The strange red and white sibarian husky came out from behind the tree. Balto was scared. He walked closer and closer to Balto. "Don't be scared, whats your name?" the strange husky laughed. "My name is Balto. Where did you come from? can you help me find my mate?" Balto asked. "Well okay for starters I'm Samantha, but you can call me Sam or Sammy. So tell me what happened about you and your mate, seen how you said, you lost her or something?" Sam said confused. Balto laughed.
"Ok well Sam," Balto started. "And then Seth attacked me, and the next thing I knew I was alone here with you," Balto finished the story. "My mates name is Jenna," Balto said. Sammy swallowed hard. She knew Jenna, they used to be best friends until they fought over a husky, and Sam almost killed Jenna. "Are you okay Sam?" Balto asked concerned. "Oh yeah I'm fine, I'm just a little hungry." Sam said putting on a convincing smile. But Balto wasn't convinced at all. He knew something BIG has made her upset. Does Samantha know Jenna? Balto asked himself. But he shook the thoughts out of his head. Theres no way they know eachother, theres probably a ton of dog's named Jenna.
"Okay so try and remember, where was the last place you and Jenna were together?" Sam asked. Balto thought long and hard. Finally he remembered. "The last place was our hometown, Nome. I remember me and Seth fighting and Jenna screaming at Seth to get off of me." Balto said. "Ok well let's go back to Nome, and see if she's there." Sam, sad walking towards the woods. "I doubt it, but its worth a try." said Balto following Samantha.
~Meanwhile~ Jenna kept walking, and she finally found a cave, she was so tired of walking so she decided to take a little rest. When Jenna awoke the sun was going down. She sighed. "I miss Balto so much" She said aloud without realizing it. "Jenna!" jenna heard a voice and turned around. "Ben! What are you doing here?" Jenna was suprised to see Ben. "I thought you were with your mate all the way back in Lynton. Well actually I was but then I needed to come back because I missed you guys so mcuh, wheres Balto?" Ben asked.
"Oh well, see thats the problem, I have no clue where Balto is." Jenna said looking down at the ground. Ben could tell that she missed him. "Oh, I'm sorry. But how did you to just.....lose eachother? Where was the last place you guys were together? Come on, I'll help you look for him." Ben said smiling at Jenna. "Ok. Well we were in Nome and after you told us that Seth was here and we didn't believe you, he showed up at our house. And I remember him attacking Balto, then he hit me across the face. Thats when I woke up and I was in some strange place." Jenna explained to Ben. "Oh I'm so sorry Jenna." Ben gave a comforting smile to Jenna and she felt a litte bit better.
Sam and Balto had been walking for a couple of hours when they spotted Seth. "Seth get away from me!" Balto yelled. "Oh whats the matter? Are you scared of me?' Seth said. The truth was that Balto was so scared of Seth. "No I'm not! Just leave me and Sam alone!" Balto yelled again. "Whats wrong? You dont think that I'm going to kill you?" Balto just stared at Seth keeping his distance from him. Seth saw the look on his face. "Oh well you do, how about you just follow me Samantha and Balto we can come to my house." Seth laughed then disappeared into the foggy woods. "Balto, what was that about?" Samantha asked once Seth was gone. "Oh nothing, I'll tell you later, but for now lets just keep on walking.
About 35 minutes later Balto and Sam arrived in Nome. "Ok Balto, where do you want to look first?" Sam asked looking around Nome. "Wow, its so beautiful her in Nome. Not like back where we live, everybody is so mean to eachother and the town is so dirty." Sam said. "Yeah I know. Well lets go to my house, she might be there." Balto suggested. "Ok." Sam agreed. Balto took the lead towards his house. They walked down a small hill and they finally looked at his house. Balto was terrified. His house had been burned down, and all he could think was Jenna could have been killed in that fire. Balto started to get all teary just thinking of Jenna. "Oh Balto I'm so sorry," Sam said feeling sorry for Balto.
Jenna and Ben headed out to look for some food. "Oh ben I cant look anymore, in the past 2 hours we have found no food. I am so starved!" Jenna said. Don't worry, we'll find something.....right?" Ben said looking through a bush. Just then "Ben I found some little berries!" jenna yelled excitedly that she gets to eat a little bit of food. "Yay for Jenna! Are you happy now, you found food!" Ben said. Jenna laughed and started to eat the berries. Ben joined her. "Mmmm these are good Ben, do you know what kind of berries these are?" Jenna asked. Ben just shook his head and kept eating.
About an hour later Balto was asking all the dogs in that town if they know what had happened to their house. Finally this one husky told them the whole story. "Well i remember going for a little walk to get some fresh air. I was walking by your house and i thought you might want to come for a walk with me. I came to the door and heard some strange husky looking in your house. I opened the dog door to se what hew as doing in tere. I noticed that your owner was out proably hunting or somethig I thought. then I saw him grab a stick and put it on the floor. I thought he was crazy whatever he was doing. The he found this weird thing that when he pressed this weird button thingy, fire came out from the end. He put the stick on fire with it. And spread it throuh out the house. Then when I was about to say something, he was talking to himself saying "Now thats what I call revenge Balto" And before I could do anything I got so scared and ran away a couple of yards away. The I see him run out just in time and the house flew up with flames." levi said.
Balto was terriefied. Then he was thinking. "Now that revenge Balto?" Balto thought deeper. "SETH!" He yelled. "Seth? Who's Seth?" Levi asked. "Its this dog that wants Jenna and he hates me" Balto said making the long story short. "Speaking of Jenna. Where is she?" Levi asked. As soon as he asked that Balto got all teary. "From what I know she could be dead by now." Balto said. Then in an instant he ran away, and Sam followed. They were running for about 30 minutes. Then Sam stopped. "Balto! Where are you going?" she asked. Balto stopped for a moment to answer Sam. "I'm looking for Jenna." right after he said that he ran full speed. He didn't have a clue where to look first. But he knew he had to find Jenna. Sam soon followed his trail right behind him.
Ben and Jenna decided to walk in a different direction then where they were going because all they have found was some more trees. "Ok Ben, I miss Balto so much!" Jenna began to cry. "Ben didn't hear Jenna and kept on walking. Jenna was suprised by this. "Uh Ben are you okay?" Jenna asked. "Oh yeah I'm fine, I'm just thinking about.....someone" Ben replied. "Who is it?" Jenna asked excitedly. "Oh its know one, you will never know them." Ben sighed. "Oh ok," Jenna said dissapointed. The truth was that Ben was thinking about Jenna. From this journey he realized that he had really strong feelings or her. But he thought that would never happen, because she loves Balto to much. Ben didn't want to be mean to Balto about that stuff being his cousin. But he doesn't think that Jenna and Balto are a perfect match.
When Balto stopped to take a breath he looked behind him and noticed that Sam had dissapeared. he decided he needed her along the trip so he went back to go look for her. He ran back and finally found Sam. She was laying on the ground. "Sam wake up" Balto said lightely. "Sam wake up!" He said a little harsher. He finally got frustrated and pushed her over with his nose and had seen a whole in her chest from where a hunter had shot her. The hunter noticed Balto and soon came out from his hiding. He shot his gun. But Balto doged it long before. He then shot the gun again but couldn't find Balto. He looked everywhere and thoght that he had killed him, then hopped in his truck and drove away.
It was about 3 hours later when Balto finally woke up. He had been shot in the leg but was still alive. He woke up in some strange house with a siberian husky which was staring down at him. "Where am I?" Balto asked. The husky didn't answer. "Hey, who are you? Can you tell me where I am?" Balto asked. After about 10 minutes he finally answered. "My name is Banjo. I was watching the whole thing where you got shot in the leg, so I decided to bring you back here." Banjo replied. "Well, thank you for saving me, I'm Balto, it's nice to meet you" Balto said.
Ben and Jenna decided to take a rest since they hve been walking for over 6 hours. They found a small little cave and decided to stay there for the night. "I'm going to go out and look for some food" Ben said when they got there. "Okay, I'll wait here." Jenna said. As soon as Ben was out of sight someone was talking to Jenna. "Hello Jenna, we finally meet again." The scarry and strange voice said from deep inside of the cave. "W-who are you?" Jenna askedholding her breath. "You know me" he said again. "W-whats y-your name?" Jenna asked again. "The husky came out into the light, and to Jenna's suprise it was Seth. "Seth! What are you doing here?" Jenna screamed. She was now crying becasue Seth reminded her so much of Balto. Seth I- I never want to see you again." Jenna said. "Oh yes you do, do you not remember me from when we were little?"Seth asked. Jenna thought Seth was crazy. "What are you talking about? I never knew you when we were little!" Jenna replied. "Oh yes you do, just think harder" Seth exclaimed. Jenna thought and though for what seemed like hours. Then a small little flash back came to her.
It was Jenna and Seth playing tag when they were little. But Seth had changed his name.
"Biscuit!" Jenna said remembering Seth's old name. Seth was really surprised that she remembered. "Jenna you remembered!" Seth soon turned to a normal voice. And his eyes began to change color from a dark dark brown to a light blue-grey color. "Seth what is happening to you?" Jenna asked scared of what was happening. Seth flew up in the sky adn the lights shingin on him, he changed back to his normal color which was a really light brown. "Seth?" Jenna asked again. As soon as it was over Seth talked. "There was a spell that some magical human cast on me and they turned me into the meanest and cruelest pereson alive. And the only one to break that spell was you. So thats why I have been looking for you all this time." Seth exclaimed. "Oh... but how come you changed your name?" Jenna asked. "Because if I told them my name was Biscuit everybody wouldn't believe me, because remember there was only one Biscuit in that whole town?" Seth asked. "Yes, I remember." Jenna said. "I just, can't believe its you! I've always thoguht that we would never ever see eachother again" " Me too, now can we be best friends again?" Seth asked. "Of coarse. But does your name have to be Biscuit? I mean come on, I have never actually liked that name" Jenna said
Ben came back and saw that Jenna was talking and laughing with some stranger. Ben soon felt jelous. "Hey Jenna, who's this?" Ben asked. "Uh, this is Seth... Seth this is Ben" Jenna introduced them. Ben some how recognized him, but never said anything. "It's nice to meet you," Seth said. "You too,
"Ben said trying to act enthusiastic, but Jenna wasn't totally convinced. A few hours went by and it was pitch black out. "We should get some rest guys," Jenna said looking at the sky. "Yeah, Jenna's right, it's getting pretty late" Ben said. Seth, Jenna, and Ben soon was snoring lightly.
They next day Balto was walking with Banjo, to go and find Sam. They soon found her a couple minutes away from Banjo's home. She was lying on the ground. Dead. To Balto surprised he shed a couple of tears. "Are you alright Balto?" Banjo asked. "I thought you hardly even knew her," "I know I ddin't know her at all, but I had a fun time with her while it lasted." Balto sighed and walked away. "Hey, uh Balto where are you going?" Banjo asked,
"To go find Jenna" he replied. "Wait for me" Banjo called after him.
The next morning Jenna and Seth soon woke up and sen that Ben was staring down at them. He was mostly looking at Jenna how beautiful face. "Um Ben what are you staring at?" Jenna asked. "Oh umm.. nothing" Ben said embarrassed. "We should get going guys, we really need to find Balto,' Seth exclaimed. "Yeah, Seth's right" Jenna said. Jenna now couldn't stop thinking about Balto. On the walk Ben wanted to ask Jenna something so badly but he was way to embarassed to ask especially when Seth was there. "Hey I'll be right back guys I thknk I found some berries over there and I'll get some for you guys. "Hey, umm Jenna?" Ben said thinking this was the perfect moment to ask her. "Yeah?" Jenna responded. "Um, I've been wanting to ask you something for a pretty long time," Ben said, "Yeah?" Jenna said waiting for her to ask her. "Um well, why do you love Balto? I mean have you ever thought about loving someone thats close to you besides Balto?" Ben said. Jenna felt really weird and didn't want to amswer. She knew that Ben was in love with her but she didn't want to say anything becasue it might ruin their friendship. "Well I love Balto for many reasons, I really don't want to say them. And for the other question there is one person. Seth. I mean when we were little we had so much fun talking and laughing ll the time. And I always thought that when we were older he would be my mate, until I met Balto which changed everything." Jenna explained. "Really?" Ben asked, "What happened?"
"Well it was one summer day and me and Ben were laughing and rolling around on the grass. We had so much fun back then. Balto was on the hill side and he was staring at us, I didn't notice him until Seth said something. Seth decided that we should go over to him and ask why he was staring at us. So we went over and as soon as I saw him up close, it felt as if the world was no where and I was just floating in space with him. I mean everytime I looked into his sparkling brown eyes, my heart felt as if it was pounding so fast. It seemed as if Balto felt the same way. Seth soon took me out of my gaze with Balto. I could tell that Seth knew how I was feeling about Balto. I think Seth loved me, and so I think he got jelous. He just looked at me as if I was the person that killed his mother. I could see tears forming in his eyes. And he ran away from me, I chaced after him down the hill but then Balto yelled at me saying that I don't need him. And I haven't seen him since, until now. I really have missed him and I have no clue why he would ever forgive me again. If my love did that to me then I would have never forgived them ever." Jenna finished, but little did she know that Seth was standing right behind her. "Wow, I had no idea. So does that mean you still love Seth still?" Ben asked verry curious. "Actually to tell you the truth, I do still love him, I've loved him since yesterday when we were together having fun adn everyhting. I guess I haven't realized how much fun me and Seth have always had together, more fun than anyone I have been with. Even Balto." Jenna said. "Are you ever going to tell him that?" Ben asked. "Probably not because I know he wont feel the same way." Jenna said looking at the ground. "Um Jenna, if I had upset you, I am really sorry." Ben said apolagizing. "No Ben, it's not your fault." Jenna said.
Seth soon came out form behind the bush eavesdropping there conversation. "Hey guys, I found some berries for you." Seth said. Jenna turned around and soon saw that Seth had a huge smile on her face and soon felt better by the second. "Seth completes my world" Jenna said quitely to Ben. Ben just stared at Seth. "What does she see in him?" he thought to himself. "I guess she will never love me." "Thanks Seth," Jenna said. "Yeah thanks" Ben said not looking at Seth with a hint of sadness and anger in his voice. They finished the berries and was on their way to find Balto. Jenna thoguht Ben acted strange after she told him that story. He was walking ahead of Jenna and Seth. Jenna was happy though because Seth seemed like having more fun. But then Jenna thought "Did he hear what me and Ben were talking about?" "Nah," Jenna said outloud. "What?" Seth asked Jenna looking at her strangely. "Oh its nothing I was just.........talking to myself" Jenna said thinking of something fast. "Oh ok" Seth said. "So um Jenna?" Seth started. "yeah" jenna answered. Ben was secretly listening to what they were saying but acted as if he was just walking by himself minding his own business. "Well um.... you know when I was picking those berries and you and Ben were talking? Well I kind of over heard what you said.......about me." Seth said looking at the ground embaressed.
Jenna laughed like it was nothing. But really she felt as if she wanted to cry she felt so embarressed. "Really?" Jenna asked " Yeha I did, but only the part about how you still love me and not Balto." Seth said. "Oh" Jenna said looking down at the ground. "And um Jenna if you really havent noticed that Ben is in love with you. He's been in love with you forever!" Seth said laughing a little. "What? What are you talking about? Ben doesnt love me. We are just friends. I mean come on you could go ask him right now and he would say that he only likes me as a friend." Jenna said even though she knew Seth was right. "Ok fine I'll ask him. He Be-" Seth started. "NO! Don't please. Ok, ok, I know he is in love with me. But I dont want to say anything because it might ruin our friendship. And he probably doesn't want to say anything either. And I really like being his friend. I mean he is a whole different person when he is not with you. It's really strange, because he knows that I love you. And he loves me, and ugh I cant even explain it right now." Jenna said laying down on the ground taking a little rest. "Oh yeah and Jenna I haven't told you but. I love you too." Seth said smiling at Jenna. To Jenna those words felt like a thousand pounds have been lifted of her shoulder.
"Do you really mean it Seth?" Jenna asked. Seth looked into her eyes. She felt as if she was just floating in the air, and know one could take her away from this gaze. "Jenna if I didn't mean it would I look you in the eyes and say that I love you more than anything in the whole entire world!" Seth said making Jenna's heart melt. "Aww, thanks Seth" Jenna said. "Um guys?" Ben said. And Jenna and Seth soon looked away embaressed. They had forgotten that Ben had been standing there the whole time. "You know Jenna, I really thought I could trust you. But I guess I was wrong." Ben said running away. "Ben! Ben stop! Wait Ben!" Jenna called after him. But Ben didn't stop. "I am such an idiot!" Jenna screamed. "No your not Jenna. Come on." Seth said running. "Where?" Jenna asked following him. "Hey, do you want to find Ben or not?" Seth said smiling.
