one day balto was on the sled going across the ice and they finlley got off the ice they got in the priaie grass and balto was scared. becase a group of dogs told him that there were hunters in the long grass looking for wolfs to kill. but then balto new if the musher saw the hunter he would get arested. so balto felt very safe. but he got lost in the long grass and he was worred again he was afaid that hed never get back to nome. later they got back to nome. balto saw a deer go in the long grass and he got hungry. but he did not want to go in the long grass.but balto was so hungry he had no choice he ran in to the long grass and saw the deer and he chaced it.he chaced it a long way!  very far away from nome.when he saw all the unfamiler stuff he got scared. but in his mind he kept saying i'll be fine over and over again. and he was afaid that he'd be gone so long that jenna would go in to the long grass out looking for him and get herself shot. thats when he started to get butterflys.he walked and walked and he saw that deer again and this time it was runing from something else. balto wonderd what it was runing from and than he heared a big load gun shoot...TO BE CONTINUED
