Willis sat at his desk,waiting for the head huncho to give orders. Willis stared at the phone, "ring....rrr-ing...now,ring. RING!!" Willis bellowed at the phone. "lousey boss" he uttered to him self, he parked his feet on the top of his desk and slumped. He got out his pocket knife and picked at his ugly nails. Just then, the phone rang, willis rolled his eyes and picked up the phone.

"Yeah?" Willis rudley answered. "Willis? ya know how we have very breed of dog in the word?"

"Yeah?"

"WELL,WERE MISSING A WOLF!!!"

"why the heck would we need a wolf?"

"JUST GET ME WOLF, YOU IDIOT!"

"okay,okay, but how do I get one?"

"Get Bob, and DO WHAT EVERPOSIBLE!!!"

"FINE!" Willis bellowed and slamed down the phone. He got up, and went to get Bob. Bob parked a pick-up beside willis. Willis climbed in and grabbed some flameable oil. The two parked in a random area of yellow stone interational park and spilled the flameable oil all over the ground as the small patchh of forest was engufed in flames.

CHAPTER 1

 "KAYA!KAYA!KAYA!" My brother,Jancus yelled, "get up! we have to get out of here!NOW!" he cried, I shot up, my head swiveled in all directions, I looked at him "RUN!!" he sreached. I got up and ,by golly, I started runing, I noticed that there was a fire! I kept runing,and ruunning, I finnaly saw the clearing and threw my body out of my burning place wich I had once called home, I looked back "Jancus?Mom?Dad?" I asked the forest.

no answer.

My eyes had begon to well with tears, when I heard something behind me, I turned around and allmoxt jumped out of my fur. my gosh, it was two drunk,ugly humans! I edmited a low growl. The two men tied me down andshot me with a stick thing , and my world whent black as I drifted off into deeeep sleep.

 

CHAPTER 2~

     I drousley awoke from my sleep to find my self locked up in a cage. I was scared out of my wits. I strugled in the back, trying to break free. Those weirdos had locked me in a cage!  "SHUT UP BACK THERE!" a man cried. I wont intill you tell me were were going! "I SAID SHUT UP! AND QUIT TRYIN TO KILL YOUR SELF,  CIRO WILL DO IT FOR YA!"Ciro.. I think I knew him once?.... Any ways, I had been back there for a long ,long,long time and I was really bored. I had given up trying to break free all together, you might aswell say I was dying of boredome. I looked up twords the two men, at least, I THINK they where men..Then, I heard a ring lound anough to wake the dead, one of the men picked up a retangular shaped thingi, pressed somthing, and stared talking to it, "Yeah?" the man said to the thing, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN CIRO WAS PICKED UP, AND LEFT??!!"  The dude bellowed to the thing, he pressed it again and pitched it out the window. Then, he said some cuse words. Man! that guy was weird, talkin to a thing, and pitchin it out the window. The phyco man stopped the truck infort of a HUGE  building,gout out, and opened the cage he had put me in, and then he set me down, and kicked me infornt of a door and drove away snickering.

CHAPTER 3~

I looked ahead to see a small door that was wide open. I didn't know if it was safe to venture in or not, but my courisoity got to me first, and I slowly entered. This isn't so bad  I thought. Then, I heard a low voice in the corner, the voice was trying to say something, but what what was it?, and then, I felt a burn that stung like the dickens on my back. " You aren't very bright, are you?" someone uttered in a nasty tone. The dark room was freaking me out, I started to back out but the door shut behind me with a SLAM!. My heart practactly pounded out of my cest cause this eary voice scared me out of my wits. I felt a sharp tug on my neck, had someone put a leash om ME?! Kaya Rainfeather?!, Apparently. "COME-ON!!!!!!" the voice nareled at me. I took a skakey step foward,and an other,and an onther. Before you know it, I was walking around on this limp string humans called a leash, then, the lights came on and I was witha few decriped lookin humans, and a ton of dogs!. I feelin pretty weird when I looked up to see the eary voice I'd heard, it was a really ugly man.

"Move it pooch!" he snareled at me, I snareled back, he sqiunted at me," so you think you tough,eh?" he said. "JUST WAIT INTILL I'M DONE WITH YOU!!!" he boomed in my face. I stood my ground,  then, I heard snickers from the other side of the room, it was the pitbull and his ratty crew, laughin and cursin there heads off. But, of course the humans did not know this. That night, I was thrown into a kennle next to a few other females dog, they snickered about boys and popularity, like that was fun? wrongo!. I decied to get some shut eye even with all my burning marks and bursies.

CHAHTER 4~

I had some trouble sleeping at night, so the next month, I was super tried, and rudley awakeded at 6 AM!. It was NOT the most pleasant wake up call, it was men clanging pots and sreaming there lungs out. I slowly got out of my kennle and sat down. Then men gave us a tiny crumb for a breakfast. And forced us down the hall,  the men took us into a room with a anourmous pit right in the middle with bleachers all around. a man put spurs on my feet I turned around to nail him through the hand but he had moved away too quickly. Another man kicked me into the pit and put  another dog in with me.

I knew  that we were about to fight to the finnish, freaky thing was, nither one of us were killed and so we were sent to a cage were other dogs kept on fighting but I stood in the corner.

 4 months later, I decied to join in the females conversation " And I like said to him 'I think you're hot!'" one terrier said as the others cracked up. "Hi, I'm__" I sarted to say. "Shut up! we were talking here!" some weirdo hazel dog said, "Go away!". With that, I slunk back into my kennel, I knew soon that I would leave this place.

CHAPTER 5~

 At the minute 8:00 stuck, I was up and ready, my suplies packed and every thing. I silently crept out the door of the sleeping quarters. I looked left and right to see if the cost was clear. I swiftley darted for the nearest hiding place, I saw a car with it's trunk still open, I climbed in and carefuly shut it, making sure that I was as qiuet as a mouse.

With me contaned in the car, the siren went off saying that I had esaped, too late for them cause I had marked my destionations for montana! I had planed to go to montanna some day, so now was the perfect time.

 The car stopped by an old kareoke bar called 'saturday night'. The driver got out and went inside the bar.good thing the bar was close to the train station, I padded over too the listings of times and places, I carefully skimed over the list,and then, I saw it '8:00   Empire Builder EXP. Montana'.

I checked the clock on the wall, I had 5 minutes to get on the train. I had figured that I would have to ride hobo style and try not to get cuaght. "LOADING ALL PASANGERS FOR THE EMPIRE BUILDER, 9:00, MONTANA!!!!" a voice boomed from the train, all the passengers loaded them selves on, and then, the train started to move. I ran towds an open box car and leaped, barlery clung to the eage with my life. I was starting to slip, so I dung my claws into the box car, that wasn't working,I was scared, then I felt a human grab me pull me in, so that I wasn't on the eage. I noticed this feeling deep inside that made me feel bave, I was just beginining to LIKE this.

CHAPTER 6~

" That was the wierdest thing I  ever seen moris!" siad the man who had pulled me in, " I have never seen a dog do somthing that, have you?" the man asked his asked his friend. "Nope" the mans friend 'moris' replied.

 I looked around me, I saw at least 1 or 2 dogs, I wondered if they were friendly,inroc, cause next thing I know, one of the dogs came up to me and tried to be friendly. "Hi! Bye!" the dogs said quickley ,and huried over to his master. odd, I thought as I headed over to look out of the box car, I knew I would be more carefull this time.

 LATER....

An hour or so passed and I had become pretty tried. Weird thing was, that the train had started to slow down and all the hobo's were leaving I guess that was my cue to laeve aswell, I jumped down and ran to a small forest the train had stoped by a lush forest, I jumped out and darted into the lush forest, and you won't want to know what happed next.(might scare the the little children!)

CHAPTER 7~ WHAT HAPPENED NEXT

 do thoose children have there ears pluged? Good! Any ways, I had been runnin for a while knowand I was wondering what would happen to me when a HUGE,snaring, wolf jumped out ! (he scared the dickens out of me!)"WHO ARE YOU?! AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" he yelled. I opened my mouth to sream, but all that came out was air. "I-i-i-i-i-i-i" I uttered. "You what?!" the wolf asked, " I'mrunningawayfromthisreallybadplaceandgoingtoMontana!" I bearthed out really quickly. "What?" the wolf asked in a confused manner. " I running away and going to montana" I translated, the wolf's face softened,

"really?"

"yup"

"why?"

"becuase..." tears stared to swell in my eyes "it's a long story" I said.  Then, I told him my story and what had happened, by the end, the wolf's face had softened completely. "Wow......" the he said. " what's your name?" he asked me.

"Kaya, what's yours?"

"Black hawk, son of balto"

"Wow! that's a cool name!"

"Thanks"

He  puased and looked at me, "um, well you won't be able to survive all alone, so I'm coming with you,to protect you of course" He said kinda slowly. I tought about what he had said, " I have been living in the wild for years, and I could show you a thing or two" Blackhawk added in. Before I could give him my answer, I heard a crashing sound coming closer, and closer,  "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!" the freako man yelp as he fired off his pistol in all in directions, "get down!" Black Hawk warned me as we dove into a small berry bush, after the man left Black Hawk make sure the cost was clear "okay its safe" he said well he pulled me out of the berry bush.

I looked at him "okay, you can come with me, but in return, you gotta help me once we get there" I told him. "Cool!" he said. then. there was complete silantce after that for about 2 seconds"Well come on Fluffy, lets go" Black hawk said in a spainish accent, I laughed at that, and we headed for Montana....

Chapter 8~

 

 It had been a week since me and Black hawk met. He had become a causal friend, but not my boyfriend,YUCK!- I had just brought us break fast, when I noticed Black Hawk wasn't where we made camp for the night. "Black Hawk?" I called out,"Kaya! come qickly!" his voice criend in the distance, I found a safe place to save our break fast, and dashed to were his voice was coming from, I came to a clearing were a huge pond was, I scaned the pond carefully. Then, something pulled me under, I srceamed, but my cry was dround in the water, I surfaced, and turned around, and there was black hawk LAUGHING at me!

" why you son of a-" my words were cut off by my self trying to hold back the dirty things I was about to say. Instead of dirty languge, "hey!look over there" I said, Black Hawk glanced and I pounced on him. He looked at me in a strange way and splashed me, I splashed him back, and pretty soon we had stared a mililanoius water fight, we spashed and splashed, and palyfully squirted each other. Then, we swam around and chated.

After swiming, we got out and shook oyr selfves off. "Man! that was FUN!" Black Hawk said. "Totally!" I replied. We when back to our camp to she that every thing was torn to shreds! and our food was gone! "aww crud' I siad. "well, we shouldget a move on if we ever wanna get to montana" Black Hawk told mehis eyes lid from side to side supsiciously, I picked up was was NOT completey torn to shreds and we kept on movin'.

Chapter 9~

 We had traveled for many days and nights. It seemed like it would take for ever. " Are you sure you know wich way were going?" I asked Black Hawk "Yup" he siad. " I can feel it in my nugets"...."thank you for sharing" I said in an eritated tone.

He rolled his eyes and and mumbled something to him self "What?" I asked him. "oh..nothing.." he replied

"come on, I KNOW somethings buggin you"

"it's nothing"

"but we promised that we would tell each other everything"

"well, it's not important"

"Y-"

"NO IT'S NOT!!!!" Black Hawk yeld, "I'm just trying to protect you!" he chimed in and ran away. "Well fine! I didn't need you anyway!" I bellowed, I ran way, faster, and faster, I didn't need him. I had my self-I kept on runing, it had gotten colder and colder, I stoped. And what I saw was a HUGE

 

 lake completely covered in ice. I took a shakey step on to the ice,and another,and another, pretty soon I was galloping across in a bit of a sliding manner when CRRRR-AAAACCCKK! the ice under me broke and I was draged down!

Chapter 10~

I tried to find some way out but I couldn't I just kept goning down when a strange figure grabbed me. The figure pulled me out, "hey, Ciro! I found 'er"

"well, done aprentice"

"thank you sir"
