This was it. The Boogy Man licked his lips, drool dripping from his mouth, a gesture that would soon mean something.

The Boogy Man stalked through the room, his fur muddy gray and wet from the outside, stepping lightly and silently. Drool dripped onto the carpeted floor, leaving a tiny wet spot. His lips started to curl upwards as he inched closer to his prey, the sleeping child. This boy was the master of those who hurt him all those years ago, and he was going to avenge himself and destroy his enemies' hearts. And then eat them.

He was a large canine, a bit bigger than a Saint Bernard. His ears were long and could hear for miles, his muzzle narrow and with drool hanging from his maw. He nudged a toy away from his path silently with one paw, smirking.

He stalked to the bed now, flexing his toes as he stopped near the edge. Good. The child was on the edge, an easy reach. He flicked his long ears, made for listening.

Nothing. Good. His tiny noises had not roused his enemies from their slumber, nor the child's parents. He smiled a sadistic smile as he opened his jaws to the child's neck.

The young girl roused a little, groaning and her sleep and moved a little. He stopped. Her eyes inched open, and for a moment, locked onto his red-orange glowing ones, and then she saw his jaws. Just as she opened her mouth to scream, he clamped his jaws together, the sound not making it past her open lips.

Quickly, The Boogy Man lept out her bedroom window, onto the roofing, and down to the ground with a small thud. He looked up at the room and smiled as the bedroom light turned on, and a woman screamed. "The girl's mother... Such sweet, sweet sorrow. Sorry, pet, but you'd have to blame your pets for this 'un." He thought, running into the bushes and vanishing as the father and older brother came running into the room to look at the bloodied bed, the "pets" surely at their heels.

Six Days, Four Hours Later
The Creepy Thing shifted through the woods, thinking of his brother. How many times has he done that in one day? Ever since the incident with the little girl, back when they were teens, The Creepy Thing and The Boogy Man had never been the same. Had it not been for their current "issues", The Creepy Thing would have never come to find his little brother.

Had it not been for the news reports about people being brutally murdered while sleeping, he would have never known where to even start looking for his aloof, crazy brother.

"Geez, where are you, you little crapper?!" He talked to himself, yelping aloud when he tripped over something on the leafy ground. An arm. No, a leg. No...
A body.

Now he knew he was close. The Boogy Man had never been one for cleaning up after himself. The Creepy Thing shook his head with a sigh, and sniffed the air. Nothing. Could his brother just vanish, or was he hidden amongst the forest?

The Boogy Man yawned as he lifted his ears and listened. He expected his brother to find him, and he anticipated the meeting. He had long been awaiting the next encounter with his worst enemy, and had played in his head different situations of the encounter... He was going to try and kill his only brother.
