"Good - night, Balto." Jenna thought sadly. It was the night that the month was going to end, and Jenny's before wasn't lighting up. She was was igroning Balto now, and Balto frustrated, confided his feelings into Jenna. "Jenna's really starting to enrage me, what did I do so wrong that she hates me?!" Jenna had tried to tell Balto that she was really under a spell in which Jenna and Jenny switched bodies. But when Jenna tried, her mouth snapped shut, and she couldn't open it until she thought of something else.

Now, lying on the carpet of Jenny's home, Jenna gazed at the full moon, and whised someone would answer her prayer to fix this mess. Jenna's eyes closed and in a few minues she was asleep. Little did she know that Aniu still had one more trick up her sleeve, that would indeed fix this mess.

When Jenna woke up, she was in a room in Rosy's house, exactly where she should be. She pushed the door with her nose, and padded into Rosy's room. There slpet a brown mass of fur, Balto. His paw still wrapped with white gaze, he slept peacefully, dead to the world. Jenna knew she would be scolded if she jumped on Rosy's bed and wake her up, (Another reason she wanted her sister to de an agonizing death, is that she might have ruined her realtionship with Rosy) but, she wanted to make up for her sister's cruelty.

Jenna lightly hopped on Rosy's bed, licking the little girl's face. Rosy woke up, and shied away from Jenna at first but then smiled timidly and stuttered, " Go-Good Morning,- Je-Jen-Jenna, sleep well?" Jenna barked happily in respose, and Rosy patted the top part of her left ear, Jenna's favorite spot. Maybe there realtioship wasn't tarnished? Balto rosed around in his sleep before he woke up.

He opened one yellow eye, then the other. He yawned showing rows of white, dagger like teeth. Despite herself, Jenna flinched. Although she loved Balto with all her heart, there was always the chance he could snap and seriuosly injure someone. Part of her wanted to believe that she was right, that Balto could never sucumb to his wolf side, and the other part of her told her to be wary. he  spotted Jenna, his eyes almost became, full of anger and disgust. He nuzzled Rosy, hopped off the bed, and out the bedroom door.

Minutes later the kitchen's doggie door banged severel times, then slowly started to quiet. But each of those bangs brought despair among Jenna, she knew to slage their love, she would need need a miracle. And it was on its way.

After a meal of kibble, Jenna herself went through the doggie door, to try to rekindle a lost cause. But befre she could start searching a White and lavenaer ball of fluff ran acroos the lawn and slid onto the porch. "Jenna, you'll never guess who's going with Steele now!" the voice gushed. "Who Dixie?" already knowing. "Your sister, Jenny!" Dixie panted enthusiastically. Jenna inhaled then exhaled slowly, "C'mon Dix lets find Slyvie and have fun today at the beach." Dixie was already off the porch and flying to Slyvie's home, she was so fond of the beach, well more of the sunbathng then the beach, but Jenna just wanted to be with her friends after a long, hard month.

Upon reaching Slyvie's large home, Dixie began to jump up in front of the front door, barking hysterically. When Slyvie slid through the door, she yawned and said, " So, what're we doing today, you two?" While Dixie explained about the beach, Jenna thoghts drifted to Balto, where was he? He could have run away?, or just taken a stroll. When Jenna felt the grittiness of the sand below her feet she knew they had reached the beach. Dixie Immdetitley found a spot in the sune, and was talking a mile a minute about couples, puppies, and fights. Slyvie seemed to keep up with her surprislingy well, so Jenna gently drifted off to sleep.

BANG!

A loud crash echoed around the beach, nearly deafning Jenna. "Wh-What was that?!" Sylvie asked clearly shell- shocked. "I don't know, let's find out." Jenna suggested. Sylvie and Dixie picked themselves up, and jogged with  Jenna toward where the sound came from. A small section of the beach's sand had been blwon awy, leaving a small crater in the sand. Inside a small red Siberian Husky mix, lay at the botton, coughing for air. He had probably fallen in at the time the sand had exploded. " Are you hurt?" Jenna called down. The stranger shook his rather handsome head, " Nope, I'm fine. Just need to get myself out of here." He answered in a melodoius voice.

He stood slowly and carefully, making sure nothing was broken. Then he heaved himself out of the hole. Jenna noticed a black racing collar around his neck, it said his name was Ed? Oh wait, not Ed, the sand had covered a letter,R. R-E-D, Red? Makes sense he is a red husky, Jenna to herself. "Thanks for finding me he", spoke to the group but glanced at Jenna. "Tell me, what's your names?" Dixie puffed out her chest of fur to the handsome stranger, "Dixie" she chored. Sylvie batted her eye lashes, "I'm Slyvie, sweetie." She spoke in a flirtcoius tone, "And I'm Jenna." She was angry at her friends for making the stranger feel like a boy toy.

"Jenna, Dixie, and Slvyie. A pleasure to meet you all." Red said warmly his mouth streched into a smile. Beside Jenna Dxie blushed a deep red, she was such a flirt! "I would hate to be rude, but could you ladies direct me to town?" Red asked politely. " Oh, Red you're SO polite!" Dixie gushed. Know Jenna knew why she didn't like to really go anywhere with Dixie, she was overwhelming. " Sure, Red. We'll take you to town, anyone you're looking for?" Red seemed to dwell on the question until finally, " Yes, I'm looking for Balto he anywhere in town?" Balto, Jenna sighed to herself. She was gonna have to face him sooner or later. She prefered later. " Uh, I don't know, Red. But we'll help you look." Jenna offered. Red's face broke into a grateful grin, " Thank's you three, it's just some idol chatter."

As the group walked into town Jenna spotted Jenny, and glared icily, making Jenny look down in shame. Latley, Jenny had been thinking that maybe Steele was the bad guy after, all. But only particalay of course. The fact was she was madly in love, and that love would never fade. A flash of brown across the street made Jenna look up. Balto? Perhaps he was watching her, with this male dog.

"um, I think I see him, Red. Want me to get him for you?" Red nodded his gorgeous head and flashed a signature smile. Jenna barely noticed though, because she was taking off after Balto. His secent reached her nose, making it simple to track him down. The trail ended at Balto's boat.  Of course, he would be their how stupid of me! Jenna scolded herself. Jenna silently climbed the plank towards, were Balto was gazing towrds the setting sun.

"Jenna?" He asked without turning around, the bitter tone was gone, but the hurt still remained. "Balto, please can I explain everything. Its so inconvicble that I'm still shell - shocked." Balto's auburn eyes welled with tears, " Jenna, why did you treat me like that? I felt like I did before-" Balto looked away. " I'm sorry Balto, I know this is hard to believe but, I was under a spell." Balto's wet eyes looked confused, " Great now you're going nuts!" Jenna sighed patintely, " Look, Listen it all started.........."

" Sounds, like a nightmare. I'm sorry I didn't believe you Jenna, My mom warnd me not to be foolish but I clearly didn't listen." He smiled crookedly, oddly like Red. " It's okay, Balto. Let's put it behind us." They walked off the ramp together and into town. They saw Dixie, mumbling" God, I thoght I'd found a mate, and the guy just says I gotta go, back home now? What a jerk, if he ever comes back here!" She walked back to her home, head low still grumbling.

Jenna and grinned at Balto and Balto at Jenna and togehter they walked to see the sunset.
