tomorow i'll take you to the rest of your team and your human" said Rowa.

"you saved the our musher!"exclaimed Kodi in a surprised tone.

"I know humans kill wolves but... they were happy to help once they saw who he was" said Rowa remembering him.

"what do you mean?" asked Kodi 

"well when i was a pup rabies were very bad around our teritory. then my dad he's the alfa. was bitten by a rabbied wolve it was bad if he died there wouldn't be anyone to take over. so there would be fighting and killing till someone won. and if he died i would have to take over and since i was only a pup i would be killed quitly. then he came he gave my father somekind of needle and then he was fine. And he saved our land from being distroyed" explained Rowa.

"I had no idea that he did that" said kodi.

"I don't know about you but i'm going to sleep" said Rowa. going in the corner and laying down.

Kodi stod there for a few mintues then he made up his mind and layed down by Rowa.

Rowa felt Kodi's body next to  her's .

Kodi noticed that her ear was bleeding again so he begain licking it again.

It relaxed her and soon she fell asleep.

After a little while Balto woke up. He looked around for Kodi. He found him lying in the corrner with Rowa. she had her head on his paws. Balto swore when they left that he 'd do anything to protect Kodi. And keeping him away from Rowa was definaly protecting him.

Rowa was the frist to wake. She was glad for that because her head was resting on Kodi's paws when she woke. It would have been so embarcing. To pass the time she went hunting. she was still weak from yesterday so she got 3 rabitts . she ate one then took the rest back. she layed one by Balto and one by Kodi. She looked at Kodi. he was so handsome. But she knew he would never like her. He's a huskey and shes a wolf. Two differnt worlds. She went outside to look at the sunrise.

When Kodi woke up he was starving. Then he saw that someone had left him a ribitt. He figured it was Rowa since his dad was still alseep. He looked around for her then saw her outside looking at the sunrise. She looked so beuityful there he thought. He ate his rabit then went out to see her. "hey" said Kodi.

"hi" replied Rowa. "your dad looks very familaire she said.

"really?" said Kodi surprised.

"yes. when he wakes up i'll take bothof you to the rest of your team." she said.

"Goodmorning" said Balto.

"morning dad"

"Good morning"

"Can you take us to the rest of the team now, Rowa?" asked Balto.

"Yes come she said"

They started up the mountain. It was very steap .

"Is this where we fell?" asked Kodi.

"yes this is the spot" said Rowa

Balto looked down and said "wow were luckey  to be alive"

"do you hear something?" asked Kodi.

"It;s my pack!" said Rowa exictedly. Then she howled.

They answered. " There coming!" she exclaimed. She ran ahead.

"PaPa!!!!" shouted Rowa. There standing on top of the moutian was a big gray wolf. Rowa ran up to him and nuzzled him.

"I was so sad, Rowa, I thought you were dead" he said.

Now that he was closer Balto could tell that he had some dog in him.

"hello, i'm sammiea" said the wolf to balto and Kodi.

"i'm Balto and this is my son Kodi" replied Balto.

"Rowa where did you gets theses cuts? Was it..........." sammiea traled off but Rowa still knew who he was talking about.

Rowa nodded. She knew she diddn't have to though. her dad always could tell what she was thinking. She didn't know how but she knew he could tell.

"Thank you for helping my daughter"said Sammiea as he turned to Kodi.

"Your welcome, but how did you know?" asked Kodi.

"A father knows" is all he said.

"He's right " said Balto with a seriouse exoreison.

"Rowa!!!" shouted a brown-gray wolf. the two stared to wresle. then Kodi relized who she was.

"Alue? is that you?" he asked.

"Kodi! PaPa!"shouted alue. she nuzzled them both.

"You know them?" asked Rowa.

"Yeah there my brother and papa"

"you saved them! Rowa oh thankyou!!" she shouted.

                                THAT EVENING...........

Kodi and Rowa were standing on a top of a rock looking at the sun set.

"I never knew the sun set was so beuitful" said Kodi.

"It is wonderful" replied Rowa.

"Just like you" said Kodi steping closer to her. He loved her since he frist layed eyes on her and he felt he would have to find out if she felt the same.

"oh Kodi" she said as she steped closer and rubed her head aginst his chest.

From behind a tree Sammiea saw it all. he would have no daughter of his falling in love with a dog!! but then he noticed Akaca walking toward them.'they will be fine for tonight' he thought.

"Rowa!" said a voice from behind them.

Rowa sun around. It was Akaca! "oh no" she muttered.

"Rowa, huny i'm so glad your ok" said Akaca

"Akaca can you ever just leave me alone!" exclaimed Rowa.

" thats it Rowa i tried to be nice about but you leave me n choice" snarled Akaca corrnering Rowa in  the rock.

"Rowa" said kodi going to help her but another snarling wolf jumped infront of him.

"Now Rowa you will have my pruebred sons that i need" he snarled.

"Never will i ever have your sons" said Rowa.

"oh yes you will" snarled Akaca and in secondes he was on her back. she tried to shake him off but she couldn't. Then Kodi lept forward and knocked Akaca off her. Rowa also fell to the ground.

"you!" snarled Akaca. Then soon they were fighting.

"Stay out of this" shouted Akaca as the other wolf charged at Kodi.

Then Kodi snaped at Akaca throat and Akaca backed away.

"You just wait i'll get you some day" he snarled and then he left.

"Kodi oh , thank you''she said as she rubbed her head aginst his chest.

"Are you all right ?" asked Kodi turning to her.

Rowa looked into his eyes. It was pure concern. "I'm fine, thanks to you" she licked his cheek and nuzzled him. "Thank you so much" she repeted.

That night Rowa and Kodi slepted there together, side by side.

Akaca had a plan to get that mutt out of the pack so he could have Rowa all to himself.

The nexted day he went up tp the alfa (Rowa's dad) and said this. "Sammiea! Sammiea!" "What is it ?" he asked. "It's Rowa! That mutt Kodi tried to rape her!" said Akaca.

"What!" sammiea shouted. Then he went on top of the rock and yelled.

"My brother and sisters! there is a deivl amonsrt us. Someone has raped my daughter and your childs babysitter and our furture leader!" the wovles were shocked. everyone liked Rowa. "He shall be killed!" there were murmers  of aproval. "The name of this devil is Kodi!!"

Balto was shocked it was Kodi!
