(just to make it clear, i totally disregard the last two movies, they were done horribly and are what i believe brought Balto down)

The End

wolfgirl_jenna_balto

Balto wasnt too old, just slightly. He still had alot of spring in his step, and he didnt even consider himself old. Jenna was younger than him, so he liked to keep himself "young" so he could keep up with her. He was accepted greatly in Nome now, ecspecially since Steele had run off a while ago, due to stubborness, irritation, and embarrassment. He had compelled all in Nome to be against him, so him gone made all things better.

Balto was on his way to Jenna's house to invite her for an evening stroll. She, of course, accepted, and they made their way to their special hill to watch the Northern Lights. That was their special thing. That was one of the things that brought them together, Balto's fake one. They never missed the lights.

They were walking in the sparse outskirts of the thick forest, nuzzling and whispering softly to each other, while a pair of ice cold blue eyes watched vengefully from the dark, thick part of the forest.. A vicious growl escaped from bared jaws, and it silently went after the lovers. It flew under the constant cover of the darkness, right on their heels. Suddenly, it stopped, and as if it had changed it's mind, and shot off in the oppisite direction.

Balto and Jenna hadnt noticed a thing, and they made it to their evening date and sat down. The only light was the beautiful aurora borialis. Jenna laid her dainty head on Balto's shoulder, and Balto lightly laid his head on hers. They stared off into the brilliant night together.

Balto and Jenna ended up falling asleep there. Jenna woke up with her head nestled in Balto's soft fur. She got up lightly to her feet, so as not to sleep her waking mate, and floated down the hill. She stood there, stretching and waking herself up, when a dark shadow passed in front of her, in the thik woods. Jenna was awake. She stared with large, afraid eyes, waiting for something bad to happen.

Balto awakened, and noticing that his mate wasn't beside him, he got up to see where she went, then saw her at the bottom of the hill. He walked down to say good morning.

"Good morning, love"  Balto said sweetly.

"AHHHHHHHH"  Jenna screamed

"Whats wrong with you this morning, Jenna. You seem jumpy,"

"Oh, Balto. It's you. I dont know. I had a nightmare, I guess."

"Oh, thats alright. Let's get home."

They began to walk back towards Nome, but Jenna took one more glance behind her, just to be safe.

Balto and Jenna strolled back into town, when the same pair of cold eyes were peering at them angrily from under a porch. This time, though, they werent alone.

"Dad, why are we under here. It's so dingy and dirty. Cant we get back to our cave?"  said a young voice. Reluctantly, the father pulled his eyes away from his enemies and fulfilled his son's request. Tehy slunk back to their cave. Back home, the father and son were greeted by five more young children and their mother.

Balto dropped Jenna off at her house, and made his way to his boat to get ready for his guy's night. He jumped into the water to clean off, and shook himself off. Boris patted his fur down with his downy wings and he was ready. He trotted off back towards Nome to Kaltag's house. He walked in and frowned when he saw Nikki, Kaltag, Star, Darkwind and Kodi all waiting for him.

"Oh! Im sorry! Am I too late?" Balto said.

"No, no problem. We were just talking to Darkwind. Wondering about how fun hunting is." Kaltag said.

"I told them the basics. Ready to teach them?" Darkwind asked.

"Oh, sure. You guys ready? I am telling you, a meal you killed yourself tastes so much better than one that is serves to you in a silver dish!" Balto said excitedly."Yeah, lets move!" They all yelled in chorus. All six guys ran off into the night to hunt as a wolf/dog pack.

Balto woke the next morning, content from his large meal the night before. His eyes were still blurry, but he knew he saw a dark figure perring at him, then disappearing when he was fully awake. Balto shot up, terrified, and looked around crazily.

"Balto, you crazy pooch, what are you doing?! I am trying to get some shuteye!" Boris screamed from the corner of the room.

"Sorry, Boris, I thought I saw something on the boat. It was nothing, I guess."

"Yeah, well go blab about it somewheres else!"

Balto trotted outside when he was pounced on by an always lively Jenna. Balto jumped and yelped, terrified at the thought of the thing he saw on top of him. Jenna fell off when he jumped, and she shook herself off, then got up and looked at Balto, confused.

"What was that for?" She asked him. Balto looked up and gave a sigh of relief.

"Oh, it's you. Sorry for my reaction"

"Guess Im not the jumpy one this morning, huh!" Jenna exclaimed.

"Yeah," Balto chuckled nervously.

"Hey, so you wanna go on another date, late tonight?"Jenna whispered softly. Balto looked at her, confused.

"We were just on a date the night before last, werent we?"

"Yeah, but I wanna talk to you, Balto. Away from our friends and the town."

"Oh, well, sure. See you tonight, then." Jenna leapt gracefully off the boat and sprinted towards Nome.

Later that evening, Balto made his way to Jenna's house. Jenna walked unusually close to Balto on the way, and they were sharing their warmth. She began to lead, and they made their way through the woods. Jenna stopped by a waterfall, and told Balto to just go lay down by the falls, and that she would be right over so they could talk. Balto went over and lay down next to him, real close, with her bandana left back by the woods. They both stared down at the sparkling stream for a while when Jenna suddenly licked him lovingly on the cheek. Balto returned the favor. She repeated this gesture. Something in Balto's mind clicked, and he saw where this was going. He smiled at her lovingly and it began. New life began to grow inside Jenna that night.

Jealous eyes peered upon this event, the ice blue eyes that had been following them for a week now. The jealousy disappeared, because he remembered his lover waiting at home. But he couldnt peel his eyes off of this scene as hard as he tried. He still loved her. When he finally looked away, he ran towards home.

"Steele, I was worried about you dear. You've been gone for hours. Are you alright?"

"Yes, Natalie, my dear. Im fine. I was watching those two idiots again. Planning."

"OOOH! It so makes my blood boil when I think about the wrongs done to you, Steele! I just want to rip their heads off!"

"All in due time, my dear. All in due time. We need to plan this carefully, or it wont work," Steele said softly in her ear.

"Alright. But speed it up a little?" Natalie asked hopefully. "Sure thing, dear, sure thing."

(many months have passed)

Balto and Jenna had been in bliss for months, not being bothered by their shadow stalker anymore. Balto couldnt wait to be a father, and Jenna was happy to be having pups with her one and only. They were sitting in the boat, Boris snoozing, when Jenna's water broke. Balto shot up, shook Boris awake, and ran over to comfort Jenna. Boris grabbed the towels and water bucket he had on hand for this occasion. Jenna was having painful contractions, but he had to go get Rosie and the rest of Jenna's family. He ran outside, and happened to run into Darkwind, who was coming over for a visit.

"Darkwind! Go in there and help Jenna. Her water broke and she is in labor! I need to get her people. Comfort her and do gentleman-y stuff like that. I will be back!" Balto ran off excitedly, and Darkwind ran in and did what he was told. Balto made it to Jenna's house and howled loudly ouside of their front door. Jenna's people came out, surprised, and saw a crazed Balto outside their door. Balto made motions toward his boat, and they were off.

Jenna had given birth to 5 pups by the time he and Rosie's family got there. Balto ran to her side, and he was a happy father. Rosie was so happy, as well as her parents. None were worried about their wolf heritage. It was a happy scene.

Steele was staring in through a crack, mouth agape, and he knew the time was coming fast. He watched for a while, and ran back to his cave to give the new news to his growing family.

A few weeks passed, and the pups were sleeping down in Jenna's basement, while Jenna was two floors above. A dark figure slunk in through a broken window, and stole away with the basket of 5 pups.

"Daddy? Is that you?" A dark red one asked innocently.

"No, but Im your worst nightmare. And you will never see the light of day again." Steele said viciously. Steele made it to his family, in the boiler room, and they slaugtered the 5 helpless pups right then and there. They left them there, mangled and bleeding, and ran across rooftops so their trail would be hard to find. Steele and his family lay down in their cave, Steele, Natalie, and his 3 older pups, and watched the new falling snow cover up their tracks. This was only the beginning.

Jenna woke and ran down to check on her pups, and found all of them missing. She ran upstairs in a panic, through the dog door, and flew towards Balto's house. She stumbled into him and they both rolled through the snow, Jenna stunned, Balto chuckling.

"What are you doing out here, love? I was coming to see the pups when-"

"Theyre gone! I woke up to check on them and they were gone!" Jenna yelled. Balto went immedietly into serious mode.

"Were they kidnapped? Was there any evidence? Glass, pawprints, anything?" Balto asked calmly.

"No! There is a broken window in the basement.....and I put them down there......Oh! Balto, its all my fault! I put them down there!" Jenna cried.

"No! Its not your fault! We need to go find them. Lets go!"

Balto and Jenna ran off toward Jenna's house to check more thoroughly when they ran into a terrified Star.

"B-Balto! Come on! Bad news in the boiler room!" Star scrambled off to the boiler room, Jenna and Balto hot on his trail. When theyarrived, there was a huge crowd. Kaltag rushed everyone out of the room, leaving a pool of blood in their place. Puppy blood.

Jenna flung herself upon her heap of lifeless pups, sobbing uncontrollably. Balto fell on his side in agony. His PUPS! Dead! His heart was wrenching in pain. He pulled himself together and stood shakily. Jenna lifted herself off of the bloody heap, her beautiful, glossy fur stained red. She ran over and buried her face in Balto's thick, soft fur, and wept more. Seeing her so broken made Balto's heart drop, and he fell to the floor. They stayed on the bloody floor weeping together over their poor defenseless pups who never really had a chance to live. Balto stood up, and Jenna followed, both of their faces stained with blood and tears, and nuzzled.

"Jenna, crying isnt going to solve this. We need to ask Darkwind to get him and a few of his wolf buddies to help sniff out this murderer, or even murderers. Lets go." Balto and Jenna raced toward the woods that Darkwind usually hunted in. When they reached him, they requested his help, and he accepted. He told them that he and his buddies would be by the boiler room at dawn, and to meet them there. Jenna and Balto broke off and went to their homes. Both had much trouble sleeping. They both had horrible nightmares about the terrible, torturous deaths of their poor puppies.

At dawn, Balto and Jenna met Darkwind at the boiler room as planned, and the 4 wolves began their search. Jenna and Balto went and talked to people to see if they had seen anything suspicious. Noone had seen a thing the night before, so they were relying on Darkwind and is buddies to find the culprit.

Later that night, Jenna and Balto were walking the streets of Nome when they were stopped by Darkwind and his posse.

"Did you find them?' Balto and Jenna asked in chorus.

"No, but we did find this." The 6 canines ran to a dark alley. Darkwind pointed Balto to a dark corner, and Jenna followed. They crept closer, and found Nikki, Kaltag, and Star's mangled bodies thrown into the corner. Both were so shocked that Darkwind had to nudge them back to their senses. Another bloody crime scene. Who was this homicidal being who was out to get those in Nome? It didnt make sense.

Darkwind and his wolf friends went home, and Balto stayed at Jenna's so they could try to put this puzzle together.

"Well, Nikki, Kaltag, and Star definatly dont look like puppies, so the perpatrator isnt just after pups," Jenna stated.

"Yeah. So what connections do those three have with our pups?" Balto thought aloud.

"Maybe their after dogs? Our pups look more like dogs than wolves........" Jenna pointed out.

"No, no. You can tell a mixed breed from a purebred. I wonder......" Balto's voice carried off.

"What?" Jenna asked tensley.

"Well, I dont want to scare you, but I think these murders may be linked back to us. The murderer is killing those closest to us. Our puppies, our friends...." Jenna gasped at the point Balto made. Both were ravaged with terror.

When they woke the next morning, they stayed inside all day, terrified of finding more friends murdered or being killed themselves. They finally crept out after dark, and started smellind around themselves.

They got close to the woods and began to discuss where they were going next when they heard vicious growling deep in the woods. They followed the sound until they found a bloody, bruised, but still alive Darkwind staggering his way toward them.

"Darkwind! What happened!" Jenna screamed in horror.

"I............was attacked.........." Darkwind collapsed at their feet. Jenna found a few of his pack members and told them to take him to Dorrell, a canine vet in Nome. Balto called her over, and they followed a trail of bloody pawprints, alot of pawprints, toward a cliff. At a dead end, they didnt know where to turn to.

"Now I've got you right where I want you!"

Balto and Jenna swung around, only to be face to face with Steele and 4 more canines behind him.

"Steele! What are you doing here! Wait.........STEELE! YOU ARE THE MURDERER!" Jenna yelled in a mix of anger and terror.

"Guilty as charged. But It doesnt matter. Noone will know because there will be noone to testify....." Steele said smugly.

Balto and Jenna looked at each other, knowing these were their final hours, and excanged a passionate glance.

"Aww, love. I should know, since this is my family......" Steele crooned. Balto growled. He prepared himself and leapt onto Steele's back, biting into the thick flesh on the back of his neck. Steele gave a slight whine, then a rumbling growl. He flipped himself over, then quickly got up, leaving a body-slammed balto cringing in the snow. Jenna gave a fierce growl and attacked Steele gracefully but effectively. She got a holf of his softer, gore sensitive flesh lower on his neck, then twisted and pulled as if playing with a dog toy, leaving a blood-gushing gap in her place. Steele gave a yelp in agony, and Natasha grabbed Jenna by the tail and threw her. Jenna staggered to her feet to clean Steele's blood off of her face when Natasha rammed into her side with full force. Jenna flew and hit a tree. Then Steele's three strong children got in the mix.

It was looking very grim for Balto and Jenna. They were outnumbered. With Jenna out cold, Balto had to fight on his own. He grabbed the smallest of Steeles children and flung her high in the air, and then the other two yearlings attacked him viciously. Jenna wobbled to her feet and jumped into the dogpile, using all of her strength to pull the half wolves off of her love. Steele noticed this and grabbed her small leg with the bite force of a hyena. He heard the sound of cracking bone and gave a sinister chuckle. Jenna cried out in pain,  and Steele threw her. She was inches from falling off of the cliff. Balto broke away from the mob and was caught by surprise when Natasha grabbed his neck. She hit his spinal cord and paralyzed him. She threw him and he landed next to Jenna. Steele laughed. He walked over to them and stood over them in supereority.

"Noone messes with Steele. This is what you get." He put one paw on each of the two dogs.

"And I will never be caught......" He pushed and they fell. They fell through the air, bloody, bruised, and beaten, and landed, Balto on top of Jenna. Jenna lifted her head weakly and and licked Balto on the cheek. Her head dropped in total abscence of energy.

"I will love you forever........." Balto whispered.

"Always......." Jenna returned.

And they were dead.
