Deep in the forests of Black Thorn a male wolf stalks through the night. Black shadows extend from every tree. They fall on his figure with ease. His bright blue eyes flicker as the moonlight hit them. This beastly creature would run all through the night. His paws would thump against the hard forest floor. He was following his sister, Barbwiire, through the darkening night. The breeze flew through the pines, oaks, and ferns. An occasional hoot from an owl was heard with the sweet melody of crickets. Frogs also joined the chorus of night. The lush forest extended from miles on end. Lakes were spread out and mountains towered over the lands. Rivers slapped their banks and waterfalls poured into their bases. Fire bugs fluttered in the darkness. Their light was just enough to show some of the detail throughout the forest.

"Wait up Barbwiire!" he called. This male was named Wreckage. His smooth grey coat flew back as he speed after her. A blue X was planted on his back. Black tiger stripes went along his front right leg. His left paw was tinted blue. Wreckage's tail flew behind him as he galloped after Barbwiire.

"Come on Wreck! We have to keep moving. If we were to stop we could get ambushed. You can't trust anyone!" Barbwiire barked back. She was in a hurry to get back to her lands. She was Elite warrior, of coarse she needed to protect her pack. Also she was thinking of the meat she was missing. Her lower ranking pack members were probably snacking on her meat. She snorted and continued on going a tad bit faster. A branch hit her across the face as she continued to sprint. She shook off the impact and looked back at Wreckage. He missed the branch, thankfully.

Wreckage was indeed smaller then Barbwiire. Wreckage was an average grey wolf but had the smallest bit of dire in him. On the other hand Barbwiire was a full Demonic dire from the North Star pack. They continued on through the woods as the stars up above twinkled brightly. A sudden howl cracked from out of the brush up ahead. What could this be? This would surely slow them down. Wreckage was indeed a loner but helped Barbwiire with her daily patrol. North Star's lands were north of here but they considered the lands of Black Thorn their home aswell. They always left marks there and visited daily.

Barbwiire haulted as her pelt bristled up. Her tail was held high and her ears were facing foward and pricked. A growl came out of her mouth as her claws dug deep into the soil. Wreckage soon trotted up next to her taking his stance. His breath slowly calmed and his tail was held even with Barb's. Wreckage shot a quick gaze at Barb's face. Still clueless to what was happening he stood tall and continued to snarl along with Barb. The bushes rustled again. Barbwiire barked furiously into the brush. A dreadful snarl came from the bush.

"Show your pathetic whelp!" Barbwiire barked towards the bush. Fearless as she was, she could take any challenge.

"What's happening?" Wreckage whispered to her.  The concern in his voice brought questioning into Barbwiire's ear.

"Seems like we have company." she whispered back. Her consentration would not be interupted.

Saliva dripped from her maw as her muscles flexed. Her green mo-hawk stood tall with the rest of her fur on her neck. Barbwiire was ready to fight to the death. Wreckage watched in amazement as she took such a dominant stance. Her green eyes glowed with the fury within her. Suddenly a long black figure appeared from out of the bush. It swiftly landed on the ground before Barbwiire and Wreckage. The dirt flew up from under her.

"Well what do we have here?" the Black female snapped at them.

"I could say the same thing considering this isn't your turf. It's mine." Barb growled. Barbwiire's determination to show her dominance took much effect. She looked quickly over at Wreckage. "Stay out of this." she said towards him. "If anyone should die it should be me." She looked at Wreckage with worried eyes and then firmly motioned him to back away. Green fire burst from her paws. This was her dire powers taking effect.

"Yes it should be you my dear." the black wolf snapped. "My name is Ebony by the way." she sneered. Ebony gazed down at the fire and shivered slightly. "What powers does this female hold?" she thought to herself.

"Give me one good reason I shouldn't rip the insides of your corpse outside." Barbwiire barked. Flames flickered wildly on her paws. The greenish glow beamed brighter then ever.

"Alright then, I'll give you a reason... Your pathetic attempt to challenge me will cost your life." Ebony cackled.

"You bastard! You shouldn't judge a wolf by it's cover." Barb snarled. She suddenly pushed of the ground with rage and bolted towards the female's front left leg. Before long Ebony cried out in pain as Barb's jaws clamped down on her limb. Disobeying Barbwiire was Wreckage's best stratagey. Soon he bolted into the fight without fear. Wreckage grasped Ebony's ear and started thrashing around wildly. Ebony quickly turned and bit Wreckage on the neck. The pressure was dreadful. Blood dripped from him. He howled in pain from the bite. Barbwiire saw the quick turn around and decided to use it to her advantage. She released her grip on the leg and bit into Ebony's exposed muzzle. Barbwiire lifted her firey paw and put pressure onto Ebony's chest. The burning sensation hurt Ebony so much that she loosened her grip so that Wreckage was let free. Wreckage felt pain rush into his system. The fire sent into Ebony's system came through her bite into his blood. The world spinned around him. He wobbled around and hit his cranium on a nearby tree. All went black...
