One dead dog is as interesting as one T.P piece, some use it but then it can be thrown away. Part One





Chapter: One
Time:12:54p:m 18.6 1928
Location:40 miles from Nome
Mission: Gather your Energy

Two dogs where walking towards their own camp where they had been ordered to go.

First one was a tan white husky who had brown around his eyes and the second one was a golden white husky who was carrying two large scars across his face.

"Hmm... I'm hungry," The first one snapped and looked at his friend. "Should we get something to eat?"

"No. We will continue towards that cursed camp!" The second one mumbled under his lips.

The first one shook his head. His name was Scope, ranked Pvt. "Hey Legion?" Scope asked and looked at his friend whose name was Comet but everyone called him "Legion" because he is an ex-Foreign Legion member. "Why did Barker order us to check Derag's* team?" (*M.S.D.F Operation: Silver Wind 1/3)

"Who knows," snapped Legion and sneered. "I bet that he is imbecile."

"Yeah you are right, Legion," Scope sighed and looked bored towards the sky where were few clouds. "Well Legion..? What do you know about Lucy?."

Legion made a clever smile towards Scope who was bit embarrassed. "So you like Lucy?" he said a bit
sarcastically and left Scope behind him. "Why do you like her?"

"Hey! Hey! Legion I never said that I liked her!" Scope defended himself weakly but he couldn't hide the feelings he had towards her. "I just...Well you know?"
Legion made a small smile to him and looked forwards.

After walking a few hours they saw Jetz who was in watch. "Hello boy's what’s up with you two?" he shouted
and walked towards them. "Password so that I can know that you are still on our side."

"Have big boss bit your butt?" Scope snapped when Jetz asked his question.

"Sorry Scope that isn't the right answer," Jetz said and smiled to Scope who shook his head. "This world is
getting crazier day by day!" Scope shouted and sat down.

"Yeah, the password is Orders from Aleksi," Legion said and giggled a bit.

"Why does it have to always be such a funny name? Last time it was bacon," Legion said and almost started laughing.

"Gold plate dog's* always want to be sure," Jetz said and looked at Legion who smiled at him. "But this is only some useless thing that I know! If someone were a traitor he would know that password." (*Nickname for Officers who got gold plates)

Scope snapped something and passed Jetz who always smiled peacefully.

"I hope Barker’s not in there," Scope mumbled while he walked towards the forest.

"Your luck! He is in there and wants to talk to you two," Jetz chuckled and walked back to his guarding post, which was behind some brush.

Scope growled to himself because he didn't want to talk to Barker. "Why do I have to see that "Show Dog*"? I can't stand him! I hope that he will die!"(Show Dog is usually calling name for dog's who don't want to fight, or mess-up their fur and stuff.)

"Scope I think that you are not wise!" Legion scolded and shook his head. "If you want to take him out, you have to take him on the front."

Scope made a look at Legion who disappeared into the forest. "Why should I get him on the front?" he asked himself, shook his head, and entered the forest.

When they arrived at the place where other soldiers where killing their time by sleeping or talking with each other, they saw a generally bigger black and white Siberian husky.

"Scope! You old..! What the hell were doing you in Derag's division?" He asked a bit curiously and licked his lips.

"Shut up!" Scope snapped and looked at his friend who sat down and looked peacefully at him. "Have you forgotten that you own me a few pieces of meat? I don't like it when you do that," Scope asked him and smiled cleverly.

"Yes Scope I have," Soldier said happily and smiled to Scope who growled quietly. "Little brother! You got to give back what is mine!" Scope yelled to that soldier who was called "Little Brother" but his real name is Andrai.

"Little Brother? Did you steal what I gave you?" Scope asked Little Brother who gave him only a smile. "No I didn't. As what kind of dog you are keeping me?" Little brother asked while he raised himself on all fours.

"The Biggest liar and cheater," Scope said and passed him and walked towards the other dogs who were talking with each other.

"Heya guys what are the day's news?" Scope asked and sat down next to an orange white husky who made a look at him.

"Heil Scope!" one half Husky and half German shepherd shouted and lay down. His name was Cooper, his coloring looked like that of other German shepherds; but he was bigger and he didn't have a straight tail.

"Hi to you too," Scope snapped and looked at the orange white husky. "So what does Speedy have today?"

Speedy looked up towards Scope's face and mumbled something strange.

"Ooh you poor doggy," Scope said and pushed him playfully so that he fell over. "Why did you fall?" Scope snapped and looked at Speedy who looked in the other direction.

"Why did you push me?" Speedy somehow succeeded to say while he raised himself back on all fours.

Scope smiled at him and looked back at the other dogs who were laughing about something.

"Scope?" One Husky said with strange accent and looked at Legion who walked next to him. That soldier was Salama for called name "Lightning" and he had light silvery-white fur.

He and Legion where both good soldiers. Legion was a French Foreign Legion member and Salama was Finland's Valkokaarti's* soldier. (In Finland's Civil war were two sides "Valkoiset and Punaiset"- Red and White sides. The Reds were Communists and the Whites were Finland's side which wanted to be free without Russian occupation. The White side won the war and Finland was free. At that time Valkokaarti, Finland's side that covered Finland, was created.)

"What do you want?" Scope snapped at Lightning who only showed his cold dark side. Before Salama arrived in Alaska he was defending Finland from the Communists that were still hanging in Finland. A year ago he was still in Finland but then his owner joined a travel towards Alaska where his friend was living. But somehow one S.S.W.D plane shot down the plane where he was and the plane crashed. He was the only survivor and he started to look for shelter, and in that way he ended up in the M.S.D.F* army- in order to stay alive. When he joined it, he started to move forwards in the ranks and became a Corporal and good friends with Sgt Jetz. Now this 4 years old veteran still continues fighting his enemy S.S.W.D**(*Military Special Dog Force)(**SchutzStaffeln Wolfe Destruction)

"What did your forces do on that cursed island?" Lightning asked and looked around himself.

"Well we slaughtered those wolves! Man it was a nice battle, wolves didn't have any chance to beat us!" Scope shouted and was really proud of himself.

Jetz and a few others didn't like killing, but they had to do so because they didn't want to get killed.

Speedy walked away from Scope. He really didn't want to hear those horrible things. Speedy's road in the army wasn't not such a surprise. His family was killed in an air attack in the summer of 1925. From then on he had joined the army because he didn't have any other thing to choose from. So he stood with the others on the line against the SS.

He sat down and looked at the sky which was partly see through the trees, and then he sighed.

Suddenly Scope shouted something. "Hey! There is Aleksi!" The other dogs looked up and saw a black and white husky climbing towards the place where Major Barker was.

"What the heck does that Ryssä koira want!" Lightning shouted while he rose on all his fours. Lightning didn't like Russians because he had fought against them.

"Calm down Salama, he isn't a Soviet dog," Little Brother mumbled and walked up next to him. "Has a Red Soviet Dog bit your butt?"

Lightning looked at Little brother who was bigger than him, "Yeah I try to but that angriness which has grown inside me is too strong. Ryssät Killed MY Family when I was a young PUP they killed them one by one in front of me! First my father, then my mother, and lastly they started to KILL my brothers and sisters with neck shots! We couldn't fight them; we were only young pups....." Salama said and laid down, a few tears running down his cheek. "They didn't kill all of them, they only injured them badly and left them there to die. I was the only one who made it out from the house alive. I hid behind a small barrel and stayed there till they left. When it became quiet I walked out and saw that none of them were alive anymore. I walked out and... And finally one really nice man took me with him and put me in army training. Now I'm here..." He didn't say anything else; just lay there and cried, but every one of the dogs knew that it wasn’t so easy to get over that sort of thing.

Scope snapped something, but everyone knew that he had also lost his family. He had been only a young pup when he had somehow got separated from his family. And when he had stolen a piece of bread from the dog trainer he got busted and his life in the army started.

Everyone wanted to tease him because that was his life's first and the last busted thing that happened to him. After that he had even stolen a bone from the General’s dog in that base; he still had it in his bag.

"Now hold on every one! I just don't want to talk about families right now OK? I just met one soldier who had a really nice life but that poor dog started to be a traitor and...." "What kind of dog is he?" Little Brother interrupted Scope who shook his head. "Little Brother! If you keep interrupting me I will kill you got that you big pig?" Scope snapped at Little Brother who went quiet.

"Now like I was saying, he was a desperate dog who always needed help like our Speedy," Scope said and looked at Speedy who was a bit embarrassed. "Well not to say that he was LIKE Speedy. He was an even more desperate dog than Speedy. Anyway he started to be a traitor with two wolf dogs which had escaped from the island which we attacked," Scope explained but noticed that no one was really interested.

"Aah Knock it out Scope!" one female soldier said. She was a golden black and white husky who had brown area around her left whole eye. Her name was Janice.

"Janice why are you so angry...." Suddenly a very strong voice interrupted Scope and they all looked towards the sound’s source.

"Everyone take your stuff we are going to get three dogs who need to get a judgment!" It was Barker who shouted those words.

"Ouh now it is time to play soldiers right Little Brother?" Scope sneered and looked at his friend who pulled out his steal wire.

"Yeah now it's time for killing!" Little brother shouted and made an evil grin.

"Yeah, now we are going to get an Iron Cross or a Wood Cross," Legion snapped while he raised himself on all his fours.

No one didn't say anything against those words; everyone was excited because action was coming up.

Jetz ran towards the others, a few other dogs behind him. "Who are these guys?" Lightning asked while he looked at these soldiers.

"Our recruits, from Aleksi," Jetz answered and looked at the other soldiers who were ready to go.

"Ahh Lucy! Did you miss me?" Scope joked when he saw that one of those soldiers was Lucy, a gray-white colored Cpl Husky.

"Shut up Scope" Lucy snapped and passed Little Brother who looked after her.

"Nice catch Scope," he suddenly said and followed the others who started to move.

Scope mumbled something strange but followed the others.


Later.....

S.C.D.F* Soldiers were on their way to get those "Wanted Dogs" and they had just passed a small area when suddenly they heard engine voices.(*Special Commando Dog Force)

"Get down!" Barker commanded and jumped down while everyone did the same.

"Hmm… What the heck is that?" Little brother asked Jetz who was looking over the brush.

"That’s a normal "Water Tank" but a different model, their own ugly tower model," Jetz snapped coldly and lay down.

Speedy looked over the brush and saw a British Water Tank that was bigger than the real model; it also had a tower where a Madsen 20mm Anti-Tank Machine Gun, which was Denmark’s weapon, was positioned.

"Devil thing those tanks! Those new ones especially! They are even a bit faster than the original ones and bigger than armor planting," Cooper snapped. When he was young had ran away from home because he wanted to have a small adventure, and unfortunately he joined the M.S.D.F and faced hell. He is an ATD* soldier and knows about tanks and how they can be destroyed. He always had wanted to be a guard dog. (*Anti-Tank Dog.)

The tank rolled forwards and its tracks were throwing ground behind it. The tank commander was outside the tower and was scanning his surroundings.

Suddenly the tank got stuck in a small ditch and started to dig the ground with its tracks.

"This is our chance!" Cooper shouted and was just going to attack the tank but Jetz jumped on top of him.

"Private hold your position!" He whispered to Cooper who calmed down.

A few minutes later the tank succeeded in driving out of the ditch and continued its way, hitting a tree which fell under its weight.

Lighting pulled his favorite weapon out of the bag, feared Molotov Cocktail. "Saatana tuollasella romulla mennään sitten, Saatana!" he shouted and started to run towards the tank before Jetz succeeded in getting him.

"Lightning! Don't be crazy! "Jetz shouted after him but Lightning didn't care!

"Where is he going? To get fire on the cloth?" Exclaimed one female husky who almost looked like Janice but she had a brown area around her right eye and also had golden-white fur. Her name was Sniper.

"Who knows, but he is Valkokaari's soldier so I bet that I know what he is going to do," Jetz answered quietly and watched Lightning who ran next to the tank.

"Perkele!" Lightning shouted and jumped on the deck and saw that the tank commander had pulled his head out from the tower shutter.

"Now you are dead," Lightning mumbled and put his Molotov back into its bag, and started moving quietly towards the tank commander. He could hear what the commander was mumbling- some sort of song- while he pulled out the steel wire.

The tank commander didn't look back; in a moment Lightning was just behind him- with a fast move he put the steel wire over the commander’s head and started to strangle him. The tank commander made some strange sounds; and soon he was dead, leaning against the tower’s shutter's side.

Lightning jumped out from the tank’s engine’s deck and lit the Molotov’s cloth from the exhaust pipe, which was giving off some sparks from hitting itself. Then he jumped back onto the engine’s deck and walked peacefully towards the commander’s body mumbling some sort of song.

Suddenly one of the tank’s crew members raised his head from the shutter: "Scheisse! Achtung Schweinhund!"
He shouted while he pulled his serving revolver out and shot at Lightning who succeeded to take cover. Lightning threw his Molotov towards the soldier, who slapped it so that it dropped down and broke.

"Hahah, du Schwein!" The soldier laughed but suddenly he saw that Lightning was running towards him with a Schatchel Charge in his mouth. "Kuole perkeleen poika!" Lightning shouted and dropped his armed Schatchel charge inside the tank through shutter that was open. First he slapped the crew member so that he made enough space for the Schatchel charge to enter the tank.

"ARGH NEIN!" The soldier shouted and started to climb out of the tank. Lightning was already running back towards his team when the tank exploded suddenly! The pressure wave threw Lightning into the bushes near his teammates- the tank had cut in two and had flown towards the sky and dropped back down onto the ground.

At first, everyone was in shock about the fact if Lightning was still alive; but when then they heard Finnish cursing coming from the bushes everyone started to laughing.

"Lightning's name is perfect for him! He flew like Lightning," Scope joked while he looked at Lucy who smiled at him. "Well I don't know so much about that," she said and walked to Lightning, who was on his fours now, to help him.

"Damn Idiot! Did you try to kill your self?!" Jetz scolded but inside he was happy.

"Well near it Jetz I tried to show that Finland’s dogs can do that," Lightning said and smiled to Jetz who shook his head several times.

"Well I bet that YOU Legion have been killing Arabians while you were in the holiday club in the desert?" Lightning asked and smiled at the soldier who he had known one year.

"Yes and that wasn't like a holiday," Legion snapped and turned his back to him.

"I know...Finland has the same bloodshed as the Foreign Legion," Lightning mumbled and followed his friend.








Chapter: Two
Location: Near Nome
Time:4:43 pm 18.6 1928
Mission: Quiet Storm

"Why we have to always get this sort of missions?! I hate killing my friends..."-Lucy before Commando strike on Nome...



Jetz was watching Aleu and her father Balto walk towards the town,

"So that is our target," he said, sounding a bit disappointed.

Then he looked at Scope who was standing behind him and next to Scope was Speedy.

"Target spotted go and report to Barker that!" He shouted to Scope who lazily raised himself on all his fours and smiled to him, "Yes Sir!" he said and ran towards the forest.

Jetz watched after him and then he looked at Speedy. "You! Let's get going," he said and smiled at him. They started to go towards the forest where Scope had disappeared.

They settled down in the forest and started to think what to do.

Scope started to tell his adventures as a general’s dog, and everyone laughed about that because this was mostly true but of course some parts Scope had added in by himself.

"...And of course that big fat man gave me that bone!... I don't know who he was but he thought that I'm someone special," Scope explained and made descriptive movements with his paw.

"I certainly hope that I will someday be a general’s dog," Cooper dreamed and rolled his eyes.

"Yeah Right! You should be a messenger dog!" Janice shouted and laughed with the others.

Cooper looked at Janice; he seemed a bit insulted. But he smiled because he knew that she was only joking.

Suddenly too famous dogs joined the conversation.

"Heya Guys!" A Sgt said and sat down next to Jetz who gave him a small grin.

This soldier was tan-white husky who had a brown area around his right eye.

"What the heck?! Here are THREE now! Soldiers who have brown fur around his or her eye!" Little brother shouted in a confused way.

"Hey Thompson," Scope said and smiled to him while he played with a steel wire- just for a warning.

Thompson looked at Scope a bit arrogantly and mumbled some curses.

"Turpa tukkoon sika!" Salama shouted to Thompson who growled at him.

"I don't understand Finish you idiot!" He shouted back and growled louder.

"La ferme et degage!" Legion shouted and turned his back to Thompson.

"I can't speak French," Thompson growled and walked away from the others.

Everyone chuckled after the most hated dog what they knew- no one could stand Thompson- that mass murderer and killer who doesn’t know any mercy, but his style is good in the army and that’s why he is a Sgt in ranking.

Barker was in a lazy mood. He was lying down and looking at something, when someone walked up next to him he started to look at the map and mumble something.

"I hate that dog," Sniper mumbled to herself but didn't notice that someone heard it.

"You are right Snipe everyone hates him," one Pvt said to her and cursed in her mind.

She was Katchi, nicknamed "Kat". She was a German Shepherd; her fur that of normal shepherd’s, but she had a white blotch which looks star-like on the back of her ear.
Her past is unknown but she is still a good soldier and she is a Medic because she likes to do heroic things.

"What do you mean?" Sniper asked Kat a bit confused, and looked at Kat, who gave her a small smile.

"Ahh forget," she snapped and walked towards the others.

Soldiers started to sleep because they had to work at night and they needed the energy for it. Also the soldiers had only a few hours time to sleep.

"This army would be nicer if I could sleep! Then I could be in this hell more than the rest of my life!" Scope shouted and moved onto his side and made loud "bang" voice from his behind to make a point. "I Fart to the army!"

Barker was hysterical because Scope was insulting M.S.D.F's army.

But Jetz only sneered at him, "Aww don't worry Barker, he is just tired."

Barker mumbled something that Jetz didn't understand.

Suddenly Scope started to talk with Cooper. Legion and Little Brother soon joined and a few others did too.

"So? Has everyone heard what happened to Josh?" Scope started and spat onto the ground.

"No one has told me about it," Little Brother said while he licked his lips.

"OK this happened to him: well he was a nice sled dog in a town called White Mountain, well anyway he was even a leader! Man that pig didn’t even deserve that sort of a rank- he was bully and a complete idiot.
Well he had won a really big race and was famous!" Scope said and laughed a while before continuing. "Well my Ex-Cpt "Rata*" didn't like him and asked if I’d come with him? “Where to?” I asked him but he only sneered at me. Anyway some day Josh disappeared from the town, where did he disappear to? HAHA "Rata" took him into my Team! Well his mate was upset about him but she will get a heart attack if she will hear that Josh lay his fat butt on an AT-mine**!" Scope and the others started to laugh and they laughed for many minutes. (*Rata is Spanish and means Rat **Anti-Tank Mine)

"Knock it off Scope! Team start to sleep!" Jetz shouted from behind a bush where he had settled down.

"Idiot! He will never be a real Soldier!" Scope snapped back and rested his head on his paws.

This time everyone settled down and started to sleep.

But then Scope and a few others where nudged awake.

"What the hell!?" Scope shouted but he was ordered to follow Thompson.

The soldiers walked towards the end of the forest where Nome was.

Then Lucy who was also with them realized what was going on when she saw one familiar dog.

"Why do we always have to get these sorts of Missions? I hate killing my friends..." she said and sniffed.

"Don't come with us then," Thompson snapped and started to run towards the old ship.

Scope followed and looked at Little Brother who smiled at him, "Now we have to hunt traitors," Scope said sarcastically and looked at Thompson who was already on the boat.

They jumped quietly onto the deck and saw two dogs nuzzling each other.

Suddenly Thompson slapped the soldier who was the second dog and Cooper slapped the female dog.

"What the ..." Soldier shouted while Scope slapped him.

The soldier rolled onto his back and saw Cooper who slapped him when he was going to rise on his fours.

"Traitor!" Cooper shouted and slapped his face.

The female dog shouted while a few dogs attacked her.

"NO!" The soldier shouted and jumped on the dog who was just going to sink his fangs into her throat and pushed him away.

Cooper jumped onto his back and pinned him down while he bit his neck.

Thompson jumped onto the female dog that wasn't quite pure dog- she was half wolf- he bit her neck and twisted his head forward so that it would break her neck.

"NO!" The soldier shouted and tried to get out from Coopers grip but he didn't succeed in doing that.

"Judgments reason deserter and traitor, judgment is death!" Thompson shouted after he had killed the female wolf/dog.

Cooper tore the Pvt's throat open and the soldiers disappeared back towards the forest.

Cooper wrote something next to that soldier and followed the others after that.

"Haha that was easy!" Scope shouted, "back in Action!"

A few hours later Jetz disappeared towards the boat no dogs there anymore…


Moving towards the town!


In the night Jetz lead 14 dogs from Barker's team and started to move towards the town.

Of course there were also a few officers which where higher ranked than Jetz, but Barker wanted Jetz to lead because he was a more experienced dog than his officers.

The dogs split up when they had arrived at the town, moving in different directions.

Scope and a few others followed Lucy, Speedy, and Legion, who followed Jetz and so on.

Speedy moved away in a different direction from Jetz and ended up in a small valley, where he saw two dogs that were walking towards him.

"Damn!" Speedy shouted and took cover behind a barrel and saw that the two dogs stopped right next to him.

Speedy held his breath. He was in panic but still succeeded to hold himself still.

He looked at those dogs and noticed that they both were females but one was a German Shepherd and she was laughing.

"That’s not fun Daicy…," the other dog who was husky said to the German Shepherd, who was now rolling on ground.

Suddenly someone grabbed Speedy and pulled him.

Speedy looked towards the dog who had pulled him; it was Legion.

"Kamerad never adventure alone, understand?" Legion said quietly and started to move in the opposite direction.

Speedy looked after him and soon followed.

Meanwhile Scope had found another interest- he saw a Tobacco Shop on the street.

"Hey Little Brother check this out," Scope shouted to Little Brother who stopped and walked up next to him.

"Yeah, a Tobacco Shop. What we will do in there?" he asked bit curiously and spat at the ground.

"HEY you two you can't go in there!" Lucy shouted and walked up next to Scope who only sneered at her.

"Why can't we? Little Brother open the door please," Scope said and watched as Little Brother broke the doggy door which was in the shop’s door.

"Why does that shop owner need a doggy door?" Lucy asked bit confused and followed Scope into the shop.

In the shop was a nice red huge carpet and everything was beautiful.

"Well at least the owner has money," Scope noticed and grabbed a cigar from a box.

"Uuh Scope put that cigar back where you took it," Lucy said bit embarrassed when she saw it in Scope's mouth.

"Hey relax Lucy," Scope said while he spat cigar away and walked in front of her and smiled.

"Ok let's continue this mission right? You are the leader," Scope said sweetly and passed her.

Meanwhile they ended up in front of the Post Office.

"Heya let's go and see some 'Love Letters'," Scope suggested, walking towards the Post Office where a light was still on.

When he reached the door he moved to the left side of it.

Suddenly the door opened fast, almost crushing Scope against the wall.

The man who did it walked outside, and before closing the door, he walked back inside mumbling something.

Scope growled something and ran inside the Post Office and hid behind a plant.

The man walked out from the Post Office and closed the door.

"Why doesn't he open it?" Lucy asked Little Brother who was looking back.

"Damn I don't know," he snapped but soon the door opened and Scope walked out.

"Hello and welcome to the party!" He shouted and smiled when Lucy walked in; Little Brother followed her.

Scope growled after the man who had been gone for a long time.

"Hey Scope what’s wrong with your muzzle?" Lucy asked and giggled a bit when she saw Scope's muzzle that was bleeding a bit.

"That man banged the door at my muzzle, luckily it didn't brake, otherwise I would look like a bulldog," Scope snapped and growled a while.

"Aww you poor doggy!" Lucy said and walked towards the letters where Little Brother was already.

"HEY! Check out what I found!" He shouted and tore a small parcel open.

"Ahh a cake!" Scope shouted and walked to them to see it.

"Get your paws off Scope this is my territory right now!" Little Brother snapped and covered the cake from Scope’s vision.

"OK then that is yours but remember that you still own me some meat!" Scope snapped and smiled cleverly at Little Brother who growled and gave his cake to Scope.

"Now let's eat!" Scope shouted and Lucy's team, which consisted only of 3 dogs started eating the cake.

Suddenly Little Brother took one letter out which contained two SS letters.

"Heya let's see what SS boys are sending here!" He shouted like a new-born baby.

Scope walked over to check what sort of things he had found. Then he saw the SS letters, "Ouh my god! SS letters!" he shouted and moved back a few steps.

"Well shall we put this place on flames?" Little Brother asked Lucy and made a puppy face.

Lucy tried to avoid these kinds of looks but she only gave a small smile.

"I guess we have to do it," she said and sighed. Scope smiled at her and nudged her. "Hey you will help," he said cleverly and showed a bag.

Somewhere Cooper was in action; he ran through the streets- in his mouth was a steel wire, which had some blood on it.

He ran in front of Jetz and sat down and saluted.

"What has happened Cooper?" Jetz asked a bit worried because he saw the steel wire.

"I killed someone…," Cooper said worriedly and sighed.

"He saw me so I didn't have any other option."

"You IDIOT! This mission has now failed because of you! Well at least we know where Aleu is! Damn you!"
Jetz growled and they all started to move back onto the black streets.

The soldiers started moving towards the forest but Jetz left one soldier to check on Aleu and he didn't have any clue where Lucy's team was.

Meanwhile in the Post Office Scope was playing with the explosive.

"This "bang" will throw this house into the air and send the letters to God!" he said proudly and smiled to himself.

"I certainly hope that WE aren't going to fly up and meet god and chat with him," Little Brother said and crawled back a few steps.

"Don't worry you will fly straight to hell!" Scope said and started to laugh evilly.

Little Brother and Lucy started to run towards the forest while Scope was making sure that the Schatchel would explode.

Suddenly Scope saw two dogs standing in front of the Post Office. "Poor Dogs, they will fly to hell soon,"
Scope said to himself.

The Office exploded and the pressure wave threw him a few meters back, hitting him against a wall which stunned him.

Scope woke up and shook his head while he sat down. "Wow what kind of explosion!" He thought in his mind.

Then he got shocked- for he saw more than 30 people near the post office.

"Damn! Now I'm in trouble!" he shouted and started to run towards the forest. While he ran he could not to hide his happiness.

"DAMN! What kind of smell that whole house is now toothpicks, hehehe!" Scope shouted because his mind was covered with happiness.

Then he heard a voice behind him but he didn't care he just ran towards the forest where he disappeared.

In the Forest where the others were, everyone was crushed and Barker was mad.

"Now tell me again what happened!" Barker shouted and slapped his helmet so that it almost hit Kat's head.

"Well we were spying on Aleu when suddenly Cooper ran towards us, he had steel wire and he said that he...." Jetz tried to explain but Barker shook his head.

"YOU IDIOTS! YOU RUINED EVERYTHING!" He suddenly shouted as loud as he could.

"You brainless soldiers are my worst nightmare and you can't follow a plan as simple as to get Aleu!"

"There was no plan Barker," one soldier suddenly added in, interrupting him.

Barker growled loudly to the soldier who swallowed something.

"YOU! Shut UP!" Barker shouted to his face and the soldier was quiet the rest of the day.

"NOW whose idea was it to destroy the Post Office?" Barker asked Lucy who also swallowed hard.

"Sir it was mine!" Scope suddenly shouted from the line and stepped out from it.

"It was mine Lucy was against it and I didn't listen to her," Scope lied and smiled at Barker who opened and closed his mouth.

"You pig are telling to me that you have ruined everything? Damn you risked 14 dogs life Scope! And you are only sneering at me?!" Barker shouted and shook his head.

"Who cares about loses?" Suddenly someone snapped from the line.

Barker fixed his look at the group, that was still laughing at the joke.

"Who said that?" Barker suddenly shouted to the others. If he’d think better he would know that Little brother said those words.

"I say again! WHO said those words?" Barker said and had gotten really hysterical.

"Carl Heinz and his army," Little Brother snapped again and giggled a bit.

"If that who said those words will not come out from the line RIGHT now everyone will get into trouble," Barker threatened but nobody cared.

Every dog noticed that Barker was only a weak coward who couldn’t do anything right.

Suddenly something unexpected happened: Barker snapped something and gave up.

"I'm going now to sleep and I hope that everyone will do the same. Got me?" he shouted and walked to his place where a tree stood.

Every dog walked to their places and tried to get come sleep.

Lucy lay down next to Scope who made a look at her.

"Thanks Scope that you protected me," she said and smiled happily to him.

"Naah that wasn't nothing," Scope said and smiled at her and she smiled back.

A few feet away were Legion and Lightning who where still talking to each other.

"Do you think what I think?" Salama asked Legion while they spied at Scope and Lucy.

"I guess so only Allah knows," Legion said and looked at his friend who rested his head on the ground.

"Well I don't know, take a break now," Salama snapped and tilted his helmet over his eyes.

In the morning a few dogs woke up and started to eat breakfast- sled dogs' meat.

Scope was hungry and wanted to have more food; his portion of meat wasn't enough for him and he wanted to have more.

He nudged Little Brother to follow him and smiled cleverly at him.

"Come buddy let's get something good to eat," he said and started to run towards the town, Little brother just behind him.

"Those idiots will get killed someday!" Jetz growled and watched them go.

"You should report that," Cooper said quietly behind Speedy who was confused.

Speedy pushed him away and sighed. "I wish that someday I can get out from the army...," Speedy said sadly and watched the sea that was still dark.

"Aww I hope that soon," Janice suddenly said and walked up next to him.

Speedy was a bit confused and watched Janice who looked at him. "What are you are watching?" she snapped a bit sarcastically and giggled.

She sighed happily and watched the distant horizon. "You know Speedy...I have always wanted to be normal house dog, wanted to have good care and good owners," she suddenly said and looked at Speedy who watched her strangely.

"Ammhh....You know...I have wanted that sort of life too," Speedy somehow succeeded to say but he was a bit embarrassed.

"Aww...I hope that you will have that sort of family," Janice said and sighed again.

"Thanks Janice," Speedy said warmly and smiled but Janice only sneered for answer. "Hey what’s today’s mission?" Janice suddenly asked Thompson who stopped and made a look at Janice.

"Well no one knows that yet," Thompson said and continued his way while he mumbled something.

"Strange dog...," Janice gasped and walked up near Speedy who was still watching the distance.

Scope was again talking about something to do with his experiences. But then he said something that caught everyone’s interest.

"Hey has someone from you guys heard about Sandra?" Scope asked while he looked at Salama who made a small smile at him.

"Who is Sandra?" Jetz asked and watched everyone around him.

"Aah she is Lone Wolf's dog, I haven't seen her in my life but I bet that someone is…," Scope continued and still watched Lightning because he knew something.

"Well Lightning? Can’t you tell us something about her?" Scope said and smiled at him.

Lightning only bit his lip when everyone turned their look on him.

"Ok ok I can tell about it," he started and cleaned his throat. "Well it happened just after I got lost in one patrol... And because of my luck I hit on a small wolf pack that started to fight against me..." Lightning started and cleaned his throat again. "And well… Then she somehow came there and helped me to defeat those wolves but there were too many of them so we fled... Well I got several scars and wounds from that fight and I lost a lot of blood.....She somehow took me to cave that she had found...It was a small one but big enough for us... She tended to my wounds and helped me....I didn't know why and I even asked her why... But she didn't say anything... Well anyways she is a brown-orange-white husky and not one of the ugliest ones of course..." Lightning almost blushed but somehow he succeeded in holding it. "Well somehow...well we talked pretty much about ourselves and stuff...You know... And then she suddenly nuzzled against me and...well we spend whole night in that cave....." Lightning stopped and smiled thinking of his past and then he watched the others.
"What?" he asked confused and shook his head.

"Was she hot?" Little Brother asked and licked his lips.

"I don't want to answer that question," Lightning snapped and looked in the distance while he sighed.

"Do you miss her?" Sniper asked suddenly and bit her lip from embarrassment

Lightning only smiled at her. "Well you know....Before we separated, she gave me a small lick."

Everyone started laughing; even Lightning laughed with them.

When they stopped laughing everything was quiet again, only a small wind was making some sort of sound; and the trees did too when they where moving with it.

"Well somehow mother nature is scary," Legion said and lay down near a small bush what was almost dead.

"OK Everyone go to sleep!" Barker command and rested his head on his paws.



Later..........


The night was cold and dark, not usual in June but still it was horrible. Every soldier growled because they were forced to rise and make an attack on Nome again.

Scope was asleep when an officer came and woke the whole squad except Scope who grinned at him.

"Why do I have to wake? Where do you need me?" Scope growled while he sat on the ground and yawned.

"Who knows," Jetz snapped while he sat on the ground.

No one didn't answer that, soldiers just stood in a line and waited for orders to kill...

"I hate the army some days..." Little Brother said while he watched the distance.

Still no one said a thing. They just waited for Barker who was still sleeping.

"That paper soldier will never be a real soldier," Jetz growled under his lips while he watched into the distance.(*Paper Soldier is nickname for officers who are scared of fighting and always want to be behind in line; almost the same thing as Show Dog)

"I hate the army... And I'm hungry," Scope growled from the left side of the line.

Soldiers started to laugh at that, but then a commanding voice gave a shock to the whole line. "EVERYONE MOVE OUT!" The voice shouted and everyone started to walk again towards the town.

Scope still growled because he was hungry and traded some grenades for some meat; he then started eating it.

Little Brother offered to help him in the eating but Scope only growled at him and hid the rest of the meat in his bag.

"C'mon Scope…" He started but the only words that he heard were: "I give too much of my life’s assurances for this, I don't know how long I will still live! But at least I will die when my stomach is full," Scope said those words proudly and happily.

Little Brother growled quietly but still followed others towards the town.

When the team arrived at the town they split up again. This time Speedy was leaving behind again.

Suddenly he heard something- like something moving- he watched towards the source but didn't see anything. Speedy feel something strange and something in his mind was commanding him "Run! Before you will get caught!"
But Speedy didn't listen to it. Suddenly he heard some voices coming from his side. He looked; something hit him and he fell into dreamland*(*unconscious, Dreamland is a nickname for it, ok I give up I'm too lazy to write it because it is too big but in this story it is also nickname for it)

Speedy woke up at the feel of water that had hit his face. He shook his head and blinked. He looked around the area where he was; he saw only boilers and many growling dogs. Speedy swallowed something and still watched the others. "Where....Where am I?" Speedy asked while he watched them. He noticed that he was locked into a cage.

"Shut up! We will ask the questions!" one red and white husky barked and growled at him. Speedy started to smile.

"What do you want to ask?" Speedy asked and sneered at the red and white husky.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" one dog barked but he wasn't dog-looking all over; he was half wolf. He walked in front of the cage where Speedy was locked up.

"My name is Speedy, Rank Private, my number is 4831," Speedy said and sneered at the wolf dog who shook his head.

"What are you doing here!?" One female husky asked Speedy and walked closer to him.

"My name is Speedy, Rank Private, my number is 4831," Speedy just answered and watched when that dog also shook her head.

One red-creamed husky growled and suddenly slapped the cage door and shouted "NOW TELL WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!" those words hit like a hammer on Speedy but he only smiled.

"Sorry I can only tell my name, rank, and my number," Speedy said dryly and turned his back to the dogs.

He thought to himself about what they will do to him but he didn't care.

"YOU will tell us right now what you are doing HERE!" One of the huskies shouted at Speedy who only sneered at him.

"Well my name is Speedy, Rank Private, and my number is 4831," Speedy replied and still sneered at everyone.

Then the red-white husky slapped the cage so hard that Speedy retreated a few steps.

"Now you will tell us WHY you and your friends can't leave my sister alone!" he shouted and growled at him loudly.

"I won't say anything," Speedy said and growled back and stood ready to attack.

"In your position I wouldn’t threaten anyone," same female husky who asked something from him said those words and she walked next to the red and white one.

"Your friends almost killed me and Kodi! And we are really mad because of that," she continued and growled at Speedy who didn't understand what she meant; he only smiled to her for an answer.

Suddenly the wolf/dog whispered something that Speedy didn't get. "Hey Bolt? I know how we can make him talk," and he started to talk with another dog.

Then suddenly the wolf/dog walked up next to the red/white dog named Kodi and Speedy knew that the wolf/dog was Balto.

"Well I suggest that we will crush those answers from him," Balto said to the others and smiled at Speedy, who smiled back.

"Nice try Balto but you have to kill me first," Speedy said and smiled at him. He knew that they wouldn’t kill him if they want to get information. He enjoyed it when he saw Balto's jaw drop.

"He won't say anything, you are just wasting your time on him, A true soldier won't say anything and he is that sort of soldier," suddenly a voice said behind all the dogs who turned to look. Speedy watched the dog who had said those words. He walked in front of all the dogs and sat down next to Balto.

"How do you know those things, Blitz?" Balto asked him but so called "Blitz" didn't say anything.

"I just know Balto I just know...." Blitz said dryly and looked at Speedy who sneered at him but he didn't say anything. Speedy didn't enjoy his view when he saw that Blitz was somehow a dog other than normal.

But Speedy noticed that everyone believed him- they all gave up when Blitz said those words, walked back to their places, and started talking with each other and forgot Speedy.

"Argh now I got to get out of here!" Speedy said under his lips and looked around him. But didn't see anything useful. Then he noticed that his grenades were stolen.

"Hey.." one female husky suddenly said and walked up next to him. Speedy was surprised that someone would talk to him. "What?" he succeeded in asking but didn't do anything else.

"Nothing," she said and turned her head while Speedy started to giggle a bit. He didn't know why she wanted to talk with him but he didn't care.

"Hey you guys I'm going home now," the female dog who was standing next to Kodi said and walked towards the door. Speedy mumbled something under his lips while he watched.

Kodi walked up next to her and they started to talk about something. Speedy watched with great interest- he knew that the others knew what he was missing and already saw him. He turned his look on the window that was pretty high above the ground. Suddenly Jetz’s head appeared in it; Jetz nodded at Speedy. Speedy nodded back and looked at Kodi then, Jetz looked at him also and saw when the female dog walked towards the door. Jetz made a small smile, his helmet that was covered with camo cloth was hanging lazily on his head, and soon it disappeared.


"Good Luck," Speedy said quietly to himself and closed his eyes. He didn't have anything else to do. When he saw that Kodi was watching him, he growled at him loudly.

Few minutes later suddenly a dog rushed into the boiler room panting heavily. He was really scared and hit the ground- every dog turned towards him.

"Hey what have happened to you? Did you see a ghost?" One of the dogs named Fang asked and giggled a bit.

"No! Even worse! I heard that those strange dogs have dog-napped Dusty!" The dog said fast and lay down in the middle of the boiler room and started to cry because he was too scared.

"FANG!?" His sister named Thunder shouted. She was sitting next to Dina who was talking with Speedy.

"What is going on?" Dina asked Speedy who only shook his head. "I don't know, honestly," Speedy sighed and watched Dina.

"What?" Fang snapped and looked at his sister who rose on her fours.

"Why are you so arrogant, Fang?" Thunder asked, in her voice was some anger towards him.

"Are you commanding me? Thunder?" Fang asked and looked at his sister a bit arrogantly.

"Forget your fight you two! Dusty has been dog-napped and you two just keep fighting!" Kodi shouted to stop their fight.

"What happened?" Kodi asked the dog who had calmed down a little.

"I don't know… You got to believe me I don't know they just told me," the dog explained and sat down.
A quiet moment ruled the boiler room and no one made any noise.

"Fine! What those dogs want to have?" One husky by the name of Kirby asked Kodi.

"Hey if you haven't forgotten that we got one of them in here! They want him back I guess," Balto shouted to everyone while he rose on all his fours.

"And they will," Speedy snapped from the corner. "But not at all cost," he said and looked at Aleu who was this time quiet. He knew that Aleu was the team’s target, casualties aren’t so important.

"What do you mean, Speedy? On that "All cost"?" Dina asked him.

"Well nothing," Speedy answered because he already had said too much.

"Ouh dear," one husky names Jenna said to Balto who looked at Aleu- the target who had to be captured at all cost.

"They want to have Aleu.... They don't care if they will have losses," Balto said and looked at Kodi, "What does that mean?" One husky named Kirby asked his friend who was named Ralph. Ralph looked back at him but they didn't know that Blitz had heard that also.

"You Dummkopf! You don't know that they don't care if they will loose a few lives. They want to have Aleu and they don't care about the losses," Blitz snapped at Ralph and Kirby who both looked up confused.

"Now what?" One female husky that Speedy had heard called by the name of Rusty asked Blitz a bit loudly.

"Who knows, I don't know anything right now," Aleu said sadly while she lay down and gave a sniff.

The dog who had told what had happened mumbled something to himself and rose on all his fours.
"If we don't want to lose Dusty I will suggest that we will let Speedy go," the dog said and looked around.

"And what if we don't let him go?" One husky by the name of Bolt asked Speedy.

"That dog what you are calling Dusty will come back... But in two pieces," Speedy said but not sarcastically or arrogantly; he was a bit worried. He really was worried, if they won't let him go they really will kill that dog.

Everyone looked at Speedy and a few talked about it.

"No, we can't let him go," Balto said coldly and looked at Kodi.
"If they want him back they have to send Dusty first, if they don’t do that we wont send him," Balto continued and still looked at Kodi- his jaws had dropped open.
"What the heck!" Speedy thought in his head and watched the others.

"Are… Are we... Going to leave Dusty?" Kodi asked really scared and looked at his father.

Balto looked at Kodi but shook his head. "We are not going to leave anybody," he said to calm everyone down.

"Tshah! They won't listen to your suggestions, they don't care about my life so much," Speedy snapped from the corner and lay down while everyone turned their looks on him.

Kodi sighed sadly and lay down. "I hope that Dusty will be alright," he said to himself and closed his eyes.

Speedy looked towards the high window. Suddenly he saw Scope's head that rose and looked at him. Scope smiled and waved with his paw. Then he threw a grenade in through the window- it landed next to Kodi. First Speedy thought that they were going to kill them all, but then he realized that the grenade was bigger than usually.

The grenade let out a small "puhww" voice and started to let out smoke around the area.

"What's that?" Ralph asked while everyone started coughing because the smoke had gotten really dense.

"What the Hell is this?" Fang snapped and jumped down, the whole boiler room was in smoke and a few dogs tried running away, but suddenly Aleu heard a voice from the door.

"Speedy still here?" The voice shouted from the doorway. "I'm here Jetz get me out of here!" Speedy shouted and barked because of his happiness.

Aleu didn't know what to do- she jumped up and somehow she hit Jetz, who in return threw her against the wall because he didn't know who had been the attacker.

The dog who had told what had happened attacked one soldier who started to fight with him. The soldier hit the top of him but before she succeeded in doing anything Kodi hit her.

She yelped while she hit against the wall but soon she was back on her feet and sunk her sharp fangs into Kodi's chest, but the aim was on the throat- smoke saved Kodi's life but he didn't notice that.

That female soldier was Sniper, usually she was a perfect biter but this time she missed her target.

Sniper let lose and ran towards the doorway but Bolt hit her and sank his fangs into her hind leg.
Balto heard some voices from the cage and ran towards it and saw that Speedy was now free.

"Thanks you guys now let's get the hell out of here!" Speedy shouted and started to run towards the doorway, the others behind him.

"Team! Fall back! Fall back!" Jetz shouted and ran towards the door.

When every soldier had gotten out a man who was coming from a walkway saw them. "Ouh my god! That’s the answer to the Post office!" He shouted and took a rifle and started aiming at the running soldiers. The man aimed one soldier and shot- the soldier yelled and walked a few steps before hitting the ground.

"Joney!" Sniper shouted and stopped for a while but Jetz pushed her, "Move Sniper he's dead!" he shouted and kept running.

The second shot hit one soldier’s helmet and huge "Clong" voice was heard and the soldier fell onto the ground. His name had been Gresser.

"Gresser Tipahti!" Salama shouted and still kept running.

The hunter shot again and this time Speedy felt a huge pain in his side when the bullet ripped it. Speedy shouted out in pain but no one heard it.

"Someone take that hunter out!" Jetz shouted and saw when someone hit onto the hunter, it was Thompson who had been hiding and somehow succeeded to get close enough to the hunter.
He was atop the hunter in a flash and trying to bite his throat but the hunter kicked him on the stomach as hard as he could and Thompson hit the ground trying to take in a breath.

Hunter just slapped him with the rifle’s butt and Thompson hit the ground unconscious.
"Damn dog," the hunter cursed and saw that all soldiers were gone.

Speedy left behind,” I need some help up here!" he shouted after his friends. "Please! Don't LEAVE ME!" he continued shouting but no one even looked back. Speedy tried to hold his tears but he couldn’t.

After few minutes Speedy started to limp towards the boiler room, he didn't know where else to go. He growled when he arrived there.

"What have happened to you?" Fang snapped and sneered at Speedy who was having some problems in standing still.

"Well... None of your business," Speedy said and lay down heavily in the middle of the boiler room. He whined and breathed hard.

"Are you alright?" Thunder asked and walked near Speedy who was whining a bit.

"No... That hunter hit me... I was left behind... No one noticed that, argh...." Speedy said weakly and closed his eyes. He was a bit surprised that someone would even talk to him.
"It's only a small cut.. Bullet didn't sink into my body it just scratched a bit," Speedy continued in a weak voice and tried standing, his right side was a bit bloody.


"We have to get him to the vet," Kirby said while he looked at Speedy who was trying to stand.
"Yeah that vet will kill me.... Forget vets they can't help us they will always kill all soldiers......" Speedy said and fell unconscious.

Speedy woke up for a while and saw Dina who was standing near him. "I really need some medical help right now...." Speedy said quietly but then he felt when Dina touching his cut. "Hey what are...." Speedy tried to ask but Dina still looked at the wound that was looking pretty bad.

"We have to get you to the vet," Dina said and in her voice was a small worried tone.

Speedy looked a bit confused when the cage's door was opened and a female husky was talking to him.
"You don't have to… Get me to the vet... I know some easy medical tactics," Speedy said and in his voice was some new hope. "Like what kind of tactics you know?" Dina snapped and looked at Speedy who started digging in his bag and pulled out a huge piece of cloth.

"Push this against my cut it will help... But if it will still bleed then you can get me to the vet... not to get back in action... just that he will put me down," Speedy said and giggled a bit but when Dina pushed the cloth against his cut he whined a bit. He was surprised because no one didn't care that she was taking care of him. Speedy knows that if the cut would keep bleeding he really would have to get to the vet other wise he would bleed to death.

Then everyone heard a howl, that howl was not a normal howl, it was first high and then it lowered in pitch a bit- repeating itself over and over again.

"Wow that’s a beautiful howl," Aleu said and looked out from the window, "but who is howling? That isn't a wolf's howl," Aleu continued but no one said anything.
"It is really beautiful," Dina said and dreamed a bit, but was woken on Speedy's whine.

Speedy growled, he knew that the howl is a code howl that only military soldiers could understand: "Sorry Speedy we don't have any other option, we are coming to get you out of there SGT. Jetz over and out! "Speedy felt already what was going to happen- that which soldiers usually will never do- a straight attack.

Speedy whined, his wound had stopped bleeding and he was feeling at least a bit better. He sighed and tried looking calm but he was really worried because of Jetz’s "Howl Message" and didn't want to even think what will happen when they will come. "I hope that they don't kill everyone...." Speedy thought in his head again.

He looked at Dina who helped him then he looked around the boiler room.

"What we are still doing in here?" Rusty asked her sister who was checking Speedy who noticed that she didn't like him so much.

"I at least make sure that Speedy won't bleed to death," Dina snapped and looked at her sister arrogantly. Rusty turned her look on Bolt and nuzzled him.

Speedy wanted to move and thought in his mind that he could sit down for a while.
"Well… Argh this is my first time when I get shot," Speedy mumbled and tried to sit up. He wasn’t lying this really was his first gun shot wound. When the others would see it they will respect him a bit more. The soldier who has had a gun shot wound is somehow "better soldier" because he/she has a scar from the gun shot and is still alive; another stupid idea that is figured out middle of SE* dogs (*if you didn't know Speedy serve in Silver Eagle squadron Check M.S.D.F Operation: Silver Wind part 3/3)

Dina ignored Speedy and walked towards the door when suddenly it was kicked open. The whole SE team was standing in the door- they walked in. Scope came first- his helmet hanging in his bag, then Janice came in and others led by Jetz and Salama.

"What the..?" one dog who was near the door started but a hard slap from Janice stopped it and dog hit onto the ground.

"Shut up you...." She didn't say anything else rest was only growling.
"Nice slap Janice!" Speedy shouted while he rose on his fours.
She turned her look on him but only nodded her head and let a small smile.

Barker walked in and looked at Balto who walked in front of Aleu. "If you want to have her you have to fight for her!" Kodi barked and walked up next to Balto.

"Let’s just stop this bloodshed.... We need our soldiers against the SS not against you," Barker said calmly and nodded to the soldiers and two of them who were carrying a red cross on their sides ran and took Speedy out from the cage. One of them was Katchi second was someone else whose name is Trase. He is a brown-and-white Greenland dog who isn't so bad soldier only "Quiet Saver".

"Here is someone who you have missed," Lightning said and released Dusty who ran to the other dogs.

Kat and Trase helped Speedy to walk and asked few questions "What’s your feeling?" Kat asked and checked Speedy's wound. "Nothing special right now," Speedy joked and smiled at her- she didn't smile back.

"I hope that you have your grenades you Dummkopf," Trase said, he joked liked always.

"Thanks that you have kept Speedy alive, without your help he would be dead right now," Barker said to Balto, then he took serious style. "But now this game is over, we don't have enough time to chase your daughter, Balto! She is a wolf pack leader and she lost her pack! And you are now coming with us!" Barker said seriously and looked straight into Balto’s eyes. Speedy heard those words, this meant a quick end for this mission which had failed already. Now Barker was saving everything that was still left.

On the way the soldiers chatted with each other again. "You know Speedy you are a kind of lucky dog! Damn you are SO lucky!" Scope said to Speedy who was walking next to Trase who was supporting him.

"Well Scope I'm not so sure..." Speedy said quietly and tried to look brave but every step made his wound burn that still looked fine. "What are you telling to me?! You can't say that you didn't sleep better or get food better than we? Aren't you?" Scope said with bad English, sometimes he loved using it no one didn't get why but he used it, same did Legion, Little brother and Lightning.

Cooper was only watching. He was guarding Aleu and Balto while they walked. He didn't like being babysitter for two half wolves, more he would have liked to chat with other soldiers. Cooper shook his head a few seconds and started to think about something.


"Aww I suggest that we will change Cooper from his watch turn," Sniper said while she joined the chat group.

"Well I suppose... Alright COOPER! Come over here you will be changed with another private!" Jetz shouted. Jetz who is a purebred soldier had always thought about his teammates, his past isn't so horrible like the others’. He has faced the army when his owners didn't have enough money to keep a house and a dog so they sent him to the army. That family’s head- the father- had always been drinking his money away. He isn't alive anymore. He had slapped his wife and kids. If he hadn't been slapping his family or been a drunkard he would have still been alive. He isn't anymore- Jetz killed him when he saw him alone. He got his revenge and he felt better now and same about his old owners too he never talked about that thing. The war against S.S.W.D had taken his life away from him. He is now a killing machine like the others in the army; they have to kill or be killed and the last option isn’t the favored one. This "war" against S.S.W.D isn't a real war like WWI, this fight is called a war but actually it is only a law vs. criminals, but for soldiers it still counts as a war...

"Alright!" Cooper shouted and rushed up to the chat group and started to talk with the others like everyone else did.

Later in the night... It was a quiet and beautiful night once again. The sun was low and there was no wind.

"TEAM HALT!" Suddenly a voice commanded and all dogs broke their formation and split up on flanks.
The alley where the soldiers stopped was a pretty quiet one. It was like an old huge ditch- on its sides were too hills and atop of them were trees.

"Again this sort of mission!" Scope growled and ran to the side and lay down next to a bush. He didn't choose to do that his reflexes made him. Every dog that had faced the army will do whatever they have been ordered to do.

"What now?" Cooper said and sneered at Speedy who was having a bit hard time with his wound.

"Who knows…" Speedy said and whined a bit. Janice gave to him a small look, "Are you alright Speedy? You don't look so good," she said while she walked next to him. "I guess that I am..." Speedy said and felt when Janice checked his wound. She wasn’t a medic in her real life, she became a soldier like others.

"Aww it doesn’t look so bad… I guess you will stay alive for a while," she said and giggled. No one knew why she was in the army but Speedy and the others knew that she never wanted to be a soldier. She had always wanted to be in a sled team. Even that she looks beautiful- that doesn't mean that she isn't as crazy as the other soldiers. Every dog will loose their mind under machinegun fire except soldiers. They can stand that, no one else can that good.

"Janice...?" Speedy asked suddenly, he wanted to know why Janice was in the army.

"Yes?" she asked and gave him a small look.

"Why are you in the army..? Not just like I only want to know…" Speedy said. He tried not to annoy or hurt her.

"No Speedy... I can't tell that... I don't want to talk about it," with those words she ran away.

"I know your feelings... I just know," Speedy said to himself and lay down. Suddenly all soldiers where ordered to come back to their places and settle down.

A few moments later two soldiers both shouted in different styles: "Alert! ALERT! Aleu and Balto have escaped!" Soon every soldier jumped up on their fours and started checking around.

"What the heck is bothering my dreams!" Scope shouted angrily and got up while he yawned. "I don't like surprises!" He continued and shook his fur.

"Get moving! We have wolves to get!" One officer shouted and ran towards the others who were running towards the forest.


"Aww damn..." Little brother growled and started to run like the others following the running soldiers.

"C'mon everyone! Move out! Let's get those half breeds!" One of the officers encouraged the soldiers that were running like devils.

After 20 minutes of the "cat and mouse" game Balto and Aleu were caught by Aleksi's team. Scope and the others panted when they saw that Barker was in trouble with Aleksi who was blaming him.

"W-what do you mean?" Barker asked Aleksi who smiled evilly at him. "I know that you are lying to me. But I won't swallow that, I have heard your reports, and I wasn't very pleased," Aleksi snapped and walked towards him, and stopped close to him. "I was hoping that you are better leader Barker, you have disappointed me and for the whole M.S.D.F army AND especially to the USA!" Aleksi said and looked at two of his team members who nodded their heads in agreement. Barker retreated a few steps and sat down.
"This will be over until we get back to the island, then we will hear Derag's decision."

Scope especially nodded he hated Barker really much. He had wanted to strangle him many times but Jetz had always stopped him before he would have attacked.

Aleksi snapped and joined the SE team. Cooper walked next to Aleu who didn't want to move; after a few slaps she started moving.

"Your team members are too violent," Aleu whined to Aleksi who looked over his shoulder.

"You should see them in action then you will say if they are violent," Aleksi said sarcastically but yet seriously.

Aleu tried to saying something but she realized that it's better to be quiet.

"Stop whining!" Scope mumbled at Aleu while he passed her. She growled after him.

A few hours later even the sun had started shining.

Dog team was near the area where they spotted two SS trucks. "Team we spotted two SS trucks, who
knows if they spotted us," Aleksi warned everyone to be careful.

"SS trucks?" Scope asked Legion who only shook his head.

At a huge hill something strange was going on. A pair of binoculars shone in the sunlight.

One officer was looking at those dogs and mumbled something to his team members who were pulling blankets out from the truck’s stage. Two German 25 cm schwere Minewerfers* were showing in the daylight. (Heavy Mine-Thrower More information form http://www.frontline18.com/history/253/)

The officer smiled when he saw the dog team, he aimed at them and said the commands:
"Distanz dreihundert Meter, Einrichtung sieben... FEUER!"

Soon two huge explosions were heard from the hill where the SS was. Two heavy mines went into the air.

"What the heck was that?" Barker asked Aleksi who looked at the sky. Suddenly he saw two objects that were coming down towards them.

"MINE-THROWERS!" Aleksi shouted and soon the ground shook from when the grenades hit the ground. Dead screams filled the air while a few dogs were ripped to pieces, and many were wounded as more grenades hit down in the middle of them. A huge "Glonck" voice was heard when a grenade piece hit someone's helmet and cut through to the head. More and more grenades hit the ground sending dogs in the air.

"GET DOWN EVERYONE!" Jetz shouted. Those mine-throwers are deadly weapons that can kill under a second.

"We are trying to get the hell out of here!!" One soldier shouted while he took cover. A grenade dropped next to him and he exploded into a thousand pieces- they flew everywhere.

"Merde alors!" Legion shouted and jumped into a grenade ditch. Jetz and Salama did the same but they jumped into a different ditch.

Blood flew in the air and some flesh pieces also and filled the ground. Deep ditches had appeared too.
"ARGHH!" Voices were the usual ones.

"Ausreichen Kameraden," SS officer said to the soldiers who stopped.

It was a quiet moment, Balto didn't hear anything because of those explosions as well as Aleu.
Then they started to hear what was going on, “C’mon this one is badly wounded need help!" and "MEDIC!"

"Ouh damn what sort of bombing!" Scope shouted while he rose from his ditch where he had taken cover.

"Yeah that was bombing! Real action!" Little brother shouted while he rose from the same ditch where Scope has been.

"HAHAHA I beat him," Kat shouted while she walked out from her cover. Behind her was one male soldier who had gotten panic middle of the gun fight.

"Good work Kat!" Legion shouted, as those soldiers knew, panic under grenade fire is most deadly thing what can be happening to a soldier, only cure is to beat him so long that he will come back to his own mind.

"HEY where is Barker?!" Salama shouted when he rose from his ditch where he had taken cover with Jetz.

"I hope that he is dead," Aleksi snapped and giggled a bit. Everyone giggled but so that Aleksi couldn’t see.

"HEY LOOK UP!" Salama shouted and pointed upwards.
There was a lonely huge branch where someone's bleeding body hung.

"Hehe, poor Officer," Aleksi snapped and laughed at what he saw.
Suddenly a gold SE logo dropped to the ground, it was bloody, and more blood dropped onto it.

Barker's body was ripped badly- the stomach had been torn open and the intestines were hanging on the branch.
One soldier felt a bit bad and almost vomited.

Scope watched the soldier who almost vomited. Scope whispered a few words to him and then the soldier vomited. Scope was proud now.

"Idiot," Jetz growled under his lips and turned towards Aleksi to give his report.

"Here hangs your leader! He was a weak one but still he was a great soldier," Aleksi shouted to the SE dogs before Jetz said anything.

"But now he is there. One German grenade exploded under his butt and sent him to Heaven but with his luck a lonely branch stopped his travel!" Aleksi continued and stopped his propaganda talk.

No one can do anything to him right now even Jetz was quiet, he waited that Aleksi would stop talking.

"Urgh, I feel bit sick," Aleu said because the air was full of the smell of burnt flesh and dead dogs were lying everywhere but there were not so many who had lost their lives.

"Hmm... Burnt flesh... I'm hungry," Little brother said, he was always hungry like Scope.

"KIA:9 MIA:5," Jetz said and saluted to Aleksi who nodded at him.

"Rest Jetz, I have heard many good reports from you, but I see that you are still Sgt," Aleksi said and smiled at Jetz who only nodded. Jetz knew that he might get a new rank if he would agree with Aleksi but he didn't want a bigger rank.

"Sorry sir I don't want to have more ranks... Sgt is enough for me," Jetz said and turned his back on Aleksi who smiled but didn't care because only a Sgt would turn his back to the Colonel.

"TEAM MOVE OUT!" Aleksi ordered and all dogs rose to their fours and started to walk towards the Brown Shields’ Lands... Where the SE team would move towards their own missions..............

Part:2



Chapter: Four
Location: Moving Towards Antoria
Time:9:13 am 24.6 1928
Mission: Thunder Storm

It was a horrible day, it was raining, but for the Silver Eagle team the situation wasn't so bad, they were sitting in a truck that was moving towards a location that they didn’t know about yet. Human soldiers were there too.
Scope was lucky like always. The soldier who sitting behind him liked dogs and patted him all the time and sometimes even gave some meat to him. Soldiers walked a few days after they escorted their targets to the island. A few days later they found few human regiments and they were ordered to follow them.

Little Brother had been caught twice- trying to steel some juicy bread from his soldier’s bread bag. Once he almost succeeded but his head got stuck in the bag and he then got caught. Scope had already stolen a few small dry meat bags from the soldier sitting behind him and he hadn't noticed anything.

The soldier behind Jetz was also nice, he was also Sergeant. Jetz was resting his head on his leg while the soldier talked with other soldiers. The soldier sitting behind Speedy patted Speedy's head and gave some meat to him.

It was a lot more fun to sit in the truck than walk in the bad weather. Kat was also lucky she was watching a few soldiers starting to play blackjack, and share food, she also got part of it. The soldier sitting behind Little Brother was growling curses because Little Brother tried stealing the bread from him AGAIN.

"C'mon Little Brother, you wont get that bread," Salama shouted and rested his head on the box where the soldiers were playing blackjack. Cards slapped the box happily. The soldier sitting behind Scope was now interested about the card game too. He watched when one of the soldiers got blackjack and took all money and stuff that was on the box near the cards. Kat watched that a bit sarcastically but then she watched when Salama nudged that soldiers sleeve making a few cards drop from it onto the box. Everyone watched them for a while- soon a small word fight was on. English curses flew everywhere in the truck. The peaceful trip was over.

Scope stole another small dry meat bag, this time from the soldier who was patting Cooper. Somehow he succeeded to do it with a fast movement and the soldier didn't notice anything. Scope was the best thief in the whole truck. A few minutes later the soldier noticed that his lunch was gone. He started blaming Cooper and everyone started laughing.

A few hours later the truck stopped and every soldier jumped out from it. Scope jumped and hit a big mud puddle. He growled, his legs where now all wet and muddy. Little brother pissed off to Cooper because he said that he looked like a wolf and threw him into the mud. Cooper rose from the mud and growled angrily at Little Brother who soon faced the mud as well. This started a huge fight between Cooper and Little Brother, Cooper gave up soon though and the trip continued.

The rain had stopped and the sun was shining again. It was early in the morning. Suddenly one dog soldier ran in front of Jetz who was leading the team, "I will take this team now in my control, understand?" he asked, his rank was only Captain but still enough to lead the team. Jetz watched him peacefully like he always does.

"Why do you have to take my team?" he asked and sat down.

"That isn't your business."

"And why should I give my team to you? You are joking right?"

"I'm not in a joking mode sergeant!" Officer shouted, he was panting some.

Soon he gave up and walked away, but soon Jetz saw another nice surprise- the First Silver Wolf dog strike Squadron logo* (*M.S.D.F Operation Silver Wind 1/3)

"Well look who is here," Scope said when he saw what Jetz was looking at.

"Yeah I know but why are here so many human soldiers?" Jetz asked and looked around, then he saw US tanks few Vickers and few SS model tanks that had been copied from the original version. Madsen was shining on the tower and wet armor plates were shining in the sunlight, soldiers ran everywhere, and that was scary.

"I don't know about you guys... But I guess here is something big going on," Jetz said and looked around the area. "Something bad is going to happen....but what?" he suddenly asked from Lightning who was licking his paw behind him.

"I don't know for sure Jetz," Salama said, he knew like everyone else too- something big was going on.

One bird was singing its songs while the dog team reported in. Jetz started to talk with someone who was Cpt, after they talked a few minutes he padded back to his team. "Well when we are out of officers, Aleksi will take our team on his command. It sounds stupid that I'm the one who is in lead, but I can't do anything if other officers have been taken out of my team..." he said it almost growling, but everyone wanted to be under his command because Jetz was a trustful soldier.

"Aww Aleksi Ryssä is leading us again?" Salama snapped and rose on his fours.

"Exactly my friend," Jetz snapped and looked around at the team that held 26 dogs, usually it had 30 but casualties had changed this.

"Alright! We will get some reinforcements from recruits, don't worry they don't have anything else except training..." Suddenly a voice alerted everyone, it was Aleksi who was wearing this time an SE mottled green uniform. From his bag were sneering a couple of stick grenades wooden sticks.

"I have heard what we have in front of us, come and see," Aleksi snapped and started to walk towards the end of the forest. The others followed him. Then they saw a pretty huge town in front of them. Two huge bunkers where shining. The first one was in the middle of the town, the second was on the east sector, and both were built on factories.

"What is that town’s name?" One soldier asked, he was one of the new recruits that had come with Aleksi.
He didn't look so bad a soldier and he was having S.C.D.F training. He was half wolf also. He is a dog, black-and-white, and a white face with the top of the muzzle black.
"Heya My name is Marlow," he said before anyone succeeded in answering his question.

"Well nice to meet you, anyway that town is Antoria," Aleksi said and looked towards the town, "it is under SS command... Only God knows how long they have held it, US is bit pissed off because no one knew that that town had been put under siege." Aleksi said and giggled a while.

"What is our task? Attack it? On open ground without shelters?" Legion said suddenly. He was pointing at a squad that was lying on the ground. A whole assault engineer squadron, rifles were lying near their owners who had died with a bullet in their stomach.

Suddenly Scope and Little Brother ran up, their bags were full of meat and bread. "Hmmh army have really good supplies!" Scope shouted when he took the bread out from his bag and started chewing on it.

"Where did you get those?! From the Supplies!?" Aleksi shouted bit angry when he saw all the foods.

"Yup Colonel!" Scope shouted and sat still and saluted, "Pvt Scope reports that food has been stolen from the US army supplies, Sir!" he reported.

"Don't act like an idiot Scope! This is an order!" Aleksi shouted while he watched his team member.

Scope swallowed something and watched the distance, he knew what will happen next but also he wasn't so sure yet. "Yes Sir Colonel ordered me to not act like an idiot," he said and sneered in his mind.

Aleksi didn't answer. He shook his head and gasped something, "you are a helpless soldier Scope...."

"Alright Sir!" Scope shouted while he watched Aleksi walk away from him.

"Don't tease Aleksi! Scope, he is a very good soldier," Marlow suddenly said to Scope and growled at him.

"What you green horn are to explain?" Scope asked from him and growled louder.

"I said that KEEP away from him!" Marlow snapped louder and growled as well.

Little Brother bonked Marlow's head so hard that he dropped onto the ground, "for self defense," he explained and sneered at Scope who nodded his head.

"Better watch your mouth when you are talking to ME! Pvt Scope! Who isn't a greenhorn who just come from army training!" Scope said sarcastically and walked away, Little Brother behind him.

A few seconds later Marlow woke up. "What happen to me?" he asked and looked around, "Who punched me?" he said angrily.

"No one simply," Legion snapped and continued chewing a small piece of bread that he had gotten from a soldier.

Again it was a quiet moment SE team settled down and started to wait the attack, it was boring. Legion and Scope started fighting because Scope called him a "Desert Rat," Legion beat Scope up badly, but Little Brother interrupted that fight.

Speedy watched the town, he could not know what kind of defense was over there.

"Intelligent said that there is a weak defense, but I think that it is only a fake," Aleksi suddenly said while he walked next to Jetz who was taking a nap.

"When are we going to attack?" Jetz asked.

"As soon as we can. Tanks, artillery and air forces- everything is on this mission- even few Divisions!" Aleksi shouted, everyone’s’ jaws dropped, this was a really big mission.

"What!? Is everything on? Divisions?" Jetz tried to ask but he got only some sort of questions.

"Tank divisions, infantry divisions, dog divisions, artillery batteries, here is everything. That town is really important if here are so many forces, this army would win this whole thing under 4 hours and this will be a Great victory to the M.S.D.F," Aleksi said, he was proud of the US army.

"Or a great massacre," Jetz said under his lips and turned towards Legion and Salama. "You two lets check what they have there," he said and started to walk towards the view point.

"Don't worry my friend, Intelligent knows that there is only one AT-Gun, and a few machineguns," Aleksi said and smiled at Jetz who still padded towards the view point.

It was quiet, the soldiers were gathered near the Military Priest. Dogs watched that thing bit curiously, Scope and Brother almost walked there once but Jetz stopped them.

Middle of that talk dog the soldiers turned to General Derag with interest as he made a speech.

"Listen you brave soldiers! I'm the leader of First Silver Wolf Squadron General Derag. I know that you are curious soldiers and you want to know what the heck is going on! Few ones know already but I will tell it now to you: that town there is Antoria, a factory town, population something more than 500, has two huge bunkers and other defense is unknown, SS forces are weak, near 300 soldiers or less... I hope that this will be over quick, I know also that Intelligent isn't so trustful but now everyone is counting on it but now! Those teams what I will say now will come on the first attack! First! Red Wolf Squadron six! Second! Anti-Tank Assault team nine! Those are the teams that are taking part in this attack!"

Soldiers started to talk loudly to each other, Derag knew that this is a hard thing to the other soldiers.

"Ok we will watch this mess!" Scope shouted, he was happy because the SE team was not asked for on this mission.

The team moved to check what was going on, soldiers gathered to watch the attack on view points, SE team moved back to their place and started to watch the town.

Suddenly a massive wave hit behind all soldiers- one whole Tank team* started their engines, and starting moving towards the town with those deadly weapons. (*8 tanks team) Armor infantry followed the tanks- the attack had begun.

Forces arrived on open ground, first it was easy- one tank fired and soon first AT-Gun flew in the air. It raised the soldiers’ moral and they continued their moving forwards.

"HAHA Those soldiers will make it out from there," Aleksi said, he was happy right now, no one didn't say anything.

Something was happening in the town, soon one loud bang was heard. The grenade hit sunk on a tank’s tower throwing it in the air. Granules flew and cut few soldiers into pieces. Second shot hit on a tank’s gun side and destroyed the whole tank- everyone inside of it died. Soon the second AT-Gun opened fire this time it came from the left side. It hit on the tank farthest left, the engine deck, most of soldiers who were behind the tank died. Machineguns opened fire. Soon a whole massacre was on. The infantry was pinned down, tanks opened fire but didn't get anything useful out. Soon the middle tank got hit from 75mm AT-Gun. It exploded into a thousand pieces. The infantry behind it got huge losses because of those pieces. Machineguns killed several soldiers who tried taking cover. Soon mine-throwers opened their fire and more soldiers got killed. Tank by tank exploded into pieces, soon the infantry was alone on the field, they didn't have any not of what to use, they went into panic and started to run towards their own line, machineguns shot them all. It was quiet- everything had gone peaceful now.

One who was still alive shouted for his mother- it was desperate shouting- one US soldier could not stand that and shot him.

The officers were quiet again, Intelligent had failed badly this time, and their small attack team lay now dead on the field. What was funnier, there were two of these sort of attacks, second attack was behind the town.
"This isn't true... My lovely team is down," one officer said and hit the ground. "No INTELLIGENT LIED TO ME!" he shouted as hard as he could. Suddenly a bullet sank into his chest- a shot from the town.
Officers watched the body a few minutes before they realized that he was dead.
Then they all started to shout "Sniper" word no one knew that Lone Wolf had shot that officer. He was on the second floor of one house.

Lucy was shocked from that fight. In the middle of it she had nuzzled against Scope who was still confused.

"What’s wrong?" he asked her.

"I don't feel so good," she said and lay down. Scope followed her example and lay down next to her. Others decided to go away from there. Few ones even cursed that.

"Well are you ok?" Scope softly asked Lucy who only let a small smile to him.

"Yeah I'm fine," she said and rested her head on his paws, which confused Scope even more, but he rested his head atop her neck.

Huge artillery strike hit the town and at the same time second tank team prepared to attack, this time even Silver Eagle team was attacking also. Artillery was knocking whole town, fires took over and still artillery strike continued.

"Move, move!" one voice commanded SE team, it was the last team who started running towards tanks who were already on the field shooting everything what moved in the town.

"Life is hard sometimes, no one won't know if something that you didn’t expect will happen! That happened to General Dash who lost his life, well he wasn't good leader anyway and humans are saying that dog is cheaper material than human! That why we get the worst places in front, but will someone care? NO! Of course no, who would? One dead dog is as interesting as one T.P piece, some use but then it can be thrown away. That’s why Dog Regiments are thrown into hell. I hope that someone understands this!" Scope shouted to the leader who commanded him to move.

Even in artillery fire AT-Guns opened fire, two tanks were already burning, huge clonk voice was heard when grenade hit on tank’s armor, some strange reason it didn't brake. Second shot hit the tank’s tower- this AT-Gun was more powerful than the first one- the tower flew into the air like a ball and crashed onto the ground. Human pieces flew around the area where the infantry grenade hit. Soldiers screamed deadly when they died under machinegun fire, somehow the attack still continued forward.

Speedy and others made on the first houses, with other soldiers, human soldiers got into a huge hand-to-hand combat were SS-men used field shovels and cut the soldiers. Scope and others jumped against those soldiers. Cooper almost got killed when an SS-man tried to chop him to pieces. Scope killed him by attacking behind and cutting his neck. The SS-man fell onto the ground and he was bitten to death. The fight was horrible but finally the S.S.W.D fled. The US forces were stopped when SS mgs and infantry opened fire.

Speedy and the others found a small collapsed house where they decided to stay for a while. Salama and Legion where all covered in blood when they arrived.

"What have happen to you two?" Little brother asked and bit onto a small piece of bread that he had found.

"Merde! A few privates died bloodily in front of me middle of the battle!" Legion cursed and wiped some blood out from his face.

Salama only nodded for agreement and wiped blood away as well. It was hell, everywhere bullets were flying through the air like flies. Soldier by soldier died middle of this bloodshed.

Few soldiers ran onto the street but soon machinegun fire licked the whole street, leaving only limp bodies.

Jetz rose on his fours. "Follow me! We have to move forwards!" he shouted and every dog followed him. When they arrived onto the street machineguns said hello to them by sending hot bullets. Six dogs fell onto the ground with a loud yelp. "MOVE!" Jetz shouted and a few others got bullets into their skin, sending blood onto the walls.

"Jetz! JETZ!" one soldier shouted, he was wounded badly. Kat stopped and suddenly started to run towards the wounded soldier. She said something to him and threw him onto her back and started to run towards the others. "Kat are you crazy!? You could get killed!" Jetz shouted to her, she only gave small sneer to him and walked to her place. Another machinegun suddenly appeared from the window and aimed at Speedy and the others. Before anything happened the crew suddenly got into a fight with someone.

"Ok someone just saved our butts! Now keep moving!" Aleksi shouted, he somehow arrived from somewhere of the middle of this fight. "YES SIR!" every soldier shouted in unison and ran after Aleksi.

Scope, Salama, Lucy and Speedy ran in the other direction than the others. While running on the streets MG8 started to send bullet waves towards them and they were forced to take cover behind a wall that had fallen over. Bullets started to drum wall parts, Speedy raised his head really carefully and saw that MG’s position was near the end of the street. Few soldiers’ corpses were lying on the street. Scope didn't have any hurry he was eating meat that he had just found.

Middle of it Scope moved next to Lucy. "Want to have some?" he offered and dropped some meat on her paws.

"Thanks," Lucy said and gave a sudden lick to Scope's cheek and started eating.

"Eww...thanks..." Scope said while he looked at her. Lucy raised her look on him and they both smiled to each other.

"Hey you two! Those things belong in holyday!" Legion shouted while he threw a grenade that exploded a few feet away from the enemy soldiers’ wounding some of them. But Scope and Lucy didn't notice anything, until a small grenade woke them out from the dream, and they took cover.

"OK whatever you say Legion!" Scope shouted. Lucy crawled next to wall and took cover from the MG8 fire.

Suddenly Legion heard something noisy that was coming from the sky. "MINE-THROWER!" he shouted and jumped into small ditch. Scope took cover in the ditch as well. A huge explosion shook the ground when the grenade hit.

Soon after the explosion Scope rose his head out from the ditch- he was in shock- he saw Lucy lying on the ground and whining something.

"Lucy!" Scope shouted and ran next to her, she was badly wounded, several cuts around her body and uniform badly ripped. "Lucy? Try to hold on," Scope said and nuzzled against her few tears ran down his cheek. "I'm t-t-trying Scope..." she said quietly tried to move. Scope held her still. "Don't move try to stay calm you are just fine," he said to him. Speedy, who had raised his head from behind a trash barrel where he had flown because of the pressure wave, saw Lucy and Scope who were talking. Then he saw that Lucy was badly wounded. He knew that Scope and Legion knew that she wouldn’t make it.

"Try to fight against it Lucy don't give up," Scope shouted his cheeks were wet. "Lucy... I love you..." he said somehow.

Lucy gave a weak smile. "I l-love you t-too S-Scope…" She said, her eyes closed and her body didn't move anymore. She was dead.

Scope went angry and if Legion wouldn’t slap him into dreamland he would have killed himself. They left the place. Before they left Speedy took Lucy's collar with him, and left her.

The team gathered in the same place that they had found a few minutes earlier. There were already few other teams resting. Everywhere was only one smell- burnt flesh- bodies were lying everywhere.

"Speedy, Scope and Legion! Get over here!" Jetz shouted while Speedy, Legion and Scope rushed into the shelter.

"Where is Lucy?" Jetz shouted. Machinegun fire was loud and dead screams filled the air.

Speedy shook his head and gave Jetz Lucy's collar, Jetz nodded his head a few times. "That was that then..." he said and put her collar into his bag.

Human soldiers rushed towards SSWD positions, machineguns licked whole street and soon there was no movement anymore, tanks were burning on streets, crew members lying next to their tanks.

Speedy and others drank water from a fountain what was still in one piece. After they ran away it exploded into a thousand pieces and threw water everywhere. Scope and Little Brother tried finding the mine-thrower what shot that mine.

It was still hell- both sides had gotten many casualties- US side more than SSWD. The sun was sinking behind the mountain; the battle still continued.

The team just arrived at their resting place. Each of these soldiers were all covered in blood and half of them wounded, Marlow cursing this more than once.

"War is hell," he said under his lips.

"C'est la guerre," Legion snapped while he tried to eat some military bread that he had stolen from a dead soldier.

Suddenly Aleksi jumped into the middle of the dogs and checked them. "We are going to attack soon, SSWD will be thrown away from their positions, and fast," he said coldly to Jetz who nodded his head. Then he looked at the others. When they came into the town there had been 30, now only 14 remained.

"I know what are you saying without any words my friend, reinforcements are coming soon," Aleksi shouted and walked away from the dogs shouting, "C'mon guys lets move out!" Every dog followed him towards the great massacre.

Soldiers started to run towards the SSWD line with humans. Machineguns opened fire and soldiers started to fall like blades of grass. Soon a huge hand-to-hand combat was on when US soldiers succeed to get into the SS line: they stabbed, bit, punched and killed everyone who was wearing the mottled brown uniform. Speedy faced a soldier who had a rifle bayonet in his hand and tried to stop him with it. Speedy jumped against the soldier and the soldier fell onto his back. Soon he was a body with a torn-open throat.

"MOVE MOVE MOVE!" One Sgt shouted and died when someone threw at him with a knife. Legion shouted something in French and jumped against an SS Captain and cut his throat.
Salama jumped against a soldier who was pinning Cooper down, fast neck beat killed the soldier.
Blood flew from soldiers and soon the sun was gone. The SS line was captured, and the SS had retreated farther.

Back in old safe place....

The SE team was deadly exhausted, from 14 only 11 dogs remained. Reinforcements came like Aleksi had promised and now Scope, Jetz and the others started teaching them how to fight. They were only young recruits, who had been thrown into a meat mill after their training, many of them were full of happiness that they were in action.

"I don't scare SS Sgt," one private said to Jetz who tried to explain what this was all about.

"Of course you won't right now Pvt, but when they will come with Rifle bayonets you will run like the devil himself is after you," Scope shouted, for one strange reason he had gotten over Lucy's death but he didn't want to be a weak soldier- he was a good example for soldiers.

Soon they heard barking middle of crawler track’s noise. They went to look what was going on, then they saw a few SS dogs who were attacked against a US tank. The tank commander was hanging on the hatch, his throat had been torn open, and soon one bag flew inside the tank. "Take Cover!" Jetz shouted and soon the tank exploded into pieces.

A second tank that was behind the first stopped, another bag flew under it, and it exploded under the tank sending it into the air. The commander flew out from the tower into the air and dropped down onto the ground.

"Amen," Scope said and swallowed a piece of bread.

Suddenly two SS soldiers attacked against dog guards who were killed by rifle bayonets. "Attack!" Jetz shouted and saw when two other dogs were shot. Few recruits went in panic and start running like headless chickens. "Yeah Run cowards before SS man will come and stab his bayonet in your butt!" Scope shouted and threw a grenade in the middle of the two soldiers. They didn't see it, it exploded, threw them into the air and they dropped into a grenade ditch. Again it was peaceful.
Only sounds were battle voices, machineguns shot all the time, grenades exploded, rifle shots, and death screams, all this was battle. Dog Regiment 3 was already dead three MG8 shot almost everyone, SS dogs killed the rest.

Soon day changed into night; a cold and deadly night. Only machineguns, grenades and fires were making noise and light. Most soldiers were exhausted, tired, hungry and thirsty. No one could blame them. Everyone had faced hell and the whole battle had stopped. No one could attack anymore- the front was stuck.

The SE team was covering and licking their wounds, most of the team was gone. Speedy tried to sleeping like the others but was always alarmed that something might happen. He and the others were covered in blood, dust, mud and dirt, none of them smelled well.

"I'm damn hungry!" Scope shouted and rested his head onto his helmet, were was one bullet hole, luckily he wasn’t wearing it when the bullet came.

"Everyone is Scope calm down..." Jetz said peacefully like always, he was guarding with Legion. Hunter* was the team’s newcomer, actually he belongs in Derag's division but now he is with the SE team. He coughed a while before saying anything.(*M.S.D.F Silver Wind 1/3)

"I think that we will get something to eat," Hunter said and looked at everyone else. Those recruits didn't sleep, they were too scared to do so, each of them were tightly together. Jetz looked at them a bit sadly, those young dogs have been thrown into hell before they had even faced something. Experience is the only thing that matters.

"Poor young soldiers...." Salama said and lay down near the road, having a perfect view of the road to see what the S.S.W.D was up to.

"Quiet...Too quiet," Legion said and sniffed the air, then he hung his head down.

"Nothing to hear?" Jetz asked to have some conversation, Legion raised his head and smiled at Jetz.

"No nothing and that ain't so usual..." he said while turning his head towards the other team members.

"Hey between us two. Do you think that those privates can make it?" he asked curiously and looked at the sky where two Handley Page V/1500 heavy bombers were bombing SS stations.

"Again those bombers!" Salama shouted from his guarding place, he had almost gotten killed when those bombers missed their targets.

"Flying devils…" Jetz snapped and ripped a small piece of bread and ate it, while watching the recruits who were frightened. "It's easy to understand them, first time in action... If they would be old veterans, it would be funny to watch them," Jetz continued and giggled a while.

"No one ever knows..." Scope snapped from his spot. He was trying to eat sausages, which he had stolen from dead soldiers.

Little brother had had his own sausages. He had eaten them already and was full. His meal came from a dead soldier’s pocket as well.

Suddenly Lightning shouted something. "Perkele!" was heard from his spot when he jumped into a ditch. First it looked comical but then everyone saw an SS model water tank that had two nice big SS letters on it's tower, also what was good thing, it had a flamethrower on it's hull.

"TANK!" Jetz shouted and everyone took cover. Hunter was just going to rise on his fours when Hotchkiss MG opened fire. Bullets drummed his body when he gave way to a deadly scream. His body hit the ground, but he still moved. He was deadly wounded and screamed for his mother, God, a medic and whatever else he got into his mind. The tank turned and started to move towards the others and Hunter's body. The tank drove over his body smashing it into some sort of bloody meat and crushed bones heap.

"Amen," Scope said when he saw the tank driving away from him, he get up soon and ran after the tank.
Salama, Legion, Scope and one soldier jumped onto the engine deck running towards the main hatch. The fourth soldier walked near the hatch but soon it opened and one pistol shot came from inside of it. The dog yelped and hit the tank’s deck. Legion cursed and threw a grenade that dropped inside the tank. He and Salama took off before the grenade exploded. Inside the tank a loud bang could be heard, the tank stopped in the middle of the valley.

"That is Kaput," Scope shouted. The pressure wave threw him against a trash barrel. He rose and jumped upright on the ground shaking his uniform, which was a bit ripped, he cursed this.

Jetz rose onto his fours and cleaned his face from mud and from blood, that had already dried on his face. "You know guys, this is getting me sick," he cursed and watched Hunter's body, or what was left of him.

"Man Hunter screamed like a little piggy," Scope shouted and everyone started to laugh, Hunter was forgotten.

In the boiler room in Nome...

Something big was going on in there, everyone was talking about a man who lives in some town that is famous for sled dogs and one of the fastest sled dogs from that town was called May. May was a golden-white husky. She was in Nome also.

"What kind of dog is she?" Ralph asked Kodi, who was listening to Daicy who had heard these news. Kodi turned his head towards Ralph. "What?" he asked fast and looked back towards Daicy who was now laughing.

"Didn't you listen to me?" Ralph asked furiously and mumbled something under his lips.

"Well yeah...I guess so..." Kodi said without glancing at Ralph who sighed deeply and walked away to chat with Kirby.

It was quiet when suddenly the door opened and one golden-white female husky walked in and sat down. She had brown around her eyes and blue eyes. "Hi," she said quietly, silence was teasing her and made her feel a bit uneasy.

"Is something wrong?" She asked suddenly looking at everyone else, Daicy was the only one who broke the silence. "Heya are you May?" she asked and padded in front of May.

"Yeah that’s me," May said and smiled at her, she didn't know what to do next, also she thought that a few ones will start liking her too much, she didn't want to face that.

"Hi and welcome to Nome," Fang said and looked at her.

Soon whole boiler room was full of questions, May shook her head and thought in her mind "Ouh boy why I have to face this..."

"Well I have heard something new..." Kodi suddenly said, everyone turned their heads towards him.

"What is it?" May asked and looked at Dusty who had sat down next to her.

Kodi look at the others and shook his head "I'm sorry guys...I don't know, honestly…"

Everyone sighed in disappointment but soon they started to talk with each other again.

Kodi walked up next to Fang. "I have always liked surprises... But dad told me to wait for it," he said and winked. Fang nodded his head and walked up next to Shakira, who moved away from there leaving Fang there alone.

Thunder saw that and started to giggle. She was always giggling about her brother. Actually she didn't like her brother, because he always chased male dogs away when they were talking to her, she growled at this in her mind.

"I would like to punch my brother someday..." she growled under her lips to Ralph and after that she walked out of the boiler room.

May walked out from the boiler room, she was bored, and didn't like it when males started to surround her, she just wasn’t that type which wants to a have mate fast.

She sat down and sighed while looking at the ground, she missed her hometown, nice to her, and she almost felt like she was there already.

Someone woke her from her dreams- Daicy.

"Hey I guess you want to see this town," she said while she walked in front of May and sat down.

May rolled her eyes, at the moment she was scared that some male wanted to show her this town. "Yeah, that’s fine with me," she said and smiled while she looked around her.

Kodi watched after them while they disappeared behind a corner, he thought in his mind what to do next.

"What’s up with you Kodi?" Fang asked while he walked up next to him and watched after Daicy and May.

"You like May?" Kodi asked with sarcasm and a sneer.

"Shut up," Fang snapped and walk away from Kodi towards the city. Thunder walked up next to Kodi and giggled all the time about her brother. "I think he is crazy about her," she said and chuckled.

Fang stopped and looked over his shoulder watching towards Thunder. "You young lady come to Home RIGHT NOW!" he shouted at her and waited till she would come with him.

"No way I won’t come with you!" Thunder shouted and growled at him, she wouldn’t give up this time.

"Hey Fang... I think it's better if you will let your sister to decide in what she is doing," one voice came from behind Fang who looked back.

"Who are you?" He asked a golden-white male husky who sneered at him. "I'm May's brother," he said quietly and sat down watching the other huskies.

"It's not your business what I do to my sister! She's my sister not yours!" Fang continued shouting at him.

"My name is Ray," the husky said calmly to Fang who gave up and walked off. "OK Thunder this time you are free BUT remember to come home early!" he shouted to Thunder who sneered at her brother. "Yeah, yeah… Sure, sure..." She said and smiled to herself, she was now really happy that her brother wasn't annoying her right now.

She watched as her brother disappeared behind the building, the night was still beautiful. She started to dream something what she would now experience, then she remembered who have helped her and she looked towards Ray.

"Hey thanks for helping me, I really hate my brother, he is SO annoying...he keeps thinking that I can't take care of myself," Thunder said to Ray and sighed.

"Your welcome," Ray said and chuckled a while, "sometimes I take too good of my sister too," Ray said and looked to his left side.

"Nääh you shouldn't be, you know HOW your sister loves freedom like I do," Thunder preached, and rose her muzzle a bit higher.

"Yeah I agree, but sometimes she gets into trouble... Or well... Hehhe all the time she is in trouble," Ray said and looked on his side then back towards Thunder who stretched her self.

She snapped something, "Well I'm in trouble always too and my brother is getting sick of rescuing me all the time" Thunder said and walked inside the boiler room.

"Then he likes you," Ray said while he walked next to Thunder who mumbled something under her breath.

"What’s wrong with you?" Ray asked a bit worriedly. Thunder sat down and sighed.

"Nothing... I'm fine…" she said and walked out of the boiler room, after she made it out she ran away.

Ray guessed that he had hurt her feelings and said sorry under his lips and walked to talk with the others. Blitz wasn't there which was a usual happening.

Thunder stopped and watched the sky and sighed, she was sad because her brother hadn't given her any chance to find someone who she loves...


Morning........


Antoria: War woke everyone, soldiers who were yesterday SO clean were now dirty and messy.

Speedy woke when a mine-thrower's mine hit in the middle of the resting dogs. Solid material buried him.

He dug himself out from there and watched around for the others who had woken up early, now the whole team was awake.

"What is going to happen now, Jetz?" Speedy asked Jetz who was chewing dry bread.

"We are going to attack and throw the SS out of their stations," he said quietly and watched the new recruits.

"Reinforcements! This will be a bloody attack!" Scope shouted while he rose on his fours and shook his fur, he walked over to talk with the new recruits and trade with them because Scope can smell a piece of meat for miles.

Jetz always growled when he saw Scope trading with new soldiers. In Scope’s mind they won't survive so why to throw good meat and grenades away? Jetz didn’t care about that he knew that those soldiers needed everything that they have.

"SCOPE!" he shouted really loudly wanting him to come over. When Scope ignored him he shouted again then Scope came and sat down and saluted Jetz.

"Scope... What’s your problem? Why stealing others’ stuff?" he asked angrily.

"That what you call 'Stealing' is only trading," Scope said for defense but he knew already that he would not beat Jetz.

"Get back to your place and don't tease recruits anymore understand?" Jetz asked, but before he got an answer they heard engine sounds coming from the sky.

Three Handley Page V/1500 heavy bombers with SS logos and few Fokker D VII planes attacked, throwing their bombs on the ground. Dogs took cover while bombs hit the ground and machineguns licked the ground. One dog screamed-bullets had hit him- he died fast.

"Take Cover!" Aleksi shouted while he jumped into a ditch.

Scope was also in the ditch with Speedy and Little Brother, all of them were eating meat that they had gotten somewhere. When Scope spotted Aleksi he gave meat to him too. Aleksi thanked him and ate it thinking what to do next.

Soon Soldiers walked back out from their covers and joined on an attack squad- Legion was first like always.

"ATTACK!" Human officer shouted and soon all soldiers started to run towards SS stations supported with tanks.

Machineguns opened fire and started to slaughter soldiers, also mine-throwers awoke and sent hot steel atop the US soldiers. The MG stations were soon destroyed because of the infantry and tanks. The attack continues.

Speedy made it with the first ones to reach the SS line jumping atop of a soldier who was loading his gun. The soldier shouted something but Speedy killed him fast by ripping his throat.

A grenade’s pressure wave threw Speedy a few feet away from the dead soldier. He got up and jumped onto another soldier and killed him too. All soldiers of the SS side were soon killed. One SS dog threw a Schatchel charge into the middle of the US soldiers. It blew up and cost 32 soldiers’ lives including one tank.

"Damn what kind of explosion!" Scope shouted and jumped onto the SS dog who threw that bag.

"DIE!" He shouted and sunk his fangs into the soldier’s neck, the SS dog kicked him away and bit Scope's neck.

"That ain't so nice," Scope said when he pushed the soldier away and again jumped onto him. This time Legion came and bit SS dog's throat ripping it fast- this trick he had learned from the Foreign Legion and had taught it to others too.

"Hey! That was MY prey!" Scope shouted at Legion who sneered at him and ran away. Scope followed him.

Speedy faced a soldier who wanted to chop him down with his knife. "Du bist tot!" SS man shouted and tried cut Speedy. Speedy attacked him when he made the first slash and succeeded to knock him onto the ground where one soldier stabbed him with a knife.

Speedy jumped back to see who had done it. It was the same man who had been sitting behind him in the truck- he smiled at Speedy.

Suddenly a small red whole appeared in his stomach. Some warm blood spat onto Speedy's face, he was shocked badly, but then battle awoke him and he fought like the others did.

Soon the forces started to run forwards no one wanted to be left behind. The real attack had started.

Soldiers shouted while they rushed towards the new SS line. A small cement bunker that had been constructed near the new line and MG8:ts opened fire towards the running soldiers. It had ended, leaving only tens of corpses.

One soldier who was running get wave on his back he screamed deadly and hit on the ground, one soldier lost his legs and ran few meters without them, then bullets cut him in to pieces.

A grenade exploded in the middle of the soldiers sending pieces everywhere around the street, finally all soldiers took cover. The attack had turned into a massacre...

"Jetz! Jetz! Please someone Help me!" Cooper shouted. He was lying on the street a bullet wound in his leg. It was not so bad but bad enough to not let him move.

"Idiot! Crawl!" Jetz shouted from the collapsed building where rest of the team had gathered.

Kat shook her head and suddenly ran out into the street towards Cooper. Machineguns opened fire at once when she got onto the street getting that wounded dog out of there. She got onto the street next to Cooper, threw him on her back, and started to run on the road. Bullets flew like angry flies near them. "God’s sake! Those SS men can't even aim!" Scope shouted, no one didn't know did he want them to die or something else.

"C'mon Kat you can do it!" Little Brother encouraged her to continue. Suddenly bullet flew and hit Kat's back making her collapse. "No! Not now!" Jetz shouted towards Kat who tried to rise back on her feet, but she succeeded to take cover behind a destroyed tank.

Marlow watched that too, his battle was also good with few kills but not so many as the veterans.

Suddenly Legion jumped onto the street and jumped next to Kat. "C'mon! We don't have enough time to waist SS will soon send several bullets on our butts if we stay here!" he shouted to Kat and helped her back onto her feet. They ran towards the collapsed building, bullets flew and suddenly Cooper shouted in pain when another bullet sunk into his body, this time the shoulder. With a jump they succeeded to get in cover.

"DAMN KAT! You could get killed! Are you out of your mind?" Jetz scolded her but inside him he knew that he was thankful that she was still alive.

"Sorry Jetz... I just do my work..." she said and lowered her head.

"It's ok now everyone is still alive," Jetz said and looked at the others, "OK we will stay here for a while."

Suddenly MG8:ts started their fire again bullets drummed metal this time and engines growled loudly.

"Tank attack," Cooper said while Kat tried to fix him but then she was interrupted by Trase.

"What do you want?" Kat snapped at him, then she felt when Trase dropped some water onto her wound, and started to patch her.

Tanks drove forward on the street, machineguns were sending bullets everywhere. Suddenly the front tank exploded and soon the second and the third. SS dogs attacked against those tanks.

Jetz looked at the road and saw that six S.S.W.D dogs attacked there. "Kill EM!" Scope shouted and jumped onto the first one, first SS dog attacked against a recruit who died fast. They didn’t know SS tricks like the veterans did.

Speedy faced an SS dog, the SS dog jumped atop of him trying to reach his throat but Speedy kicked him two times in the stomach and then tossed him into the air with his front paws and kicked him with both hind legs. That style had been learned from the SS. The soldier flew onto the ground and Legion killed him with a fast style grab on the throat and then a fast tear, then soldier’s throat is torn open. He uses always his whole body in this mission, in a way what no one knows.

Another two US dogs had lost their lives. The SS tactic is to always beat the weakest first, and it always works.

The SE dogs did their best to cover the recruits who tried to fight against the SS dogs. For soldiers it ain't like a Civil Dog fight, they can do tricks that others have no idea of- how to rip dog's throat before he realizes it, how to surprise and cut the neck and other bizarre ways of how to fight- those things army dog's know and they have to know them otherwise they are killed.

Jetz jumped onto an SS dog who was just going to rip one soldier’s throat. He bit as hard on SS dog's neck as he succeeded to bite. Then he moved his body down forcing the soldier to lie on the ground and then he cut the SS dog's neck with a fast twist.

Every SS dog was now dead. It was quiet only wounded ones were whining.

The sky was full of grey clouds and it soon started to rain. Everyone started cursing that.

Food had ended also, there was nothing to eat. Speedy and the others tried to eat old bread. Useless.

"ARGH! I can't eat that thing what it even is I want to have REAL meat!" Scope shouted and got up from his place and padded up next to Little brother, "C'mon let's get something to eat," he said quietly and walked away from the collapsed building, Little Brother behind him.

"Halt! Where you two going?!" Jetz shouted after them. Scope smiled to him when he looked over his shoulder. "Checking what kind of menu neighbors have," he said and sneered then walked away.

"Ouh Great now they are going to get bullets..." Jetz said under his lips and rested his head on his paws and sighed, it was still early.

After a few minutes of silence they heard several gun shots and shouts then they heard one happy scream.

"That was Scope," Legion said and nodded his head for a point.

Then they heard huge death scream. "That was Little brother," Salama said and rested his head on his paws, soon the gun shots ended and all was quiet again.

"Hahaha!" Scope laughed when he jumped back inside the collapsed house, behind him was Little brother who had a bloody muzzle.

"Did you bit under hip again?" Janice asked sarcastically Little Brother who was happy again.

"Yeah but it was worth it, he begged that by hanging around with bayonet," Little brother said and raised his head because he was proud of himself again.

"Yeah, Yeah, sure, sure, look what we have!" Scope shouted and threw a huge bag onto the floor. The bag was full of food, bread, dry meat, chicken, cow, horse- whatever they had found.

"Of course I have to sell them, they aren't free," Scope said, but he changed his mind when others threatened him with some sort of things.

Every SE dog ate like a king, few dog team members came to have some food but they were thrown away. "Not For everyone!" Scope shouted after them.

Soon after they had eaten, Jetz made a small patrol. Those who he picked were: Speedy, Cooper, Kat, Salama, Legion, Janice, and himself.

"OK we will return fast," he said to the rest of the team and walked away with the selected dogs behind him.

Walking for a few minutes, they didn't see anything that would be new. Only old corpses that smelled awful but they ignored it, dead civilians were also lying everywhere. Children even...

"Why they CAN'T let civilians alone," Salama growled when he saw those bodies.

"Life is hell," Jetz snapped from the lead.

One old pram was lying on the street, some crying voices were heard from there, and the child’s mother was lying on ground killed by an artillery grenade. Jetz cursed war so that everyone heard it.

Janice walked towards the pram, Speedy looked at the others then followed her.

She rose on her hind legs to see what was inside the pram. There was only one baby who was crying.

"Aww isn’t he cute?" Janice asked Speedy who rose next to her.

"Well… he is," Speedy said after he watched the baby a few seconds.

Suddenly a bullet interrupted them, it flew just one inch by their heads.

"Holy!" Speedy shouted and took cover behind a street that was near the pram, Janice followed him.

Two grenades flew into the air and hit the street shaking it, fire captured everything that was near.

Pram wasn't in the same spot anymore, it had flown into the shop that was next to it.

"Ouh my god!" Janice shouted and jumped into the shop checking if the baby was OK. Luckily it was OK. She lay down and started to cry, happy tears.

Speedy lay down next to her, he didn't know what else he could do, and rested his head on her back and sighed. "When this war is going to end?" Janice asked while she sniffed.

"I hope that soon," Speedy said, he couldn’t find any good words to calm her down. She was badly upset, near braking point, if dog will face it, it will be doomed. Janice knew that and same does Speedy.

Suddenly they heard a man’s voice behind the corner. The shop owner walked out from the basement where he and his wife have been hiding. He looked at the two dogs a bit confused, but then he saw the baby and walked up next to it.

"I can take care of him," he said to the dogs and talked softly to the baby now in his hands and disappeared down into the basement again. Speedy rose on his fours and nudged Janice to do the same. She rose up soon as well.

"Thanks Speedy you at least tried helping me," she said and wiped her tears away and walked out from the building where the others were waiting for them.

"C'mon guys here isn't whole day time to do so," Salama shouted and sneered at Legion, who nodded at him.

They walked a few minutes again and didn't see anything that would be of interest and the rain was nasty like always.

"Aww I hate rain it is alw....ARGH!" Cooper said but was interrupted by a bullet that hit his chest, he dropped onto the street trying to fight for a breath, and he let strange voices, strangling voices.

"Ouh My god! KAT!" Jetz shouted when he pulled Cooper into a small street, trying to not hurt him.

Kat jumped up next to him and looked into Cooper's eyes. Cooper still tried to get a breath ,but he couldn't succeed.

"He has a chest shot... I can't help him..." Kat said, she was shocked when she saw his face. Cooper coughed trying to get his throat free, some blood came out from his mouth.

"C'mon Cooper..." Speedy said when he watched his face, then he looked towards Jetz who was holding his paw on Cooper's chest, that was bleeding badly, his paw was bloody.

"Cooper..?" Legion asked when he lowered his head near his friend. "You won't survive..." he said quietly and pulled his head back.

Cooper tried still to take a breath. It was desperate whining that he made, trying to get a breath. He started to cry, tears running down his cheek.

"No… No... Why him..." Janice said quietly, actually she hated Cooper but now she realized that she didn't hate him after all.

Cooper didn't say anything, he suffocated in Antoria, on a chest shot, the bullet sunken into his lungs.

Jetz sat down looking at the others. Then he lay down in the wet mud, he and his team had lost one of the best dogs. Speedy took Cooper's collar and gave it to Salama who put it into his bag.

"He is now dead, let’s keep going," Jetz said suddenly and rose onto his fours and then walked away from the side street, everyone following him.

Again it was a quiet moment only several gun shots pierced the whole town.

Clouds were filling the whole sky, and it was raining. The artillery fire was so distant that even the dogs didn’t hear it. Kodi and Kirby were walking on the street behind them was Thunder, who was talking with Dina.

It was quiet and no one paid any attention to the sounds.

They walked into the forest to have some small adventure, as they walked forward they still didn't give any attention to the artillery fire because they didn't hear it.

"Aah nothing can beat this kind of walk in the forest!" Dina shouted behind others.

"Yeah you are right Dina..." Kodi said then he heard something, his ears perked up.

"What’s wrong?" Thunder asked him, and then she heard something too. Everyone started to listen, it was quiet but they still heard it.

"What is that?" Dina asked braking the silence; she wanted to know what was going on.

"I don't know c'mon let's go and check what those sounds are!" Kodi shouted starting to run towards a small mountain that usually gave a good view point.

They ran as fast as they could up the mountain. When they reached the top they got to where they could see.

"Whoa what are those voices?" Kirby asked while he looked at the horizon.

"I don't know...." Thunder said, "sounds like a lightning storm," she said looking towards Kodi who was watching that direction all the time.

"Well I don't know... But that sounds creepy," Dina said and took one step back.

They listened to the voices, the wind blew, and that sound they heard was like a hollow bum.

"OK I have listened enough!" Dina said then she ran down the mountain, the others soon followed her.

After they made it back to the town they walked into the boiler room to talk about what they had heard with the others.

"Yeah I have heard those strange sounds too," Fang snapped from the corner, he was now quiet, unusual for him.

"Hmm... Maybe it's just a storm?" Balto suddenly said and looked at the others and waited for agreements, and he got them too.

"I agree, only storm," Dina said while she sat down, and sighed.

Kodi was a bit curious, he knew that there was some sort of surprise, his father have heard it, and it belongs to his sled team.

"What is that surprise daddy?" Kodi asked from Balto same time he broke the silence.

"Well very well Kodi... Those new dogs May and Ray... Well they are one town’s best and the fastest dogs... And their owner has invited us to come to their town for a visit," Balto said and smiled to others who were really surprised.

"We are going to their town?" Fang asked while he rose onto his fours, he was a lead dog as well, but not in Kirby's team, in his team belonged a few dogs but also he belongs on the team as well.

"Yes that’s true, my owner will take you there, your musher’s are counting on them so you will come with us to the town,” May said she hadn’t heard the conversation and joined it.

"Well when are we going to go?" Kodi asked. He and the others were full of excitement.

"We are maybe going to leave today, but I'm not so sure, first we will take airplane, then we will land a few miles away from the town, so we have to walk the rest of the trip. Simple," May explained and smiled at the happy dogs.

"What is the town’s name?" Dusty suddenly asked May and smiled at her.

"Well it is a beautiful town, huge for some parts, I haven't been there for a while but now I will get back there. When I was a pup I have been taken away from there and trained somewhere else, but I have been there for a few weeks," she said. Before continuing she cleaned her throat.

"Well the name is Antoria......"

Antoria:

Artillery fire is now keeping everyone in their ditches, whole batteries are firing on the town all the time, drum fire before attack.

"DAMN! I will soon lose my ears!" Scope shouted trying to cover his ears with his paws.

"Same here!" Salama shouted and grinned evilly while trying to cover his head with his paws.

Suddenly a scream was heard. One grenade had hit in the middle of two recruits, pieces flew in the air. With rain came also blood and flesh pieces.

"No hyi helvetti!" Salama shouted when someone’s leg hit on his back, he throw it away.

"I hate when someone will explode into pieces!" he continued while let out a huge number of Finnish curses.

"Amen!" Scope shouted but didn't continue it anymore because grenade hit near his ditch.

This went on for about a half hour, then it suddenly stopped, few dogs had died in own artillery fire, but in S.S.W.D line, there was no life anymore. US soldiers attacked with tanks, but Hotchkiss machineguns opened fire, and same did SS soldiers, few MG08 opened fire also, soldiers died on the street shouting death screams. Tanks were now alone, SS dogs destroyed them one by one.

"Good US attack," Jetz said while he raised his head to see what had happened. Tank wrecks and dead soldiers were lying everywhere on the battle field.

"Sad that those bastards aren't so good soldiers like the SS ones," Legion mumbled while he rose on his fours.

Moving had stopped on the central area of the town, S.S.W.D was controlling whole area, and an old flagpole was at the middle of the battlefield- the SS flag was still on it.

Scope watched that flag, he was the one who wanted to take it down, but all officers have said that S.S.W.D flag will be taken down when ALL forces have been destroyed.

They can't go and take it down, because snipers and real action thirsty soldiers, who shot light bullet at once when they hear some voices from the line.

Those sides were quiet for now, Scope howled into the air, and shouted something towards the SS line, someone howled back and shouted some curses at him.

"Hey! SS what’s up?" Scope shouted and giggled with others, soon they heard the answer: "Haltet den Mund ihr Idioten! Wir kriegen euch bei Nacht wenn ir Alles fortsetzt!" One SS dog shouted while he rose his head from a ditch.

"I don't get what you are shouting to me!" Scope shouted back and laughed with the others, it was fun to shout something to the SS line because someone will always answer it; usually language was hard because SS talk usually German and US England.

"Halt die Schnauze! Oder wir kommen und schneiden sie dir raus!" Voice shouted back, one soldier translated that to Scope, who started to shout several words to them.

"Job tovei madij!" Aleksi shouted. Salama laughed when they shouted to the SS line, soon even human soldiers started to shout there because dogs had woken them. Word war was on and some officers joined it too.

"Hei saastat huomenna tullaan ja tuikataan perse tuleen teiltä!" Salama shouted in finnish, somehow he even got an answer. "Tulkaa vaan niin saatte turpaan!" Voice shouted back, (*Hey filths tomorrow we will come and burn your butts!**OK C'mon you can come so that we can punch you guys!)

Salama sent several curses towards the line, but then he went quiet when he saw that who shouted to him was female SS soldier pure white when they saw her, not so sure was she pure white.

"Stupid to go on SS side," Legion cursed when he saw her. Scope only rose his head. "Hey Beauty want to come for a walk when this toilet war will be over?" he shouted to her soon he get answer "Sika, sinun laistesi kanssa en menisi koskaan!" She shouted and disappeared into a ditch.

"What she said?" Scope asked from Salama who was laughing "She likes you" Salama said quietly and still laughed because he was only one who got what she said, he whispered to Legion something "Actually she shouted like this 'Pig! With your kind of ones I won't never go out,” he said and they both started to laugh loudly, word war ended when someone who was Colonel shouted something. The war continued.

Sun was soon gone, only smoke covered the day light but it was soon gone.

SE team tried to relax, it was quiet on front, guns were quiet, and silence filled whole area. Scope was chewing military bread trying to enjoy it. Legion and the others were bored, no attacks, only sometimes USAF will do something, Handley page bombers and Aicro D.H 4 fighters did something for a while bombing SS line.

"Pilots have fun like usual," Scope mumbled under his lips, while he watched those planes.

"Usual they have..." Legion said under his lips, he cursed planes.

"Hey Legion what kind of place is this 'Foreign Legion'?" Scope suddenly asked him, Legion looked at Scope and snapped something.

"It was like hell, only few friends made it out from there, desert isn't right place for Husky, too hot one died on there, they cut our fur almost away, we were bald," Legion said and snapped again. "Also Arabians can fight like devils, it was hard to even defend fortress, always they succeeded in breaking through the defense line, gates are useless someday, then they will come in and the words Hand-to-hand combat starts..." Legion explained and yawned, air bomb hit on the SS line at the same time.

"Fire in the hole!" One human soldier shouted and fired grenade into the SS line, there it exploded sending some ground into the air. Everyone started to laugh but it ended when a sniper shot that man who had shot the grenade.

Word war started again.......

"Hei sotilas!" same female husky shouted from the SS side, she walked onto the streets; mottled brown uniform was teasing M.S.D.F soldiers.

"Niin?" Lightning shouted to them raising his head from the ditch carefully but surely.(*Hey Soldier, Yes?)

"Mitä luulet? tulisikko kävelylle?" She shouted to Salama who bit his lip, (*What do you think? Like to come for a walk?)

"No kai sitä nyt vois tullakki," Salama shouted back, she giggled quietly on the other side, no one didn't shoot, every soldier was watching her when she walked onto open ground.(*I guess that I would come)

She laughed and disappeared into a small ditch, to everyone’s disappointment.

Suddenly gun shots ended that disappointment, war started again and machineguns opened fire from both sides.

"TRACKS!" Someone alerted and took cover in a ditch, soon six SS tanks arrived behind the houses, and US forces pulled their AT-Guns into good positions.

"OK men FIRE!" Officer shouted soon two AT-Guns sent amour grenades towards SS tanks one missed, the second exploded on the armor, somehow it didn't brake it.

"New in the pipe!" Officer commanded but those green horns weren't so good with guns, soon Hotchkiss opened fire and slaughtered whole crew. The second US gun crew went in panic and abandoned their guns and ran away, SS AV7 tank fired and the abandoned guns flew into the air.

"COME BACK COWARDS!" Officer shouted as loud as he could, but machineguns ripped him into pieces.

Those tank crews were expert with their tanks, they weren’t cowards or green horns, only tough veterans. They cleaned the whole yard, behind them came infantry, and then the dogs. Machineguns opened fire and started to slaughter them, new AT-guns came also, they opened fire and soon two SS tanks were knocked out.

SS soldiers ran away, behind them came dogs, Salama was lying alone in his ditch, he was holding grenade in his mouth ready to pull rope out. Suddenly someone jumped on him and stood atop of him, Salama looked towards who it was, and it was the same female dog who had shouted to him. The Finnish blue white flag was shining on her uniform next to SS logo, Two Thunders.

"Hey I promised to have a visit," she said and sat down next to him, Salama swallowed something and rose on his fours quietly and slowly.

"Hey you have same Finland flag too," she suddenly said and smiled at him, while she slapped playfully Salama's side where the small flag picture was.

"Yeah I see that you made to come even..." Salama said looking her, she wasn't pure white, her chest and stomach fur was white, but rest was light yellow, her eyes where blue and ears had black tips.

"No kai sitä nyt suomea puhutaan koska sieltä sitä tullaanki," She said suddenly and yawned. (*Well I guess we will speak Finnish when we come from there)

"No...kai nyt, miten sinä jouduit noitten seuraan?" Salama asked from her, she bit her lip but didn't say anything. (*Well yeah I guess …How did you get on their side?)

She giggled a while and sat down near him and yawned. "Last time I spoke Finnish was when I left Finland... I miss my homeland and also my family who have died already. Russians..." she said and sighed. Salama nudged her cheek to cheer her up a bit, she was crying.

"Ouh by the way my name is Sayni..." she said and smiled at Salama when he tried to cheer her up.

"Salama called also by Lightning meaning same thing," he said and giggled, suddenly gun shot interrupted them Salama felt something warm hitting his chest, he jumped against the ground, then he rose his look on Sayni, she was wounded badly, on her back was hole what threw some blood out.

"Sayni!" he shouted and ran up next to her, "Sattuiko pahasti?" he asked while licked her cheek, she could not even speak any word "C'mon...Sayni?" Salama asked, she was dead already.

Salama realized that fast he nodded his head and sat down in the ditch, lonely he sighed. Now he was really getting used to these sorts of accidents he knew that her own side shot her because she raised her head too high, what is usually deadly mistake.

Scope jump into the ditch and smiled at the dead body. "Well dates end in raw fight?" he asked and sneered at Salama who was showing his dark side.

"Yeah I guess so... She farted cold because she raised her head too high," Salama snapped. He took her collar and the rest she had, and put them into his bag. Scope nodded his head sadly, this case reminded him about Lucy.

"Patrol is today’s mission AGAIN," Scope shouted to Lightning when he stopped looking at Sayni's body, he bit a small piece of bread and swallowed it then started to walk away making sure that Lightning followed him.

"You know Lightning? This war is kind of raw," Scope suddenly mumbled and pointed down the street where a hospital was. "That thing has been bombed down because there were a few SS soldiers," Scope said dryly and yawned, soon they saw Jetz, Janice, Speedy and Marlow, who had made today’s hero work, he killed one SS MG position mostly it was just luck.

Last SS attack tanks were now burning wrecks, crew members burning to death. Burning soldiers’ depart shouting will drive anyone near madness, it had happened to a few ones, they died from the MG fire.

Patrol team started to move out, houses had been burned down, and only some stone ones were still somehow standing.

Bullets drew beautiful lines when the machineguns fired, but those beautiful lights were dangerous ones, suddenly Sniper joined the patrol team.

"Hey you guys I think that I will join on this too," she said shyly to Jetz who nodded in agreement.

Suddenly they heard a high whistling sound. "Get Down! Mines!" Jetz commanded and jumped into a ditch, mines dropped onto the US line throwing some of the soldiers into the air, one of them started screaming, his stomach was ripped open and he tried holding his intestines in his arms. "MEDIC!" he screamed but it was useless, the nearest medic was lying on the ground exploded into several pieces. More mines dropped down near the US soldiers, most of them took cover and survived. One soldier shouted, grenade had ripped his face and arm off, he screamed, he didn't look human anymore. His friend gave him a merciful shot at his head, no one could help him anymore....

Soon the mine fire ended and the US revenged by sending 12 batteries of artillery fire at the SS stations, hell opened on there. One tank flew into the air and dropped back onto the ground, someone even said that one SS soldier flew into the air and dropped back down onto the ground.

"Life is hell especially in the army," Jetz growled and started to walk away taking his team on patrol, which isn't such a bad thing for a soldier.

The patrol had around 15 dogs- all that was left from the SE team plus reinforcements. Altogether they had lost close to 57 dogs…..

Jetz growled when he saw the Assault Team that had been burned with flamethrowers.

”Jetz…..” Speedy asked feeling a bit strange, Jetz turned his look on him. “Don’t worry son we will make it out from this war, and still alive,” he said to calm down the young soldier; he knew everyone else knew that this battle will cost several soldiers’ lives.

The patrol moved forwards, no one knew exactly where they were going, soon they heard maniac laughter and screaming that was horrible and desperate.

”What the hell is going on there?” Jetz asked Scope who was listening to these voices.

”I don’t know but I guess there is a nice battle going on…” Scope snapped and looked still towards the source of commotion.
When the patrol moved closer to these voices, they saw something horrifying. One SS female dog was under attack by three Red Wolf Squadron dogs. Those black uniforms exhibited horror and murdering, for everyone who saw it and the red howling wolf picture on their sides.

”Let’s see… Three Red Dogs are teasing that female,” Little Brother said while he looked at them.

The SS dog was pinned down, she tried protecting her pups which were almost newborn. The Red Dogs didn’t care what they were, they slapped the female and beat her badly and laughed, it was looked like a rape… But it wasn’t, that what they did was their rule ‘Kill everyone who belongs in the SSWD no mercy to them kill them all! They deserve to die before they have been born, no matter what their age is, kill them all!’ That was everyone’s rule and they had to work with it, even though it was bizarre and stupid to take a life from a dog who hadn’t even see it.

The SS dog was finally dead, and the Red Dogs threw her onto the ground and laughed. Then they threw her into a house what was burning.

”They thought to have a party,” Legion snapped. He wasn’t enjoying his view, no one liked it.

Soon the Red Dogs wanted to have fun with their orders, they started to kill the pups one by one in a really nasty way: they threw one pup into the flames, the pup yelped deadly- a horrifying scream- everyone lay down on the ground and put their paws over their ears to block out the pups’ screams.

”For God’s sake! Stop that!” Sniper shouted she was near the breaking point, and didn’t want to hear anything else.

The Red Dogs ripped one pup into pieces and laughed with each other about it and threw remaining pups into the flames.

”TEAM MOVE!” Jetz shouted he had taken enough of the screaming. Everyone followed him and attacked the Red Dogs. Legion cut one’s neck and Little Brother threw one into the flames. The last one tried escaping but he was bit to death.

”Try to avoid that!” Scope shouted to the dying soldier who tried to explain that it was their order to do so.

”If you hadn’t killed them like that we wouldn’t have attacked!” Sniper shouted at him and growled loudly.

The soldier didn’t answer anymore. He was dead, like many other dogs that had been in this war.

“This war is Hell!” Scope cursed and followed Jetz who was already walking away from the place, leaving the dead dogs.

As they walked they heard many battle sounds. They would not know that the SS had broken through the US lines and were trying to drive the US away from the town. Most of the SS tanks had been hidden, giving a too good chance to surprise the US. SS tanks smashed and killed soldiers, dogs and other humans.

Jetz sniffed the air and smelled gas.

”Damn somehow something is happening on the main line… I think that the enemy has crushed it,” he snapped and ran onto the side of the street for cover from the tanks that were coming soon.

Soon track sounds filled the air when tanks were chasing desperate soldiers who tried to get to safety. Madsen opened fire ripping one soldier in pieces; the one running next to him lost his head.

”Rennt ihr Soldaten! Ihr könnt nichts anderes machen!” The SS tank commander shouted from his tank while he smashed a few desperate soldiers under his tank’s tracks. He laughed when he heard death screams come from under his tank.

”Los Los Los!” One SS officer shouted but he hit the ground several Mg bullets in his stomach. Soon US started sending bullets, artillery and mines atop the SS force; hell was unleashed when tanks exploded in the battle.

The gun shot battle turned from a huge hand-to-hand combat which was hard- chopping, biting, screaming- all that was a merciless combat where soldiers would die without any mercy and no honor. Kill soldiers kill them all NO MERCY! Ran through the soldiers’ minds when they chopped the SS soldiers into pieces.

No one could watch that: humans and dogs killed themselves for some town and for a victory that is a great massacre…

Quiet clouds moved across the sky, it was quiet, really quiet. Kodi and his friends were getting ready to move to Antoria but no one didn’t know what was going on in there, war real war….

Thunder yawned, she was ready to go with the others, and everyone else was too.

The number of dogs for a team was 6, and the team coming was Balto’s one.


Balto, Kodi, Ralph, Kirby, Dusty, Thunder and another dog by the name of Hacke, also May, Ray and even Fang. They were jumping onto a typical Junkers model airplane.

”Whoa! Who thought that this thing, can carry us, all?” Kirby asked when he sat down on a seat.

”Don’t worry it can take our weight,” Ray said and sat down next to his sister.

The plane’s engine started and made some noise, others jumped onto the plane and waited till it would take off…

The trip towards Antoria had started….

The war against the SS had soon taken everyone’s heart; SS was now desperate and wanted to get something for the good…

The SS started to send propaganda to the US forces. They gave really strange and unbelievable promises.

”Let’s see what the SS will promise us tonight,” Scope said and licked his lips, he was hungry like always.

Soon one soldier started shouting something towards the US lines. “Hello my friends!” He started while he cleared his throat.

”Today was a horrible day! No one can say anything against it. Well the US has abandoned you all and they don’t care about this TOWN!” The voice shouted.

”Well I hope this will help you all battle tired soldiers will get some ideas from this offer! Well first we will get good food and good wine, Koskenkorva* Vodka… Everything that you want to have, good warm food and even cigars!” The voice kept shouting. (KoskenKorva is hard alcohol in Finnish)

”And for the best thing! A woman for everyone!! And good ones too, not normal looking I mean good looking and….” this kind of thing was filling whole quiet land.

”What kind of losers…” Jetz growled under his lips while he watched the SS line hoping that he would find something interesting there.

Soon they heard barking from the SS side, everyone raised their heads to see what was going on.

”Hey you guys! Did you think that those offers are only talking to human soldiers? Well it isn’t only for them it’s also for you guys too,” a dog shouted, it was a female officer.

”What do you want?!” Scope shouted at her, he wanted to get some information.

”We want to get more members in the great army of S.S.W.D,” the voice answered and started to send some information that sounded good.

Scope made a face when she shouted those things, he then looked back towards her. “What if we don’t come? Meaning that if you are cheating there and waiting that some US soldier will come to your side,” he shouted and everyone near him started giggling.

”We have everything that a dog could imagine! Food, water, good care and all that and even more!” she shouted from the SS line, soon they got up a play there. Every soldier- human and dog- raised their heads to see that.

SS soldiers were wearing US uniforms, one had a captain’s and one a general’s. “What will we do to our division three?” The soldier playing the captain asked the “general”.

”I don’t know… It is badly wiped out already just ignore them just told them to hold the line,” The “general” said to the “Cpt” who nodded his head in agreement, “Yes sir I will order them to do so,” he said and walked out from the ‘Room’. The “general” wiped something from his head and sighed, “Why everything is so hard?” He asked himself and started crying against the desk. The play was over.

Whole US line started shouting and applauded and clapped their hands and a few dogs howled. Helmets flew into the air while they shouted and clapped their hands, and those soldiers who played that walked onto the line and bowed to them and then disappeared behind their line.

”Whoa I’ve never seen that sort of things happen in war, it’s just an unbelievable thing!” Scope shouted while he howled into the air with the others.
Suddenly one captain started shouting orders, everyone was quiet and they cursed that captain under their breaths. Suddenly a sniper rifle fired. The captain grabbed his chest and shouted painfully and then hit the ground, and the celebration continued….

Night in Antoria was hell. Two soldiers were on night watch, even though it was summer it still was cold. They shivered while they were looking at the SS side. The second of these soldiers cursed and took out a cigar, first one smiled at him and offered fire for it. The second thanked him and lit his cigar and then looked at the SS line. A few seconds later a gunshot was heard and the soldier had a small hole in his forehead. The first one cursed it and took the cigar from the second’s mouth and started to smoke in a shelter. A few minutes later he was dead, he had been strangled by SS dogs who had smelled the cigar smoke- two soldiers had died for one cigar.

Scope and he others were not cursing. They had attacked a butcher’s shop and forted there. Everyone was eating everything that was there and having fun. First the butcher tried putting up some resistance- now he was lying on the street; dead.

”Hmmm… Good food! Nice find you two!” Jetz shouted to Little Brother and Scope who bowed as a thanks.

Soon machineguns opened hell and drew pearls on the open ground. Night attack. US tanks opened fire but a huge bunker- the second biggest- near the central yard opened fire with its several machineguns. The second huge bunker was on the outskirts of town. It was bigger than this first one which the US now faced. The artillery opened fire and the USAF attacked too, this time the US wanted to brake through the line. The first tanks exploded and everyone near them died. Soon the US had made it to the first stations. Flamethrowers sent deadly flame showers atop the SS and US soldiers.

Humans and dogs started screaming desperately when this deadly flame hit them. They became alive running thoraces. Screaming filled the air when close combat started.

”Kill them!” One soldier shouted when he sunk his rifle bayonet into a SS soldier’s stomach. Almost all the US soldiers had a Springfield rifle and a few ones had the new Thompson model.
”Tötet sie alle im Namen eures Herren und haltet eure Positionen!” One SS officer shouted and laughed when he cut one soldier’s throat open with his knife.

The SS forces started to flee towards the huge factory; the central yard was now under USA command. US forces started to follow the SS but huge machinegun fire from the factory stopped them and forced them to retreat. From the bunker the firing turned towards the soldiers, many fell. The US forces started building a better defense but they lost many men for it.

Aleksi ran into the butcher’s shop and saw that Jetz’s team was settling down. All food that they had found was gone almost.

”What kind of pigs are in here?” he shouted to Jetz who raised his look to Aleksi.

”We are here just recovering our energy sir,” he said while he stood up and saluted to him raising his paw high on his chest.

”OK but now get out of here to the front line everything has changed now! The SS forces have forted themselves in a steel factory and are posing DAMN much resistance because of that damn bunker!” Aleksi shouted and left the dogs to lay lazily on the ground.

”Well, good that he is gone!” Scope shouted and rolled onto his back, he was full, he had eaten really much.

”Well I know nice story want to hear?” he suddenly asked his team mates who perked their ears to tell Scope “go ahead”.

”Well I talked with one veteran, he was belonging in AW* forces, you know them don’t you?” Scope asked before he continued (*Anti-Wolf Squadron found because some wolves have joined in SSWD and they are destroying MSDF and other teams, this squadron’s main duty is to keep wolves in peace and to kill for a warning)

”Well they have heard that one pack have been really nasty towards US army and kill many young dog soldiers, well since they didn’t like from it they send a squad to wipe it out. One division started to move towards that pack what were living inside a mountain, man! those soldiers were having problems to attack in, well they didn’t do so, they smoke them out, they threw many smoke grenades in the cave and guarded every enter,” Scope said and swallowed a small piece of sausage, “then wolves ran out from the cave because they didn’t get any air, and what was the funniest thing for soldiers was that they blocked the enters, by collapsing the whole roof on ground, and then they threw more grenades in. Well wolves didn’t get any air and they didn’t have no way to escape, poor bastards, none of them didn’t made out from there, and the number was something 30 and pups something 21 just passed mating season for few months,” Scope explained and everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

”Well that is stupid to join the SS side; they maybe thought that a huge cave would protect them, but it was a death lock,” Jetz said and looked around him. The whole house were they were resting had collapsed already.

”Yeah, funnier thing is that they didn’t even give any bits to MSDF, that who was leading that squadron is really good tactical leader,” Scope continued and swallowed another piece of sausage.

”Town wipes, pack hunts, massacres is this the way how war will be won?” Janice asked from the corner, and didn’t want to look stupid.

”Unfortunately yes, that is the way how this war will be won,” Jetz said peacefully like always then he rose on his fours and pointed everyone to follow him. He headed towards the new line…

On their way they heard a scream, it wasn’t new for these soldiers and they didn’t mind doing anything about it. But then they heard several gun shots and a Browning 50. Cal opened fire.

”Something nice is going on again…” Jetz said, he always would smell troubles.

”I hope that the SS haven’t started another attack,” Scope snapped and continued chewing a small piece of bread. No one could say why he isn’t fat and lazy because he ate so much. It was somehow strange; he ate almost all the time if he got a chance to do so.

Suddenly the artillery opened massive fire towards the SS line. Different grenades hit there throwing ground into the air and cleaning all the life forms away. The whole factory which consisted of steel and other construction materials was wavering under the hard artillery fire. The bunker took many hits but didn’t mind to collapse.

”Why don’t those buildings get destroyed?” Speedy asked Elizabeth who has been with them since the start but she has never said a thing.

”I don’t know Speedy… It is just a too huge and strong building,” she said under her lips, her muzzle was also full of dry blood and same was her uniform and paws. Not one dog was clean- they were filthy soldiers right now and nonetheless- they hadn’t seen clean water since they arrived to Antoria. They smelled like burnt flesh, raw meat and other dirt that lay on Antoria’s field.

Suddenly they heard attack sounds. Under heavy artillery fire US and MSDF army charged against the SS line. The bunker that contained four Hotchkiss machineguns opened fire. Soldiers started falling onto the ground. One of the soldiers’s got a huge number of bullets into his stomach soon he was cut into two pieces. He screamed as he saw his legs running without the rest of his body.

One dog team was being lead by a female Lieutenant, she shouted commands to her team. The night was even darker than it should be because of the smoke. She led her team towards a wall of the first factory. Soon Hotchkiss machineguns aimed at her team and started to clean the street, several of those dogs died. The Lieutenant took cover behind a collapsed wall and same did the two remaining dogs from her team- the others were laying on the street killed by the SS.

”I guess someone needs help over there,” Scope said with sarcasm and waved his paw to show where they had to move.

”C’mon you bastards! Before SS will burn your butts!” Scope shouted and laughed at them while machineguns killed the remaining two dogs while they tried getting to their stations.

Only the female Lieutenant made it back to the line. She didn’t look so good- covered in blood, dirt and dust that the others were carrying too.

”What’s up?” Scope asked her while she growled about her team’s loss.

”None of your things, private!” She said to him and growled, showing her fangs.

”There is no use to threaten Scope Ltd,” Jetz said to calm them down with his peaceful voice.

Both of them sighed in relief. She then looked towards Jetz. “Are you the leader of this team?” she asked without telling anything about herself.

”I won’t answer your questions if you don’t tell us who you are,” Jetz said straight, he made clear that he was a tough soldier and not a normal Sgt.

”My name is Rika second leader of the M.S.D.F Squadron 8 and the only survivor right now, rank Lieutenant,” she said and nodded in agreement.

Jetz made a small smile and nodded to her. “Very well Aleksi is this team’s leader, we are the Silver Eagle Squadron 8,” he said looking at her collar that held her rank and name.

”Interesting but I still haven’t gotten your name,” she said a bit sarcastically.

”Sergeant Jetz,” Jetz answered with a sigh. He really didn’t like these sort of officers but he wasn’t so sure if she was just in shock because of her team’s loss.

Somewhere on the field someone was calling a medic, everyone was ignoring it.

”Well nice to meat err… Jetz… Sorry for that start but I feel bit different because I’m the only survivor of my team…” she said showing some embarrassment.

”No worry, Ma’am everyone will feel that when it will happen, sorry for your team, this is all what I have also, all officers area dead expect Derag and Aleksi. I just hope that we will more reinforcements soon otherwise we are doomed,” Jetz explained to her, showing the whole situation.

”I see… Three teams have been taken off already, they couldn’t stand this war and they left the town,” Rika said and took a piece of bread that Scope offered her.

”Interesting that you have this much food… Other teams are suffering hunger and they are all thirsty,” she said, and explained how the other teams were hanging.

”There are no supplies coming for a while. The US forces want to throw the SSWD out from this town and fast,” Legion suddenly said, he was a small dog the same size as the female. Dirty, bloody, a desert soldier who had faced the Foreign Legion.

”Well who knows Corporal… We aren’t in good strength anymore, we can’t sleep well either. Our strength has diminished,” Rika said to Legion who nodded his head in agreement.

Everyone was quiet now. The night was still holding everything in darkness. Only battle sounds only battle sounds kept the whole town alive.

Suddenly they heard screams; it was a battle that was on. The SS attack broke the whole silence by attacking the US line with tanks. Thanks to the good leaders the AT-Guns were still in their old stations.

”Where the hell are the Anti-Tank-Guns?” One soldier screamed when he saw tanks approaching their stations. One dog soldier who wasn’t so lucky flew onto the road because of a pressure wave of a grenade and screamed deadly when a tank drove over him.

The soldiers started using grenades and started to through them towards the tanks. Mostly it was useless because the tanks were AV7 SS model tanks that had machineguns for every direction. Soldiers fled their stations and others soon went into panic and followed them. This time the help came from the Aicro D. H. 4 attack planes that came and dropped their bombs onto the tanks destroying most of them. The SS tanks opened fire while they were forced to retreat.

The last soldiers were commanded back and the AT-Guns came onto the new line too and opened fire towards the fleeing tanks. None of these attacking tanks escaped.

”Poor bastards…” Rika said while she looked at those tank wrecks which were blocking the road and burning. A few of the tanks’ crews made it out but were shot when they got out from their tanks. Screaming was heard from a tank that was burning. It wasn’t a SS model AV7 that had good armor. It was a normal sized and easily destroyed one with an AT-MG, which had been used against it. The crew members were screaming inside the tank when it flamed up in fire. No one got out from there.

Suddenly Little Brother and Salama came back from their small patrol and they threw an SS soldier in front of them. He was young and badly frightened.

”Look what we found,” Little Brother said proudly, he was the one who had caught the soldier.

”Sad so young,” Jetz said sarcastically and giggled while he watched the SS soldier.

"Tötet mich nicht! Ich hasse SS! Lasst mich gehen, bitte!” The soldier shouted desperately and tried fighting against Little Brother who threw him against a wall. “SHUT UP!” Jetz shouted at him.

”Ich hab' nichts getan! Lasst mich gehen!” SS soldier said desperately and looked towards Jetz who had shouted at him.

Then he suddenly bit Salama’s leg. Salama yelped, then he slapped the desperate husky across the face. “Turpa kiinni saatanan pikku piru!” he shouted at him and slapped him across the face again. The SS dog yelped again and moved closer to the wall.

” Helft mir Freunde! Hollt mich hier raus! Antwortet doch!” The SS dog shouted and tried to howl but always he got slapped across the face.

”HILFE!” he shouted with his all energy into the air, but this time Salama’s slap made him fall into dreamland.

”That’s better, he wont wake the whole area at least now,” he said to the others and spit onto the SS dog’s mottled brown uniform.

”Well no one will help him, anyway,” Scope said dryly and nudged the unconscious dog.

”A good SS dog is a dead SS dog,” Little Brother preached; he was in a philosophical mode.

”You are right,” Scope said behind Little Brother, “That SS dog will just waist our time and food,” Scope shouted and protected his bag that was full of sausages, dry meat and other good food.

Kat snapped something and slapped the SS dog’s face gently to wake him. Soon the soldier shook his head, but this time he didn’t start that desperate screaming again, he finally understood that no one would help him. Kat gave him a small piece of bread and sat down making sure that he wouldn’t get away or escape.

”Danke…” Soldier said while he started to chew the piece of bread.

”I will take the first watch on him,” Trase said while he walked up next to Kat and gestured her to go sleep.

”OK thanks,” Kat said and walked to a good place where she could take a nap. The others had already settled down, and were preparing to capture Antoria…

Somewhere on their way towards the land of war……

The airplane had been flying many hours already. It took some more time since the plane had gotten engine problems and they were force to land and repair the engine that had token a lot of time. Now it was night again.

”I guess we will get there by morning,” Ray said to Thunder who look towards the mountains, they still heard artillery fire that was drumming Antoria, the town where Ray and May live.

”You hear those?” Kodi suddenly asked Ray who was looking towards the direction where the artillery fires were coming from.

”Yes I can… That is bothering me too, in that direction lays my hometown… I don’t know what those sounds are but… I hope that nothing bad is happening,” Ray said and sighed sadly, he then looked towards the sound source. Suddenly they heard the sounds of an engine. An Aicro D. H 4 Squadron flew over them with its massive engine noise. Behind it came Handley Page V/1500 bombers- all heading towards Antoria.

”I have seen these planes here everyday,” one mechanic said to Ray’s owner who was the second only human on this trip.

”What do you mean?” Ray’s owner who’s name was Jack asked the mechanic.

”These kinds of planes have been flying over this field all the time, who knows where they are going but I think that it isn’t practice flying. They have been flying for already two days, this is the third day,” the mechanic explained and showed those planes, telling something about them.

Balto and Fang had stayed near the plane, they didn’t have anything to do right now.

The others were playing on the ground and sniffing the area, it was a small town where they had landed.

”I hope that I will soon see my hometown again!” May said and smiled to the others who were near by.

”I think that it would be FUN!” Kodi said and shook his fur.

”Yeah I guess it would be! And we are all on that trip!” Dusty shouted and jumped like a little pup.

”No one would leave these kinds of opportunities alone!” Ralph shouted, soon they started to talk about what kind of town Antoria was.

Soon they heard when an airplane flew really close to the land, behind it were two others.

”What the hell is going on?” Jack asked the mechanic who jumped behind a barrel.

”They are coming again!” he shouted while he did that.

Soon machineguns opened fire and drummed the plane that was chased by two Albatross model fighters. Aicro D. H 4 couldn’t take such huge numbers of bullets and soon the engine stopped and smoke started coming out of it.

”Ouh my god!” Balto said when he lay down onto the ground.

The Aicro crashed into the forest and exploded in a thousand pieces, there was nothing left of it anymore…

Two Albatross planes made circles in the air to show others that they are winners.

”Damn idiots!” The mechanic shouted after those planes and shook his hand.

”What was that all about? That pilot got killed!” Jack shouted while he looked towards the burning plane wreck.

”I’m sorry this has happened a few times before…” mechanic said and cleaned his hands on a piece of cloth.

”Your plane is ready to take off soon,” he said and walked away again to fix Jack’s plane…

”How long will it take?” Jack asked the mechanic who shook his head. “I don’t know,” he said straight.

”Well I guess we have to stay here until the whole plane is fixed,” Jack sighed and walked back to the motel…

Antoria:

The morning sun was rising from behind the mountains, dropping some sunlight on the silhouette of the badly burned and destroyed town that has been in war now for three days. Casualties had risen in huge numbers for both sides. There have been taken three divisions of the Dogs and each of them usually had more than three teams that had around 36 dogs.

The whole street smelled like burnt flesh, and the wind was carrying it to the lines. Rats had come too, and they were always eating the numerous dead bodies.

No one could stand that smell, it was awful and those rats were nasty looking creatures.

”Yak! Those rats have stolen my food again!” Scope shouted and killed one rat by snapping its neck.

He and the others cursed those rats. More had come with new corpses and now there were too many of them.

Little Brother and Scope had been killing these rats for several hours. Rika who had taken the squad under her control was cursing after them. Kat who had taken a distance like usual was quiet.

No one said a thing. The bunker that was still under SS control was going to be coming down soon- the US would make sure of this.

Soon they heard screaming coming from inside the factory. The SS human soldiers where beating one desperate dog with rifle butts. The victim was screaming, it was desperate screaming, no one could make that kind of scream if he or she wasn’t in deathly fear. This soldier was, he screamed for help, his mother, his father, brothers, medic what ever he somehow got into his mind. Kat covered her ears with her paws, she didn’t want to hear that screaming.

”Leave that dog alone!” One US human soldier shouted over the wall where the SS was holding their station, last station was on the last huge factory which was covered with a wall and a huge bunker, but this one was covered only with a small fence.

"Halt die Schnauze! Steck deine Nase nicht in andere Angelegenheiten!" A voice shouted from the factory and the desperate dog soldier continued screaming.

“Leave that DOG ALONE!” Desperate human soldier shouted and threw his helmet that hit the fence, only thing what they heard was when the SS soldier’s dog and human ones started to laugh.

No one didn’t care about the US soldier, who was crying now, soon he started to run towards the factory. Three soldiers tried stopping him but they didn’t succeed in doing so. The soldier ran onto the street towards the factory, four Hotchkiss machineguns turned their pipes and shot that running soldier into pieces. The soldier screamed deadly when bullets drummed his body and he fell onto the ground where an MG still fired at him so long that he was in pieces.

MSDF dog’s screams started again, no one cared so much about it but the screaming was horrible. No one knew that one dog could scream and yelp so.

”Someone GET ME OUT OF HERE AHHH!” Dog shouted from factory, “MOTHER!” was second then only sadly yelping and crying, “HELP ME!” were heard too.

”For GOD’S SAKE STOP THAT!” Janice shouted to the factory and heard the SS dogs starting to howl. Scope growled loudly, he couldn’t stand that howling and that yelping of pain. He then looked towards the SS prisoner who at once understood what Scope had in his mind.

”Nicht! Don’t touch me!” He tried saying in poor English, he tried to growl for self-defense but couldn’t do it, he retreated against the wall and closed his eyes.

”You have any idea what your friends are doing over there?” Scope asked him and slapped him across the face. The SS dog yelped and tried to growl, but just got another slap.

Little Brother and a few others attacked the poor SS dog slapping, hurting, and beating him, he started screaming in German and howled in pain.

”FOR GOD’S SAKE DON’T TO THAT!” Jetz shouted as hard as he could to his team and they stopped beating the poor SS dog, who was whining in huge pain that they had caused to him. Sniper walked up next to him and gave him water, water she had gotten from an old fountain.

The SS dog didn’t say anything he whined and thanked in his poor English and tried to stand but couldn’t do so.

From the factory came the sound of a lone gun shot, this time the dog didn’t scream anymore, he had been beaten out of his life with rifle butts and a shot for making sure that he was dead…

”At least they killed him…” Jetz said and sighed deeply, he didn’t like to see or hear when someone was being tortured.

”War is hell!” Scope shouted and spit onto the SS dog that retreated against a collapsed wall tail between his legs.

”Fass mich nicht an, du Schwein!” SS dog shouted and whined about his wounds.

”What do you want? Huh? Do I have to kill you? Answer, Idiot!” Scope shouted at him and growled bearing his fangs to show that he might do so if someone would tease him right now.

The SS dog swallowed something and lay down showing respect towards Scope.

”That’s better YOU Schwein!” Scope shouted to him and then lay down to watch the street. The attack would come soon and everyone knew it…

Soon the artillery opened fire and threw hot iron onto the factory, some pieces flew into the air, and then the US forces attacked. The SS dog that had imprisoned was slapped unconscious, so that he wouldn’t come to his senses for a while. He was locked into a basement.

The US forces ran towards the Hotchkiss fire, a bullet wave killed many of them but the US forces ignored it. Tanks gave covering fire by shooting at the bunker. The factory windows were shot and broken.

”OK men let’s move out!” One officer shouted and the whole team started screaming when they attacked the factory. They didn’t care about the SS fire, they just ran towards the factory, it was one of the last defending points that the SS had, the last one being the Tank Factory.

Jetz and the others ran towards the bunker and got onto the wall, they all gasped, they were out of breath because of that run.
”Ok guys we have to get inside that factory!” Aleksi said, he had joined this mission, so had Rika.

”I guess we have to find one way…” Rika said and sighed deeply, she looked around the corner to see what was going on, a wave of bullets interrupted her.

”Well that way we can’t go! There are more than two machineguns!” she shouted and shook her head.

”I guess we have to attack NOW!” Jetz shouted, when a tank rolled over a SS machinegun station, behind that tank was the infantry and soon Jetz’s team joined it.

A Hotchkiss exploded with its team when the tank fired with a Madsen cleaning the whole barricade. The infantry shouted and jumped against the SS soldiers who started to fight against them. Soon the first ones where down and the attack continued.

Suddenly two flamethrowers sent deadly fire breaths towards the soldiers who started screaming when the flames swallowed their bodies for a while. After the flame they started to run around- living lights.

”Team move out!” One officer shouted when a grenade cleaned some of the factory road to its side. Another barricade stopped the attack, but a tank fired and the machinegun with its crew flew into the air and dropped down on the ground.

”Medic, MEDIC!” One soldier shouted. He tried to get help from the front soldier’s best friend- a soldier who carried a red cross on his hand and on his helmet, a soldier who is calm and brave. But no one of this description came to help him, he realized that he wouldn’t make it from the stomach hit. He felt the hot bullet burning his intestines, he started to scream when he was sitting in the middle of the road, and nobody cared. He didn’t leave and soon a US tank drove over him, no one still cared…

”GO GO GO!” One soldier shouted while he ran forwards, soon they arrived at the last barricade. This time the US light engineer squadron threw grenades and burned that station with the flamethrower burning everyone from there. The road leading into the factory was now open.

The whole yard was now clean and also the tunnel that lead inside the bunker that had been cleaned from enemies. The wounded soldier who had been crushed under own tank was just in the tunnel. Jetz and his team was the first dog squadron inside the factory, it was horrible to fight in between steam engines.

”OK listen up guys! We have to brake through that DAMN SS barricade over there!” One SGT said and pointed at the SS barricade that lay in the direction, he then patted Jetz’s head.

”This dog team will do it; they are fast enough and small enough to get near those damn machineguns!” The Sgt continued and sighed when bullets drummed metal near him.

”OK boy, I count on you, we will give covering fire while someone will get that DAMN barricade out!” The soldier shouted and patted Scope’s head then gave to him a bag; everyone knew that that bag would throw that whole station in the air.

”You will take it Speedy!” Scope shouted and threw that bag to Speedy who mumbled something against it, but a few curses made him ready to attack that barricade.

The barricade which was the last thing inside the factory was located inside a room where everyone would barge in.

”Poor guys… Those who have succeeded to get deeper into this hell! They are in deep trouble if we don’t get this barricade away, we need to help them!” Sgt continued when Speedy walked away and looked towards the barricade, that he had to destroy.

The Sgt was right for some parts- a few teams had succeeded to get inside the factory- those who had broken through the wall.

Speedy started running when the US soldiers opened fire by shouting that the fire cost a few ones’ lives, but Speedy made it to get behind roof pieces that had collapsed against the ground under heavy artillery fire. Speedy panted heavily from fear and exhaustion, he took a deep breath and then ran again towards the SS line, and he succeeded to avoid flying bullets that buzzed like nasty bees around him. He jumped behind a roof part again and this time he was really close to the SS line. Soon something dropped next to him- it was a German stick grenade. He gasped while he pushed it so that it rolled farther away from him, it exploded and jammed his ears. Speedy started running again towards the SS line, one bullet scratched his helmet and made him fall to the ground, where he lost his consciousness for a while. The helmets weren’t so good for dogs, the one who made them wasn’t such a wise guy. The helmets were not the same like for humans, they have been built to fit dogs’ heads better than human ones. They just hang on the head and will drop really easily like Scope said one day, “Useless crap! Dog’s can only use it for one thing! For food and water bowl!” The only harness was loose. It just held the helmet onto the head and allowed the soldier to hang it against the side where a small hook was located.

Speedy came to his senses and found himself next to the line. He looked at the wooden boxes that built up this barricade, shook his head and put the bag in side one box that was already broken. He pulled the rope out and heard when the grenade started making a noise, a noise that will mean death. Speedy rose on his fours and started to run like the devil- he himself was behind himself. Soon the whole station exploded sending everything what was near it into the air. The SS soldiers died at once, none of them made it. Speedy flew against a wall, his helmet drop dropped next to him. He gasped in pain. He had lost his consciousness again.

He soon woke up on a soft and warm lick. He opened his eyes and saw that he wasn’t in the same place anymore, he was in a corner near the entrance to a work room, where all the steam engines stood. He looked around for the giver of the licks, he saw Janice, “C’mon Speedy there is no time to lay right now!” She shouted then ran inside the work room, Speedy shook his head for a while then ran in after her. SS soldiers where already dead in the work room, there was nothing left, only corpses.

”SS have been destroyed from here! Clear!” A voice shouted from the second floor where the teams had attacked. Now only the basement and the huge bunker were left.

”The Dog Squadron can take the basement!” An officer shouted and ran towards the stairs shouting when he let his Thompson sing towards soldiers who had almost reached the 1^st level, they were shot down soon.

”OK team move out,” the officer shouted and threw a few grenades in, other US soldiers came up next to him and when the grenades exploded they ran inside shooting and shouting curses at the SS soldiers.

Jetz followed them and found that the whole attacking squad was lying on the stairs- dead, the stairs were rolling ones.

”Ouh god they didn’t make it this far,” Jetz said under his lips then ran down, and attacked with others against the SS soldiers who rose their guns but too late, Marlow this time attacked behind Jetz and hit against a machine gunner who screamed when Marlow hit him. Soon the SS soldiers were dead and more US soldiers ran down the stairs towards the basement.

The basement was cold and dark like it should be, there was no sign of SS soldiers, soon from the upper level where heard word “Clean!” Nobody knew for sure if this factory was clean from SS soldiers. US soldiers walked around, one of them turned on a flashlight, checking around, but the basement was quiet. But no one counted on the fact that the SS hadn’t armed it…

”I guess this is clean…” One officer said but when he turned his back one SS man attacked him and stabbed him with a rifle bayonet. The soldier was an expert and raised the bayonet a bit to rip the officer’s stomach open. Soon more SS soldiers attacked, shooting and shouting, Scope pulled a small rope out of a grenade and dropped it onto the ground then pushed it so that it rolled towards the SS men. They didn’t notice the rolling grenade and it exploded in their midst killing many of them.

Last ones who were still alive faced dogs’ fangs and the US soldiers’ bullets and knives. The whole fight was soon over, the whole factory was clean.

”Is it end?” Speedy asked Aleksi who padded into view from behind a corner. Speedy was more interested in the steel factory. They were now in the first sector of the steam engine factor. There were many engines mostly working with steam, also a few new ones that were electric.

”No, it isn’t even close to the end, last tank factory is still on. The attack destroyed this, but this one is pretty clean right now, mostly this was an abandoned one. The SS have forted inside that DAMN factory, and it has a better defense than this one. A bigger bunker, middle of it and it has all the directions to everywhere. It is mostly going through that factory, braking it into two sectors, but it will protect factor from both sides….” Aleksi explained, and sighed deeply. “And there are still street fights on.”

”Damn, sounds that we will do again work,” Scope growled and leaned against a steam engine.

”Yep we have to!” Aleksi said under his lips then walked away, mumbling something under his breath, he wanted to leave this cursed town, but no one could succeed in doing so, unless they wanted to be executed.

Soon the dog team settled down, they needed to rest before attacking the second factory. It was much bigger than the first one.

”You know guys, have you heard anything from Finland?” Scope suddenly asked, he liked to usually tease Lightning because he knew that he is a Finnish fanatic and Legion is French…

”Hey!” Lightning said when he rose on his fours.

"I don't want to hear any offence to Finland! If I will… I will tear the offender’s throat!" Salama shouted at Scope who retreated a few steps.

”And same thing for him or her who will dare say anything about France!” Legion said, and growled at Scope as well.

”OK OK I was just joking around,” Scope said and giggled a while. He then spat atop the SS dog who had curled up against the wall, they were in the same place right now.

”Good and make sure that you are JUST joking,” Lightning added and growled, then lay down.

Soon the artillery opened fire only God’s knows how many times already. Grenades hit near the factory and the surrounding area. Stone, ground, soldiers flew in the air when the massive strike started, most of the fire hit around the factory.

”Soon the SS will get bullets in their butts,” Little Brother explained when he heard those massive canons fire, he wasn’t scared, only new ones were. That is always the problem- fear.

”I hope that the team is ready to attack!” Jetz shouted while the whole team started walking towards the last station…

When team arrived to the factory, was fire flew everywhere. Hotchkiss machineguns were sending hot bullets towards the US soldiers who were trying to attack. They finally broke through the SS first defense line, a huge wall.

”OK attack team!” Officer shouted and shot a whole mag at an SS soldier who showed his head.

Teams attacked and threw ropes to get over the wall, everyone was giving covering fire, soldiers fell onto the ground when the SS fired. Soon a huge hand-to-hand combat took place on the wall.

Engineers made the gate explode. Then tanks and other vehicles drove into the yard. The SS shot with everything they had- Hotchkiss, mine-throwers, Madsen, canons- whatever they got in their hands.

”Zurück Soldaten, sie stürzen durch unsere Stationen!” SS officer succeeded to shout before a MSDF dog attacked him.

Soon the SS soldiers were forced inside the factory and opened fire from the windows and holes that the factory had in its walls.

”Fire in the hole!” One soldier shouted and threw a ‘happy bag’ inside the factory through a small hole. The explosion threw a few soldiers out the windows.

The SS opened fire again.

Soon the SE team arrived by the factory. Jetz checked the situation and said that it is bad. “Listen guys this sounds like a bad thing for us, I guess we have to take out that bunker before we will attack against those factory walls, SS have made a real fortress from that damn factory…” Aleksi shouted when he jumped next to Jetz and ripped a small piece of sausage which he had been carrying in his mouth.

”Well? How we can do it?” Rika asked a bit sarcastically, she didn’t want to do this sort of suicide attack against the SS line.

”Well the US soldiers will make a hole in that damn door, then we and them will rush inside it and clear it! Simple,” Aleksi explained to the team, and this time he was part of it.

”Yeah one problem Aleksi... There are only a few ones left from us…” Scope said suddenly. He pointed at the soldiers, who were left: Jetz, Salama, Legion, Elizabeth, Speedy, Sniper, Janice, Scope, Little Brother, Rika, Katchi, Marlow, Trase and a SS soldier.

Aleksi sighed, he noticed that Scope was saying the truth, he looked at his old SE team that usually consisted of 30 dog soldiers; now only 13 plus he himself were left.

”I understand Scope but there aren’t any reinforcements left for us…” he explained and looked at the SS dog who moved again close to the collapsed wall, he had always done so.

”Who is he?” Aleksi asked with huge sarcasm.

”No one has asked it, he is nameless for us,” Little Brother said snapping close to the SS dog who yelped in fear.

”Stupid coward!” Little Brother said proudly.

”Why is he still alive?” Aleksi snapped and looked at Jetz.

”No one knows…” Jetz said and watched Scope and Little Brother throw the SS dog onto the ground and started taking his uniform off. “He will fart cold today!” Scope shouted and laughed, he wanted to kill him, in a different style…

Soon when they get the uniform out they put one dead dog soldiers MSDF uniform to him, SS dog screamed deadly when he realized how they are going to kill him…

”Bitte machen sie das nicht! Lasst mich gehen, oh Unterfeldwebel bitte bitte lassen Sie es sie nicht machen!” The SS dog shouted, when the MSDF uniform was put atop of him, he screamed something in German trying to get away from Little Brother’s and Scope’s grasp.

Jetz just watched as Scope and Little Brother threw the SS dog onto the street in open view of the machineguns. They opened fire at once. The SS soldier screamed in pain when he was killed by his own side…

”Amen!” Scope shouted when he heard silence again. The SS dog was still alive, he whined in pain moving a bit on the ground. He tried to scream but blood filled his mouth and he spit it out. “Hilfe!” he shouted, and moved a bit so that everyone could see it. The SS fire started again and ripped his body so long till he was almost in pieces…

”Now it is done!” Scope shouted and jumped from happiness like a young pup, he wanted to do something, but Aleksi stopped his thoughts and shouted that the others had to follow him. The attack would start right now!

Soldiers got ready. When a flare would fly into the air they would attack. Engineers held their weapons and explosives near them all the time.

Soon a red and white flare flew into the air and soon every soldier shouted and started attacking the bunker and factory. The wall that had been captured was left behind, soldiers faced hell when bullets flew near their heads.

The engineers stopped next to a small tough metal door which was on the bunker’s side where they planted explosives. The dog team and a few human soldier teams were ready to attack the bunker. The engineers were having small problems with machinegun fire, but it was mostly useless, so it was ignored. When they were ready they started moving away from the door. They grabbed the launch box and chapels with them. The only thing that would have to be done was to pull the crank down.

Suddenly when the engineers were ready to move out, one soldier got hit in his forehead. He fell atop the launch box, making the crank hit the bottom. The soldiers screamed when the door exploded. Pieces flew all over the factory’s yard…

”Amen!” Scope shouted and everyone ran inside the bunker. Those who continued attacking the factory continued their charge!

The human team was the first team inside the bunker, they shot while they ran. Grenades flew inside the bunker, rooms exploded, and soldiers were cleaned one by one. The factory was a harder place. MG and soldiers were on it so that there was pure hell going on…

Dog soldiers where pointed to go and clear the shooting area. Jetz started leading his team. They ran up and down stairs till they finally arrived on the last level of the bunker. There were three ways, one lead to an ammunition room, one lead to a sleeping room, the middle way lead to the shooting area. They attacked the shooting area where was a clear shooting view on the factory yard and the streets…

Blood flew from soldiers who were surprised from the attack. Speedy and the others attacked with huge power, Marlow was also with them. He bit a soldier’s stomach but didn’t get a good grab on it. He got a SS soldier’s rifle butt in his face.

”Damn!” He shouted while he was laying on the ground trying to get back into the real world. Suddenly a grenade exploded inside the bunker. A US soldier had thrown it into the bunker, then other soldiers threw grenades into other rooms also, cleaning them one by one…

Blood had stained the walls and screams were heard. The SE team was badly in shock, they didn’t hear anything after that grenade. When they got their ears back the bunker was halfway under US control. Outside in the yard soldiers had been pinned down by several machineguns…

”Come on Team towards the factory!” One Ltd shouted to his soldiers and shot a whole drum mag around a small room cleaning it, his Thompson giving off smoke. He and the others followed him towards the factory.

Soldiers arrived behind a door, an officer tried to kick it but before he succeed to do so an MP18 let a bullet wave through it into his chest, he died fast. Other soldiers shot through the door then rushed through it. Soon another hand-to-hand combat started again, this time most of the soldiers started to shoot SS machinegun positions to get machineguns quiet and it helped a lot.

But suddenly one of the Lewis shooters turned his machinegun towards the fighting team and opened fire. One of these bullets sunk into Rika’s shoulder, she screamed deadly and hit the ground whining about her wound. Kat grabbed her by her uniform and pulled her to cover. The soldier who had used the Lewis was shot and he dropped from the third level which was the highest level in the steam engine. Soon the US soldiers arrived at the doors of the factory.

”C’mon my friends up to the roof!” An officer shouted, he shot three SS soldiers and ran with his men who shot around him to protect their brave leader, one of the soldiers was carrying a USA flag with him.

Soldiers shouted to encourage those soldiers while they ran inside the factory. The first one who was carrying the flag got hit in his stomach, the second grabbed the flag. “GO GO GO!” Soldiers shouted from the third level they were running down.

Soon the whole first room was captured; soldiers with the flag made it to the top of the factory roof. A soldier slapped the flag onto the roof and shouted, “THIS TOWN IS OURS!” He waved the flag around on the roof, everyone shouted and threw their helmets into the air, and Antoria was under USA control again.

”VICTORY!!!” All soldiers shouted together, the battle was finally over…

Down in the basement the leader who was leading the army of Antoria, wiped his forehead with a white cloth. He then sent the last transmission. Then he looked towards the SSWD flag, and saluted, he heard when the US soldiers rushed towards his room in the basement. “They can take my body but never my soul!” he shouted and looked at his Nagan pistol that he had gotten from a Russian officer in WWI.

”Es wird nichts machen wenn ich sterbe! Ich werde für den Führer und für die neue Zukunft sterben!” he shouted and put the Nagan’s pipe to his mouth and fired. The leader of Antoria was now dead and the battle of Antoria had ended. The bloody massacre was now over finally, even the sun came out from behind the clouds to clean the whole town of darkness…

The war was over now, but somewhere a plane landed near the town that gave off large amounts of smoke. The passengers of the plane didn’t notice this while they landed.

”Ok here we are,” Jack said and stretched himself when he jumped out from the plane. He watched the dogs who one by one jumped out from the plane. The town was still burning. Jack looked towards it and got a bad shock. He started running in the direction of the town.

”Ouh my god what has happened here!” he shouted while he ran…

Balto looked after Jack and then the others, then he looked back after Jack and saw the smoke…

”Ouh my god the town is on fire!” He shouted then started to run towards the town too…

In Antoria the Dog Team faced a problem. The SS had fled the town, but this time, it was wounded dogs…

”Sir we can’t just leave them here, there must be a way how we could take them to care…” One officer said to a second. The problem was that there were not enough trucks to transport the dog soldiers and the human soldiers…

”I know I know but there is no other way… I will send a transmission to the nearest town called Nome, the second team will go to White Mountain. I’m sorry but the dogs have to take care of the wounded ones themselves and try to get them to the vet’s…” The officer answered and cleaned his forehead for a while.

”Sir… We have to take at least some of them… They will die!” He shouted at the first officer who ignored him. The first one then turned and grabbed for the second and raised him in the air.

”Listen Captain! I’m doing my best and there is NO room for soldiers for God’s sake can’t you understand that all the trucks are full of wounded soldiers?” He shouted at him then threw him on the ground.

”I have only gotten half the team able for transport that’s all what I can do for dogs they have to walk to Nome to survive,” he added then started walking away…

Aleksi heard what those two officers were talking about, he sighed and saluted when General Derag came into view. He knew that they both had a ride, but the others didn’t.

”You don’t have to salute to me Aleksi,” Derag said and sighed, “Dog soldiers have to walk to Nome… There is no other way no vets no ride….” he added and sat down and sighed.

”Derag? We two have a ride… But those soldiers… We have fought with them and died, why can’t we walk too?” Aleksi suddenly suggested but Derag only shook his head.

”I know Aleksi, soldiers will walk now c’mon our ride will leave soon…” And with those words Derag left the whole team, so did Aleksi.

Jetz who was now the only soldier in charge who wasn’t wounded and the highest rank soldier right now, he was on the lead. Rika was wounded, same the other officers, he was now responsible from the team. Two teams had gotten a ride even though it was boasted to be only one team but now were two…

He turned and saw around 42 dogs, those plus two teams that had left from divisions that had arrived to Antoria. He cursed when he saw those soldiers, more than half of them were wounded most of them even critically.

”TEAM listen up!” He shouted to gain everyone’s attention. Some of the wounded dogs had been patched by human medics who had been walking and checking wounded soldiers…

Katchi walked up next to Jetz. “Jetz… There are too many badly wounded dogs, it isn’t easy to get them all to Nome and we don’t KNOW any good routes to there…” She said with a worrying tone in her voice. Then she looked at the others; Speedy was one of the wounded too, due to the factory explosion he couldn’t walk so properly…

”Argh why don’t we get a ride?” He asked and tried to yawn, but pain around his body made him only whine.

”Aww poor hero,” Janice said with a giggle and helped him to get up at least.

Speedy whined while she did that to him, but he knew that the team had to move towards Nome. The town where he and his friends had done a commando strike failed one of course, he didn’t mind to go back there…

”OK team let’s move out…” Jetz shouted, he watched his team members, he sighed, team that was now under his command was large and also a wounded one. Most of the soldiers couldn’t walk, and what made it even harder was one SS soldier, who had been captured from the factory.

”Fass mich nicht an du Schwein! Ich bin Hochoffizier und ich hoffe dass du mich auch so behandelst!” The SS dog shouted while Scope was pushing him forwards. Scope himself wasn’t wounded, he was lucky like always.

”Sure, sure, whatever you say,” Scope said with a grin and pushed him so hard that the SS dog fell onto the ground.

”SCOPE!” Jetz shouted and shook his head at the same time.

”That officer is Colonel in US ranks,” he explained and again shook his head and cursed at Scope.

”Ups! I have threatened this dog like he would only be a Pvt! I’m sorry mister Colonel high butt,” Scope said with a grin then bowed to him.

”Dummkopf!” The SS dog only said with a snap then walked up next to Jetz. He nodded at him but then walked normally with the other soldiers, and helped Trase patch one soldier who was almost bleeding to death.

”Maybe we have thought that SS soldiers are only raw souls,” Rika said with a small whine while she tried to stand up, her wound had been too bad for her, she couldn’t run anymore, not so fast, she have get home shot.

Marlow was whining over a small cut what he had gotten when one SS soldier was playing with a bayonet.

”Stop whining Marlow and act like a soldier!” Scope shouted and slapped his small wound and laughed, after him Little Brother slapped him so hard that Marlow fell onto ground.

”Hey!” Marlow shouted and rose back on his feet. He cursed Scope, who wouldn’t.

”Aww did you get hurt?” Sniper asked when she walked up beside him.

”No luckily I didn’t…” Marlow said in a desperate voice and still kept walking forwards.

”Okey then,” Sniper said with a smile then passed him and walked away…

Other soldiers watched that a bit sarcastically, most of them didn’t have anything against half breeds. Rika was one too; they had already ignored her heritage. Who would care about it right now? Only thing what was on the soldiers’ minds was to get home safely and get food and a bath.

”I’m dirty!” Scope cursed when he shook his fur and noticed that one of his bags had been ripped off, he cursed it.

”I lost everything that I had there!” He shouted and bit a small branch in desperation.

”Aww Scope will miss his dinner all the time…” Janice joked while she walked beside Speedy.

Speedy himself didn’t say a thing; he was walking quietly and leaning on Janice who was helping him to walk. He didn’t know why she did this but he didn’t mind to complain. His eyes scanned around the area, which usually had been quiet, the town was soon behind them, the trip to Nome had now started…

Meanwhile: Jack who had been running for a while had ran into someone and flew back.

”Was auf aller Welt..?” A German soldier exclaimed. He raised his gun and aimed at once at Jack’s chest with a Kar98 model rifle, he then noticed the dogs coming towards him and loaded his weapon.

”Halt! Hände hoch du Schwein! Versuch nicht, etwas zu machen!” The SS soldier shouted and then without warning suddenly shot Jack in the chest. The dogs were shocked. Jack shouted in pain and hit the ground. The SS soldier raised his gun to shoot the dogs but suddenly Janice, Sniper and Legion attacked him ripping the soldier’s neck and back.

”Scheisse! Bleibt weg ihr Schwein-Hünde!” The SS soldier shouted. Then finally he screamed and died on the ground, blood running down from his neck…

Legion spit on his body. “Damn SS wanders,” he said and looks at the dogs, he saw that they had just arrived, he thought something.

Dusty stopped when she saw Legion. She remembered that horrible nasty small desert soldier, she slowly shook her head.

”No… It can’t be… Him…” She said quietly and stepped back, memories being a hostage swam up in her mind. She hit Ralph while she backed up.

”Ouh what you are doing…?” Ralph asked. He then noticed Legion, Janice and Sniper, soon the whole group of wounded and unwounded dogs arrived in view.

”Jetz I guess we meet the Nome Dogs once again…” Salama snapped when he walked up next to Jetz who thought something hard.

”Unfortunately… But also they are our only chance to get most of the wounded soldiers to care…” Jetz said and sat down while he sighed.

Balto saw those dogs too, he noticed that they were badly outnumbered and they didn’t have any chance in beating them- so many well trained soldiers. Jetz then started to walk towards him; he took peaceful steps to show that he wasn’t going to hurt them, he calmly stepped in front of Balto. He knew well that he would be the leader since he was the so called ‘hero’ who had saved one town, but never given any blood for his country like Jetz had same as the other on his team…

”I guess you are the lead dog of this… I guess sled team?” Jetz said, he wasn’t so sure but when he counted there was one sled team and other dogs as well, and that was too much.

”Yes, I am the leader of this small group… And I guess you are the leader of your one,” Balto replied and looked straight into Jetz’s eyes.

”Unfortunately I am now the leader of this team, all the officers have been wounded, half of the whole dog divisions have been slaughtered, there aren’t anymore of us left. What was it in the start, 30? Now left are about 15 of my team, plus reinforcements,” Jetz said, from his eye one could see that he didn’t want to talk about losses.

”What do you mean?” Dusty suddenly asked Jetz who gave only a small smile to her. “Antoria…. I guess you are heading there… Well it is destroyed…” Jetz said coldly.

May shook her head slowly. “There has been a great battle against the SS, victory is USA’s but that cost several lives and a whole town is burned down, there isn’t anything useful left… I’m sorry,” Jetz said and lowered his voice he then looked behind him at the others, Rika limped up next to Jetz.

”He is saying the truth, my team has been slaughtered there, I’m the only survivor of it,” she said and whined about her wounds a bit.

”And now we are helpless… Most of these dog soldiers are wounded, they won’t survive if they don’t get a vet or any help…” Jetz added, his voice was cold, but he knew what he was talking about…

”Well I don’t mind anything of your words! SOLDIER!” Fang shouted and growled at Rika and Jetz, one wounded soldier growled back, and he was one of those who had made it back from the hand-to-hand combat alive.

”What you will say it against house dog!” He shouted and walked in front of Fang and growled loudly, from his eyes can see that he have seen enough…

”Private get back to your place,” Rika ordered but the young soldier ignored her, Legion walked up next to Jetz, his cold look nailed the young private.

”C’mon I like to see you in action, we don’t need to watch filthy soldiers like you,” Fang growled, Kodi supported Fang and growled at the soldier as well.

”Dad don’t take those suggestions… They will kill us anyway,” Kodi said and showed his fangs; the young soldier growled and took one step closer to Kodi.

Suddenly he attacked, but Legion jumped in between interrupting his attack. They both hit the ground, without mercy Legion ripped the soldier’s throat and killed him, the private yelped loudly and then he was dead.

”As I can see, some of the soldiers don’t agree with you Kodi, I warn you and the others, Legion won’t succeed in stopping them all…” Jetz said and nodded at Legion who ripped the collar off the dead soldier’s neck.

Kodi swallowed something and took a step back, he now realized how fast Legion had killed that soldier, and he knew that he couldn’t do that to him or his friend. “Dad…?” he asked and tried not to look like he would be scared.

”How we can help you?” Balto asked he didn’t want to kill his friends with saying no.

“My friend… You can also say no if you don’t want to help us,” Jetz said and sighed, he look behind him when he heard voices, one soldier had hit the ground.

”C’mon hang on you don’t…. You can’t just die right now!” Kat shouted she tried encouraging this dying soldier.

Kodi and the others went to look at him. Kodi looked at the soldier whose muzzle was covered in dry blood. A soldier who had silver-white fur, but it looked dirty and bloody, his eyes were desperate and he was crying.

”Am… Am I going to die..?” He asked, Kodi swallowed, this was his first time when he saw a dying dog, he couldn’t say anything about it, and he was shocked like his friends next to him.

The soldier coughed, he tried to get oxygen but didn’t get it good enough, soon he took a last breath and his eyes closed. The soldier was finally dead. Kat shook her head slowly and grabbed the soldier’s collar and ripped it off his neck, she then stared at Kodi.

”This is what we will face everyday!” She said to him, then walked away to help someone else. Soon the whole group started moving forwards, leaving the dead soldier just laying there, ignored.

Balto who walked next to Jetz looked towards the dead soldier. “Shouldn’t we bury him?” He asked a bit curiously then saw the SS officer who was walking next to Trase.

”Bury? Tsha we haven’t buried soldiers since we arrived in this hell, he will be gone in two days if someone will eat his body,” Jetz snapped dryly and spit onto the ground, he was also bad looking, his uniform and fur were dirty.

Balto nodded he thought that he sounded stupid in front of a soldier he still wasn’t so sure why, but he felt that something was bothering him…

”You have to just lead us to Nome, that’s all what I you can do for us, most of these brave dogs have faced hell and I have lost many good friends down there, and I think that not all of these soldiers will see the daylight tomorrow…” Jetz said and sighed, he was worried about the dogs that were with him. They had been abandoned, no transport no food nothing useful…

Scope walked next to Ralph, everyone could see that he had something on his mind, but they didn’t say anything.

”So what’s up sled doggy?” Scope started with a small giggle.

”What do you want?!” Ralph snapped and walked farther away from Scope, who made a small smile across his face, usually Scope didn’t like it when someone will do those sorts of things.

”Nothing interesting, you can’t give anything to me so why should I want something from you?” Scope snapped and giggled a while, suddenly Kodi jumped in between them. “Get away from near my friends soldier!” He shouted to Scope who let again a small smile that grew across his face.

”OK OK fine then,” Scope said and walked off, no one didn’t know what he was going to do but no one was going to complain about that right now…

Balto walked up next to a wounded officer, his rank was Major. “Are you OK?” Balto asked him with a small smile, then yawned for a bit, Major only gave look at him and was quiet.

”Are you OK?” Balto replied hoping that the major would talk to him, Katchi noticed this and walked up next to the major.

”He can’t talk… The SS cut his tongue off when he was in prison,” she explained and look at this poor shepherd who was sad, his rank was good but life wasn’t anymore…

Balto nodded and walked away to see the other wounded ones, he noticed that most of these soldiers were bad looking and dirty and their wounds are even worse than what he had seen in his life. A few ones didn’t have a tail, leg, or something more, they had been torn off in battle, and one soldier had only two legs. A grenade had taken two off, he was lucky because he didn’t bleed to death.

He then walked again back next to Jetz who nodded at him. “Now you understand what makes the difference between a sled dog and between soldiers?” He asked and sighed, Balto nodded, but let Jetz to continue.

”You are maybe a hero of one town, we are forgotten ones, from towns we have been thrown away, vets they will kill us, in woods SS, hunters, wolves will kill us, we have no place to stay, this was Antoria, you still smell the burned flesh around?” Jetz said and sighed again…

”I have… Never thought about these kinds of things, you know… I have never talked with a soldier…” Balto said unless this was his first time when he talks with one straight.

”You thought only, for soldiers there aren’t so many anymore, war is soon over, there isn’t so much left, most of them have new duties,” Jetz said with a smile.

”What do you mean?” Balto asked feeling a bit confused.

”Meaning that most of those soldiers have a new job, no killing anymore, the SS is beat down now! No job for trained soldiers so they will take new jobs, Guard, Sled dog, who knows those are the famous ones…” Jetz explained. The day was halfway, but the trip had just started…

The night closed in on them, Kodi didn’t enjoy the company the soldiers gave him. Wounded ones whined pretty much, that took on nerves, even for Medics. Kat had walked away from the wounded soldiers, she had heard enough…

She wasn’t so sure what to do, but she was a bit down. “There are too many wounded,” she said with a sigh then walked back to help the wounded soldiers, on her way she met Trase who had taken care of the SS colonel.

”Evening,” he said with a small grin to her, “Guten abend,” the SS soldier replied with a small nod. Katchi nodded back and sighed while she passed them both, she went to sleep like many others.

Speedy who always had some more heart than the others gave a small blanket to Kat, and walked back and joined the other soldiers. Kat woke up on that and watched him going back to the team, she shook her head and enjoyed the blanket.

Kodi didn’t join the soldiers. Soon Little Brother and Scope had noticed that he didn’t want to join, and stayed with the others far away from them. Scope whispered something to Little Brother and they both started to walk towards the sled dogs.

”What do you two want here?” Fang snapped and showed his fangs, Scope ignored him and same did Little Brother.

”Heya I heard that you are called Kodiak, is that true?” Scope asked and coughed a bit in Fang’s direction, everyone would understand that it was an insult, but only for soldiers.

”Well what do you want to have from me?” Kodi asked and grinned at Scope who looked at Little Brother.

”Want to join me and the other soldiers? We know many good stories that we often tell,” he explained. Kodi refused like Scope had awaited and soon Little Brother grabbed him by his scruff and started dragging him after him, Kodi shouted for help but Scope only bowed to the other dogs.

”We won’t kill him, only talk,” he explained then ran after Little Brother. Thunder, Dusty, Ralph, Kirby, Ray, May and Hacke followed soon, only Fang didn’t.

Kodiak tried to put up a resistance when he was thrown into the middle of the soldiers, most of them weren’t wounded, but some of them were.

”What do you want?” He asked Jetz who walked up next to him, then moved his head closer to his ear. “Don’t worry, they aren’t going to hurt you, just Scope’s way to make shy guys talk,” he said then walked between Salama and between Legion, and sat down.

”Well Kodiak, my name is Scope, this is Andrai but for friends Little Brother, this is Janice, Sniper, and I guess you know Speedy already,” Scope explained and pointed at the others, he then looked over his shoulder towards Trase and the SS Colonel who were trying to understand each other.

”That one over there is Trase, that female over there is Katchi, for friends Kat,” Scope explained and smiled at the new dogs who had joined the group.

”Ouh well really nice to meet you guys, but I’m not in a talking mood,” Kodi snapped and started to walk away from the group when suddenly a small grenade hit his head. Kodi growled and looked over his shoulder at Scope.

”Ok OK what is wrong with you?” He asked and growled at him, Scope answered only with a sneer.

”I guess you need that,” he said and sat down still sneering at him, Kodi rolled his eyes and walked away and sat down next to Dusty who nudged him with her shoulder. “C’mon let’s see what they want,” She said and winked her eye.

”Listen up everyone!” Scope started and rose to his feet and walked into the middle of the group. He cleaned his throat and scratched some dirt out of his fur with his hind leg, and then looked at the others again.

”Well I see that we have to say something to our new guides, may I present the teams new sled dogs,” a few ones started laughing at Scope’s comment, Scope then burped and then looked at Little Brother.

”In here you see an extra huge Siberian husky, yeah I can say what you think, you can see fat, huge stupid typical soldier in front of you,” Scope shouted to everyone and laughed a bit, same did the others.

Kodi rolled his eyes and thought that what this ‘Little Brother’ is thinking about Scope’s insults but Little Brother didn’t mind to do anything to Scope; they two were both good friends.

”Well here we can see that he could eat whole supply storage if he will have chance on it,” Scope continued and spit on the ground for a point, “Yak I got to say and US will accept this sort of soldiers? Hell no!” He shouted and sat down in front of the others, he was in a show mood.

He then ordered Little Brother to lay down onto his back, he walked over to him and stood atop of him for a while. “You see? This jerk has so much food inside his body!” He shouted then let Little Brother stand, he watched him a while, then looked at the others.

”This test tells what kind of soldier he is, can he hold his breath in side him?” He said and ordered him to hold his breath, after a while he then again ordered him to sit down then walked next to him and pushed with his paw Little Brother’s stomach. Soon a huge long fart came from Little Brother, Scope looked around at the others and bowed.

”The test has failed, operative couldn’t succeed in holding breath inside him,” that ended in huge laughter while Scope and Little Brother bowed to everyone.

Few ones of the sled team laughed on this small play, not everyone, Kodi just rolled his eyes again, even Scope saw that he didn’t like soldier’s humor, he knew most of these things as nasty in front of a normal house dog.

”Well who knows,” Legion snapped after he stopped giggling. He then looked at the others, also he knew that most of these dogs loved hearing about the desert army, he would tell some parts when he was in a story mood.

Scope sniffed the air then looked towards Legion. “I guess someone want to tell a story of the Foreign Legion or don’t you Legion?” He asked with a small sneer and everyone turned their look at the small desert soldier.

”Well fine I will tell something…” Legion said with a small sigh.

”What are you waiting for?” Salama asked and pushed him playfully and giggled.

”Fine, fine I will tell…” Legion said and sighed again then cleared his throat.

”Well when I was in the French army, in the desert wasn’t so fun, no water, hot and nasty air, but soon we got used to it. We arrived at fort Babylon, as for a nickname for that fort,” Legion started and giggled for a while, “and for the impossible thing, they used Huskies out there. Thinking, how I can be still alive? Well what they done to me and my friends, they almost cut all fur off of us, we were almost bald. But then we got sand-colored uniforms. That uniform was light, didn’t bother anything, and it was smaller than I now wear. Well inside that fort was my first battle, where I got both of these scars, well at least one first one was on the trip,” he explained then looked at the moon.

”What happened inside that fortress?” Little Brother asked while he licked his own lips.

Legion ignored this question and continued. “Well we faced a really hard attack when we had stayed inside that damn fortress. When morning came Arabians were already waiting for us to wake. Soon after they attacked dogs were commanded to take positions. I was then with one female husky, she wasn’t ugly one, dear no, she was a real beauty,” Legion said, he was dreaming a bit.

”Did you stay with her too long?” Scope asked with a small sneer. He had gotten interested when Legion said ‘beauty’ like always, everyone got his meaning, but Legion shook his head. “No Scope I didn’t ‘stay’ too long with her, even though I should have, but I didn’t,” Legion said with a small smile.

”Well we got to our stations, but some of us didn’t. Soon suddenly a small canon fired and one tower exploded and sent a rain of stone atop of us. We took off under it, but she didn’t. I ran into her and pushed her away under it and again saved her life,” Legion said and sighed “besides she had saved mine two times too,” he added with a nod.

”Ouh well continue Legion, the show is yours,” Scope said with a nod.

”Well the Arabians succeeded in braking through the wall and attacking our forces. The Frenchmen fought really bravely against those desert warriors and they died like heroes. No one can say anything that they aren’t heroes! They were real ones,” Legion said with a nod so that everyone could understand that he didn’t want to hear insults about the Foreign Legion.

”Well anyway after that battle I got this scar that is through my face. The one who did it is now dead, our army succeeded in driving them away, meaning the Arabians. We were lucky that they left us all, well then… Then this female, well for name she was… Sonya, she gave me a lick, not any kind of one, it was full of love…” Legion said and started dreaming. Scope walked up behind him and slapped his head. “C’mon you are going into dreams lover boy,” he said and giggled.

Dusty giggled a while. “That’s a nice story eerhh…” She said but was stumbling because she didn’t know his name.

”Comet, Miss, for friends Legion,” Legion said to her fast with a small nod.

”OK my name is Dusty like you already know,” Dusty said and then looked towards the others who had started sharing meat. Scope gave it to the others also; this was a good start of a small friendship…

Soon the SS soldier shouted something from the corner, one major was talking with him, and soon the SS soldier slapped the major’s face and soon a fight was on.

”FIGHT!” Scope shouted and ran towards the SS soldier, and grabbed his neck’s scruff and threw him onto the ground. Others came and they started beating the SS soldier.

Dusty and the others noticed how gladly they started beating him; they were ready to kill him even.

”Stop that!” Thunder shouted when she walked up to see what those soldiers were doing to the SS dog who screamed in pain.

”STOP THAT!” Dusty shouted when she saw that the MSDF soldiers were beating the SS soldier, she couldn’t watch it. The SS soldier screamed, even if he was a Colonel, the MSDF didn’t care.

”Kill him!” Scope suggested to Trase who retreated a few steps away from the fight. “I won’t do that,” Trase replied and sat down.

Soon Kodi and a few others separated the fighters from the fight by jumping into the middle of them. “STOP IT!” Kodi shouted and growled at the soldiers defending the SS soldier. Scope sneered at him, he knew that Kodi wouldn’t know what kind of soldiers SS dogs can be.

”Kodi you are digging your grave, that dog might kill you,” Scope explained and watched the SS dog who whined. He lay on the ground.

”Listen I don’t want to see any fight on this trip!” Kodi explained and then looked towards the SS dog that nodded his head and growled at Scope.

”Well your mind I suggest that we will take extra wheel out from this journey,” Scope said and everyone nodded their heads in agreement except a few ones. Jetz sighed while he walked up next to Scope.

”Scope? What is going on in here?” He asked and watched this fight that had started. He knew that those team members could not take commands from Kodi or those civilians.

”He was defending our prison who needs to meet God,” Scope said and sneered at the SS dog who still whined, Dusty and the others were helping him.

”What sort of liar did you guys think that he is so nice? I bet he is because those dogs will rip tongue out if they get chance to do so,” Scope explained and looked towards the major who nodded his head in agreement.

”Don’t listen to him,” Kodi said. Balto had woken at the sound of the commotion and walked up next to his son. “What is going on in here?” He asked and looked at the SS dog who rolled his eyes.

”Fight,” Jetz said peacefully and watched towards the sky where a few bomber squadrons could be seen going home.

Balto shook his head and looked at his son for a while then he looked towards the SS dog. “Kodi?” he asked confused.

”Those dogs started to beat him, we helped him by defending,” Kodi explained and then looked at Jetz who sighed again. Speedy swallowed something, he was almost the only one who hadn’t taken part in the beating.

”Kodi please don’t mess around with them, if you haven’t noticed they are in war and it isn’t same kind like small gang fight with dogs or a wolf pack war,” Balto said and looked at Jetz who was telling what had happened to Rika.

”Battle is battle, everyone has their own war,” Scope philosophized, and then walked off. Trase was taking care of the SS dog; everyone went to their places and prepared to take this long journey to an end.

Morning: Everyone woke on the howl, “ALERT!” soon everyone was on their feet and checking the area. It had been found out that the SS dog had escaped, and something else…

”What’s going on?” Kodi asked when he woke on that howl; he looked when soldiers took every side and secured them.

”The SS dog has escaped!” Jetz shouted and sat down, he knew that it is impossible to try to even find him, it had happened in the night.

Katchi walked over to see what else had happened. A few dogs talked near one laying dog, she wasn’t so sure who that dog was, but then she saw that it was Trase. Also she got shocked- Trase had been strangled…

”What… What happened?” she asked and swallowed when one dog put a blanket over Trase.

”Assassinated middle of night,” one of the soldiers said and walked away. The second one put Trase’s collar into her bag. “He was your team-mate,” he said and walked off.

Katchi couldn’t get any word out of her mouth, she swallowed and thought if she should cry or ignore it. She ignored, it felt like her heart had been cut to pieces. She noticed a few ones who were already knew what had happened, the rest of her team.

”He was a good soldier,” Jetz said and sighed, he then looked over Trase’s body and shook his head slowly. “OK team move out before the SS will send troubles. The Colonel knows how weak we are right now and it isn’t so hard to find a blood hungry SS division, but nowadays it is pretty hard luckily,” he shouted and soon the whole division or what was left of it started walking again towards their only hope.

Speedy looked behind him, he noticed eight dog’s bodies on the ground- wounded soldiers that hadn’t survived the night.

Scope growled, they then noticed why this happen, he walked up to Kodi, “Trase died because of YOU!” He said to Kodi who didn’t know what he meant.

”What do you me-!” Kodi asked but the slap across his face interrupted him.

”SCOPE!” A commanding voice cut the air, and stopped Scope who was giving a second slap across Kodi’s face.

”Leave him alone! He doesn’t deserve what that SS does, even he didn’t want to see it when you were trying to kill that SS Colonel, and it isn’t his fault. Now step aside Scope,” Jetz said and growled at Scope who moved away from Kodi. Jetz watched him go. Then he noticed that Marlow wasn’t near, he hadn’t seen him at all…

”Where is Marlow?!” Jetz shouted to the night watch.

”Yes?” A soldier shouted and looked towards Jetz.

”Did you see Marlow during the night?” Jetz asked and ran up next to him, he wanted to know what had happened to Marlow.

”Well he went into the woods saying that he will take a small walk. He didn’t return after that I guess,” the soldier explained and pointed towards the woods.

”Poor Marlow, I guess he is dead now,” Jetz said and sighed, he then walked back to his team.

No one saw Marlow after that night, he was marked as MIA Missing in Action, who knows where he went, he was half wolf anyway and for army books it meant useless…


The journey went fine in most parts. Still Balto noticed that he was worried about the wounded dogs. There were so many of them, the food came to and end soon. Scope and a few others still had some though. Many wounded soldiers had died, many of them hadn’t survived the journey.

Finally Nome came into view after the endless trip, new hope filled everyone’s heart.

”NOME!” One scout shouted and started running towards the main team. He screamed the word “Nome” many times while he ran, soon when he caught up with the others, they started moving towards Nome.

”Finally I thought this endless forest will never end!” Rika shouted and barked in happiness, most of the wounded soldiers got new hope and they started moving towards Nome.

Nome:

One man who was cleaning his window noticed some movement near the woods. First he thought that they were wolves, but then he saw and recognized the MSDF uniform. He dropped the cloth that he had been cleaning the windows with.

”Impossible,” he said while he ran into the streets trying to find something, then he noticed three army trucks and medics and other human soldiers.

”Dogs!” he shouted and pointed to the woods. The soldiers watched him like a new cigar for a while, but then they heard howls coming from the distance.

”OK men the soldiers have finally arrived!” One officer shouted and started shouting commands.

Jetz and the others soon arrived at the town; medics took the wounded soldiers away from those who didn’t need care.

Jetz and Rika then turned towards Balto.

”Thank you for the help. Without you those soldiers wouldn’t have made it out from Antoria alive…” He then turned towards May and Ray who had been quiet this whole trip.

”And for you two, Antoria was home, but you will find a new owner and get a good home from somewhere,” Jetz continued and then looked at the trucks where one dog officer jumped down from the stage.

”Finally you guys arrived, we have been waiting here for 20 hours,” The officer said and sighed in relief.

”Well… Nice to meet you two sir!” Jetz said and saluted.

”Well I’m happier to see you, Rika and the others,” the officer explained, and saluted back.

”The whole army of Antoria is now in care, at least most of them,” Rika said and saluted.

”Well enough saluting you two I’m glad to see you two in one piece nothing else!” The dog said then turned to the others.

”Jetz your team has got badly on ass, and there are no reinforcements available, and your team will be reformed as something else,” the officer said then yawned.

Kodi and the others ran to see their friends again, they were happy to get rid of the soldiers.

Suddenly Kat walked up and joined the officer talk, she sat down and saluted, then waited for the officer’s words.

”Well glad to see you Katchi, unfortunately I have some bad news for you guys. Jetz your team will be reformed like I said. Kat is the newest member of it, she will be transported to a new team,” the officer said and then sighed.

”WHAT?” Katchi, Jetz and Rika shouted together. “Why? Why I can’t be on this team? It is my home I love to be on it!” Kat said and almost started crying, these were very bad news to her.

”Sorry Kat this talk is over. Jetz your team will be separated from her since this day. Your mission is to go at once to the Training Base 4, there you will get new orders,” the officer said and with these words he disappeared inside the truck. Kat lowered her head, she almost started to cry and was holding her tears.

”It’s OK Kat…” Jetz said and then shouted for the others to come over. Soon everyone had gathered around and were waiting for Jetz to speak.

”OK our team will be reformed, and Kat has gotten transport to a different squadron, she will be leaving right now. You have your time to say goodbye, because somewhere inside my heart I think that we will never see her anymore…” Jetz said and then sighed. Everyone talked a while with each other then turned their looks on Kat.

Kat nodded her head and hugged Jetz. “You were the best leader that I had in my life,” she said then walked over to Scope, and nuzzled him a while. “And you idiot, you were the one who made us all always laugh,” she said and then smiled at him.

”Whoah Kat I still remember Lucy,” Scope said and giggled a while, when Kat hugged Little Brother, then Speedy and the rest of the team.

”Well you guys were good friends and always ready to help me and the others,” Kat said, then a voice behind her commanded her to get onto the truck…

She nodded her head and jumped into the truck that soon left the town…

Meanwhile:

Marlow who had started to be a deserter had run away, he watched Nome from a small cliff and howled. He had thought that a wolf’s life was his life and had ran away. He wasn’t wearing his uniform or collar anymore, he was free from the army…

Jetz shook his head; he missed Kat like everyone else did.

Soon a second officer walked up to him. Jetz sighed and rolled his eyes, then saluted to him.

”Rest Sgt I have your new job, there are eight dogs on your team right?” The dog said and watched the team that was the SE team.

”Yes Sir old SE team reformed as what?” Jetz asked and raised his eyebrow.

”Well Jetz your team will be reformed as a sled team,” the officer said. Everyone got a huge shock, and their jaws dropped. A new life had started, the old one was over. The war against the SSWD in Antoria had finally ended. War was moving towards the one thing that was in everyone’s mind, the end of it……
