Gwen couldn't believe what she saw. She stared at Carmen.

"Well look what have here. The traitor is back!" said Carmen. Gwen started to walk backwards. It wasn't what Carmen said. It was a whole lot more. 

Kuro step between them.  "Gwen Wait Don't leave! let me explain-" Carmen spoke. "Explain what Kuro?! Gwen knew if she left she'll be cast out!" Carmen said with a smile.

"Well I hope you two will be happy together. Goodbye Kuro!" said Gwen as she ran from their sight "Gwen wait!!" shouted Kuro but she was gone.

She ran as far as she could. When she stopped she noticed the sun coming up. She started to cry after she rememmber the time she was in his arms and she felt so warm...safe.

"Why? After everything I've done.." she couldn't even finish because she was still feeling all the hard work and pain she endured not only for him but to prove to the clan she was innocent.  

"Gwen?" a calm voice spoke from behind. "GO AWAY KURO!" she shouted. "I guess you found out, huh sis." It was Duncan! "Duncan!!" she hugged him. " why didn't he wait why!?" she cried.

"We all thought you were dead! I always prayed that you would come back even when the other said otherwise." he said to her. Carmen didn't tell anyone she was alive! Typical....

Her head went down. "Don't blame Kuro.He was the leader and they already made Carmen his mate.The elders said that his and her pups would be strong and healthy if they mate. He had to move on for the clan. I'm not sure that you can look in your heart to forgive us."

As soon as she heard that her ears perked up! "You mean...?" she asked. "Yeah! The big guy told us what happened,and they're going to charge Carmen with treason but.." He trailed off.

"But what?" she asked."Since Carmen is pregent with Kuro's pups it going to be hard!" he said. "I don't care!!! She ruined my life!" she shouted. "But you proved that your reputation doesn't make you! Only you can!"Duncan said.

The morning was here! "Oh boy! I better go to Aurora before she snaps!"He said. "Aurora? you mean the shy one that had a crush on you?" she asked. "The very same! In fact she asked me to be her mate. I didn't notice how she was utill I got older. Now I have a boy and a girl!" he said.

    "I Saw Angel but who's the other?" she asked. "Blade he's a wild little pup!" he said. Gwen yawned for a long time. "You must of been through alot! Why not come and live in our den for a while? At least untill you get back on your feet!" he suggested.

She was about to refuse but she relized that she had no place to go."Alright but only for a little while!" she responded. "Nonsense! You stay as long as you need to!" he said as they both walked back to the clan. 

That night Kumo explained what happened to Gwen but like Duncan said they have to make a hard choice since she's Pregnant.

It was a full month after that day and for Gwen it wasn't getting eaiser. Despite the fact that she stop a full scale war she lost the trust of her clan. She would help the hunt but only got a small portion. She would babysit mostly for Duncan when he or Aurora went to hunt or scout. She would take walks to calm herself but avoids Kuro whenever he comes by.

One night she was walking to the den untill Kuro caught the sight of her! "Gwen!" he shouted but she kept walking. He was about to call her again but found that it was usesless. He stepped in front of her.

"We need to talk!" he said mad. "About what? your mate?!" she said in spite. "Just listin to me I had no choice!" he shouted at her. "There's always a choice Kuro!" she said as she walk away from him but he wasn't finished yet.

He walked to him and kissed her long and hard. Gwen wanted to smack him but she couldn't. She wished for too long to be with him again and she knew he felt the same.

The kiss was so tender and so warm. He pulled her closer and started kissing her cheek then her neck. Gwen moaned as she felt his warm soft lips on her fur and lips.

Kuro never felt so at ease and happy. The kisses Carmen would have felt empty and forced. He would feel nothing.

With Gwen he inhaled her sweet scent once more to keep telling himself this was real. The taste of her was making him lose mind. He berried his head into her chest then sighed.

Gwen grew nervous as she felt his warm breath on her fur. She kissed his forehead which made him moan. Her breath quickened as he returned to kissing her neck. 

"No. Kuro we can't do this."she said in a soft tone. She could bearly gasp for air let alone speak! Despite what she said Kuro continued kissing her.

"No! No more!" Gwen said as she backed away from him which killed her to get away. "You have a mate by the law of the clan! If they catch us you will be cast out!" said Gwen as she tried to catch her breath. 

"Gwen! You are the mate I want! I love you!" he said desperatly. "I know Kuro! I love you too but we can't be together! You're the alpha!" she said sadly."I'll quit! We can runaway together and make our own clan!" he shouted.

There was silence. Despite the fact that he loved Gwen, he knew that wasn't a choice of the matter. She knew that too. She walked up to him and kissed him."Goodnight and goodbye Kuro! Know that I will always love you." she looked away before she walked home crying.

"Gwen!"He shouted. She turned with tears in her eyes."Know that I've never stopped loving you." She now ran to the den Crying harder than before. Kuro scratched a tree in anger and cried in agony of losing Gwen again."AAGGGH!!" he holwed to the full moon over him. 

Carmen was out that same night Kuro was out. She snuck into a willow tree where a another male was waiting for her. She kiissed the brown wolf. "Where have been? I've been waiting for an hour!" the wolf shouted."SSSHHH! I had to wait to make sure no one saw me!" she said to him "So when will my children be born?"he asked. "In one month." she anwsered."Perfect!"he said.

"Does the leader know of this?" he asked. "No! No one knows of our plan!" she said "Make sure it stays that way!" he said before they left each other. But they both don't know a little tan pup was watching!
