There is a long moment of scilence.
The girls:...were pregnent.
Hunter: What!!!?
Kodi: Eh.
Jim faints
Stark: Hmm!?
Dingo: Were gonna be...fathers?
Mila: Yes.
Jim gets back up and the guys looks at each other.
Kodi: That's wonderful.
Dingo: Our own family. Your hear that mom, dad?
Dusty: What better place to tell you?
Jim: Your right about that.
They all stand in front of Balto and Jenna's graves and howl.
The girls are pregnent. The guys are gonna be dads. What adventures will the future hold?
The answer to that is about to be shown.
There is not much for me to tell you about the weeks before all the pups were born. But a few major things were....
Dusty was super hungrey 24/7. Kodi kept bringing her food from the markets or bucher night and day.
Mila was often up in the middle of the night. Dingo had to make sure she was ok. But he often fell asleep and Mila had to wack him on the head to wake him up.
Sara and Jim have spent most of there time trying to find out good names for the pups. But...could never agree on any names.
Luna often slept most of the time. And Stark was always at her side. Sleeping of course.
Willow would often sleep. But she calls to Jenna in her dreams asking her about how to be a mother.
Then one cold winter night a sudden small strike of pain occued in there stomachs. The good news was that it was time. But the bad news... all girls went into labor on the same night. There mate's carried them on there backs to the boiler room. Doc was ready for the pups to come. But he did not expect this. The girls were left alone in the boiler room with Doc, while the guys waited outside. There were all nervous.
Kodi: Well guys this is it.
Jim: Were gonna be dads.
Hunter: Mom and dad would have been proud to see this.
Dingo: I miss them. Dad's strong spirit, Mom's kindness. And all those adventures we shared. I wish those would have never ended.
Stark: But think of this... we can start our own adventures. Sometimes when old adventure's die....
Jim: New ones start.
Kodi: And tonight... is a new start.
At that moment Doc comes out of the boiler room. The guys gather around him. Doc is smileing at them.
Kodi: Well?
Doc: It was not easy...but I did it. My friends... you all fathers of perfectly healthy pups. I say no more. Good night.
Doc walks away. The slowly walk in and see small little puff balls nursing on there moms. Kodi sits at Dusty's side and sees two little pups. A boy with the same fur color as Kodi and a girl with the same fur color as Dusty. Kodi smiles as he looks at his pups. A tear starts to fall down his face and Dusty uses her tail to whip it off.
Kodi: There so cute. Just like you.
Dusty: And you.
Kodi: What shold we name them?
Dusty: Well... I was thinking... I always liked the name Alastair. It means a great defender.
Kodi: Alastair. I like it.
Dusty: You chose the girl.
Kodi: Well... I'm not sure. She look like an Amber to me.
Dusty: Then Amber and Alastair it is.
Hunter sits at Willows side. He dosent take his eyes off the three pups. Two of them are boys and a girl. One boy has Hunter's fur color pattern. WHile the other two have Willow's light blue and white color's.
Hunter: So... what are we gonna name them?
Willow: Well...
She looks at the boy that has the same fur color as Hunter. A thought passes through her.
Willow: Icarus.
Hunter looks to Willow in shock.
Hunter: That's the name of the song I made for my dad.
Willow: I know.
Hunter: I like it. Icarus it is.
Willow: And the girl?
Hunter: You can choose it.
Willow: Bella?
Hunter: That's a good name. Bella. I was thinking Dominic, for the last one.
Willow: Good or Dom for short.
Hunter: Icarus, Bella and Dom.
Willow: Our pups.
They passonitly nuzzele each other. Dingo and Mila only have one pup. This is a shock to everyone. But Dingo and Mila do not care. They are both happy that they are the parents of a beautiful boy. He has the same fur pattern as Mila. All brown. But like Mila, the fur from his knees down are pitch black.
Dingo: He's got your fur color.
Mila: And your spirit.
Dingo: I was thinking Zuko.
Mila: Why Zuko?
Dingo: These something about him. He has a dark yet strong and kind spirit.
Mila: I like that name.
Dingo: Lets just make sure nothing ever bad happens.
Mila: He's your son. He'll be ok.
Dingo: I guess I'm just a little exited and scared. Zuko will be ok.
Sara and Jim have brought four pups into this world. Two boys and two girls. Both of the boys have there dad's light brown fur. While the girls have there mother's light red and snow white fur.
Jim: We did good.
Sara: Yeah we did. So what should we name them?
Jim: I'll name one boy and one girl and you do the same. Deal.
Sara chuckels
Sara: Deal. You first.
Jim: Ok. The boy... Jacob.
Sara: Perfect name.
Jim: And the girl...well let me think. How about...Elle?
Sara: Good. And more my boy...Cole.
Jim looks at Sara.
Jim: My father?
Sara: As a thanks for bringing the one I love into this world.
Jim smiles and rubs his nose across Sara's cheek.
Sara: And the girl? Well... how about Grace?
Jim: That's a great name.
Sara: So Jacob, Cole, Elle, and Grace.
Jim: Our pups. Do you think we can raise them?
Sara: Yes we can. With all the others at our side, we will.
Last we turn to Stark and Luna. They are now the parents of two boys. One with Stark's red and white fur and the other with Luna's snow white fur.
Stark: Wow.
Luna: Yeah. I cant believe it.
Stark: We did it. I wish my parents could have seen this.
Luna: There are. Right now there watching us.
Stark: Then lets let them watch us name the boys.
Luna: The one that looks like you looks like a James to me.
Stark: Then James it is. And the one that looks like you?
There is a moment of slience and they look back to each other.
Both: Cherokee.
Luna: Cherokee.
Stark: The pups have been named.
They dogs looks at each other. Many are happy of the new borns.
Dingo: So guys what do we do now?
Kodi: What else? Rasie our pups.
Stark: See what the future holds.
Dingo: Some adventures could come our way.
Mila: And well make sure that we all come out of them safe.
Luna: Until then, lets start our family.
Willow: The wolf dog race can expand now.
Jim: I forgot about that.
Dusty: But Willow's right. Wolf dogs can expand into thousand one day.
Kodi: Slow down Dusty. Lets just start with these little puff balls.
Many of them laugh. Outside in the cold snow, not to far from the door to the boiler room, stands Balto with Jenna at his side.
Balto: They grow up so fast.
Jenna: I'm proud of them.
Balto: So am I.
Jenna: Our pups have been through alot with us.
Balto: But now they will go through alot with theres. But...
There is a sudden moment of silence.
Balto: Let's just hope they'll be ready for...him.
Jenna: Not now, Balto! \They are all still young. They will be ready. I can feel it.
Balto: I'm sorry, your right. I guess I just wanted to happen so fast.
Jenna: We'll watch over our pups and grandpups. But let them live there lives, have fun, get in trouble. Just like we did with ours.
Balto: Yeah. But they need to be safe. Dont forget all the danger I was brought into.
Jenna laughs and leaps at Balto. Within a second she pins him to the ground.
Jenna: You mean all the danger we were brought into.
Jenna gets off of Balto and he stands back up smileing at her.
Balto: Your right. Lets let them live there lives. But how long should we wait?
Jenna: How about...two years.
Balto: Perfect. Thats enough time for him to get ready. And when he is. So will the pups.
Balto and Jenna watch over the pups and there grandpups. As time passed, not to much has happend. There are some things about the pups that should be noted for the reader of this facfic. Icarus and Zuko have a more wolf look than dog. Dingo and Hunter thought that there sons would never find a home cause of how they looked. Hunter even thought that it could be Aleu all over again. However, all this fear was for nothing. They were both taken in by a young human who was one of the children that there grandfather saved from death in 1925. There is also Jim and Sara's son Jacob. He is often emotionless, dark, never talks to anyone, and has a very cold tone to his voice. He is mostly happy when he is a home with his owner. But he still gets along with his siblings and hangs out with them.
There someother events that are needed to be known. So... this fanfic was just a preveiw to show you the names of the new pups. Comeing soon will be a ten part mini series that will let you get to know the pups a little more. After that... an event will take place that will decide the fate of the wolf dog race. But the dont worry about that. Lets just get thorugh the mini series first. The mini series will be called The Snow. The Snow will feature many of today's top music artists. Including AC/DC, Linkin Park, Taylor Swift, Motley Crue and more.
