Volume 1

It was dawn, just before the sunrise. It was 1 year after the Bush Plane arrived in Nome. Since 1925, Steele has been looked up under the hospital for lying about Balto in front of Jenna and the rest of the dogs. Steele was eating his little bit of food he would get daily. "Balto will pay. I have been locked down here for 4 years. Now he is famous, which it should have been me who was famous. Not Balto. What a dumb wolfdog. Once i get out of here, I will make Balto pay." A Doctor walked through the hospitial, checking on a few paitents. He went to the medecine room to sit down for a while. Steele went under the room and started to bark loudly. "What in tarnation is that noise!" yelled the doctor. He noticed it was coming from under the floor. "Hey. That bark sounds like Steele's bark!" The doctor quickly got a hammer and some tools to get through the floor. The doctor finaly got part of the floor up, and Steele came out. "Steele! How did you get under there? You have been gone for 4 years. Come on. I'll get you some food." The doctor took Steele to get some food.

Balto woke up, and drank a little water from his bowl. "I wonder how Jenna is doing. Probobly sleeping. It is early in the morning, so she must be sleeping." Balto saw that Boris was also still sleeping, along with stella. "I wonder if they are going to have kids or not." said Balto. Balto left to head toward town to meet up with Kodi before he left with the mail for the next town. As Balto passed the totem pole, he noticed something different about it. The wolf at the bottom had been scratched up pretty bad. "Those claw scratches... They look familiar to me." Balto decided not to care, and he went on to see Kodi before his team left. Once Balto reached the post office, Balto was proud to see Kodi set as lead dog. "Good job, Kodi. I see you finaly got to be lead dog. I am very proud son." said Balto. "Thanks dad. Say, what are you doing in town this early?" asked Kodi. "Oh, i just wanted to see you before you left. Have you ever met one of your sisters, Aleu?" asked Balto. "No. I don't think i have, dad. Was she nice?" asked Kodi. "She was a good pup. But a bit stuborn." said Balto. "Well, i am going to go check on Jenna. Have a good trip, Kodi." "See ya, dad." The sled team raced out of town, and toward White Mountain for their first stop. Balto quickly went to Jenna's home. Steele was watching him run through the city with evil eyes. "Oviously he had pups with Jenna. I know just the way to get revenge on that wolfdog." Steele krept to the store were Dipsy and Mel were. Steele looked through the window, only seeing Dipsy eating out of a bag of jerky. "He He He.." lauhed Steele. Steele entered the store, and made Dipsy jump. "Who are you?" asked Dipsy. "I am Steele, and you are the first step in my revenge plan!" Steele jumped at dipsy, and riped open her neck with his sharp teeth, killing her instantly. Steele draged Dipsy's body away from the store, and toward Balto's home. Steele spread Dipsy's blood all over Balto's blanket. Steele burried Dipsy's body under the sand, and quickly went back to the store to clean up any blood on the floor so that Dipsy's owner wouldn't know what happened.

Balto and Jenna were talking about Aleu and Kodi, before they began to couple for a little while just for fun. Balto later went to the place were all the dogs would meet to discuss stiuations. "Hey! Balto! Quickly come over here." said Doc. Balto was confused at what was happening. When Balto went over to Doc, Doc showed Balto a bag of jerky with blood stains on it. "What happened?" asked Balto. Well, we think it is Dipsy's blood. We found this in the shop a few hours after the mail dogs left. We think Dipsy was murdered..." "How could this happen? Who would do this?" asked Balto. "We don't know. We will have to start a dog investigation squad to catch anymore wierd whatever. I will gather up some of the best dogs i can find. Balto, would you be part of the squad?" asked Doc. "Ok. I wan't to know who is doing this." said Balto.

Steele listened in on there conversation. "I will need to be more carefull if i want my revenge to run smoothly. Now, to find my next victtom." Steele creeped through the town, looking for some others to kill. He decided he would kill Mell next, but wait till they discovered the blood on Balto's blanket.

Balto went home, and brought Doc, and a few other dogs that were going to be in the D.I.S. Balto ran up the little ramp to make sure everything was good so that he could bring the rest up. Balto then saw his blanket covered in Dypsy's blood. "What the heck!" yeled Balto. "Is everything ok Balto?" asked Doc. The dogs started to walk toward Balto. Balto began to panic. He lifted a board in the floor, and put the bloody blanket under it. Then before the dogs could see what he was doing, Balto sat on the piece of wood so it wouldn't pop up and reveal the bloody blanket. The dogs looked at Balto, and Balto had a creepy smile on his face."What's with the face? It is happy, but yet also disturbing." "Oh. I was making a face?..." said Balto. Doc looked down on what Balto was sitting on. "Balto, would you mind standing up for a moment?" asked Doc. "Um, well, i like sitting here. It is all nice and warm." "Get up now, or we will arest you and put you under the hospitial with Steele." Balto growled, then stood up. The part of the floor Balto was sitting on lifted up a little. One of the dogs went over and looked under it, and pulled out the bloody blanket. The rest of the dogs gasped. "Balto! Can you explain this?" Doc said, shocked. "No, i can't. I don't even know were the blood came from." said Balto. "Well, this is Dipsy's blood. It is the same collor that we found on the jerky bag." Balto let out a sigh. One of the dogs came over to Balto and said, "You are under dog arrest. Until we find out on how this blanket got covered with blood, you will be forced to be thrown under the hospitial." "No! I didn't do this! You have to believe me!" said Balto. "I'm sorry, Balto. But this is proof that you murrdered Dypsy." Balto was taken to the mill to see what should be Balto's fate. Once Jenna heard what had happened, she got as many dogs to come to the mill. "Balto, why?......" She thought.

Once Balto and the other dogs were in the mill, Doc began to speak. Mell was Balto's opponent. "Mell, what do you have to present us?" asked Doc. "Well, i have known Dypsy for a very long time. When i heard that Dipsy was murrdered, i couldn't dare come here. But i did so i could see what fate we should order Balto to. Now, Balto has no record of doing bad things. But we have proof that Balto murrdered Dypsy. Mel draged in the bag of jerrky, and Balto's blanket, and presented it to the dogs. "Now, we found this bag of beef jerky in the store. The blood on the bag matches the blood on Balto's blanket. That is the only proof that i have. I say we kill someone special to Balto for what he did to Dypsy, like Kodi or Aleu." "No! you can't do that!," yelled Balto. "After what i did to save the children here in Nome, and that i saved the pilot from the airplane, i don't understand why you would think i would do such a thing!" "I'm sorry Balto. But we have proof. All thoose in favor of Balto guilty, say I." Then almost all the dogs said I, exept for Jenna. Doc talked with a few of the dogs, then went to Balto. "Balto, we think it is only fair that you suffer the same pain that you caused Mel. We all know that you and Jenna are in love. Have you two reproduced lately?""That is so rude of you to ask that!" yelled Balto. "Say yes or no or we will have you executed here and now!" Jenna began to cry. "Fine... yes we have. We did this morning." said Balto. "Well, when Jenna's pups are born, we will have them killed. My order is final." "No!," screamed Jenna, "I wont let you kill my pups!" "Im sorry Jenna, but the desision is made. Balto, once we have killed your new pups, you will be banished from Nome for 3 years. Do you understand?" asked Doc. Balto looked up at Doc, then growled."Yes. I do." "Good. Now leave. Enjoy you last months here in Nome Balto. Im sorry it has to be this way." said Doc.

Balto left the mill, and looked for Jenna. He found her sitting on Bear Rock. As Balto approched her, she said, "Balto, i know you were telling the truth. But it is hard for me to believe that you were because of the blood on your blanket. Because of this, my pups will be born, then killed. Do you know how painfull it will be to watch my pups be killed? I don't think i can do this. But luckily it wont be our first pups." Jenna ran off, leaving Balto alone. "Who would do this to me?" Balto said to himself. Balto then felt a feeling of anger and hatred rage through him.

Jenna slowly became pregnant, and Doc went to check on Jenna to see if she had given birth yet. Steele watched his plan. "Exelent. My plan is working just fine. I will kill another to make Balto's sentence more permanent. Steele sneaked into town, looking for another dog. He then noticed the mail dogs come in. He saw Jenna come over to Kodi. When the 2 left, Steele went and followed Kirby. While Kirby was asleep, Steele bit into Kirby's neck, killing him just as fast as Dypsy. Steele draged Kirby's body to Balto's home, and laid it down on Balto's new blanket.

When Doc went to see if he could find Balto, he instead found Kirby. Laying dead on the blanket. Doc ran and got all of the dogs in the town to come over and look. While Balto was returning home, he noticed tons of dogs at his home. "What's going on here! Leave my home!" Doc draged Kirby's body to Balto. "Oh no. Not again." Balto thought. "Balto. This has gone far enough. Leave the town now. Balto saw Jenna come over. Once Jenna saw Kirby dead, she said, "Balto, i cant believe you anymore. I'm sorry. Don't ever come near me ever again! " Balto noticed Kodi and the other mail dogs behind her, looking at Balto with sad eyes. "Jenna i--" Jenna interupted, "Dont speak to me Balto. Who are you going to kill next? They are already going to kill my pups when they are born. So who are you going after next?!" Jenna began crying, and she ran off. "Dad, im sorry" said Kodi. "Balto, from this moment forward, you are banished from Nome until the day you die. Now leave!" Balto ran from his home, and toward the woods. He had no idea of where he was going. Balto sat on a hil and began to howl, mourning his old life. "Who would do such a thing to me?" Balto asked himself.

While Balto was sitting on the hill, he heard wolves howling. "Maybee i can join their pack. I was already banished from Nome..." said Balto. He began to cry. He noticed the wolf pack running through a valley. "I can't believe what has happened. After what i did for Nome, they shung me, and Banish me. Jenna hates me now, along with Kodi. How could my life get so screwed up, and who would do this to me?" said Balto.

The wolf pack changed direction with a sharp turn, and now heading for Balto. They were howling as they ran, which frightened Balto a bit. They circled him. Cutting off all routes to exit. "What do you want? I didn't do anything to you." said Balto. One wolf steped forward slowly. "Papa? Is that you?" "Aleu?" "Yes. It is me. But it is I who can't believe it is you. Why are you sitting here, and not with my mom in Nome?" asked Aleu. "Well, this is hard to say. I was banished from Nome. I was accused of murder. Your mother hates me. Along with Kodi." Aleu stepped back, shocked with sorrow. "Im sorry, papa. Who is Kodi?" "Kodi is one of your brothers. Don't you remember him? You were howling and Kodi came over and said that he wanted to get a human, and chew on their socks. Don't you remember, Aleu?" "No. I don't. Im sorry for what they did to you. We came here so i could see you." said Aleu. "Well, i am happy to see you. But i think it is at a bad time. I am never aloud in Nome ever again.

Aleu's pack stayed with Balto for a few days. "Balto, did you realy murder the 2 dogs?" asked Aleu. "No. Someone else did, and the dogs are blaming me for it. I just can't believe they would do this to me after what i did for them," Balto began to cry a little, "The worst part is that even Jenna hates me now. Along with my other children. You believe me, don't you Aleu?" "Why should i have a reson not to believe you. I know you would never do such a thing papa." Aleu howled, and Balto joined her.

Back in Nome, Jenna was sitting with Kodi. "Kodi, why would your dad do such a thing? I have known balto for over 3 years, and i know he shouldn't have done that." said Jenna. "Mom, i don't think Balto murrdered Dipsy and Kirby. Someone is blaming him. It can't be Boris for two resons : Boris is a old snow goose, and that Boris went on vacation with Stella. I wonder were he is right now." Kodi finished what he was saying, and went somewere into town, leaving Jenna alone. A tear rolled down her face.

It was almost nightfall, and Balto was sitting on the mountain which he showed Jenna the plane last year. "Mother, please tell me who has done this to me." he said. He thought nothing would happen, but then white fog surrounded him. "My son, i can't reveal alot to you. But i can reveal this. The one who has done this to you was someone you voilently hated....." The fog then cleared, and Aleu came up behind him. Dad, my pack and i are leaving to Nennana tomorow morning. I was wondering if you could take me to see my mother." Balto knew she was despratly wanting to see her mother. "Aleu, i am sorry. But i can't, i was banished. But since you realy want to see her, we can go very quickly." Aleu's face filled with joy. "Yay! I get to see mom, i get to see mom." Aleu was hoping around like crazy. "Aleu, please stop that. Now, if you realy want to see your mother, we must go now."

Balto took Aleu down the mountain, and into Nome. Balto and Aleu sneaked quietly through alleys, and any possible route they could take without being seen. Balto and Aleu were finaly behind Jenna's house. "Now, Aleu, go in, say hi, and hurry back out. If they catch me, i am dead meat." Aleu hurried inside, and left Balto outside. Balto noticed the dogs coming toward Jenna's house. "Jenna.... Her pups... Oh no..." Balto thought to himself. He watched them go in.

Jenna had indeed given birth to a litter, and Doc had come to take them away from her. Jenna was letting her pups drink milk from her breast. Once all of the dogs came in, and sat down, Doc steped forward. "Jenna, it is time for your litter to be executed." "No! ," Yelled Jenna. "I wont let you!" "You are weak from birth. There is nothing i can do. Balto murdered Dipsy and Kirby. It is only fair that we kill these pups. Now, stand up and walk over in the corner. Jenna strugled to stand up, but she couldn't. "Stand up now or we will make the pups die slowly, and suffer pain. Balto watched all of this comotion from a window. He could not stand to see his pups killed. Balto ran inside, and between Doc, and Jenna. "Leave her alone!" roared Balto. "Balto?! You were banished! Move aside now!" "Sorry, but i cant dare to see my children die." Aleu and Jenna stared at Balto, knowing what he was about to do. Balto attacked Doc, taking him by suprise. All of the dogs gasped. Balto was filled with anger and hatred. Balto was filled with so much, that he felt as if he was a diferent person. Balto began to rip at Doc's belly, giving him inernal bleeding. Jenna watched this with horror. Soon, Doc was dead. "Balto....." said Jenna. Balto looked at Jenna. Tears were poring out of her eyes. "Jenna, i did this for our pups. You have to understand." Jenna did not stop her crying. "Balto... First Dipsy, then Kirby, and now Doc. You murdered someone in front of me. I was starting to believe you, that it wasnt you who was murdering the dogs. But after that display, Oh Balto.........." Aleu looked at Balto and said, "Dad. I understand why you killed him. But I still believe you." Balto walked toward Jenna, and his pups. Jenna began to freak out. "No... Get away from me now! Your just a cerial killer. The other doga started to attack Balto. With about 16 dogs all attacking him at once, Balto could not defend himself. Balto soon fainted. "Stop it now!" yelled Aleu. But then one of the dogs kicked Aleu in the chin, nocking her to the ground. They paid no atention to Jenna or her pups. "What should we do with Balto?" asked one of the dogs. "Lets throw him under the hospitial with Steele." The dogs agreed, and began to drag Balto away.

Steele was watching the wole thing through the window. "I got to get back under the hospital before they know i am gone." Steele ran as fast as he could to get to the hospital. Once he got there, he snuck in, and went back under just in time. The dogs soon dug their way to the cellar, draging unconscience Balto with them. They threw him beside Steele. "Steele, do what ever you want with Balto." said one of the dogs. They left, and filled the hole back up with the dirt they dug out. "Now, i finaly have my revenge on Balto...." said Steele. Steele began to laugh loudly and evil. Steele then kicked Balto in the head. Because of that, Balto slowly began to regain conscienceness. "S...S...Steele?" asked Balto faintly. "Well du! Who else?! I finaly got my revenge on you." Balto could barley hear him. "How did.... You get revenge on me?..... You were..... Down here for 4 years." "I escaped," said Steele, "I killed Dipsy and Kirby, and let the evedence at your home so they would think you were the one who killed them. Jenna is now scared of you, Kodi, your son even is scared of you. I don't know about Aleu, but my plan is complete." Balo tried to get up, but he was to weak. Balto fell asleep against his will. Steele went to see if the hole were the doctor that had got him out had not pluged up the hole yet, but he had. Steele decided to go to sleep untill morning. But he slept on theother side of the cellar.

Balto was the first one to wake up in the morning. Steele was sleeping, also snoring, which is what woke Balto up in the first place. Balto still felt pain to were Steele kicked him in the head, which gave Balto a mojor head ache. Balto tried to dig his way out, but for some reson, the dirt that the dogs brought him in through was as hard as dimond to Balto. "Now how could they did through this hard dirt, and i can't?!" Balto kept trying to dig a hole, but he could not. "Aniu, my mother, help me. Please..." Balto said in his thoughts. Then, white fog surrounded Balto, and a hole apeared in the dirt, along with a bright flash of light. Balto walkedd through the hole, and got out from under the hospitial. Once Balto got out of the hole, it closed up behind him. "My mom can realy help me in hard situations." Balto said to himself. Balto quickly ran to his home, hoping not to bee seen by anyone.

Once Balto arrived, he saw no one around. He remembered that Aleu said that her pack would leave in the morning. "Maybee i can catch her before she leaves. Balto ran as fast as he could to were he and Aleu had found eachother. Aleu saw him running toward them. "Papa?! How did you get away from the others? They locked you up under the hospitial!" "Aleu, your grandmother helped me." Aleu was a bit confused. "How my grandmother help you? She's dead." said Aleu. "Nevermind. I have come to join your pack. If it is ok with you." Aleu grew a big grin on her face. "Awsome dad. Welcome to our pack." said Aleu.

The dogs that locked up Balto were patroling around the town when one of them spoted Balto, and the rest of the pack. "Look everyone! Balto! Get him!" Balto and the rest of the pack saw the dogs rushing toward them. "We can talk abut this later papa. Come on!" Aleu, Balto, and the rest of the pack ran off before the dogs could get to them. The dogs could not keep up with the pack, so they returned to patroling. Except for 1 of them. The dog ran toward Jenna's home. He saw her laying on the ground, letting her pups drink milk. Kodi was playing with Dusty from his team on the other side of the yard. As he approched Jenna, she looked up with a sad face. "Is Balto alright?" she asked. "Balto has left with a wolf pack. We tried to catch up with them, but we couldn't. Im sorry Jenna. You loved him very much. Jenna looked at Kodi and Dusty, and noticed that they didn't hear it. Jenna stood up, and the new born pups crawled around. Jenna guider them inside her house, then left to go sit on the mountain were she first saw the airplane.

Once she was there, she could see the pilot flying from a far distance. Jenna began to have flashbacks of her life. From when she and Balto met, to the present. She couldn't help herself as she began to cry. "How could this happen? Balto has left, and my new litter wont ever get to meet their father, and i will never see Balto again. What reson would Balto have had for killing Dipsy and Kirby?" Jenna finished talking to herself, and went back home.

Balto was running in his new pack, but he had no idea of were they were heading. They ran for hours without stoping. It had been years since Balto had run this far. It was close to nightfall, and the pack stoped to sleep for the night. Balto walked off into the woods to hunt. He first found some deer. They were no challenge at all for Balto. He slowly draged the dead deer back to were the pack was staying. He and Aleu ate first, then let the rest of the pack take what they wanted. Balto asked Aleu to walk with him for a little while. "Aleu, it doesn't seem right to have left Nome, but it is what i had to do. Everyone thinks of me as a murdurer. But it wasn't me who killed them. It was Steele." Who is Steele, papa?" asked Aleu. "Steele was someone who always made fun of me because i am half wolf. I can't tell the whole story. But Steele was a evil, dumb, good for nothing thug. Even though he won the sled dog race three years in a row." Aleu enjoyed her walk with her dad. Once they got back to the pack, he and Aleu went to sleep, along with the others.

Back at Nome, Jenna was sleeping when a pack of wolves came to Nome. Note to reader : The pack that comes to Nome is not the pack Balto and Aleu are in. This is a completely different pack. They sneaked into every alley, road, and almost every were anyone could think of. Then, they all started to howl. The howling woke up every dog in Nome, including Jenna, Kodi, and the rest of the dog sled team. They came out of their homes to see what was hapening. The wolves then began to attack anything they saw. Jenna ran inside her home to get to her pups. She hid each one in a box, and shut it. She used her claws to poke a few air holes in the box so the newborns could breath. Jenna pushed the box into Rosie's closet. Jenna ran as fast as she could, following Balto's sent.

Jenna finaly found were Balto was, along with the rest of his pack. "Balto." she said quietly. Jenna nudged him with her nose. Balto opened his eyes and looked up at Jenna. "What do you want?" asked Balto. "I am sorry for what i said. Please forgive me. Now, i havecome to ask you to hep. Nome has been invaded by, well, i don't know how many wolves. Please come and help us fight them off." Balto turned awy and said, "Jenna. I am sorry i have to say this. You called me a murderur, you even freaked out when i started to walk toward you. You wouldn't even let me see the litter! I am sorry Jenna, but if the town wants me gone, then so be it. Nothing can be done to change my mind about this. Now go! Leave me alone!" Balto's yelling woke the rest of the pack up, including Aleu. Jenna steped back. "Balto! Come to your senses! I have always loved you, and i know you have alwayd loved me!" Balto looked at her straight in the eye. "Used to always loved you Jenna! But after what you did to me, not anymore." Aleu gasped. "Well, then take care of your self Balto. I guess it's what your best at." Jenna began crying, and she ran toward Nome. All of the wolves were staring at Balto, but Aleu was looking away. Balto also ran, but in the other dirrection.

Balto soon entered a lifeless valley, burned to a crisp by a wild fire. Which Balto thought of his life as. Dull, and having no meaning to. Balto began to howl a mornfull howl into the sky. "Mother. Why has my life got so tangled? How can i fix it? I just yelled at my one and only love. She probobly will never speak to me again." Balto's mother, Aniu, appeared before him. "My son, your life will recover. You know, i once was in a sort of situation like this with your father. Well it wasn't exactly like this, but close." Aniu disapeared, leaving Balto alone in the valley. "How could i have yelled at Jenna?" A tear came, droping on the cold ground. Balto laid down to rest. To him, there was nowere else to sleep.

In Nome, the wolves have already killed 4 dogs, and 2 humans. Jenna was inside Rosie's closet so he wolves couldn't find them. They had already foound Rosie and her parents, which were now in the hositial for injuries. For some reson, the wolves idn't go inside the hospitial, just inside houses and stores. Jenna, with her pups, were safe from the wolves. She didn't know were Kodi was, which frightned her a bit. Jenna pushed the top of the box open to ley her pups get some air. Even eith holes Jenna put in the box did not provide enough oxegen for them. She saw them crawling around in circles, looking for Jenna so they could drink some milk from her. Luckily, the pups didn't make alot of noise. She was crying about her argument with Balto. "I never thought he would say anything like that to me. It is my fault he did." thought Jenna.

"Oviously he had pups with Jenna. I know just the way to get revenge on that wolfdog." Steele krept to the store were Dipsy and Mel were. Steele looked through the window, only seeing Dipsy eating out of a bag of jerky. "He He He.." lauhed Steele. Steele entered the store, and made Dipsy jump. "Who are you?" asked Dipsy. "I am Steele, and you are the first step in my revenge plan!" Steele jumped at dipsy, and riped open her neck with his sharp teeth, killing her instantly. Steele draged Dipsy's body away from the store, and toward Balto's home. Steele spread Dipsy's blood all over Balto's blanket. Steele burried Dipsy's body under the sand, and quickly went back to the store to clean up any blood on the floor so that Dipsy's owner wouldn't know what happened.

Balto and Jenna were talking about Aleu and Kodi, before they began to couple for a little while just for fun. Balto later went to the place were all the dogs would meet to discuss stiuations. "Hey! Balto! Quickly come over here." said Doc. Balto was confused at what was happening. When Balto went over to Doc, Doc showed Balto a bag of jerky with blood stains on it. "What happened?" asked Balto. Well, we think it is Dipsy's blood. We found this in the shop a few hours after the mail dogs left. We think Dipsy was murdered..." "How could this happen? Who would do this?" asked Balto. "We don't know. We will have to start a dog investigation squad to catch anymore wierd whatever. I will gather up some of the best dogs i can find. Balto, would you be part of the squad?" asked Doc. "Ok. I wan't to know who is doing this." said Balto.

Steele listened in on there conversation. "I will need to be more carefull if i want my revenge to run smoothly. Now, to find my next victtom." Steele creeped through the town, looking for some others to kill. He decided he would kill Mell next, but wait till they discovered the blood on Balto's blanket.

Balto went home, and brought Doc, and a few other dogs that were going to be in the D.I.S. Balto ran up the little ramp to make sure everything was good so that he could bring the rest up. Balto then saw his blanket covered in Dypsy's blood. "What the heck!" yeled Balto. "Is everything ok Balto?" asked Doc. The dogs started to walk toward Balto. Balto began to panic. He lifted a board in the floor, and put the bloody blanket under it. Then before the dogs could see what he was doing, Balto sat on the piece of wood so it wouldn't pop up and reveal the bloody blanket. The dogs looked at Balto, and Balto had a creepy smile on his face."What's with the face? It is happy, but yet also disturbing." "Oh. I was making a face?..." said Balto. Doc looked down on what Balto was sitting on. "Balto, would you mind standing up for a moment?" asked Doc. "Um, well, i like sitting here. It is all nice and warm." "Get up now, or we will arest you and put you under the hospitial with Steele." Balto growled, then stood up. The part of the floor Balto was sitting on lifted up a little. One of the dogs went over and looked under it, and pulled out the bloody blanket. The rest of the dogs gasped. "Balto! Can you explain this?" Doc said, shocked. "No, i can't. I don't even know were the blood came from." said Balto. "Well, this is Dipsy's blood. It is the same collor that we found on the jerky bag." Balto let out a sigh. One of the dogs came over to Balto and said, "You are under dog arrest. Until we find out on how this blanket got covered with blood, you will be forced to be thrown under the hospitial." "No! I didn't do this! You have to believe me!" said Balto. "I'm sorry, Balto. But this is proof that you murrdered Dypsy." Balto was taken to the mill to see what should be Balto's fate. Once Jenna heard what had happened, she got as many dogs to come to the mill. "Balto, why?......" She thought.

Once Balto and the other dogs were in the mill, Doc began to speak. Mell was Balto's opponent. "Mell, what do you have to present us?" asked Doc. "Well, i have known Dypsy for a very long time. When i heard that Dipsy was murrdered, i couldn't dare come here. But i did so i could see what fate we should order Balto to. Now, Balto has no record of doing bad things. But we have proof that Balto murrdered Dypsy. Mel draged in the bag of jerrky, and Balto's blanket, and presented it to the dogs. "Now, we found this bag of beef jerky in the store. The blood on the bag matches the blood on Balto's blanket. That is the only proof that i have. I say we kill someone special to Balto for what he did to Dypsy, like Kodi or Aleu." "No! you can't do that!," yelled Balto. "After what i did to save the children here in Nome, and that i saved the pilot from the airplane, i don't understand why you would think i would do such a thing!" "I'm sorry Balto. But we have proof. All thoose in favor of Balto guilty, say I." Then almost all the dogs said I, exept for Jenna. Doc talked with a few of the dogs, then went to Balto. "Balto, we think it is only fair that you suffer the same pain that you caused Mel. We all know that you and Jenna are in love. Have you two reproduced lately?""That is so rude of you to ask that!" yelled Balto. "Say yes or no or we will have you executed here and now!" Jenna began to cry. "Fine... yes we have. We did this morning." said Balto. "Well, when Jenna's pups are born, we will have them killed. My order is final." "No!," screamed Jenna, "I wont let you kill my pups!" "Im sorry Jenna, but the desision is made. Balto, once we have killed your new pups, you will be banished from Nome for 3 years. Do you understand?" asked Doc. Balto looked up at Doc, then growled."Yes. I do." "Good. Now leave. Enjoy you last months here in Nome Balto. Im sorry it has to be this way." said Doc.

Balto left the mill, and looked for Jenna. He found her sitting on Bear Rock. As Balto approched her, she said, "Balto, i know you were telling the truth. But it is hard for me to believe that you were because of the blood on your blanket. Because of this, my pups will be born, then killed. Do you know how painfull it will be to watch my pups be killed? I don't think i can do this. But luckily it wont be our first pups." Jenna ran off, leaving Balto alone. "Who would do this to me?" Balto said to himself. Balto then felt a feeling of anger and hatred rage through him.

Jenna slowly became pregnant, and Doc went to check on Jenna to see if she had given birth yet. Steele watched his plan. "Exelent. My plan is working just fine. I will kill another to make Balto's sentence more permanent. Steele sneaked into town, looking for another dog. He then noticed the mail dogs come in. He saw Jenna come over to Kodi. When the 2 left, Steele went and followed Kirby. While Kirby was asleep, Steele bit into Kirby's neck, killing him just as fast as Dypsy. Steele draged Kirby's body to Balto's home, and laid it down on Balto's new blanket.

When Doc went to see if he could find Balto, he instead found Kirby. Laying dead on the blanket. Doc ran and got all of the dogs in the town to come over and look. While Balto was returning home, he noticed tons of dogs at his home. "What's going on here! Leave my home!" Doc draged Kirby's body to Balto. "Oh no. Not again." Balto thought. "Balto. This has gone far enough. Leave the town now. Balto saw Jenna come over. Once Jenna saw Kirby dead, she said, "Balto, i cant believe you anymore. I'm sorry. Don't ever come near me ever again! " Balto noticed Kodi and the other mail dogs behind her, looking at Balto with sad eyes. "Jenna i--" Jenna interupted, "Dont speak to me Balto. Who are you going to kill next? They are already going to kill my pups when they are born. So who are you going after next?!" Jenna began crying, and she ran off. "Dad, im sorry" said Kodi. "Balto, from this moment forward, you are banished from Nome until the day you die. Now leave!" Balto ran from his home, and toward the woods. He had no idea of where he was going. Balto sat on a hil and began to howl, mourning his old life. "Who would do such a thing to me?" Balto asked himself.

While Balto was sitting on the hill, he heard wolves howling. "Maybee i can join their pack. I was already banished from Nome..." said Balto. He began to cry. He noticed the wolf pack running through a valley. "I can't believe what has happened. After what i did for Nome, they shung me, and Banish me. Jenna hates me now, along with Kodi. How could my life get so screwed up, and who would do this to me?" said Balto.

The wolf pack changed direction with a sharp turn, and now heading for Balto. They were howling as they ran, which frightened Balto a bit. They circled him. Cutting off all routes to exit. "What do you want? I didn't do anything to you." said Balto. One wolf steped forward slowly. "Papa? Is that you?" "Aleu?" "Yes. It is me. But it is I who can't believe it is you. Why are you sitting here, and not with my mom in Nome?" asked Aleu. "Well, this is hard to say. I was banished from Nome. I was accused of murder. Your mother hates me. Along with Kodi." Aleu stepped back, shocked with sorrow. "Im sorry, papa. Who is Kodi?" "Kodi is one of your brothers. Don't you remember him? You were howling and Kodi came over and said that he wanted to get a human, and chew on their socks. Don't you remember, Aleu?" "No. I don't. Im sorry for what they did to you. We came here so i could see you." said Aleu. "Well, i am happy to see you. But i think it is at a bad time. I am never aloud in Nome ever again.

Aleu's pack stayed with Balto for a few days. "Balto, did you realy murder the 2 dogs?" asked Aleu. "No. Someone else did, and the dogs are blaming me for it. I just can't believe they would do this to me after what i did for them," Balto began to cry a little, "The worst part is that even Jenna hates me now. Along with my other children. You believe me, don't you Aleu?" "Why should i have a reson not to believe you. I know you would never do such a thing papa." Aleu howled, and Balto joined her.

Back in Nome, Jenna was sitting with Kodi. "Kodi, why would your dad do such a thing? I have known balto for over 3 years, and i know he shouldn't have done that." said Jenna. "Mom, i don't think Balto murrdered Dipsy and Kirby. Someone is blaming him. It can't be Boris for two resons : Boris is a old snow goose, and that Boris went on vacation with Stella. I wonder were he is right now." Kodi finished what he was saying, and went somewere into town, leaving Jenna alone. A tear rolled down her face.

It was almost nightfall, and Balto was sitting on the mountain which he showed Jenna the plane last year. "Mother, please tell me who has done this to me." he said. He thought nothing would happen, but then white fog surrounded him. "My son, i can't reveal alot to you. But i can reveal this. The one who has done this to you was someone you voilently hated....." The fog then cleared, and Aleu came up behind him. Dad, my pack and i are leaving to Nennana tomorow morning. I was wondering if you could take me to see my mother." Balto knew she was despratly wanting to see her mother. "Aleu, i am sorry. But i can't, i was banished. But since you realy want to see her, we can go very quickly." Aleu's face filled with joy. "Yay! I get to see mom, i get to see mom." Aleu was hoping around like crazy. "Aleu, please stop that. Now, if you realy want to see your mother, we must go now."

Balto took Aleu down the mountain, and into Nome. Balto and Aleu sneaked quietly through alleys, and any possible route they could take without being seen. Balto and Aleu were finaly behind Jenna's house. "Now, Aleu, go in, say hi, and hurry back out. If they catch me, i am dead meat." Aleu hurried inside, and left Balto outside. Balto noticed the dogs coming toward Jenna's house. "Jenna.... Her pups... Oh no..." Balto thought to himself. He watched them go in.

Jenna had indeed given birth to a litter, and Doc had come to take them away from her. Jenna was letting her pups drink milk from her breast. Once all of the dogs came in, and sat down, Doc steped forward. "Jenna, it is time for your litter to be executed." "No! ," Yelled Jenna. "I wont let you!" "You are weak from birth. There is nothing i can do. Balto murdered Dipsy and Kirby. It is only fair that we kill these pups. Now, stand up and walk over in the corner. Jenna strugled to stand up, but she couldn't. "Stand up now or we will make the pups die slowly, and suffer pain. Balto watched all of this comotion from a window. He could not stand to see his pups killed. Balto ran inside, and between Doc, and Jenna. "Leave her alone!" roared Balto. "Balto?! You were banished! Move aside now!" "Sorry, but i cant dare to see my children die." Aleu and Jenna stared at Balto, knowing what he was about to do. Balto attacked Doc, taking him by suprise. All of the dogs gasped. Balto was filled with anger and hatred. Balto was filled with so much, that he felt as if he was a diferent person. Balto began to rip at Doc's belly, giving him inernal bleeding. Jenna watched this with horror. Soon, Doc was dead. "Balto....." said Jenna. Balto looked at Jenna. Tears were poring out of her eyes. "Jenna, i did this for our pups. You have to understand." Jenna did not stop her crying. "Balto... First Dipsy, then Kirby, and now Doc. You murdered someone in front of me. I was starting to believe you, that it wasnt you who was murdering the dogs. But after that display, Oh Balto.........." Aleu looked at Balto and said, "Dad. I understand why you killed him. But I still believe you." Balto walked toward Jenna, and his pups. Jenna began to freak out. "No... Get away from me now! Your just a cerial killer. The other doga started to attack Balto. With about 16 dogs all attacking him at once, Balto could not defend himself. Balto soon fainted. "Stop it now!" yelled Aleu. But then one of the dogs kicked Aleu in the chin, nocking her to the ground. They paid no atention to Jenna or her pups. "What should we do with Balto?" asked one of the dogs. "Lets throw him under the hospitial with Steele." The dogs agreed, and began to drag Balto away.

Steele was watching the wole thing through the window. "I got to get back under the hospital before they know i am gone." Steele ran as fast as he could to get to the hospital. Once he got there, he snuck in, and went back under just in time. The dogs soon dug their way to the cellar, draging unconscience Balto with them. They threw him beside Steele. "Steele, do what ever you want with Balto." said one of the dogs. They left, and filled the hole back up with the dirt they dug out. "Now, i finaly have my revenge on Balto...." said Steele. Steele began to laugh loudly and evil. Steele then kicked Balto in the head. Because of that, Balto slowly began to regain conscienceness. "S...S...Steele?" asked Balto faintly. "Well du! Who else?! I finaly got my revenge on you." Balto could barley hear him. "How did.... You get revenge on me?..... You were..... Down here for 4 years." "I escaped," said Steele, "I killed Dipsy and Kirby, and let the evedence at your home so they would think you were the one who killed them. Jenna is now scared of you, Kodi, your son even is scared of you. I don't know about Aleu, but my plan is complete." Balo tried to get up, but he was to weak. Balto fell asleep against his will. Steele went to see if the hole were the doctor that had got him out had not pluged up the hole yet, but he had. Steele decided to go to sleep untill morning. But he slept on theother side of the cellar.

Balto was the first one to wake up in the morning. Steele was sleeping, also snoring, which is what woke Balto up in the first place. Balto still felt pain to were Steele kicked him in the head, which gave Balto a mojor head ache. Balto tried to dig his way out, but for some reson, the dirt that the dogs brought him in through was as hard as dimond to Balto. "Now how could they did through this hard dirt, and i can't?!" Balto kept trying to dig a hole, but he could not. "Aniu, my mother, help me. Please..." Balto said in his thoughts. Then, white fog surrounded Balto, and a hole apeared in the dirt, along with a bright flash of light. Balto walkedd through the hole, and got out from under the hospitial. Once Balto got out of the hole, it closed up behind him. "My mom can realy help me in hard situations." Balto said to himself. Balto quickly ran to his home, hoping not to bee seen by anyone.

Once Balto arrived, he saw no one around. He remembered that Aleu said that her pack would leave in the morning. "Maybee i can catch her before she leaves. Balto ran as fast as he could to were he and Aleu had found eachother. Aleu saw him running toward them. "Papa?! How did you get away from the others? They locked you up under the hospitial!" "Aleu, your grandmother helped me." Aleu was a bit confused. "How my grandmother help you? She's dead." said Aleu. "Nevermind. I have come to join your pack. If it is ok with you." Aleu grew a big grin on her face. "Awsome dad. Welcome to our pack." said Aleu.

The dogs that locked up Balto were patroling around the town when one of them spoted Balto, and the rest of the pack. "Look everyone! Balto! Get him!" Balto and the rest of the pack saw the dogs rushing toward them. "We can talk abut this later papa. Come on!" Aleu, Balto, and the rest of the pack ran off before the dogs could get to them. The dogs could not keep up with the pack, so they returned to patroling. Except for 1 of them. The dog ran toward Jenna's home. He saw her laying on the ground, letting her pups drink milk. Kodi was playing with Dusty from his team on the other side of the yard. As he approched Jenna, she looked up with a sad face. "Is Balto alright?" she asked. "Balto has left with a wolf pack. We tried to catch up with them, but we couldn't. Im sorry Jenna. You loved him very much. Jenna looked at Kodi and Dusty, and noticed that they didn't hear it. Jenna stood up, and the new born pups crawled around. Jenna guider them inside her house, then left to go sit on the mountain were she first saw the airplane.

Once she was there, she could see the pilot flying from a far distance. Jenna began to have flashbacks of her life. From when she and Balto met, to the present. She couldn't help herself as she began to cry. "How could this happen? Balto has left, and my new litter wont ever get to meet their father, and i will never see Balto again. What reson would Balto have had for killing Dipsy and Kirby?" Jenna finished talking to herself, and went back home.

Balto was running in his new pack, but he had no idea of were they were heading. They ran for hours without stoping. It had been years since Balto had run this far. It was close to nightfall, and the pack stoped to sleep for the night. Balto walked off into the woods to hunt. He first found some deer. They were no challenge at all for Balto. He slowly draged the dead deer back to were the pack was staying. He and Aleu ate first, then let the rest of the pack take what they wanted. Balto asked Aleu to walk with him for a little while. "Aleu, it doesn't seem right to have left Nome, but it is what i had to do. Everyone thinks of me as a murdurer. But it wasn't me who killed them. It was Steele." Who is Steele, papa?" asked Aleu. "Steele was someone who always made fun of me because i am half wolf. I can't tell the whole story. But Steele was a evil, dumb, good for nothing thug. Even though he won the sled dog race three years in a row." Aleu enjoyed her walk with her dad. Once they got back to the pack, he and Aleu went to sleep, along with the others.

Back at Nome, Jenna was sleeping when a pack of wolves came to Nome. Note to reader : The pack that comes to Nome is not the pack Balto and Aleu are in. This is a completely different pack. They sneaked into every alley, road, and almost every were anyone could think of. Then, they all started to howl. The howling woke up every dog in Nome, including Jenna, Kodi, and the rest of the dog sled team. They came out of their homes to see what was hapening. The wolves then began to attack anything they saw. Jenna ran inside her home to get to her pups. She hid each one in a box, and shut it. She used her claws to poke a few air holes in the box so the newborns could breath. Jenna pushed the box into Rosie's closet. Jenna ran as fast as she could, following Balto's sent.

Jenna finaly found were Balto was, along with the rest of his pack. "Balto." she said quietly. Jenna nudged him with her nose. Balto opened his eyes and looked up at Jenna. "What do you want?" asked Balto. "I am sorry for what i said. Please forgive me. Now, i havecome to ask you to hep. Nome has been invaded by, well, i don't know how many wolves. Please come and help us fight them off." Balto turned awy and said, "Jenna. I am sorry i have to say this. You called me a murderur, you even freaked out when i started to walk toward you. You wouldn't even let me see the litter! I am sorry Jenna, but if the town wants me gone, then so be it. Nothing can be done to change my mind about this. Now go! Leave me alone!" Balto's yelling woke the rest of the pack up, including Aleu. Jenna steped back. "Balto! Come to your senses! I have always loved you, and i know you have alwayd loved me!" Balto looked at her straight in the eye. "Used to always loved you Jenna! But after what you did to me, not anymore." Aleu gasped. "Well, then take care of your self Balto. I guess it's what your best at." Jenna began crying, and she ran toward Nome. All of the wolves were staring at Balto, but Aleu was looking away. Balto also ran, but in the other dirrection.

Balto soon entered a lifeless valley, burned to a crisp by a wild fire. Which Balto thought of his life as. Dull, and having no meaning to. Balto began to howl a mornfull howl into the sky. "Mother. Why has my life got so tangled? How can i fix it? I just yelled at my one and only love. She probobly will never speak to me again." Balto's mother, Aniu, appeared before him. "My son, your life will recover. You know, i once was in a sort of situation like this with your father. Well it wasn't exactly like this, but close." Aniu disapeared, leaving Balto alone in the valley. "How could i have yelled at Jenna?" A tear came, droping on the cold ground. Balto laid down to rest. To him, there was nowere else to sleep.

In Nome, the wolves have already killed 4 dogs, and 2 humans. Jenna was inside Rosie's closet so he wolves couldn't find them. They had already foound Rosie and her parents, which were now in the hositial for injuries. For some reson, the wolves idn't go inside the hospitial, just inside houses and stores. Jenna, with her pups, were safe from the wolves. She didn't know were Kodi was, which frightned her a bit. Jenna pushed the top of the box open to ley her pups get some air. Even eith holes Jenna put in the box did not provide enough oxegen for them. She saw them crawling around in circles, looking for Jenna so they could drink some milk from her.

Steele was under the hospitial, still sleeping. A wolf smelled Steele, and began to dig toward him. The barking woke Steele up, and he could see the dirt moving. Finnaly, the wolf came through, and tried to attack Steele. Steele used his back legs to hit the wolf in the belly. Steele hurried out of the hospitial cellar to see what was going on. The dogs saw Steele come out. "Steele! Help us get rid of these wolves!" Steele began to attack as many as he could. But still there were to many.

One of Jenna's pups squeaked, and a wolf heard it. Jenna then put the lid back on the cardbored box just before a wolf busted open the closet door. "Now what do we have here," said the wolf, "Oviously a mother and kids. Open the box now!" Jenna would'nt, so the wolf kicked Jenna in the stomache, and quickly pushed the lid of of the box. The wolf howled, and 3 more came in. "Look here. We have a mother of newborn pups hiding in the closet. You grab the box, but dont harm the pups just yet. I want to tell this husky something. The 2 other wolves grabed the box and began to pull it away. "No!" yelled Jenna. She jumed up and tried to get to the pups, but the wolf head butted her. The wolf then bitt into all four of Jenna's legs, making her unable to stand up. The wolf pushed Jenna back into the closet, walked in it himself, then began to rape Jenna. But then, all of the wolves in the town heard another pack howling. Including Jenna and the one raping her. Then, the closet door swung open, and there was Balto, growling at the wolf. "Get you dirty paws off of her now!" yelled Balto. The wolf looked at Balto with anger. Then it stood up, and threw himself at Balto. Balto quickly moved out of the wolf's path, and it hit its head on the wall, which let Balto have a clear shot at the wolf. Balto killed it, and went to Jenna. "Im sorry for what i said Jenna." "We can appologize later. They took my pups, go get them. I cant because my legs are broken." Balto ran out of the house, looking around for he pups. He saw 3 wolves looking into the box, ready to kill the newborns. Balto's pack was lucky enough to kill the woloves before they could kill the pups. Balto draged the box back to Jenna. Balto went back outside to see how many of the invading wolves were still left. He saw Aleu killing the last one in sight.

All of the dogs came to Balto. "We are sorry we banished you. But you came back even when we shung you! why would you come back?" "Beacause lives were in danger. My children were in danger. That's why. I am going to continue helping this town wether humans, or dogs dont want me to." Once Balto finished, Steele came and knocked Balto to the ground. "Balto, you runined my plan to get rid of you! Now i am going to get rid of you. Once and for all." Balto was able to evade most of Steele's attacks. Balto jumped on Steele's back, and bit as hard as he could into Steele's head. Steele fell to the ground, blood coming out of him mouth. Steele was dead, and so was the wolf invasion.

Balto was watching his cildren runnalong the beach. Jenna came to Balto. "Balto, Kodi has just left to go on his mail run. Aleu is still in town with her pack, but she will be leaving tonight. Did you say goodbye to Aleu?" "Yes i did. I did before i came back here.

I wonder what kind of dogs our new children will be when they have their own homes. Now, they just wander through Nome." Jenna laid down beside Balto. "Don't be telling them what to do. They will have to make choices for themselves. Balto stood up and howled into the sky. Giving all the dogs a warm felling of peace.
