Jenna slowly opened her eyes. She could feel the sun's heat hot on her back. Yawning, she got up and stretched her legs. What a lovely morning. Jenna walked over to her water bowl. Lapping at the water, Jenna thought about all the great things she was going to do today.
"JENNA!" called Rosy, running into the room. Jenna barked happily and jumped up at Rosy. Rosy giggled and patted Jenna on the head.
"Want to go play Jenna?" Rosy asked joyfully. Jenna barked and ran outside. Rosy, grabbing her hat on the way, ran after Jenna.
"Lets play sledge racing!" Rosy jumped exitedly. She ran to her dad's office and dragged the sledge outside, along with the harness. Rosy slipped the harness around Jenna's neck and put her hat on.
"Ready Jenna?" Rosy asked.
"HEY ROSY! Can I play?" asked one of Rosy's friends. Rosie nodded. Her friend dragged his sledge towards her and put the harness on his dog.
"Hi!" the dog said. He looked familiar.
"Hi..." Jenna replied shyly.
"Its me mum... Its me Dingo!" the dog replied laughing. He thought it was funny that she didnt notice it was him.
"Oh hi Dingo!" Jenna smiled.
"Ready, set, GO!" Rosy shouted. Jenna and Dingo ran towards the real sledge team's finish line.
"ROSY! GET OFF THE TRACK! THE TEAM ARE COMING THIS WAY AND YOU MIGHT GET HURT!" Rosy's mother shouted.
"JENNA! STOP!" Rosy shouted. But Jenna could'nt hear Rosy over the noise the crowds were making.
"JENNA! STOOOOP!" cried Rosy. Jenna still could'nt hear her. Dingo had already ran to the path, keeping his boy safe.
"JENNNNNNA!" screamed Rosy, with tears in her eyes. The team ran towards them. The team leader thought Jenna was another team, and bit Jenna's leg, making her fall over and send the sledge flying through the air. Rosy's scream ran though her ears, as Rosy began flying through the air as well.
"ROSY!" cried Rosy's dad. Jenna looked up and realised Rosy was thrown of the sledge.
Jenna starred through the hospital window. Rosy was in one of the beds, her leg was brocken. Jenna's bitten leg was fine. It didnt hurt. Tears filled Jenna's eyes. She gazed at her reflection in the hostpital window.

Jenna jumped back. That definatly was'nt her reflection. Jenna looked at her reflection again. A orangey-red female husky starred back at her. Who's reflection was that? Jenna looked behind her. There was knowbody there. Was someone playing a trick on her? Jenna tilted her head, the reflection did the same. It WAS her reflection?
"Jenna, swim to the bottom of the ocean near Nome," a voice said. Jenna opened her eyes and jumped up from her sleep. Who said that? Jenna sighed of relief. It was only her dream. She stretched her back and ran outside to see how Rosy was. Rosy lay in the hospital bed, her leg wrapped in bandages. Jenna's reflection was the same orange husky from before. The reflection gazzed at Jenna. Suddenly, it hit her. The reflection was so familiar...
"Jenna, swim to the bottom of the ocean near Nome," the voice said again.
"MOTHER!" cried Jenna, escaping from the flashback. She looked around. Jenna was outside the hospital window.
"Swim to the bottom of the ocean near Nome...." Jenna whispered to herself.
The next morning, Jenna ran to the beach and told Balto all about what happened. Balto did'nt like the idea of her swimming to the bottom of the ocean.
"But what if you drown?!" Balto cried worriedly.
"I won't!" Jenna replied. She knew how worried he was.
"Jenna, I can't live without you!" Balto said, making Jenna smile. She hugged Balto and ran to the tide. Jenna took one glance back at Balto and took a deep breath. Then, she dived into the ocean and began swimming downwards. Once she reached the bottom of the ocean, she could see a blurey white thing. Salt went in her eyes, making them sting. She opened her mouth and tried to pick the white thing up, but she let go off her breath. Gasping for air, Jenna kicked her legs franticaly. Was she going to drown?
Jenna picked the white thing up and swam towards the oceans surface. It felt like her lungs were going to burst!
"JENNA?!" Balto shouted, as bubbles came up to the surface. Jenna's body went floppy, her energy was low. Still grasping the white thing in between her teeth, Jenna slowly closed her eyes. Balto could'nt bear it no longer and jumped into the water to find Jenna. Jenna floated towards the ocean bed. Balto saw her, and started to panic. Was Jenna alive?
Balto swam as fast as he could towards Jenna. He grabbed one of Jenna's paws and threw her onto his back. Then, Balto swam and swam until he reached the surface. Slowly, Balto put Jenna onto the sand and shook his fur. Water splashed everywhere.
"JENNA?!" Balto shouted. He put his paw in front of Jenna's mouth. Thank goodness! Jenna was breathing. Jenna started coughing and opened her eyes.
"Wh- What?!" Jenna gasped. Balto let out a sigh of relief.
"Jenna, are you alright? I'm so glad your alive!" Balto said, helping Jenna onto her feet. Jenna coughed again, a white piece of paper flew out of her mouth.
"What's this?" Jenna asked as she picked it up and turned it over. It was a photo!
"Who's that on the photo?" asked Balto puzzled. Jenna's eyes widened.
"ITS MY FATHER!" Jenna cried happily. Balto starred at the photo of her father.

"JENNA!" called Rosy's voice. Rosy stood at the side of the beach with bandages on her leg. Jenna picked up the photo and walked home with Rosy.
"Thank you, mother!" Jenna whispered as she looked up at the sky.
