Oh Gah
It was winter and Lithium walked down the street on the way to meet his grandmother. He had decided to go down the alleyway, He did. He walked and say something lying on the floor, he then walked to it. He looks at it, and then pokes it. IT MOVED!! He pulled back but went to it again
“Hello
”Hello?” the voice said. Then he figured out it was a German Shepard female
“Oh! I’m so sorry!” Lithium exclaimed. The female looked at him.
“Oh! No. Its fine I enjoy company, since I don’t get it a lot” She smiled
“What do you mean by that? But anyhow I’m Lithium.” He proud fully introduced himself. She laughs
“I like that name. I’m Kiko.” She said happily, “Oh, and what I meant by that was….well…no one really talks to me so yea.” She looked away
“Why would they not? Your beautiful!” He gasped, as she looked at him and half gasped while she half giggled
“Oh God!! I’m so sorry!! Geez!” He said really embarrassed
“No don’t worry!” She smiled then frowns, ”the reason of that is cause they think I’m different.” She sighed
“Well do you know why?” He looks at her.
“I haven’t stopped to ask them” She laughed, he looked at her
“Oh well I’m sorry”
“I think you say that too much, besides I think you have better plans then hanging out with me” She sighed
Well I was gonna go to my grandmothers house but I can skip! He thought
“No I can stay” He smiled as she did too
“Well that’s very kind of you,” She said as she started to walk. He cocks his head.
“Were are you going?” He asked
“Just to walk. Do you like to walk?” She asked him turning her head
“Umm…yea I like to walk let’s walk! Where?” She laughed
“The out skirts k. because of the others.”
“Yea I understand.” He said, she smiled. They started to walk and didn’t talk for a long moment until…
“Well, well, well, what do we have here?” To there surprise it was Chief a mix of Siberian husky and German Shepard he also was the lead dog of the Atlanta k-nine police association.
“Babe what are you doing with him?” Chief snarled and glared at Lithium, as Lithium shot a confused look to Kiko, while Kiko tried to look at the both of them.
“Well…I just met him a couple minutes ago” She stared at Chief in a not very happy way
“Well why were you going to the outskirts?” He asked as he glared at Lithium
“Well, I was going to explore with him. That a problem?” She started to glare.
“Why with him? Babe you know I would die if anything happened to you and I would probually hurt the one who did it really badly” He nuzzled her as he glared at Lithium
“Yea I know that’s also what I’m afraid of too” she nuzzled back in a loving order and also a ‘just do it or else’ order. Lithium just stared.
“Hey! I think I know you! Yea! Your uhh…Kate’s kid right?” Lithium looked at Chief
“Yea how did you know that?” He asked
“WELL!! Lets see I’m Lead Police down here!! What do you expect!! Come on Kiko babe lets go!” He turned her around and started to walk
“Hold Up!!” She squealed, “I want to tell my new friend bye!!” She pulled away, and went to Lithium’s ear and whispered something
“Hey we’ll meet again here and talk bout this!” She walked away with Chief. He watched them and then he ran to his grandmother’s house.
4 hours later
Lithium ran to the place they were at and waited about ten minutes until she showed up.
“Hey!” She panted, “Sorry about today I wasn’t lying about the others thinking I was someone else it was just that I also wanted to get away from Chief too.” She looked at him
“I think I understand.” He said as he looked back at her, she smiled
“That’s good! So you want to do something?” Kiko asked
“Don’t know, but I do want to know how ya’ll got together?”
“Ok well he took me in and we got that close to be going out. I really love him!”
“Do you not love him any more?”
“I do just not as much.” She sighed, “He’s gotten meaner, and I think...I think.”
“You think what?”
“I might break up with him, and when I do he scares me cause you know what he said back there, if anything would happen to me he would…you know”
“Yea I know.” He looked at her, “Do you love anyone besides him?”
“Well, sort of maybe. Don’t you have a mate or something?” He laid down, as she did too
“Nope! Why do you ask?”
“Just wondering”
“Ok. Hey who would you want to go out with?” She looked at him shyly
“Well….I don’t know,” She said
“Oh come on you got to know!” Lithium said messing around with her, leaning against her making her go the opposite way
“Well, there’s not many to choose from” she said looking at him
“There’s me!” He said trying to play with her but also meant it a bit. She took it personally, cause she shot up
“Yea but you might have a girlfriend.”
“No. Hey I need to go ok, sorry” He nuzzled her and ran out the door, She had a shocked expression on her face but got up and also ran out the door
The next day
Lithium was walking with his mother a German Shepard to the bank.
“I’ll be only a sec ok?” She said as she nuzzled her son, he nuzzled back.
“Ok.” He hadn’t quite told his mom about what had happened the previous night, and didn’t want to tell her quite yet. She walked into the store for the daily visit to say hello
“Hey Kat how are you today?” Mel the Siberian husky asked walking to her greeting her
“Hey Mel! I’m fine you?” Kate asked also greeting him; he had also noticed her son sitting outside the door, knowing that it was his turn to talk.
“Oh fine. What’s your son doing here? He can come in.” He said she looked at him and answered
“Ok. That’s good” So she went to bring him in
“Hello son.” Mel said
“Oh hi Mel.” He said in a thing kind of way. Mel caught this and asked him what he was thinking about. Lithium looked at his mother then to Mel
“Well there was this female I met and I’ve never seen her before and she’s going out with Chief, her name is Kiko” Mel looked at Lithium
“Oh her? Well that’s someone you don’t want to mess with what Chief will do to you if he thinks anything, and also what he’s aloud to do is unbelievable.” He said knowingly
“Oh well me just met yesterday and I think we might have something together.” Mel gasped
“Son you do not want Chief to now about this.”
“Yea I know.”
Kiko
“Hey Kiko!” Kiko’s friend Bailey the Pomeranian squealed
“Oh hey Bailey!” Kiko said as Bailey followed up beside Kiko
“So how are you doing today?” Bailey asked puffing out her chest.
“Oh I’m fine and how about you?” She smiled
“Oh fine!” Though she sniffled
“What’s the matter?” Kiko asked confused
“Well….me and Xena broke up! Well, he kind of broke up with me!” She looked at Kiko, Kiko nuzzled her
“Thanks but it was for the best if you know what I mean. So how are you and Chief getting along?”
“Well.” Kiko started, ” I think I might break up with him.” Bailey gasped
“What! I can’t believe you I would do anything for him!”
“Well I would do anything for him if it was the old days when he was a nice guy but now he’s the police and he has gotten rough with others around him when he used to do the same bad things he did a long time ago, I just don’t know who he is anymore.”
“Oh! Have ya’ll thought about starting a family?”
“We’ve talked about it but no not really.”
“Would you want to start a family with him?”
“I don’t know.”
“Well, who do you like now?”
“Oh!” she laughed shyly, “Well I don’t know.” Bailey giggled
“You like someone and you know who!” She laughed and pawed Kiko
“No I don’t!” She giggled
“Come tell! I won’t!”
“Ok well I still love him.” Bailey looked at Kiko
“Kiko! I can tell when you lying!” she said trying to get her to tell the truth
“Ok? Well there’s this on German shepherd and he’s single, looking, and really cute! Then yesterday he kissed my cheek!” Bailey bounced up and down with glee!
“EW! Let me meet him! Unlike you I am single!” she said walking ahead with her chest puffed out for the boys to see. Kiko cleared her throat. She thought her friend was just playing with her
“Umm…excuse me, but I saw him first and I can break up with anyone in the speed of lightening!” She said a little angered at her friend
“Like I said unlike you I’m single and more beautiful!” Bailey barked at her friend. Kiko gasped
“Oh my god I can’t believe your doing this because you’ll know I’ll win!”
“Well you are different unlike me! I’d actually have a taste for Chief and that other hot guy! And could actually have someone love me!!” Kiko now knew her friend was not playing with her now and started getting hard core with her words, and growled to her friend.”
“Yea ok and when you say you CAN have someone like you or do you mean MAKE someone like you?!?! Oh and at least I have legs unlike you!”
“Well I’m happy my Legs don’t go all the way to the sky!” now there was a crowd of dogs around the two arguing girls, some being confused, some thinking about what would happen, and some saying FIGHT! Into there heads, even the police weren’t doing anything!
“They do not! No wonder you cut your legs off! It’s because you have paws the size of big boulders!” Kiko exclaimed. Bailey gasped and leaped on her, but Kiko dodged and bit her leg. Bailey screamed in pain. Chief ran out just as he did he saw Bailey catch Kiko for the thigh, one of the most softest spots of the dogs body Chief ran to Bailey and knocked her away, and went to Kiko’s side
“Are you ok?” Chief asked in his deep voice, checking her over nose to tail
“Yea I’m fine!” She growled
“Good! Were doing something special tonight!” He said turning to Bailey, “Why’d you do this?” He growled.
“She started it!” She said, “Talking about this guy she met yesterday and how she liked him!” Kiko gulped, as Chief’s head swiveled toward her
“What?! You like someone else?!” He roared
“No she’s lying!” Kiko squealed, “I said no such thing!” Kiko and Bailey both glared back and forth. Lithium walked forward, but not enough to have Chief see him.
Lithium!
she looked at him and smiles, but the looked away back at Chief
“Why would you do this to my love when you know I would hurt you but since you’re a girl I let you slide this one time!” He growled and turned to leave taking Kiko with him. Lithium sighed and walked away
“So!” Kiko said, “Were are we going?” She pranced around him
“You’ll see.” He said happily. It was noon when they left and dark by the time they had got there, and Kiko was a bit angered over the long journey that thought was for nothing.
“Here we are!” Chief exclaimed happily. In Kiko’s eyes she say an old, rundown, burned up house, but you could see that in Chief’s eyes he thought it was paradise. Chief was the first to walk in the ugly, torn place.
“Come on babe. I have a surprise for you!” He said Kiko sighed then followed.
“Tell me Chief what are we doing here? In this run down thing?” She asked as she followed him into a cobwebbed room. He didn’t answer until they were in front of a door that had spiders hanging on it
“Once I open this door you’ll see.” He pushed the door open; she walked inside with her jaw hanging at the beautiful display. She looked around with Chief in the room smiling at her. What she saw was the beautiful display of crescent red candles, no dust or cobwebs, a beautiful looking carpet and rug sitting beside a orange mixed red fire flaming in the fire place, two bowls one full of water and the other flowing over the top with the sent of sweet smelling pork chops in the bowl. She gasped and looked over at Chief who was looking at the beautiful display also but then looked over at his girlfriend and went over and nuzzled her, she nuzzled back of course, and felt bad about ever saying that she like Lithium she loved both.
“Chief did you do this?” she asked as he went to sit down on the rug beside the burning fire
“Yea.” He looked around then back at her, “yes, I found this place on a search and run, came back to check it out and this was the only nice room in the house doesn’t look like much on the outside but the inside, here, its beautiful!” he explained as she sat down with him and on him then sighed.
“What’s the matter you don’t like it?”
“No I love it, its pretty amazing!” she nuzzled as he did back
“I’ll be right back.” He said as walked away as she watched
“And here we go!” He had brought out a large pan of sauges, “Can’t find these every where you go huh?” She gasped
“No! Oh lord how’d you get all this stuff? And afford it?” He looked at her
“Well I am lead police!” He said happily, “I got friends!”
“True.” She laughed; she nuzzled him he nuzzled back.
“So what are we going to do tonight?” She smiled and laughed as he licked her forehead.
“I had some plans!” He said as he toppled over her. She laid on her back and giggled
Lithium
“Lithium!” Star called as she spotted him, she ran and tackled him
“OOFFF!” they both fell, “What are you doing?” He asked angrily
“Well gah! Just wanted to say hi!” She said a little disappointed.
“Jeez! Cousin Star.” Star nuzzles him, “Just cause you’re my cousin don’t mean you can nuzzle me!” He exclaimed angrily she shook her head
“Non-blood related cousins!” she corrected
“Yea. Your right. I shouldn’t have gotten mad at you like that and I’m sorry.” He nuzzled back
“So how are you and your boyfriend?” She looked at him confused
“What boyfriend?” she asked
“What do you mean? Saba told me you had a boyfriend.”
“Well I’ve hadn’t had a boyfriend since my mom died and your Aunt Kree took me in.” She said with a sad tone.
“Hey come with me. Would you like to stay over tonight?” He asked, and she nodded
“Come with me I want to show you something!” He said as he ran off, she chased after him
“Where are we going?” She asked panting. They were headed toward the Dr.’s office.
“The doctor’s?” Then she figured out that they weren’t going to the doctors office, they were going under the office to an underground den.
“What are we doing out here? In here?”
“Well star do you like anyone?”
“No. Why?”
“Well, were not blood related right?”
“No.” She said trying to figure out what he was doing or going to do.
“Do you like me? I’ve always been able to tell, the way you act around me the way you just run into me, and you nuzzle.” He smiled as she did to.
“Well, since you have figured me out. Yes!” She squealed. Lithium gasped and smiled
“Well then if you like me and I have feelings for you then will you be my girl?” He asked with pride.
“Yes!” But she sighed. “I heard you liked another girl.” She said a little disappointed
“I do.” He said, “But I don’t quite think she’s the one. I think you are.” He said
“Oh well, you really like me? Cause I’m your cousin!”
“I adore you!! And I think you adore me! So are you my girl?”
“Duh yes!” She nuzzled him like she had done a million times before and in a loving way.
“But what about your mom and dad, and mine mom?” She asked concerned
“Well don’t worry about them much ok.” He replied trying to think about what to do. “I’ll handle it.”
“How?”
“We won’t tell.” He said quickly
“Ok. Lets go to your house.”
“Ok” He said, as they walked off. When they got to his house, they walked in and laid down Star laid with him, curling up with him, as they both fell asleep.
Kiko
Kiko wakes up and looks at Chief. She smiles and stands up and stretches.
“Oh!” Chief woke up.
“Hey babe.” He said as he nuzzled her.
“Hey.” She said
“I need to get back into town.” She said as loving as possible, because the truth was that she wanted to go and see Lithium but she would soon find out that something happened that she wouldn’t of wanted.
“Ok. I need to get back into town too. Police stuff, I’m on a case.” He said proudly, she smiled at him.
“Ok come on, let’s go.” She said trying to get him to move out the door.
“Ok! Ok! What’s the hurry?” He asked looking at her.
“I had plans with my mom.” She lied.
“Ok let’s go then.” He said, running out the door Kiko trailing behind him.
Finally! She thought as they entered town.
“Hey I’ll talk to you later ok.” She nuzzled him
“Ok yea. Meet up with me at noon. Ok?” He said as he nuzzled back, pulled away and ran off. Kiko sighed with relief. She ran to find Lithium.
“Lithium!” She yelled. She looked behind her and…
“OOFFF!” They both fell to the ground, she looked up.
“Oh Lithium! I’m so sorry!” She said as she got up.
“Its fine Kiko. Were you looking for me?” he asked kind of concerned
“Ummm….yea. I was.” She said
“Well why?“
“You didn’t want to see me?”
“Well I do but…” Kiko widened her eyes
“But what?” He looked at her and sighed.
“Come with me ok?” He started to walk
“I thought you didn’t have a girlfriend. Do you?” He looked away
“Well, I didn’t until last night.” Kiko gasped
“Whom might I ask?” he cleared his throat
“Hey Hun!” Star came prancing to the two she nuzzled Lithium.
“Her?!” Star looked at Kiko
“OMG! You!” both Kiko and Star started to snarl
“Hold up! What is going on?” Lithium asked going in between the two.
“Well! May be if you kept you yap shut it wouldn’t have happened!” Kiko snarled
“Well if you weren’t so sour headed to meet up with that cop it would not have happened!! And I did you a favor!” Lithium’s head was going back and forth to Kiko then to Star.
“What are you talking about?!” Lithium finally yelled, they both froze and looked at Lithium
“Star speak.” He said looking at star
“Well, it happened about 3 years ago. Back then Kiko and me were good friends. But Kiko wanted to go to the outskirts and wanted me to go with her. So we went. And Kiko, say that cop down there and wanted to say hi. Well we both went down to meet him and he said something to Kiko about me, and I knew cause he was loud about it and it was bad sooo…I attacked him and he wanted to arrest me but my once friend said no!” She smiled at him but frowned at her.
“Yea. And then I really got mad at myself and the next day she said she didn’t want to be my friend no more so we haven’t really talked and then we got into a fight that night.” She looked at her and then Lithium, she sighed and nuzzled him and teared up
“I thought we were good friends.” She said
“We were.” Kiko agreed but fur still stood up a bit but she was happy with what she heard because it was true.
“She is right so I need say nothing. Are you two going out?” Lithium wanted to say no but Star said otherwise.
“Oh well.” She said a little shocked, she didn’t know that they were cousins but was still shocked she sighed.
“Ok well then. I think I’m gonna go.” She said as she turned to leave but Lithium stopped and made her stay to talk with Star.
“Come on ya’ll haven’t talked in a while don’t you think?” he said facing the both of them and surprisingly kissed Kiko, instead of Star they all gasped and Lithium quickly kissed Star to make it look like it was a friendly kiss.
“I’ve known you for quite a while cause you’re my…” she paused, “ummm….are you trying to get us to talk?” The girls both looked at him and he looked at the girls and paused
“Well. Hehe I’ll be right back my moms calling me!” He said as he rounded the corner and really ran into his mom!
“Oh hey mom!” He said as he backed up. She nuzzled him.
“Hey! What were you running from?” she asked as she rounded the corner but Lithium stopped her.
“Nothing.” He said as innocently as possible
“Yea ok.” She said and rounded the corner, “Oh hey Hun!” She said as she went to nuzzle Star.
“Oh!” she said as she turned from talking to Kiko, “Auntie Kate.” She said as she nuzzled her aunt
Oh god!! Star and Lithium thought
“Ok mom we got to go Kiko me and Star!” He said as he got all of them to start to walk.
“Yea we do we need to talk.” Kiko said a little angered and confused.
“Aunt? What do you mean Aunt I thought that was Lithium’s mom? You’re related?” She asked all at once.
“Yes and no.” Lithium answered shaking
“What do you mean yes and no?” she asked looking at the shaking pair.
“Yes we are related, no we are not blood related.” He said looking at her with his blue eyes.
“Well why are you still going out that’s like inbred breeding.” She said wide-eyed.
“No, because were not related.” Star said looking at her, Kiko looked back with odd and sickening eyes.
“Well, what can we say were a perfect match!” Lithium said, “I think.” She looked at him. She felt like running away, she did have a little feelings for him, not involving friendship.
“Ok.” Kiko said as she turned to leave having no one tell her not to
“Wait! Kiko!” Lithium ran to her leaving Star back in the dust, well not really the dust, but with a confused look on her face.
“I think that I know what is going on.” He said looking into her eyes. He really did like her, but he didn’t know who he liked more Kiko or Star.
“You like me too. Well I like you.” As he said this she gasped.
“Really!” they rounded a corner and she tripped, “OOFFF!” she fell almost on him kissing him.
“Mhh-hhmmm!” they both said as this happened. Star sort a heard the commotion and looked to see what was going on.
“OOHHHH! Crap!!” She squealed as she saw the sight, Lithium pulled back and gasped.
“Star! It was an accident! I swear! You can ask her!” He screamed.
“Yea sure!” she said as she started to march off
“No!” Kiko screamed, “He really is telling the truth!” Kiko said as she ran in front of Star, “I tripped and fell!” she said in her face, sort a, kind of.
“Ok! Your in my face!” she yelled.
“Ok!” she said, “Can we be friends? Stupid question.” She said as she looked at the ground.
“May be.” Star knew she wanted to be friends with Kiko and knew it was not a stupid question she had asked.
“So… I really don’t know what to say.” Lithium laughed of his stupid ness
“Me neither.” Star said, glaring at Kiko, Kiko just stared back, not glaring.
“How about we walk?” Kiko asked trying to be nice to the weird pair, or that was her opinion.
“Yea sure.” Star said in a not very happy tone.
“I think it’s a great idea.” Lithium said as he started to walk, the girls followed one on one side, the other on the other side.
“So um what would you like to do?” Asked Lithium as he walked toward the outskirts.
“Well I don’t know.” Said Kiko with aggravated looking at Star, eyes some what glared at her.
“Well.” Star said looking at Lithium with sweet eyes, “May be you could possibly go home and we can talk.” She paused, and Lithium looked at her. “Not that I want you to go… it’s just me and Lithium have a lot to catch up on.” She said as she brushed her tail against his chin.
“Well, I guess that was a stupid question to ask!” Kiko squealed as she “Brushed her tail up against his chin”.
“What“
“If you wanted still to be my friend.” She replied
“I do but I love Lithium and I want to spend time with him. I would love to be friends with you again.” She screeched
“Well don’t you two see each other enough? Your family members!” She said back.
“Well we don’t get to really see each other alone, because family gatherings!” she said back once more.
“Girls!” Lithium yelled, “Stop! Stop yelling at each other. Kiko can come ton wherever were going.” Lithium said as Star gasped in anger, and ran in front of Lithium.
“What do you mean she can go wherever were going?” She yelled in his face unsatisfied.
“Listen Star, sweet hunny tomorrow night will be all ours! Kiko can come with us tonight.” He said as he smiled at Kiko then Star who was glaring and Kiko who had a distraught, and somewhat shocked face.
“What?” Lithium asked moving from one girl to another.
“You would really want me to go?” Kiko asked moving up to Lithium, Star closely at her watching her to see what she was about to do.
“Of course I would.“ he said watching her move to him. She moved and clearly wasn’t thinking because she nuzzled him!
“Excuse me! I thought you and me just cleared that he is my boyfriend!” Star squealed Taking her by the scruff and slinging her into a wall, almost knocking her out!
“Star!! Stop!” Lithium grabbed Star by the scruff and dragged her away from Kiko.
“Get off of me!!” Star squealed. Lithium let go but watched her.
“Leave Kiko alone!” Lithium yelled as Star started her way.
“Why she crossed the line!”
“Hey!! We have the whole night together! Cut Kiko some and a lot of slack!” He said as he went to help Kiko up, while Star just stood there watching him in an angry glare.
“Well I suppose your right about you and me being together tonight.” She smiled as she tried to pull Lithium away from Kiko, but Lithium hardly budged and when he did he pulled away from Star back to Kiko. Star nuzzled under his chin.
“Come on leave her there. We have stuff to do.” She said as she once more tried to pull him away.
“Ok. I’ll be there Ok? Just go to were you want us to go and I’ll walk her home.” You could tell that Star didn’t think that it was a very good idea.
“But!” Star tried to start and Lithium wouldn’t let her.
“Don’t worry I won’t let her kiss me, nether will I kiss her.” He smirked as he turned to leave.
“Ok. Babe I will.” Star turned to leave and she really trusted him. Lithium and Kiko walked until they got to Kiko’s house.
“Well Kiko I guess were there.” He said turning to her, “Hey, our little secret ok?” Kiko cocked her head and with a confused look, she was kissed! Guess by whom? Yep your right if you guessed Lithium. She pulled back as fast as possible and looked around quickly.
“So. That was the secret?” she asked a little shocked
“Yep!” Lithium said as he looked away blushing, which also left Kiko blushing as well.
“Well I guess I will see you later.” She smiled as she walked into the house. Lithium smiled back and ran off to find Star, Kiko watched him go away. She turned around hearing the creaking of the floor knowing that it was nothing, and continued to turn around.
“Oof!” Kiko had just run into Chief. “Oh babe!” she starts to nuzzle him as he nuzzles back, but as he takes a deep breathe her smells something on her, and rushed back.
“Were have you been?” he said as he sniffed and looked her over. “Well are you alright? I smell you’ve been thrown against a wall.” He exclaimed as he nuzzled her back, and looked over her to see her face, she looked back.
“Yes?” She asked looking back at him, “Nothing has happened.” She said with a worried look on her face. Chief caught this and looked at her.
“Kiko were have you been? I’m worried now.” He said with his deep voice growing over her.
“I’ve been with Star.” She said pulling forward and looking away from him to where he couldn’t touch her and so she would look at his face, which was looking at hers.
“What did you just say?” He asked with a shocked expression. “You were with Star? Did she hurt your back?” He asked, not knowing what to do.
“No she didn’t do this to my back I did it when we were running I tripped fell and ran into the building.” She said as she lay down.
“Oh?” He said. She hadn’t told him about Lithium and Star being together, because he knew that they were cousins, and also didn’t tell him about seeing Lithium and the kiss.
“Yes my love.” She said as she then got up and went to nuzzle him, he nuzzled back.
“Ok. Anything you want to do? Go visit someone?” he asked as he walked up behind her, she turned her head and looked at him.
“I don’t know. No one that I know of.” She kept looking at him smiling this time.
“Well then in that case.“ Chief sat down behind Kiko and looked up in the front of her, she looked back in a “What are you doing?” look. Chief looked at her
“Don’t worry I won’t hurt you.” He laid down behind her; Kiko raised a brow and turned around, and looked at him.
“Chief what are you doing?” she asked again looking at him. He didn’t answer but just looked up at her and smiled. She laid down in front of him touching his nose.
“I don’t know, I think I’m bored.” He said as he lifted up his head in a very odd and slow way, she looked up at him and cocked her head.
“What?” he asked when he noticed she was looking at him but didn’t bother to move his head toward her.
“I don’t know.” She said looking at his chest. “What do you think I’m thinking?” she smiled as she started to crawled under him.
“I have No idea!” he said as he looked under him to look at her; she has crawled up under him lying down, smiling at him. Chief cocked a brow.
“Huh? Well?” he asked as he lowered himself on top of her going and trying to make her answer him.
“Whoa!” She said as he lowered himself to where she figured out what he was trying to do. “Well I don’t really know but I’m sort of bored too.” She finally said. He stopped and looked at her smiling, she smiled back and Giggled as she rested her head on the floor still under him. He looked at her again and walked forward, turned around and laid down facing her, nose to nose, smiling at each other.
“So what would you want to do?” Kiko asked as she looked at the door then back at him. He caught that and got up and walked to the door, then cocked his head toward the door, she nodded as she got up and walked out the doggy door.
“You coming?” she smiled as she poked her head back through the door. He looked at her and followed her out the door.
“Yes, always.” He said as she smiled at her.
“Really?” she lay on her back, and pawed at him, he smiled and walked down the steps to get the ground. He looked back.
“You coming?” he smiled as she turned around and got up, and ran to him, and nuzzled his cheek happily.
“Yes! Any where with you.” She smiled as he nuzzled back. She ran in front of him, she was headed toward her mom’s house, and then she stopped and ran toward Chief to tell him to hurry.
“Your hyper today!” he smiled and ran with her to her mom’s house.
“I won!” Kiko Squealed as she almost ran into her mother’s house. She looked back at Chief and walked in to her mother’s house, Chief following her.
“Mom? Mom its’ Kiko!” Kiko called.
“Kiko?” Her mom asked, she went up and nuzzled her daughter.
“How are you?” her mom asked as she went and sat down by the couch, Kiko and Chief both went and laid down too.
“Where doing good mom.” She smiled as she looked at Chief, “Real good.”
“How is the dating going? Or whatever you guys call it now.” Kiko smiled at both her mother and Chief, then they smiled back.
“Good!” Chief answered for her, and smiled, Kiko’s mother Angel looked at him and half snorted, she wanted her daughter to answer her not her boyfriend!
“Mom!” Kiko said sharply, glaring at her mother with deep eyes. “It’s good.”
Kiko looked over at Chief and nuzzled then whispered at him how sorry she was of her mother acting the way she did. He nodded, he knew that her mom was strict like that and was very old.
“So how have u been?” Chief asked trying to get back on her good side.
“Fine.” She said plainly having him back on her good side. Kiko smiled and spoke heavily, trying to change the subject.
“So mom how is dad?” she looked around for him. “Speaking if dad where is he?” she asked.
“Well he is in the back room sleeping.” She replied smiling at the fact that her daughter loved her father. Kiko smiled and got up to see him, she walked in the back room Chief and Angel following. Kiko nudged her father. But got no response, so she nudged him again, no response once more. Kiko looked at her mother and shaked her head, her mother shrugged and proceeded to walk up to her mate and wake him, but kiko tried once more and….
“What do ya’ll want?” he asked in a tired and grumpy voice. “Who is it?” he also asked.
“Dad.” Kiko said in a temperate voice. “Its me. Kiko?” Kiko looked at her father as he did her finally realizing who it was and smiled and nuzzled his daughter in a “please forgive me” kind of nuzzle. Kiko smiled as she nuzzled back, she hadn’t felt her fathers nuzzle the one she always missed when she wasn’t around, she then stepped back as Chief nuzzled her smiling. Her dad then got up and nuzzled Angel his mate, she nuzzled back smiling as well.
“So. Anyone want to go for a walk?” Kiko asked looking at the others. Kyle Kiko’s dad smiled and nodded as if he thought that they should go.
“Lets go.” He said plainly as he walked toward the door, the others following him contently.
“Ok.” Kiko said smiling walking out beside Chief. Chief smiled at Kiko and nuzzled her before walking out of the doggie door.
“I love you...” she smiled as she walked out happily, prancing, and waiting for him to walk out to greet her. He did so with a lick on the muzzle, she replied with a lick on the nose. She really did love him but she didn’t know whom to choose and with the fight she had with her friend before she couldn’t really go and talk to her about it, and all her other friends she really couldn’t go to them for answers because the next day they would have had it spread!
Gossipers! Kiko thought thinking about the idea. Lithium was the only one she could really talk to about it. But she couldn’t because hello, she liked him!
And besides he wouldn’t understand! Kiko continued to think. Kiko growled at herself deep in her throat though trying hard not to have anyone realize what she was doing, but uh-oh Chief found out and asked her about it.
“Chief don’t worry just thinking to myself baby.” She replied telling the truth in an ok way. Chief frowned and looked at her, he asked
“Was it about us? Something bad? Do you really love me?” he piled her up with questions. But she managed to answer them all in the manner he had wanted to hear.
“Yes. No. Yes I really love you, or I wouldn’t have brought you here to my moms house!” she answered nuzzling and licking his muzzle trying to get him to believe her. He sighed as he nuzzled back though in a relived sigh. She smiled and pulled away, finding to see that her mom and dad
was looking at them with curious eyes, she smiled at them and walked toward her mom and dad.
“What was that about? Are you and Chief broke up or something? I heard…” Her father was interrupted by Kiko’s words.
“No father were not broke up.” She said plainly. “It was just a misunderstanding.” She replied looking ahead of her, Chief walked up and nuzzled her again.
“No sir. Nothing happened.” He said as he started to walk, as he broke away from the touch of her beautiful looking, soft bristled fur. She started to walk with him, and then her mom and dad followed starting in a conversation. They started with the latest animal gossip in town. Which the first to come up was the mounted police, or the horse patrols. There equine friend Jake informed them about the deal on horse slaughter in town and how the mounted patrol horses, are for one just being literally taken off the street and in to the slaughter houses, and second how they don’t stay still when they are down there, meaning that they are jumpy, because they do know what is going on. They’re not stupid. And they just jumped around like they were in some kind of horse show.
“But yeah that’s what Jake said and informed us about. Gah! I almost just want to go over there myself and beat those guys up. Them guys who help with the horse slaughter.” Kiko’s dad said as he growled aloud.
“Yeah dad I know what you mean.” Kiko said. “Really I need to go over and see him. It’s been a long time.” She sighed as she started to take lead. Chief smiled and joined into they’re conversation.
“Yeah I think I know Jake he’s one of my good friends.” He said. “I didn’t know that you knew Jake.” Chief said. “I also didn’t know you knew anything about the police’s force.” He looked at her father, Kaleb.
“Well there are a few things you don’t know about me and the reason I know so much about the police forces is because I used to be the K-9 police. Actually the chief, like you.” Kaleb smiled as a look of questioning crossed his face.
“How did you know that?” He asked looking at Kaleb, her father.
“Well I do know the gossip!” He said smiling proudly at himself, Chief laughed at himself and looked away.
“Right.” He replied. He looked at Kiko and smiled she laughed at him and smiled back happily.
“I knew that.” He smiled trying only a little to impress his girl. She smiled knowing what he was trying to do, hey what could she say! She got it from her dad!
“Yeah I know what your trying to do!” she smiled and licked his muzzle, he smiled at her smooth touch, she smiled back.
“Love birds.” Said an unfamiliar voice. “Though She would have been mine.” He smirked as he came out of the darkness. Beetle, a jet-black rotweiler who did but though always had a crush on the hottest girls in town, Kiko. He smiled at the bunch, or more like a toothy smirk grin that could scare his own bad children. Kiko growled
“What are you doing here?” Kiko growled. He looked at her beautiful black and red face.
“Well just in the neighborhood. Since I was in a ‘Special Place’.” He glared at Chief, while Chief glared back at the thief.
“So. I guess that they let you out?” Chief asked as his fur bristled. Beetle smirked and bristled his own fur.
“Yep they did!” He said then as he straightened himself as Kiko sat down. He looked at her and smiled smirking as he walked toward her, she watched him a glare upon her face. He smirked some more, as if it was his duty or something. Though as his soft fur brushed up against her she jumped at the soft touch, as though it tickled. She smiled a bit as he moved his muzzle up toward her ear she smiled at the soft touch. He knew how to get a female unspayed on his side.
“Hey.” Beetle said with an ‘I know I can do it’ look “Why don’t you come and see me tonight.” He said brushing his fur with hers making her happy and excited. They all then picked their heads up and watched until…
“Hey! Beetle! Get away from her!” Kaleb cut into his sole called “glory”. Beetle looked at Kaleb and growled deep in his throat.
“How dare you!” He said angered, though Kaleb brought it back to him.
“Thats my Daughter your messing with! She doesn’t like you! She likes Chief!” Right then and there, there was dead silence. Right then and there a big, huge pinch of guilt attacked her heart. She gulped and everyone looked at her concerned. She looked at them.
“What?” Chief looked at her.
“You gulped. What was that for?” he asked all looking at her, them all looking at her.
“Well, I can tell you why she gulped..She doesn’t really love Chief. She loves me!” Beetle said nuzzling his love. She was yanked away and the growling had started. She looked at her father and frowned. She jumped in and growled. She had, had enough!
“Quit! Just quit! I don’t need this!” Kiko said annoyed and screaming at them.
“Kiko! What’s going on? What’s the matter?” Chief asked walking toward her, he nuzzled her. She looked at him and backed away slowly. She turned around and sighed as she looked at the ground.
“Kiko, I’m sorry.” Chief said in a sad tone, as he walked toward her. She caught this and backed away.
“No..don’t come towards me..” Kiko said as she stepped back a little. Chief looked at her and sighed stopping himself from going toward her not wanting to make her run off.
“Kiko hon..don’t go.” Chief said..Kiko just looked aver at him and started to run..she didn’t know where but hoped to find Lithium. She sighed as she turned her gait to a walk and walked looking for any sign of her new friend.
“Lithium! Where are you?” Kiko squealed as she walked. She sighed when she heard footsteps behind her. She didn’t care whom it was though turned around and looked. Lithium!
“Hey Kiko. Whats the matter?” Lithium asked as he looked at her with a worried expression.
“Well, Uh..My mat-friend!” She said as she looked and nuzzled him. Lithium smiled and nuzzled back.
“Well, what’s’ up?” Lithium asked as he pulled away and looked at her.
“Well just stuff. Nothing important” Kiko said and smiled at him. “Just really wanted to talk to you that’s all.” Lithium smiled and looked at her. He smiled and looked around wanting something to do. Kiko smiled and pulled on his scruff. Lithium smiled and looked at her nipping her muzzle lightly.
“Hey! Follow me!” Lithium said as he started to run toward the boiler room. Kiko only giggled and followed after her. The got there and he paused and looked at her turning around to face her.
“Ladies first.” Lithium said as he held out a paw. Kiko smiled and looked at him. She didn’t think he knew she had a boyfriend. But oh well. Kiko looked at the floor and walked in slowly easing her way through. Lithium smiled and watched as she slowly made her way in. Kiko finally got in and stopped sitting down and waiting for farther instructions. After Lithium walked in he smiled and nodded his muzzle to an opening in the wall, she looked toward were he was pointing and got up walking toward the wall. Lithium looked at her and walked to the wall him self, he sighed and looked in wondering if it was still there. He sighed and walked into the dark tunnel, Kiko following real close behind.
“Aw! Here we are!” He said.
“Lithium what were you wanting to show me cause all these are only broken bottles.” Kiko said. Lithium only seemed to ignore and mumbled to himself.
“Okay. And all we have to do is move these bottles to the north as if the northern ice caps.” Lithium mumbled. Then as he moved the bottles to were he wanted them to be a huge shine of light hit the darkness and Kiko’s head zoomed around. She gasped as she watched.
“Oh! What beautiful lights. The northern lights.” Kiko’s eyes seemed to be trapped on the sight, while Lithium’s seemed to be trapped on her.
“Yeah. Beautiful, like you.” Lithium said. Kiko then flickered her ear and turned in his direction. They both smiled at each other and moved closer, then closer, then closer, a kiss. Kiko pulled back alarmed and gasped, though she loved it she knew it was wrong to have done such a thing to her boyfriend.
