Capter 1

A wolf ran throw the forest panicing and finding some where to hide. With a little furry thing in her month shivering and scared. The wolf was getting really tired and couldn't run anymore over a hill was a bright light.

She climbed up the hill to see a little town called Valbez she knew it was the prefected place to keep her pup safe till she comes back. There was a shed that looked like its been abanden for year and looks like it will never be used again. She opened the half broken door to see old hey every where just the prefected spot for her pup to be safe. She placed the pup in the big pill of hey found a little blanket to put on him to keep warm. "Good bye my son i'll see you soon" nuzzled her son and ran out of the shed back to the wild.

The pup was frightened and did know where he was or where his mom was, then fell asleep.

The next morning was a clear sky bright day.Jeff an middle age black and white husky was walking out of his house very sad his head was down looking like he's been crying for days.

Jeff laid on the porch mooping and whining, just then a big light brown husky came around the cornor of his house "hey jeff!" yelled the dog the dog say the look on Jeff face and his ears folded back.

 "oh hey Cory" Jeff said  putting his head back down."Jeff hows the wife doing?" said Cory.

Jeff put his head up and looked a Cory "not good she can't get over the facted that none of our pups made it" he pause and took a deep breath " its been two weeks it was hard knowing now im not going to be a father but I think she giving up on life."

Cory looked at him frowning " Aww Jeff she well soon get over it its just going to take time." "yeah I know but she been whating to be a mother since the day I meet her."

Cory patted him on the back "it'll be ok Jeff just give her time" and walked away. Jeff knew that Cory was right his wife well get over it but how long well it be before she was herself again.

Jeff got up from his spot and desisted to take a walk he walked around looking at the fun think him and his wife did together and found the shed that they first fell in love. I think I'll go in there and remember the old days.Jeff walked through the door and saw that it was the same it was three years ago there was rusty old tools on a shelf looks like they were not us for years right in the middle was a stack of hey.

He heard whining from the hey and walked over in the hey he saw a wolf pup light brown color fur and a gray spot on his forhead shaped like a half moon, shacking scared to see a big dog looking at him.

"awww you poor thing" Jeff said "whats your name little one?" "hurt...hurtitt" the pup said almost whispering it "where's your parents?"

Jeff asked Hurtitt shooked his head "I....I don't know" was all he could say "well Hurtitt why don't you come with me?" Jeff said.

Hurtitt got up from his spot in the hey and walked with Jeff outside of the shed, Jeff walked for awhile "oh yeah my name is Jeff" he said bowing down and puting out his paw like a gentlemen would.

Hurtitt giggled a little and put his paw out to him "nice to might you Jeff"

A Month later

Jeff and his wife Ginger loved Hurtitt they treated him like a son. Jeff and Ginger took Hurtitt to the woods to show him where he came from, Hurtitt loved it he played with all the butterflies rolling in the grass racing Jeff and beating him.

One day while out in the forest Jeff and Ginger took Hurtitt to a new place Hurtitt went off to play while his parents talked Hurtitt saw a rabbit and chased after it, he chased after the rabbit until he came to a cave.

In the cave Hurtitt thought it was cool there was crytals all around he went farther into the cave at the end he saw two big blood red eyes staring at him. He got closer the eyes moved, Hurtitt could not see the eyes anymore he was about to turn and walk out of the cave when something wet and slimy landed on his head he looked up to see a big mouth full of teeth right above him. A big thundering roar came out of the mouth Hurtitt ran as fasted as he could to get away "Aooooo!" Howled Hurtitt calling for his parents.

Jeff and Ginger heard his cries and ran towards him right behing him was a big black bear with blood red eyes and teeth almost as big as Hurtitt chasing after him. 

Jeff ran in front of Ginger and jumped on to the bears head Ginger ran to Hurtitt "ran Hurtitt go back to the house!" she shouted and attacked the bear as will.

Hurtitt did what she said and started running to the house he was running faster then he ever could he couldn't stop tears came down his face as he was scared of almost getting attacked by a bear and what would happen to his parents.

He could still hear the roar of the monster as he ran, then out of on where a wolverine came out of the bushes.

Hurtitt ran into him making them both roll down the little hill they both hit the ground hard Hurtitt went one way while the wolverine fell into a bush

"What the heck is your problem!" shouted the wolverine getting out of the bush Hurtitt rolled up into a little ball shacking and crying.

The wolverine could hear his cries "awww I didn't the scare you" the wolverine said he walked up to the little pup and put his paw and Hurtitt back "what wrong?" he asked Hurtitt lefted up his head "my...my mama and popa are in trouble."

The wolverine looked up in the direction Hurtitt ran from he to could hear the thundering roars of the bear "oh I see" The wolverine confured Hurtitt to make him stop crying but they both could hear the bear crying then all was silent, Hurtitt got up and started running where his parents and the bear were fighting the wolverine follow shouting at him to stop.

At the place where his parents and the bear were fighting there was blood everywhere but his parents and the bear where no where to be found.

 Hurtitt followed the blood trail until he saw the bear laying on the ground dead Hurtitt ran to the bear looking to see if his parents where close by "mama popa!" he shouted.

He ran all over looking for his parents then just of few feet away from the bear he saw his mother laying on the ground.

He ran towards her stoped right in front of her face and touched her noise. Licking her face trying to find anyway to wake her up "mama please wake up" he said shacking her "mama wake up!" he shouted when she didn't reasponed.

He started to cry puting his head on her neck "mama please come back" he whispered. The wolverine finally came the the spot he was shocked to see how bad the fight was then he saw the pup laying next to a dead dogs body "awww kid im so sorry" he said walking toward him, on the way he saw the the bear was laying on something it was a dogs paw laying out of the bear.

He put his paw on the pups back, Hurtitt looked at the wolverine "come on kid you shouldn't stay here" he said.

They both started walking away from the area "where do you live?" asked the wolverine Hurtitt looked at him "I don't have a home anymore.

My parents owners never liked me my parents had to sneak me into the house and hide me" The wolverine looked at him "I don't have a home either the other wolverine said i'm to nice to be a wolverine" he said.

Hurtitt keeped his head down " come with me I know a place where we can both live" Hurtitt followed the wolverine to a old house outside of town, the wolverine opened the door it was a one room house the kitchen on the right in a corner two beds in the back of the room againest the wall a little table on the left corner of the little room. 

There was spiders webs everywhere a big hole on the roof by the bed, the dust made the little room look like snow. "will I guess we can live here" the wolverine said, Hurtitt went to one of the bed crawled under the dark red blanket and started to fall asleep.

The wolverine sat next to Hurtitt "It'll be ok kid" he said "my name is Achak, whats yours?" Hurtitt lefted up his head "Hurtitt" he said mumbling a little "aw well Hurtitt you better get some sleep."

Achak got off the bed and went into the other Hurtitt followed him and just when Achak was going to lay down Hurtitt cuddled right next to him and fell asleep Achak smiled "good night kid" and went to sleep.

Chapter 2

11 months later

Hurtitt was walking outside of town with a bone that still had some meat on it, he came inside the little house Achak was swipping the floor with his tail.

Aw! you stole another peice of meat again didn't you!" he shouted "calm down it wasn't stolen the butcher through it out" Hurtitt said walking to his bed "good cause if you stole another peice of meat the human are going to get mad."

Achak said going back to his swipping "I don't stell meat anymore" Achak started laughing "not since you say that girl dog watching you still the meat" Hurtitt gave him a dirty look "it doesn't matter I haven't sene her since and its been like two months already" he said looking out the old window.

The next day the town was having a big dog race to see who had the fastest dog for the new sled team. Hurtitt watched from his roof as the race began the dog started off through town then into the forest were there was poles everywhere to keep them from getting lost and back into town where the finish line is.

Hurtitt didn't really care who won the race or not just watch as the dog went through town but going trough the forest he really didn't want to watch that. Just than he saw the girl dog that he saw that night he took the peice of meat she was a husky with a kind of orange color fur a little face mark by her noise and a dimond shape fur right between her red orange eyes. 

Hurtitt got off from the his roof and ran towards her the girl dog was alone her family followed the dogs out of town, Hurtitt was nervuos he never really talk to any of the other dogs around town they were either scared or never really like him.

Hurtitt hide behind a trash can wait to see when it was the perfected time to talk to her he watch as she sat waiting for her family and the racing dogs to return Hurtitt thouht to himself that there was something different about her from the other dog he really seemed to like her a lot.

He daydreamed about her for awhile when he heard the dogs coming he knew it was his only chance before the whole town came and walked right behind her "Hi" he said the girl dog turned around and started to back up "hey your the wolf that stole from the butchers shop" she said.

"you better get out of here before the whole town gets back" Hurtitt was about to saw something when they heard everyone cheering the dog had finished the race in front was the best dog in town a buff husky that was dark brown.

He came up to Hurtitt and the girl dog "Anna did you see me win" he said "wh..what are you doing with that wolf!" he shouted Anna got in front of Hurtitt "nothing he was just walking by" "If I didn't know better I say that you were talking him" he shouted at her "Spike don't yell at me!" she shouted back.

Spike pushed Anna out of the way and started to growl at Hutitt "get out of here wolf you shouldn't even be here."

Hurtitt folded his ear back barring his teeth at Spike getting ready to attack him just then Spike gang jumped in front of Hurtitt. I want to attack them but if i do the humans well come after me Hurtitt thought.

The dogs were making so much noise the human were coming over Hurtitt had to run he ran down the alley while the dogs laughed at him "what a chicken!" one yelled.

Hurtitt ran out of the alley into the street and a car came around the corner and hit him. The dogs laughed hard as Hurtitt fell through the air landing hard in the snow by another alley.

Hurtitt got up his leg had a sharp pain he saw blood dripping down his leg he heard the other dogs laughing at him and just ran limping back home.

Anna felt really bad the dogs still laughing "why won't you guys just grow up!" she shouted the dogs stoped laughing and walked away excipted Spike " stay a way from that wolf" he said walking off. Anna just rolled her eyes.

At Hurtitt house he sat on his roof looking out to the forest were the northern light were in his mind he keeped thing about the girl dog Anna.

"Anna" he whispered, he heard someone near him he turned around to see Anna just getting onto the roof "hey" she said "hey" Huritt whispered.

"what are you doing here?" Anna walked up to him "I just whated to see if you were ok" "oh yeah im fine its just a sratch."

Hurtitt said hiding his wounded "no your not your bleeding" Anna walked up to Hurtitt looking at his leg "its not that bad it not really bleeding anymore" "im sorry about Spike and his gang his such a jerk" Anna said looking at Hurtitt "its ok all the dogs treat me like that i get use to it" Anna looked at him, Hurtitt looked into her red orange eyes.

"well you watch the northern lights with me?" Hurtitt asked, Anna nodded they watched the northern lights together.

"Anna!" a voiced yelled out, Anna turned around a big black husky in an alley looking for Anna "its my dad" Anna said looking at Hurtitt "I better go" Hurtitt nodded "i'll you later than ummm....whats your name?"

"Its Hurtitt" Anna looked at him "Hurtitt thats a nice name, bye" said getting off the roof "bye" Hurtitt whispered.

Capter 3

Hurtitt was taking a walk throw the forest with Achak talking about how him and Anna having a great evening with each other.

They started to hear someone screaming Hurtitt ran towards the screaming two little white foxs were running away from a black bear Hurtitt froze where he was "Hurtitt come on we need to help them!" Achak yelled.

Hurtitt just stodded there looking at the bear. Achak started running towards the bear he ran up the bears back bet his ear.

The bear was pissed and ran after Achak "i'll hold off the bear you get those two foxs out of here!" Achak yelled out.

Hurtitt ran where the two white foxs were "come on!" he yelled the two foxs ran with Hurtitt back to his house.

At the house Hurtitt was worried about Achak, the two white foxs wouldn't talk to him they just hid under the covers of Achak's bed.

"were is he" Hurtitt keeped saying to himself. Over the hill Hurtitt saw a Achak walking back to the house, Hurtitt ran out of the house to Achak "Achak your ok!" he shouted and jumped onto Achak

"yeah im ok" Achak said pushing Hurtitt off and walked into the house. Achak saw the two little foxs in his bed "you two ok?" he asked the two nodded there heads "were ok" the fox with blacks tips on his front paws "whats your names?" Achak asked

"My name is Russal and this is my brother Luk" the one with black tips on his front paws, the other looked almost like Russal but only had black tips on his ears and tail.

"Do you guys have a place to live?" Achak asked "yeah we do we live by the town but on the other side" "oh ok well you i'll walk you two back to your home" Achak said "no its ok we can take care of ourself" Russal said.

He showed the two out while Hurtitt went to his bed and hid in the covers, "what happen back there?" Achak asked while closing the door "nothing I just froze up" Hurtitt said.

"are you still scared of bears?" Hurtitt turn his head the other way "Hurtitt that was in the past you have to let it go, it wasn't your fault"  "Yes it was my fault I made the bear come out of the cave, I ran when I should have helped its my fault!" Hurtitt shouted at Achak.

"Well you almost got us all killed!" Achak shouted back, Hurtitt didn't say anything just walked outside the house.

Hurtitt stomped into think what Achak said when he heard someone crying he walked down the alley where the cries were coming from.

At a window in front of the hospital was Anna looking for someone. "Anna" Hurtitt said, Anna turn her head "oh Hurtitt hi" and turned her head back to the hospital "Anna whats wrong?"

Anna ingored him Hurtitt jumped onto the the window too, inside was Anna's owner Brittney she was laying in a bed nurse's all around her, her parents freaking out asking the doctor question. "Anna why is Brittney in the hospital?" "I don't know she couldn't breath and she has a fever."

They both heard a noise come from the alley it was Spike and Anna's father AL "Anna what have I told you about that wolf!" Spike shouted, AL pulled Hurtitt by his fur and throw him on the ground "stay away from my daughter!" he growled.

Anna tired to get in front of her dad, Spike grabed Hurtitt by his neck betting hard blooded started to come out "Spike leave him alone."

Spike ignored her and bet harder Hurtitt yelped and bet Spike's leg, Spike let go of Hurtitt and cried in pain "run Hurtitt run!" Anna cried, but Hurtitt didn't he tackled Spike pinning him to the ground showing his teeth at him Spike didn't dare to move Hurtitt was about to attack when he thought about what would happen if he attack him the human would come after him.

He got off Spike and ran back to his house "you better run!" yelled Spike, Anna tired to run after him but her father held her back "Hurtitt" she wispered.

Chapter 4

Hurtitt sat on his roof worried about Anna's owners what well happen to Anna or if he would ever see her again.

meanwhile Anna sat in front of the hospital worried about Brittney she didn't know what was wrong with her and the nurse's were still around her, her parents were crying Anna was really confused about what was going on. Then the nurse's started to move Brittney.

Anna was now really worried they went through the back door Anna ran as fast as she could to the back of the hospital.

The nurse's were putting her into a plane on the side of the red plane was a white cross with black writing ER Plane it read.

Anna ran to Britney's mom "no Anna stay" she said, the plane took off Anna ran after the plane she ran and ran until the plane was out of site "come back" she cried.

Hurtitt was about to go inside his house when a loud noise was coming from town he turned and a red plane flew above him.

"what the heck was that" he said to himself he then heard a dog barking he looked down to see Anna running after the plane.

He jumped down off the roof "Anna whats wrong?" he asked. "That plane took Britney!" she shouted "what! why?" Hurtitt asked.

"I don't know all I know is that she got worse and they took her away" Anna said still looking at the sky.

"Hurtitt im so scared whats going to happen to her?" Hurtitt looked at her than put his head down "than there is only one way to find out" Anna looked at him confused "what do you mean?" she asked.

"we are going to figure out where that plane is going" Hurtitt said going bakc to his house "what? Hurtitt thats crazy.

We don't even know where that plane is going and its the middle of winter" "well we know that the planes going south and it has a white cross and black writing" "buts there's a big storm coming and we don't know where its going, where its going to land."

Anna followed Hurtitt into his house "the storm is not going to come for awhile and we can find out where it is going" Hurtitt said "but it'll be to dangours" "look either you stay here and not figure out whats wrong with Britney or you and me can going find out" Hurtitt said looking at her.

Anna looked into his blue eyes seeing that he wanted to do this for her "ok fine well go" Hurtitt smiled Anna smiled back just than Achak with Russel and Luk came running into the house "get off me!"yelled Achak the two foxs where on top of Achak. 

"Achak me and Anna are leaving" Hurtitt said to Achak "but...but why, why are you going to leave me with these two?" Achak said finally getting them off him.

"cause Anna's owner was taken away and she wasn't to find" Hurtitt said walking out of the the house with Anna.

Achak ran outside "wait" he shouted Hurtitt stopped and turned around "you don't know the forest so well i'll go too" "what?" "yes i'll go I know this forest more than any of you" Achak said showing off to Anna.

"we wonna come too" said the two white foxs "no you two are not coming!" Achak yelled at them.

"please can we come" Russel begged. "Come on just let them come" Hurtitt said pushing Achak "alright fine but you are watching them!" he shouted walking in front of Hurtitt and Anna "yay!" yelled Russel and Luk running to Achak.

Hurtitt laughed as the two foxs jumped on top of Achak and hearing him yell at them.

Chapter 5

They were walking through the forest Hurtitt and Anna were watching Russel and Luk annoying Achak.

"so why do you live in that old house don't you have family or something?" Anna asked.

Hurtitt looked at Anna he folded his ears back "well I had a better home but my ummm....adopted parents were killed by a bear" Anna was shocked "im sorry" "its ok thely were better than my real parent i've never met my real parents so yeah."

Anna folded her ears back "and I thought my life was bad" she mumbled under her breathe. "Where are we?" Anna asked "ummm...I don't really know" "were near Anchorage!" yelled Achak trying to get the two foxs off him.

Hurtitt laughed at Achak, Anna on the other hand was walking away from them. Hurtitt saw Anna walking away "Anna what is it?"

Anna didn't looked at him "I thought I had a bad life until I meet you. everyones so mean to you but you still kind to everyone but me im not I let the other dogs pick on you i didn't saw anything to Spike or my dad when they hurt you" Anna paused and looked at Hurtitt "maybe thats why this is happening to my human she being puinshed because of me" "Anna don't think like that its not your fault you did the right thing by not doing anything Spike would have hurt you and I won't let that happen to you and your human got sick everyone gets sick its not your fault" Hurtitt said getting closer to Anna.

"come on you two we need to find a place to sleep its getting dark" Hurtitt pulled away from Anna.

  It was dark by the time they found a little cave they all could sleep in, Achak, Russel and Luk sleeped together but Hurtitt and Anna didn't Anna stayed at the end of the cave while Hurtitt stayed at the entrance of the cave. Anna didn't fall asleep she just had her eyes open think about her human, Hurtitt got up and walked out of the cave.

Outside the cave it had rocks all over the place Hurtitt climbed to the top of the cave and looked at the stars, Anna saw him leave she got up and followed him "Hurtitt what are you do?" she asked.

Hurtitt down and smiled "nothing just think" Anna jumped the rocks and sat next to Hurtitt "think about what?" "Im think that I kind of remember this place I don't know how I just do" Anna looked at him.

"I think my really mother took me here" Hurtitt said. "how do you remember her?" Anna asked "I don't know I was about a month old when she had to leave me, but I do remember what she looked like.

She was white with black tips on her paws her tail and on her ears. She has a dark gray fur mark of a moon like I do and a softed voice that always made me feel safe." Hurtitt smiled than looked at the stars "what about your father" Anna asked "yeah a remember him too I look a lot like him but he was all black and a dark gray fur mark of a moon aswhile. I think everyone in that wolf pack had a moon shape fur pach on there forhead" Hurtitt looked at the ground thinking.

"Would you ever try to find them?" "I what to but I can't leave Achak his like my father to me and he doesn't what to join a wolf pack or go looking for one" he said still looking at the ground "oh I see" Anna said "and also because I don't what to leave you."

Hurtitt looked into her red orange eyes "really" Anna asked "yes" Hurtitt whispered. Anna moved closer to him so did Hurtitt they nuzzled and looked at the stars together.

The next day they were in Anchorage, Anna looked for the plane all over the little town but there was no sign of the plane.

Hurtitt decied to go ask the dog down the street the dog were laughing at something but when they saw Hurtitt they stoped and looked at him "don't worry I won't hurt you I just need to ask you something.

" The dogs looked at each other than back at him "what is it?" one of the dogs asked "were looking for a red plane with a white cross and black words on it have you sene it?" the dog looked at each other "we haven't but there is on dog that would kow.

We'll bring you to him" Hurtitt had a smile and turned around to see the foxs playing with Achak again but Anna had tears in her eyes he walked over to her "whats wrong?" he asked sitting next to Anna "What if we can't find it I may never see Britney again" Hurtitt nuzzled her "don't worry well find her.

Come they know someone that might know where the plane is" Anna followed Hurtitt to the other dogs and followed the dogs to the little air port they had for planes. At the airport the dogs showed them to a big sheep dog named Jack, "Jack we need your help" yelled one of the dogs.

"what is it?" Jack said waking up from his nape "they need your help" and pointed to Anna, Hurtitt, Achak and the two foxs "while are you going to tell me" Jack said rudly.

"ummm...were looking for a red plane with a white cross and black writing on it" Hurtitt said "well there's a lot around here" Jack said pointing to all the planes.

Hurtitt looked and was shocked how many red planes there were "well have you sene one with that has a little girl in it?"

Jack looked around "yeah I did she was put into another plane" "well what plane?" Hurtitt said "a white plane with a red cross it only goes to one place Fairbanks about a two day hike."

Hurtitt turned to Anna who was smiling to hear that "thanks for the help" Anna said running out of the airport "any time" Jack said going back to sleep.

Chapter 6

Anna was in front of everyone she was exicted to know that she now knows where her human is. Hurtitt keeped stopping and hearing waht was going on "what is it?" Achak ask going next to Hurtitt.

"nothing I just hear something" Hurtitt said looking back "what do you think it is?" "Its sounds like a dog following us but it might be something else."

Hurtitt walked next to Anna and they started talking. Achak was walking when the two foxs jumped on top of him and made him eat snow. 

"get...off of me!" yelled Achak  the two foxs jumped off him and Achak started to growl at them "you two need to learn that you can't jump on me got it!" he shouted at them.

"yes Achak" they both said. Then the two started to throw snow balls at each other one hit Achak though and Achak was really mad now "what did I tell you two!" he shouted the two foxs hid behind a tree.

The two foxs stayed way behind Achak so they won't bug him they fell into a rabbit hole. When they got out a paw was right in front of him they looked up to see Spike showing his teeth at him.

They screamed and Hurtitt turned around and charged and Spike he jumped a on top of him pinning him to the ground "i've been waiting a long time to do this" Hurtitt said smiling.

Hurtitt bet into Spike's neck making him bleed Spike gasping for breath just than one of Spike's friend jumped on top of Hurtitt making him let go and getting off him.

Hurtitt finally through the dog off of him making the dog hit a tree and nocking him out "know its just you and me" Hurtitt said walking to Spike but another dog jumped onto him, Anna tried to help Hurtitt but Spike stoped her "I want you to watch what im going to do to that wolf" Spike whispered into her ear.

Spike got on top of Hurtitt and started to bet into his neck, Anna jumped on top of Spike "get off of him!" Anna cried.

Spike let go of Hurtitt neck and through Anna into a tree, Hurtitt was now pissed off and pulled the dog off him and through him into a tree that killed him.

Spike now frozen with fear looked at Hurtitt who had fire in his eyes "don't you ever touch her again!" Hurtitt rowred at him.

Spike was frozen with fear Hurtitt jumped on top of him pinning him down and bet into his neck, Hurtitt could tasted the blood in his mouth from Spike's neck.

Spike tried to get Hurtitt off him but Hurtitt did not let go in his mind he wanted to kill Spike but he looked at Anna who just woke up then looked at Russel, Luk and Achak they were all scared of what they were seeing Hurtitt do. I am a wolf he thought to himself and let go of Spike who was gasping for breath got off of him "get out of here" Hurtitt whispered to him.

Spike didn't saw anything just ran back home. Hurtitt walked pasted Russel, Luk and Achak who were trying to hid from him, Hurtitt stoped in front of Anna who was trying to get up "are you ok?' Hurtitt asked "yeah im fine its jsut a bures" Anna said looking at her back leg. Anna tried to get up again but couldn't Hurtitt helped her up "are you sure?" "yeah i'll be ok" Anna said nuzzling him but Hurtitt pulled away.

Hurtitt walked alone the whole way, Anna was worried about him she went were Achak was "whats wrong with Hurtitt?" Anna asked.

Achak looked at her than than at Hurtitt who had his head down in front of him. "When he was a pup he a week after his parent died he finally was himself again. One day he wanted to go through the town but he ran into Spike, Spike's dad was being really mean to Hurtitt and when he called him a wolf Hurtitt didn't know what that mean't and Spike's father told very mean what it mean't."

Achak paused for a minute "told him how?" Anna asked "he told him that a wolf is a mean, savage monster that kills everything" Achak folded his ears "he was so hurt about that he keep tell dogs that he's not a wolf because he would never do that" "so thats why he didn't kill Spike or even talk to me" Anna said with her ears back "yeah he told himself that he'll never do that to any dog" Anna was really upset she felt so bad of Hurtitt but was too afraid to talk to him.

It was dark the northern lights were up that night it was the perfect night. Hurtitt found a cave for them to sleep in everyone was getting ready for bed Russel Luk and Achak were already falling asleep Anna just layed down and looking for Hurtitt but he was leaving the cave his head still  down.

Anna followed him outside and say him on a rock looking at the northern lights Anna walk up behind them "Hurtitt" Hurtitt turned around "hey" Hurtitt said turning around and smiling at her.

"What are you doing?" Anna asked while sitting next to Hurtitt. "oh just looking at the northern lights" "what happened today?" Hurtitt looks at Anna "Achak told me what happened to you when you were a pup" Anna said.

"I am a wolf but I never acted like they said wolf act like or maybe its just cause I tried acting like a dog my whole life but today I now know I am a wolf" Hurtitt put his head back down.

"Hey being a wolf is not that bad I mean your a wolf and you are so nice I now know that not all wolves are bad" Anna said trying to cheer him up.

Hurtitt still  wasn't cheering up "but you saw how I attacked him I looked like a monster."

"You did it because his been bulling you your whole life, you just got tired of being bulled around so you did something about it" Anna looked serious at him.

Hurtitt looked at her "yeah but he picks on me because im wolf and if I attack him the human would kill me."

Hurtitt took a deep breathe "I just wish I could find somewhere I belong. Anna moved closer to him "you do belong here with me."

Hurtitt looked at Anna " I attacked Spike because he hurt you."

"Really" Anna said Hurtitt nodded "come with me I want to show you somethin."

Anna followed Hurtitt pasted a few bushs not far from the cave to a big meadow snow still covered it, the snow sparkled from the moon light touching the snow.

"Oh Hurtitt its beautiful" Anna said walking onto the meadow. "I thought you would" Hurtitt said walking next to Anna.

"But how did you know about this place?" Anna asked. "I saw it when you and the others were going in the cave."

Hurtitt ran right in the middle "come Anna!" he shouted. Anna started laughing and running near Hurtitt she pasted Hurtitt. "Well come on slow poke" Anna said running Hurtitt ran after Anna "Im going to get you!" he shouted.

Hurtitt and Anna raced each other all over the meadow laughing at each other, just than Anna tried to jump over Hurtitt but failed and landed on Hurtitt's stomach

they both started laughingat each other. "Im not that good at jumping" Anna said giggling.

Hurtitt laughed at her "no your not" he said still laughing at Anna. Anna pushed Hurtitt make him laugh harder. Hurtitt stopped laughing and looked at Anna, Anna put her head on Hurtitt's shoulder "Anna I love you" Hurtitt whispered into her ear.

Anna lifted up her head and looked shocking at Hurtitt than smiled "I love you too Hurtitt, I loved you since me and you were on your roof" "really" Hurtitt said with a big smile on his face. Then the two nuzzled so happy to hear that they both love each other.

Chapter 7

The next more Hurtitt were really happy they stayed by each other side the whole day. Luke and Russel were really confused about Hurtitt and Anna but Achak knew what was going on with the two.

Achak walked up to Hurtitt "so what did you two do last night?" he asked. They both looked at him than smiled "nothing we just found out how much we love each other" Anna said.

Achak smiled and walked away from the two to go play with Luke and Russel.

Hurtitt smiled at Anna "your so beautiful" Anna looked at him and smiled "thanks hun."

Hurtitt smiled than looked to see how Achak and the white fox brother were doing "be careful you guys" he yelled out.

Hurtitt and Anna went on talking when they heard a scream. "It came from Achak!" yelled Hurtitt. They over where they were and a big black was the first think they saw.

Hurtitt again froze not moving from his spot, Anna trying to get him to move "Hurtitt come on they need our help!"

Anna stoped moving him and ran to help the others, Hurtitt looking where Anna was going and followed he helped Anna get Ackak and the two foxs away from the bear.

Hurtitt was in front of them Anna was in the back, the bear grabed Anna by her hind leg and pulled her towards it.

"Help Hurtitt!" yelled Anna, Hurtitt turned around Anna was trying to get away from the bear.

Hurtitt froze memories of his mother came back the day they fought the bear. Anna screamed for help again making Hurtitt get out of his mind. He took a deep breathe and charged at the bear.

Hurtitt jumped onto the bear's back climbing up and bitting it on the ear. The bear rowred in pain giving Anna the chase to run "Anna run!" Hurtitt said.

Anna move far from the bear just than the bear hit Hurtitt and through him off making Hurtitt hit the ground hard. The bear walked near Hurtitt but Hurtitt was to tired to move from his spot. The bear lefted its paw up into the air ready to hit Hurtitt but Anna jumped onto the bear's head and bitting its ear. The bear backed up flipping its head making Anna fall off right in front of the bear. Hurtitt got up fast jumped onto the bear face the bear flew up onto its two feet and walked backwards near a cliff. The bear was losing its balance Hurtitt trying to get off the bear before it feel but the bear held onto to him. Once both were over the cliff the bear let go of Hurtitt."No!" Anna sreamed as she watch Hurtitt fall to the ground.

Anna looked all around for Hurtitt he was no where near the bear "where is he?" Anna shouted at Achak.

"I don't know" Achak said folding his ears down "Anna I think he's gone." Achak placed his head down looking away from the cliff.

"No!" Anna said looking for away down. "Anna there's no way down there unless you jump!"Achak shouted.

Anna had tears in her eyes "there's got to be another way down" Achak looked down the cliff "there's a storm coming you Luk and Russel go to Fairbank its not that far from here i'll go down and look for him."

Anna looked at Achak "alright just please find him" with that Anna left with Luk and Russel.

Chapter 8

It was dark, than a bright light shown the light was bright as the sun. Than two shadows stood right in the middle "mom dad" Hurtitt said.

The two dogs smile "son its not time for you to go you have something big to do" Jeff said.

Hurtitt was confused was it Anna he had to take care of or was it something else.

"Why did you leave me?" Hurtitt asked, it was dead silant for a secound "cause you did need us anymore" Ginger said with a soft voice.

"But I still needed you I was confused, hurt and scared I still needed a father and mother in my life." Hurtitt said with angry in his voice.

"You didn't you meet so many without us and learned how to be on your own, being a wolf" Jeff said.

Hurtitt looked at them "thank you" the two looked at him. Hurtitt stood up and huged his parents "thank you for everything I love you" the two huged him back "we love you and we well always be with you."

Hurtitt woke up he was laying in the snow his body was in pain he couldn't get up he lay there think about his parents was it just a dream he thought. The storm just started it blow hard the snow stung when it hit him.

He than smelled something he looked up to see a black wolf looking at him. It had the same gray moon shape spot in his forhead green eyes starring at him.

"Hurtitt" the wolf said, Hurtitt was shocked "get up!" the wolf shouted at him.

Hurtitt did what he was told he strugled to get up but finally got up. "How do you know my name?" he asked.

The wolf smiled "I've been watching you since the day you were born."

Hurtitt was confused "how?"

"Hurtitt im your father's spirit" the wolf said standing proud.

"What! how?!" Hurtitt demanded. "Your mother and I could not keep you safe anymore I died save you and your mother's life she than had to hide you to keep you safe. She hid you in the old shed outside of town until it was safe but when she return she saw you with a family she and I knew it would be better for you until things got better with the wolf pack we were fighting."

Hurtitt was froze from what he heard "but why didn't mother come when I was alone?"

"Cause the war got worse and she could raise you like that" the wolf said fustraded with all the questions.

"Your mother needs your help the pack is lost without a leader she tired to lead the wolf pack but she can not do it anymore."

Hurtitt looked at his father "but I don't know how to be a leader."

"Its in your blood I well help as much as I can but you need to come with me" the wolf started to run into the deep part of the forest.

Hurtitt started to follow than he heard someone calling his name it was Achak "what!" he said

The wolf stoped and looked at hid son "I need to saw goodbye to Anna."

The wolf looked confused but nodded "alright I well wait for you outside of Fairbank."

Hurtitt looked at him than turn and ran towards Achak voice.

Achak called for Hurtitt he was now far from where the bear fell "wow Hurtitt really rolled" he said to himself.He than heard something running near him but could not see with the snow blowing the sound was closer Achak was freaking out than something jumped on top of him.

The voice was laughing "what Hurtitt your alive now get off me!" Achak shouted.

Hurtitt stoped laughing "where's Anna I have to tell her something."

"I told her to go ahead to Fairbank while I look for you" Achak said huging his good friend.

Hurtitt started running "come on Achak we need to get to her before she find her human!" he shouted.

Anna was walking really slow the two foxs were behind her their ears folded.

Anna had tears in her eyes her head down she walked over a hill there she saw Fairbank part of her was happy to finally be in Fairbank but the part was upset she just lost someine that she loved and loved her.

She was half way there when a howl came the forest she turned to see a figure standing on the hill she look closer it was Hurtitt.

"Hurtitt!" she screamed and ran were he was leeping with joy.

Hurtitt fan as well faster than ever they might right in the middle Anna jumped on top of Hurtitt. They laugh nuzzling each other.

Anna finally got off of Hurtitt "come on we need to find Britney now!" she shouted with joy running towards town.

But Hurtitt didn't move "Anna I can't" he said sanding were he was.

Anna walked back to him "why?"

Hurtitt folded his ears back "cause I don't belong there and I found my birth father he said my family his pack in trouble he said they need me." Hurtitt put his head down.

Anna had a little smile on "if they need you than you must go." she said nuzzling him.

Hurtitt nuzzled back "really."

"Yes just promise you'll come back" Anna said.

"Yes of course, I promise" and the both huged each other for the longest time.

Achak, Luk and Russel were starting to cry. Hurtitt huged all of them "I'll miss you guys take care of each other" and looked back at Anna "I promise to come back soon just take care of Britney until I come back" and nuzzled her.

Than he heard a howl he turn and his father was on the hill waiting for him to return home with him.

"I got to go, I will love you forever" Hurtitt said and ran back to his father.

Before leaving he looked back at Anna and his best friend and gave one big howl goodbye and than disapered into the forest.
