Steele raced foward and won the race. This would be his second chance as sled dog.  Later that same day Steele was lounging around the boiler room. It was nice and warm. Outside it was cold. All of a sudden a dog walked into the room. She was red and white and she reminded Steele of Jenna only with a red body,white,socks on her front legs (she looks like the white muzzled pup from Balto II only in this fic she looks older). "Hello. I'm Steele." Steele said. The dog smiled. Im Rhea sorry if I bothered you." the dog said. Steele smiled back. You didn't bother me. How about you come in...but that is if you want to come in." Steele said. Rhea came in. Steele and Rhea became friends when one day Steele asked her something. "Rhea....just one night just one night." Steele said. Rhea knew what Steele was talking about. "No way cause you can't pay-" Rhea said. "In the name of love...one night in the name of love." Steele interrupted. "You crazy fool I won't give in to you!" Rhea said. "Don't...leave me this way....I can't survive without your sweet love. Oh baby...don't leave me this way!" Steele said. Than Balto appeared. "STEELE! Leave my daughter alone" Balto shouted. Rhea looked to see Balto. "Steele run! I'll handle this!" Rhea said. Steele ran to the boiler room. "Dad! What is it?" she asked Balto. Bato sighed. "Why were you with Steele?" Balto asked. "What does it matter? We're just friends! Well Steele wants to be more than my friend" Rhea said. Balto glared.

"I forbid you to see him." Balto said before walking off. Once Balto was gone Rhea went to the boiler room she had tears in her eyes. Steele sighed. "Rhea whats wrong?" he asked. Rhea walked over to Steele. "Well my dad doesn't want me to see you" Rhea said. Steele nuzzled Rhea. Days passed and Rhea found herself falling for Steele. "We could be heroes just for one day." Steele said 

And news around Nome was that Balto had been missing. "Steele we need to look for my dad. And if we find my dad than you may have a chance and my dad may judge you as good." Rhea said.  Steele and Rhea went to look for Balto. They went into the woods to search for Balto and the snow was blowing into Rhea and Steele's faces. Rhea walked on something covered in snow. She found out what it was when she fell in. She was nearly freezing in the ice cold water.  Steele jumped in the hole that Rhea fell in. He swam until he had found Rhea and he dragged her out of the water. Rhea was able to wake up a few minutes later.

2 hours later

Steele and Rhea found Balto's scent and followed it.  They soon found Balto and Balto wasn't sure why Steele was with Rhea.  "Dad you have to trust Steele." Rhea said. Balto sighed. "Well atleast you are here Rhea." Balto said. Balto followed Rhea and Steele threw the woods. It took a few hours to get out of the woods and back to Nome.

Balto look at Steele and Rhea.  "Without you guys. I would've probaly been shot by a hunter or something." Balto said. Dogs saw Balto Rhea and Steele. "It was all because of Steele and my daughter,Rhea. " Balto pointed his muzzle at Steele and Rhea. 

That night Rhea and Steele layed in the boiler room "How wonderful life is now that we're in love." they both sang as they touched noses.
