Part 1

Raiden’s blue eyes slowly opened as he looked up in to the eyes of his loving mother and father who smiled as they looked down at their son. Smiling Raiden instantly knew that they were his parents who else could those loving faces be? Beside him his small sister Aniu opened her brown eye and both parents looked at each and smiled. The spirit Pack Alphas had had pups who were heir to there throne.

Small puppy Raiden jumped up playfully as his pup sitters legs as the pup sitter frowned and walked away as Raiden played with their tail biting it with his sharp little teeth. He was completely black except for two white spots on the top of his ears his sister was the complete opposite Aniu had pure white fur, brown eyes and black tips at the top of her ears. Aniu was calm and collected whilst her brother was loud and adventurous, he loved to explore and always wished to be older so he could explore the world, but unknown to both of them they had pre-determined destiny’s that the elders had already picked out for them.

From some small bushes Raiden’s dad Jazer walked out and both Raiden and Aniu ran forward to greet their father who smiled down at them.

‘Dad lets go exploring the pup-sitter won’t let me go any where!’ Raiden said jumping around playfully at his fathers legs.

‘Not today son, today Aniu must come with me.’ His father finished as Aniu looked up at her father and walked towards him as Raiden sat back down looking disappointed. Raiden watched as his sister and his father walked away leaving him alone as black clouds began to form in the distance.

As Raiden laid in the small den with his pup-sitter outside the thunder and rain scared him and he cowered at the back of the cave wanting nothing more then his mother to come and comfort him, but unknown to him his parents at that exact moment were predetermining his fate.

‘We can not risk letting this pup live!’ One of the elders barked at the Alphas whilst Aniu slept as her mothers feet oblivious to the storm outside. ‘Tamaya being the daughter of the Great Spirit Pack Alpha before you, you must agree with me?’ The elder turned to Raidens mother Tamaya who sighed as she looked at her mate who looked just as concerned,

‘I will not have my only son killed.’ She said sternly looking at the small gathering of elders who all looked very old and frail.

‘If that pup lives we have foretold he will bring our destruction this can not be prevented in anyway my Alpha.’ An elderly female said looking at Tamaya who frowned slightly.

‘Raiden will not be harmed; if he is you will answer to me.’ Tamaya said standing up and turning around as an elder stepped forward.

‘See, he is already turning us against each other.’ Stopping Tamaya looked back at the elder and at Aniu who was now cuddled up beside her father.

‘What about my daughter Aniu?’ She asked solemnly.

‘She will bring prosperity and peace to our land…ying and yang were never meant to be Tamaya so listen to me please.’

‘I stand by my thoughts; my son will not be harmed.’

‘He will not be harmed if you promise…if we all promise that no one influences him. This means we must avoid contact at all costs if he turns on us he’ll kill us all…’ The elder looks around, ‘…with no one influencing then he will not be influenced to fulfill his destiny, we must make sure that young Aniu fulfils hers but her brother never gets the chance.’

Tamaya growled low as she shook her head and turned around, ‘My son will have the same pup hood and be treated like your future Alpha understand me?’ All the elders nodded as Tamaya marched outside in to the cold rain.

Meanwhile in the small den silver tears slowly slid down Raidens face as he looked up at the den entrance waiting for his mother, but his mother never came and the small pup cried himself to sleep cowering at the back of a cold damp cave with only a teenage pup-sitter who cared not for his wellbeing as she laid down trying to sleep.

Slowly the rain cleared as Tamaya sat on a large rock and looked up in to the sky with a sad face. How could her son bring destruction to her pack? The Spirit Pack was famous for being one of peace and serenity they always cared for each other so then why must he pack turn on this heritage? What was destined for her only son Raiden?

Weeks later whilst Raiden and Aniu were playing outside their den under the watchful eye of their father Jazer a wolf bounded out from the forest and ran up to Jazer and began whispering to him causing the two small pups to turn around and watch them.

‘Why is dad so upset Raiden?’ Aniu asked turning to Raiden who looked at his father who was hanging his head low tears swelling up in his eyes.

‘I don’t know Aniu…’ Raiden said looking at his father whilst inside the small pup had a horrible feeling.

‘Being the dominate male only because my mate was of royal blood means that her bloodline must continue and until young Aniu is old enough to take over Tamaya’s brother Revalis will be the new Alpha…’

Stepping forward a large black and brown wolf looked down at the pack and at Raiden and Aniu who were both equally upset at the death of their mother. Raiden turned to look at the elders who all look pleased and at that moment his eyes flashed but he didn’t get to say anything because someone picked him up and began to carry him away from his sister.

‘Where am I going?’ Raiden asked looking up at the wolf as he waved to his sister who watched her brother leave. When the wolf didn’t answer Raiden continued by saying, ‘When can I go and play with Aniu again?’ Still the wolf didn’t answer as he walked further and further away from his sister and father not knowing that the death of his mother was only the beginning.

Although the Spirit Pack was foretold to be a pack that cared for each of its members this has suddenly changed when a pup born to the Alpha's scares the elders in to believing he will bring their destruction. The spirit has now completely changed and with the suspicious death of the Alpha Female and Raiden being excluded the future does not look bright for the tiny innocent pup.

Part 2
The wind blew harshly in the cold storm that wrecked havoc on the trees and sent small creatures running for cover, but one remained above ground. He was tall, had pitch black fur except for snow white tips on the tops of his ears and blue eyes that shone as lightning streaked across the sky and rain slowly began to fall instantly drenching his coat.

Pearly white teeth shone in the dark as he looked up in to the sky ignoring the rain, ignoring the thunder which sounded like the world was ending and ignoring the lightning that flashed like an evil smirk across the sky. Raiden was no longer the small helpless pup he had once been, he was now just over two years old but his lonely life and exclusion from normal life had taken its toll making him look much older then the young adolescent he was.

His life had been nothing his mother had promised it would be, a life of happiness and joy was taken away from him. He had lived alone as an outcast of the pack looked after only by the few who dared looking after him, each simply feeling sorry for the pup and taking pity on him.

From the darkness a white glow suddenly appeared and walked up beside Raiden it was his sister Aniu and her pure white coat shone like the stars in the sky and her brown eye so drenched in emotion they seemed speak words without her saying a thing. She looked up at her estranged brother and anyone around would have instantly felt a connection between them, they were brother and sister. All Raiden had was her and he would protect her with his life. The two wolves stood side by side and as they did it was clear that both of them were opposites of each other but that only made the bond between them stronger.

Finally looking down at his sister Raiden smiled a true smile that spoke words of trust and friendship that he could not express with words. Throughout the years Aniu had come many many times to visit her brother keep him company during the night, help him through the hard times, Raiden could never express the gratitude he felt to her. Aniu was treated like a princess in the Spirit Pack, she was the one foretold to bring hope, new life and victory to the pack whilst he was cursed to bring destruction and sorrow.

Slowly the two turned around and walked back towards a den where they hurried inside sheltering from the storm that was outside, and as soon as they were in the den Aniu turned to her brother.

‘How are you today Raiden?’ She said softly looking at her brothers eyes that couldn’t hide the hurt and sorrow he’d felt over the years.

‘It’s just another day sister, no more do I feel the sadness, I only hope for happiness.’ He smiled and looked back at her ‘I’ve been listening to the elders to much.’

‘You really shouldn’t spy on them they will find out.’ Aniu smirked.

‘As far as they care I’m nothing so I doubt as much I would make any difference.’ Raiden looked down at the ground before saying bitterly ‘How is my father?’

Aniu looked sad, she had a very strong connection with her father where as Raiden cared not for his well being but still wanted to know the progress of his him. ‘With every day he grows weaker I fear time is flying away from us.’ Seeing the tears in his sisters eyes Raiden sighed and smiled up at her.

‘His death will bring you to the throne Aniu, you should be very proud, I’m sure mother would be.’ Putting his hatred for his father beside him to comfort his sister was something that Raiden knew he had to do for his sister.

‘She’d be proud of you to…’ She didn’t finish because Raiden laughed and turned around.

‘Be proud of what? Look at what I have become, I was to co-rule this pack with you, the greatest pack in the world, and yet here I stand a broken wolf, with broken dreams and a heart according to the elders so cold that I will destroy them.’ Looking down at the ground Raiden knew he couldn’t cry because when he was young he was so sure he had cried a river that he could no longer cry any anymore.

Aniu slowly walked up and sat beside her brother knowing how lonely and sad he tried was and so she tried comfort him but failed to find the right words.

‘I may not be able to find the right words to help you Raiden but I believe I have discovered something that will return your reputation…’ Raiden looked up looking shocked and not understanding.

‘I thought that was impossible Aniu we’ve tried everything all I can do is wait here until the elders see that I am not evil and I pose no threat.’

Aniu turned to Raiden and whispered in to his ear and as soon as she had finished Raiden smile widens and his eyes flashed like the lightning just above them. He turned to his sister and stood back up and looked out the den.

‘Time is indeed flying away Aniu…’ Raiden smiled as Aniu walked up beside he brother and together they watched the lightning show in the sky.

Part 3
Raiden waited patiently in some trees as he watched his sister approach Revalis her uncle and the Alpha of the Spirit Pack who had ruled with an iron paw, a tyrant whom the elders thought was really the wolf who would bring their destruction.

‘Revalis, it has been over a year now and I am now old enough to take my mothers place in ruling the Spirit pack.’ Aniu said looking at her uncle who glared down at her with his brown eyes.

‘No Aniu you are not ready.’ He said simply and turned around and began to walk away but Aniu saw him and quickly ran up and stood in front of him.

‘Ask the elders, I have completed my training I am more then ready.’ As she finished Revalis growled slightly it was obvious he did want to give up his position.

‘Listen to me Aniu you are not ready.’ He growled looking right down at her. Raiden from the trees couldn’t hear what they were saying but didn’t want to risk walking forward and being seen so he remained where he was. Revalis was about to walk away again but Aniu quickly stood back in front of him making him snarl and in an instant he raised his paw and hit the side of her face causing her to stumble the ground. ‘Do not disobey my orders I am the Alpha of this pack and you’ll to best to remember that my niece.’

Raiden who was watching from the side gasped as he watched his sister being hurt and instantly he stood up and his eyes flashed blue and he growled showing his sharp white teeth as he walked forward towards Revalis who instantly turned around.

‘Raiden…’ He snarled ‘leave my land!’ he ordered but Raiden ignored him as he walked forward. Revalis took a step back as he watched Raiden, ‘Listen to me!’ He yelled but again Raiden ignored him and as soon as Raiden was close enough he leapt at Revalis with such speed and agility that Revalis didn’t have to react.

‘Raiden!’ Aniu yelled as she watched the two fight only seeing flashes of black and brown. Hearing his sisters voice Raiden’s eyes slowly went back to normal as he looked down to see a petrified Revalis pinned beneath him covered in blood. Gasping Raiden quickly jumped away from Revalis who slowly stood up looking scared.

‘Revalis I…I…’ Raiden tried to explain as he took a step forward but Revalis suddenly stepped back away from him looking scared as his mouth opened but nothing seemed to come out. ‘The elders are right!’ Revalis yelled as he slowly started to back up away from Raiden as Aniu walked up beside her brother watching as Revalis quickly ran away with his tail between his legs.

‘Aniu I’m sorry I don’t know what came over me.’ Raiden said looking down at the ground the taste of blood on his muzzle making him shiver. Nuzzling her brother Aniu looked at him with her deep brown eyes and sighed.

‘You have never known Revalis my brother…he will not be back…’ Aniu said looking after him.

‘What will you tell the others?’ Raiden said looking up at Aniu knowing that their plan had failed and now he’d never be accepted back in to the pack.

‘Revalis is a coward and will not return he knows that if the Spirit Pack ever found out he’d hit me…the future alpha of the spirit pack he’d be exiled anyway.’ Aniu sighed and smiled a little looking up at her brother. ‘It’s time for you my brother to take your place by my side and we will both rule the Spirit Pack just as out parents did before us.’

Raiden smiled and for the first time in a long time was truly happy as both wolves walked deeper in to the Spirit Packs lands to find the elders.

As he walked the familiar sites and smells of his old lands hit him, it was as though he had never left he remember certain trees and paths, their hunting grounds and they even walked past the Alpha den which no longer smelt of his parents but rather of the brute Revalis who had abused his power. Holding his head up high Raiden knew that he had done good for the pack. How could they even kick him out of the pack now? He has shown he will not bring their destruction, how could he if just got rid of the tyrant pack leader senting the wolves free and letting his sister Aniu become the new Alpha?

Meanwhile at a clearing Jahar the main elder was sitting down in the sun shocking up its warm rays as a younger wolf ran up beside him puffing and panting.

‘Jahar I just saw Aniu and Raiden coming this way!’ The wolf seemed in a panic and looked as though he had just seen a ghost.

‘Calm down young pup I will deal with the destroyer.’ He turned to the wolf beside him ‘Now leave quickly they can’t see you talking to me.’ Nodding the brown wolf quickly jumped around and began to run away.

From the trees Aniu suddenly appeared standing tall with her brother beside her looking worried as Jahar slowly turned around. ‘Aniu I…’

‘Speak not to me until I have told you why elder…’ Aniu started and when she was sure he was listening she started again, ‘Revalis the Alpha Male has been chased away by my brother. When I told my uncle that it was time for me to take over as the Alpha he refused and attacked me, if it wasn’t for Raiden he may have killed me.’ Finishing Aniu looked over at Jahar who didn’t seem that interested.

‘Listen to me Alpha your brother has already had his destiny planned out as have you and nothing will change that.’ Growling low in the background Raiden was about to say something when another black and white wolf burst from the trees and stopped in front of Aniu.

‘Aniu the Orion pack have just invaded our lands!’ Aniu looked shocked as she turned around looking at Raiden who just looked more confused.

Part 4
‘I thought we were at peace with the Orion Pack?’ Raiden asked as he watched his sister pace in front of him.

‘I thought we were to. What would give them a right to invade my land we have never broken our words we’ve never ventured on to their land.’ Finally sitting down Aniu sighed she was unsure what to do and deep down inside she had a horrible feeling that maybe making her the Alpha to help her brother wasn’t a good idea after all.

Meanwhile the elder Jahar was growling as he paced around in circles in front of a group of a few wolves. ‘How can Aniu let that thing back in to the pack? He will kill us all!’ He spluttered.

‘But elder if Raiden brought down Revalis and scared him away without even a scratch can’t that be used to our advantage?’ Another wolf smiling and stepping forward as Jahar stopped and turned to them.

‘Explain.’ Muttered Jahara

‘If these Orion wolves intend on invading our land maybe Raiden can help us, he can kill so many wolves so then we won’t be risking our necks and maybe if we’re lucky the Orion Pack will do the job of taking care of him without the Alpha Aniu finding out.’ The wolf smiled as Jahar turned to him; it sounded like a good plan to him.

‘Alpha Aniu we must attack these wolves before they kill anymore of the Spirit Pack.’ Jahar said standing tall in front of Aniu who had called a meeting of all the wolves in the Spirit Pack together to try and think of an idea.

‘I don’t want to risk any ones lives.’ Aniu said looking down at the ground.

‘We must have an attack and it should be lead by Raiden…’ Jahar said as everyone turned to look at Raiden who looked shocked, only a day ago Jahar was pulling every excuse out of the book to try and get him banished again and yet suddenly he wanted him to lead an attack?

‘Why this sudden change of heart?’ Raiden sneered stepped forward towards Jahar who instinctively took a step back away from him.

‘If you were to prove yourself then I will have no quarrel in letting you back into the Spirit Pack.’ Aniu growled as she stepped forward beside her brother.

‘Don’t forget I am the Alpha and my brother Raiden has already been accepted back into my pack.’

‘No Aniu wait, he speaks the truth if I prove myself in battle no one here will have reason to fear me.’ Raiden said turning to Aniu who still looked unsure as she whispered.

‘Raiden you have nothing to prove!’

‘Yes I do please let me do this.’ Raiden said looking up at his sister with a smile on his face. Aniu rolled her eyes as she stood back away from Raiden and looked at all the wolves who had gathered at the meeting.

‘Raiden will lead a first wave of attack, if it looks as though you are greatly outnumbered then retreat I will not let my pack be slaughtered.’ A loud chorus of whispers broke out throughout the entire pack as they all looked at each other. Slowly the strongest wolves stepped forward up to Raiden who smiled down at them which seemed to scare them as they quickly looked away.

‘Follow me and remember to work together we are fighting for our land!’ Raiden said loudly as he turned around and began to run in to the forest. For a moment no one seemed to follow but slowly the other wolves quickly followed after him. Once they were all gone Aniu frowned and looked at Jahar who had a large smirk on his face. Slowly Aniu turned around and walked away the guilty pit in her stomach getting worse and worse.

As soon as Raiden and the others were at the border of their land an onslaught of Orion wolves attacked them. As the fight proceeded Raiden showed how strong he was and saved many Spirit pack wolves but just as he was about to attack another wolf a different wolf jumped in front of him causing him to stop and look at them. The wolf had golden brown eyes and had white and grey fur that seemed to shine in the dying sunlight. Suddenly the wolf lunged at him causing him to blink and quickly jump out of the way. ‘Why hello…’ Raiden smirked as the two circled each other.

‘Hello there yourself blue eyes.’ The wolf sneered as she lunged at him again but missed.

‘I’m Raiden.’ He said holding his head up as he looked at the wolf in front of him who looked so beautiful, all his thoughts on attacking her seemed to drift away. Noticing his guard was down she leapt at him knocking his to the ground as she leapt beside him ready to bite down but she stopped as Raiden just looked dazed up at her.

‘Attack me then Raiden!’ She snarled, as Raiden smirked as he quickly stood up and whisked around knocking her to the ground.

‘Maybe if you were a match for me.’ He laughed as the wolf slowly got up and frowned

‘I’m more then a match…’ Before she could finish she heard a howl and she quickly looked back at Raiden before turning around and running away.

‘No wait!” Raiden yelled out after her as she disappeared in to the trees leaving Raiden to look out after her with a smug look on his face.

Part 5

‘Raiden….Raiden…’ Came the voice of a wolf as Raiden turned around to look at him.

‘Yes what is it?’ The wolf seemed to slink back at the sound of Raiden voice.

‘We should report back to Aniu for some reason they have retreated.’ Nodding to himself Raiden turned around from where the wolf he had met had ran off to before walking slowly back towards the elders as the night started to close in around them.

As Raiden walked all he could think about was the wolf he had met, she was so full of sprit and he couldn’t get the image of her out of his head, she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen and he didn’t even know her name. Everything that had happened during the battle seemed blurred to him, he couldn’t even remember what had happened because his head was in the clouds.

Once he and the others where back Aniu instantly ran up to Raiden and sighed in relief that he was alright. ‘What happened, was any one hurt?’ Aniu quickly asked but Raiden didn’t answer as he just smiled to himself.

Another wolf named Cuan quickly stepped forward ‘Alpha we lost two members but before the battle could continue any longer they retreated…we are not sure why.’

‘If they attacked us first why would they be the first to retreat from the first battle?’ Aniu asked herself as she dropped her head the haunting images of those who had died in her memory but she knew she didn’t have time to weep over them she had to wait till the battle was over, she couldn’t let her guard down. ‘Everyone rest tonight we will discuss more tomorrow…Cuan take two wolves and patrol the borders we must make sure the Orion pack don’t launch a surprise attack whilst we sleep.’ Nodding Cuan quickly took two wolves and began to walk back towards the border.

‘Wait!” Raiden called out running after them, ‘Let me come with you.’

Cuan and the others were too scared to refuse because they thought if they said no the destroyer would kill them, so they simply nodded and Raiden ran after them.

The night was cold and crisp and it wasn’t long before Raiden quickly split from the others as he walked in to the Orion’s pack lands easily avoiding the guards who were half asleep. He was looking for someone and it wasn’t long before he found them. The wolf he had seen that day was sitting on her own looking up at the moon, smiling up at her Raiden slowly walked forward causing to jump in surprise and turn around growling.

‘Please don’t call out I won’t hurt you…’ Raiden said quietly as the two looked at each other.

‘How dare you walk upon my land, I can kill you for this you trespasser.’

‘Kill me then.’ Raiden smirked walking forward and as he walked in to the moonlight she could see that he was the same wolf she had seen that afternoon.

‘Blue eyes…’ She muttered as she quickly stood up. ‘For the last time leave my land…’ She didn’t get to finish because Raiden quickly interrupted her.

‘My names Raiden not blue-eyes so now may I know the name of this beautiful wolf standing before me?’ he asked slyly looking at the wolf who was blushing under her coat.

‘My names Sora, the Alpha Heir of the Orion Pack.’ She said proudly holding her head up high.

‘I wouldn’t care if you were Sora Omega of the Orion pack.’ Raiden said smiling as he stepped closer, but Sora quickly stood back away from him.

‘No closer or I swear I’ll call my father and he’ll kill you.’ Sora spat angrily as Raiden heeded her words and sat down where he was. There was a silence between them as Raiden looked up at the moon and Sora watched him carefully. She knew she should call out to her pack so they could come and save her but for some strange reason she didn’t need to be saved it was clear that this wolf Raiden posed no threat. ‘Tell me the truth why do you walk upon my land?’ She asked as Raiden turned to look at her.

‘Don’t you believe me?’ Raiden asked looking at her as she looked away. ‘I came here to find you…’

‘You don’t even know me.’ Sora said frowning looking back at him.

‘And you don’t know me so then how can we be enemies if we don’t even know why we are fighting?’ Raiden said truthfully.

‘Don’t trick me into saying anything about my pack.’ She said quickly as Raiden stood back up and walked over and stood beside her but for some reason she didn’t move, she felt safe beside him.

‘I’m not here to trick you…’

‘Please leave.’ Sora said standing up and walking away from him as he looked after her.

Before she was out of sight Raiden quickly called out to her ‘Can I see you again?’ She stopped but didn’t turn around, ‘Met me tomorrow night at the border where the river flowing from the mountain enters the sea?’ He asked as she kept walking away Raiden looking after her.

Sighing Raiden turned back around towards his own pack lands and he ran as fast as he could till he crossed the border and entered his own pack lands. Cuan who was on patrol watched carefully as he saw Raiden run back on their lands, looking confused Cuan quickly turned back around to find Jahar and tell him what he had seen Raiden the destroyer doing.

Part 6

‘You what!’ Jahar cried out causing Caun to slink back away from him. ‘I knew he would bring our destruction but who could have thought he would work together with the Orion pack in doing so!’

‘We should tell Aniu…’ Caun said standing back up as Jahar quickly shook his head.

‘No she has too many troubles at the moment then to worry about her brother…’ Turning to Caun Jahar sighed before saying, ‘get some guards and watch him day and night we need to see if he really is a traitor before we tell Aniu.’

‘Sir I believe strongly we tell Aniu she is the Alpha now.’ Caun retorted not wanting to go behind his alpha’s back, the punishment if she found out would be horrible.

‘Listen to me Caun we need to protect the Alpha and this is only way we can do that.’ Jahar argued back as Caun sighed and nodded as he slinked away in the shadows. Once he was gone Jahar smiled to himself as he laid back down, everything Raiden did was falling in to his plan the destroyer would be gone within the week.

As the sun rose the next morning Raiden slowly opened his eyes to see Aniu standing in front of him with a stern look on her face. ‘You didn’t report back last night.’ She said looking down as Raiden slowly stood back up and stretched out his legs.

‘I thought Caun or one of the others would.’

‘No one did, so tell me now.’ Aniu said sternly. She wasn’t normally so strict but with her territory under threat she had over night become very serious, a true leader.

‘I didn’t see anything, all was quiet. I’m still not sure why they retreated so quickly I was sure they were winning?’ Raiden said looking confused up at Aniu who turned around.

‘Find Marrek for me and tell him to come see me as soon as possible.’ She said looking back at Raiden who quickly nodded before walking away but before he was gone he stopped and turned back to his sister.

‘You’re doing a good job Aniu…’ With that he quickly bounded away to find Marrek the wolf.

It wasn’t long before he found Marrek who was still asleep and brought him back to Aniu who quickly told him to run over to the Orion Pack-Lands and ask for a truce so that she and the alpha male there could meet.

‘Alpha I could be killed.’ Marrek said sounding worried as he looked up at Aniu.

‘No tell them Aniu Alpha of the Spirit Pack sent you with a message….’

‘Yeah don’t worry they’ll only kill you if they don’t like what you’re saying.’ Raiden laughed not seeing the serious side as both Aniu and Marrek looked at him a frowned. Marrek who was a very obedient wolf nodded as he ran towards the border.

‘Aniu why don’t we fight I know we can defeat them!’ Raiden said walking up beside his sister who shook her head.

‘Fighting isn’t the only way that peace can be achieved, sometimes compromise can save hundreds if done correctly. I will not fight needlessly and lose members of my pack and I’m sure the Alpha of the Orion Pack feels the same.’

‘They attacked us first they have no excuse!” Raiden snapped back at Aniu who frowned.

‘Not everything has to be solved with violence, the Spirit Pack are not fighters.’

‘Maybe it’s time we were.’ Raiden said frowning slightly. When Aniu didn’t say anything Raiden simply walked away leaving Aniu sitting down on her own thinking about her brother and whether he was right was she really dooming her pack by not wanting to fight?

As night came Raiden waited patiently by the river on the border wondering whether or not Sora would come. In the shadows on the other side of the river Sora watched Raiden carefully wondering whether or not to come forward. She had never met anyone quiet like him, she was his enemy but still he pursued her friendship and no one had ever called her beautiful before. Slowly she walked out of the shadows and in to the moonlight and as soon as Raiden saw her he smiled as he stood up and ran across the shallow river to the other side. ‘Hello Sora.’ He said smiling up at her.

‘What do you want blue-eyes?’ She said looking down at him.

‘Follow me!’ Raiden said jumping excitedly in the water splashing some on to Sora’s face making her laugh slightly as she quickly followed him.

‘Where are we going?’ Sora asked as she followed Raiden through the thick forest until she broke through some undergrowth and saw the glowing ocean with the full moon above them. ‘Wow…’ Sora said smiling as she ran on to the beach watching the waves roll upon the golden sand.

‘My mother used to take me here when I was a pup, I never thought I’d see anything as beautiful but I was wrong…’ Raiden said walking up beside Sora and looking deep in her eyes as she blushed under her fur. Looking at Raiden Sora licked the side of his face before quickly running along down the beach, laughing Raiden quickly ran after her and they ran down along the beach in the moonlight.

As the night drew on both wolves stopped and laid down on the sand watching the waves roll ashore.

‘Oh blue eyes you’re such a charmer…’ Sora laughed as Raiden smiled slyly at her. ‘But why do you like me?’ She looked away from him.

‘I’ve never met anyone with such determination. I only wish you could come back with me, my sister Aniu…’

‘Aniu.’ Sora said instantly standing up and looking down at Raiden.

‘Sora what’s wrong?’ Raiden quickly asked standing up.

‘Your sister is Aniu that means your…your what the elders spoke about…’ Raiden gasped as he frowned and turned around.

‘Does this curse have to follow me every where I go?’ Raiden said to himself as Sora watched him. ‘Every since I was a pup wolves have been scared of me, but I’ve never done anything, all I want is to live normally and not have wolves ran away scared.’ Handing his head low Raiden didn’t notice as Sora slowly walked up and stood beside him.

‘I knew you were special…’ She said softly as Raiden looked up at her. ‘My father was scared that the destroyer would kill our pack, thats why we attacked your land he wanted to make sure you weren’t a threat to us…’ Sighing Raiden began to walk away but Sora quickly ran up and stood in front of him, ‘...Although I can now assure him we have nothing to fear.’ Looking up at Sora Raiden smiled.

‘Even though the elders have never been wrong you’ll take that chance and trust me?’ Raiden asked. Smirking to herself Sora walked forward hitting the side of Raidens face with her tail.

‘Of course because I’ve never felt this way about someone before…’ She laughed as she started to run back down along the beach as Raiden watched her with starry eyes as he ran after her. What was this feeling he was feeling? All he knew was that when he was with her the world didn’t seem so bad anymore.

From the bushes Caun watched the two with a frown on his face as he instantly reared around to find Jahar and tell him that Raiden was indeed the traitor.

The next morning when Raiden had made sure Sora had gotten back to her land safely Raiden quickly returned to his den but when he arrived he saw Jahar and a few others all standing their watching him.

‘What do you want?’ Raiden said looking at the wolves whom he hated. Before anyone could say anything a group of wolves leapt on Raiden pinning him on the ground so he couldn’t move. ‘Let me go!’ Raiden yelled as Jahar walked up and stood in front of him.

‘You’re a tartior Raiden and right at this very moment I have ordered all wolves of the Spirit Pack to attack the Orion pack and kill every last wolf they see.’

‘But Aniu said…’

‘Aniu can’t run this pack so whilst she waits on the hilltop for the Alpha male to arrive so they can discuss a truce I have taken charge.’ Raiden’s eyes opened wide but he couldn’t move because all the wolves had him pinned down on the ground. Jahar smiled as he slowly walked away from Raiden who still struggled hard against the wolves who had him pinned down.

Meanwhile on the hilltop Aniu, Jazer and Marrek all stood waiting for the Alpha male of the Orion pack to come forward. Turning to Marrek Aniu asked ‘Are you sure he said that today he would come here and talk to me?’

‘Yes.’ Marrek nodded as the three wolves looked out towards the distance none of them knowing what was going on below them.

‘Don’t worry daughter this is for the best a truce will make sure no more wolves are killed.’ Jazer reassured Aniu who smiled weakly at him as she waited.

Feeling the anger rise inside of him Raiden shut his eyes for a moment and when they opened they were glowing blue and instantly he reared up throwing all the wolves holding him away. Once they had all stood up they looked at him scared. ‘Please Raiden we didn’t mean to…’ One of them said as they slinked away but Raiden wasn’t listening.

‘Tell me where the wolves are attacking the Orion Pack.’ He snarled.

‘Near the border, Jahar has been planning this ever since Caun saw you with that Orion Pack wolf.’ The wolf pleaded as Raiden walked further forward.

‘Tell me what really happened to my mother.’ Raiden yelled so loud the birds in the trees flew away.

‘Jahar had her killed to make sure you didn’t stay in the pack, he was scared that your destiny would come true and you destroy our pack.’ For a moment Raiden softened until he growled as he swiftly turned around and ran towards the border with only one though in his mind.

As he reached the border his eyes slowly came back to normal as the sight of a battle came before him, the Spirit Pack had taken the Orion wolves by surprise. His heart stopped for a moment as he thought about Sora where was she?

Part 7
‘Sora!’ Raiden yelled so loud he felt his throat starting to get sore as he ran over the grass. The sky had turned grey and thunder rumbled behind him as he ran trying to find her. Suddenly he saw her ahead and he ran up to her as fast as his legs could carry him.

Holding back any tears Raiden walked up beside Sora who opened her eyes and looked up at him with her golden brown eyes. Lying down beside her Raiden felt a huge lump in his throat and nothing seemed to come out. ‘Forgive me…please forgive me…’ Raiden managed to say his voice being so shaky he could barely understand himself.

‘Blue eyes you haven’t done anything…’ Sora sighed looking at Raiden as tears began to swell in her eyes.

‘Let me help you the elders they can…’ Raiden said quickly standing up but stopped when he noticed that Sora wasn’t getting up. ‘Please get up…’ Raiden pleaded as a few silver tears slid down his face.

‘I want to tell you something Raiden I should have told you last night…’ Sora sighed as Raiden laid back down beside her. ‘I have always loved you and no matter what anyone says you’re special to me Raiden and you always will be.’ Tears streamed down her face.

‘I love you to Sora…’ Raiden said looking at Sora whose eyes slowly began to close for a moment there was a silence.

‘Sora…Sora…?’ Raiden said tears streaming down his face as he moved closer beside her. Suddenly Raidens eyes opened glowing blue as he stood up the anger in side him swelling up so much it was consuming him. His sharp teeth glowed in the moonlight as he howled a mournful cry to the moon; the Spirit Pack would pay dearly for the death of the only wolf other then his sister who truly cared for him.

Raiden ran through the forest so fast that even though it was pouring rain he felt as though his pelt wasn’t even wet. He knew exactly where he was going and nothing would stop him. Suddenly appearing in a clearing he slowed down where all the elders and most of the Spirit pack had gathered; they all turned towards him. ‘Ah Raiden I was wondering when you would…’ Jahar began as he turned around and stopped noticing that Raidens eyes were glowing blue.

‘You killed her…’ Raiden snarled loudly as he walked forward as all the wolves began to panic.

‘Listen to me Raiden we couldn’t just let the Orion Pack take over our lands, we were scared you’d kill us…’ Jahar said panicking and stepping backward away from Raiden who kept walking forward.

‘Not good enough.’ Raiden said in a low voice as he reared forward towards Jahara and the other wolves.

Meanwhile Aniu and her father Jazer were sitting on a ledge over looking their land which was now a land of cautious and destruction. Aniu suddenly felt a cold shiver as she looked down in to her land as Jazer who was worried looked up at her.

‘Aniu are you alright?’ He asked as she quickly nodded.

‘Father will you go and check the elders for me, I’ll wait here just incase the Orion Alpha decided that he will indeed come talk to me…’ Nodding Jazer quickly ran to find the elders as Aniu looked over her land.

From the shadows Raiden suddenly appeared and Aniu instantly turned around to see her brother. ‘You’re a little late…’ Aniu said with a smile but suddenly stopped, ‘…Raiden are you alright?’ She quickly walked up to him just as the cloud cover revealed the moon which shone on to Raidens coat. ‘No Raiden what have you done!?’ Aniu said shocked as he looked at her brother whose eyes had returned to normal and he just stood there looking down at the ground.

‘They had killed Sora…’ Raiden sighed as Aniu looked confused. Looking up from the ground Raiden looked deep in to his sisters eyes ‘I killed them...I…I don’t know but I know I killed them I couldn’t stop myself.’ Sitting down on the ground Aniu looked at her brother so many emotions running through her that she didn’t even know what she was feeling.

‘Jahar and the spirit pack, they’re all…’

‘No not all, but most…’

‘Oh Raiden…’ Aniu said turning away from her brother tears swelling in her eyes as Raiden walked up beside her.

‘Forgive me Aniu I couldn’t control myself all the anger inside.’ Raiden turned away from her and looked up towards the moon. ‘Every since I was a pup my fate was predetermined, they killed our mother, put me in solitude I lived alone for so long, they plotted against my back, they tricked me, they hurt you, they hurt our father and they killed Sora the only wolf who had ever loved me…we were going to be mates…my life has just been one let down after another and I couldn’t control it.’ Looking down from the moon towards his pack land which was not the lush land he had known when he was a pup but rather a land full of painful memories. ‘Why have you forsaken me! You said you be there for me mother…’ Raiden yelled to the plains and he sat down and hung his head low.

Aniu watched her brother tears still falling down her face as she walked up and sat down beside him nuzzling him to show that she still cared. ‘Remember when we were pups how we used to play in the small river?’

‘Please not now Aniu…’ Raiden started.

‘Listen please…’ Aniu said looking up at Raiden. ‘How I was caught in the swell and I was about to drown and you saved me, if you hadn’t been there I would have died. How can you possibly be evil my brother?’ Standing up Raiden turned away from his sister.

‘The elders were right, I brought the destruction of the Spirit Pack, I’m a murderer, you cant change destiny.’ Slowly Raiden began to walk away before breaking into a run leaving Aniu as he ran. He wasn’t sure where he was running, where he was going or what he was going to do all he knew was that he couldn’t stay.

‘Alpha Aniu of the Spirit Pack.’ Came a voice as Aniu turned around and saw the Alpha Male of the Orion Pack and two of his body guards. Bowing slightly Aniu watched as he walked forwards and stood beside her. ‘Our quarrel has only brought death and destruction, many have been killed including my daughter Sora in our last battle at the border…I ask for a truce that both our packs may live in peace in the future, I do not want any more of my pack killed?’ Looking shocked Aniu quickly nodded.

‘Every since this war started I longed for it to end and I will do anything to bring peace to my pack.’ Aniu said looking after where her brother went.

Nodding the Alpha Male slowly began to turn around and walk away but before he was gone he stopped and turned to face her. ‘Please accept my forgiveness for what I have done and ask for you to promise me that no one will come on our land again….’

‘You have my word…’ Aniu said bowing slightly as the wolves disappeared in to the darkness. Suddenly from the trees a tiny little pup walked forward and ran up to Aniu and was whimpering. Smiling down at the small pup Aniu knew him from her pack and was glad to see he had survived. ‘Oh Nava, this is the dawning of a new future for the Spirit Pack.’ She looked out towards the distance tears sliding down her face as she wondered whether she would ever see her brother again, ‘but I fear for my brother. Life has been bad to him and I want to give him all he deserved but I fear that I am to late…’ Nava looked up at Aniu and looked out towards the distance.

Raiden laid down on a ledge and looked up to the moon, he was too sad to cry, to angry to do anything, it was as though everything he was, was being blown away. Slowly he closed his eyes and smiled as the memory of him and Aniu playing together under the watchful eye of his loving parents came back to him.

‘Mum, dad lets make sure we never become distance from each other...’ Puppy Raiden said smiling as his mother nuzzled him his tail wagging behind him.

‘Yes mum lets be a family forever nothing will ever make us separate.’ Aniu said walking and sitting down beside her father.

'As long as I'm here nothing will ever hurt either of you.' Raiden's mother said gently.

His mother and father smiled at each other as Raiden looked up at his parents and smiled and laughed he was happy truly happy…
