A week passed after the party. Tyler never came back to town since that day. Emerald was starting

to worry. Rudy ,on the other hand, was filled with joy after Tyler left.

Maxwell had taken a job to the store next to his so he could get extra cash. Now most of the time

the house was empty so Emerald and Ruby would just stay and sleep or go out to see their friends.

Ruby said to her that she

will feel better with her REAL friends. One day While the two sisters went to see their friends

something caught Emerald's eye. It was Rex ,an friend of Tyler before Rex became a sled dog. He

was a strong husky like Mac but much bigger with brownish gray fur.

Emerald ran to Rex as fast as she could. Ruby just walked to the werehouse were all the dogs

hang out now. Rex was walking toward his team untill he saw Emerald and saw distress in her

eyes. "..Rex.." she said out of air. Rex's ears pointed down. "What's wrong?" Rex said in a concered

voice. "Tyler's gone. I haven't seen him in a week! Do you know were he is?! She said in a scared

frantic voice."No. I' m sorry but I don't know were he is."

Emerald was about to cry. "Where is he? What have I done?"she thought. Her eyes started to get

glossy. "DDon't worry he'll be fine. he is a wolf. its his nature to survive". Rex reassured her. She

smiled but she couldn't help it.

In his den Tyler was depress for his humiliation. "I was soo close to kissing her. Stupid! Stupid!

Stupid!!!"He said with a sigh. "She thinks I'm weird now. I just wanted to show how much I cared

more than a friend. I LOVE her!!

"That is ssoo sweet." said a dark voice outside. Tyler's ears perked up. " Who's there?! A female

dog came out of the trees."Ruby!!" Tyler shouted. She was the last dog he expect or wanted to see.

"What do you want ?" he said angerliy. "I wanted to make sure your visits were gone permanetly."

she said with a smile. "What about Emerald. Is she-""She's already moved on. With Jack."

"WHAT?!!?!!" Tyler screamed. "Yes. They are the cutest couple in Nome."

"You're lying. I know you are!!! She hates Jack she told me!!!!" said Tyler. "Come and see for your

self if you dare."Ruby said with a wicked smile and vanished to the bushes.

The next two weeks Emerald was more worried than ever. Now everytime maxwell leaves the

house, she goes out and looks for Tyler.Ruby couldn't care less for Tyler. All day and night she

looked for him. Sometimes Maxwell had to go looking for her when she took too long searching.

One day while she was searching near the forest , Jack appeared. He walked by her and said, " Hi

Emerald!". "oh hi" she said and continued searching. "I know it was a shocking thing when I asked

you out before so I forgive you for rejecting me." She didn't even look up. "Hey I'm talking to you!!"

He said in a anger tone. She still didn't look up.

"Still looking for that wid animal, huh?"he said "He is NOT an ANIMAL !!!" shouted Emerald. "Why

bother looking for him? he's no good for you or anyone." "Because I lo- she paused "he's my

friend." Jack looked at her and frowned." You love him don't you?!"he shouted. She looked down. "I

guess We're going to have to fix that." " What do you-He went up and kissed her on the lips.

Tyler an as fast as he could towards Nome." It can't be true." "she wouldn't" he thought . He ran to

through bushes to a horrify sight . Emerald kissing JACK. "NO!" he thought. "Its true". Emerald

backed away from Jack when she saw Tyler. " Tyler!!! This isn't what it looks li- but Tyler turned

around and ran.

"Oh no you don't. Not again!" she said And ran after him leaving Jack all alone and rejected again.

Tyler felt anger but mostly betrayed. He was fast but Emerald was right behind him "Tyler stop!!"she

said but he ran faster. She started to go faster but her paw bumped to a rock. she fell and bumped

her head on a tree trunk.

Tyler heard a yelp behind him. "Emerald!" he shouted. Her paw was twisted and blood dripping

from her head. He stopped and ran back to her. "I can't go back to town now". He said whlie he

picked her up and put her on his back. "I'll go in the morning." he said. He went to his den, put

Emerald down and started licking her wounds.

It was dark outside but he went and caught a bunny for her to eat. He saw her chest rose and fell

as she slept.hecurldhis body around her so she wouldn' t get cold.The he started to lick her wounds

again then slowly he went slowly to her neck. Emerald moaned a bit and Tyler realized what he was

doing and shook his head. he laid beside her."Even though we're not together I still have to protect

her" He said as he closed his eyes.

In the morning Tyler rosed up early to get Emerald back to Nome. He grab her by the mouth and

slowly put her on his back. He strated to pace himself then ran. He was slow enough for Emerald to

stay on and fast to get to town.

He finally reach Nome it was still early so no humans were up. As he walked toward the vet , Jack

with a huge group of dogs came out of nowhere and surrounded him. "I told you. He doggnapped

her and now he injured her!" said Jack. "WHAT?!?!!" shouted Tyler. The dogs started to growl."

Since you injured someone you are banished from Nome!" said Cod.

Three weeks later and Tyler was depressed. Not only from his banishment but what he heard from

Rex that Emerald has lost her memory! Rex said it was temperary but Tyler was still worried. "If I

had only listen to her she wouldn't be in this mess" he said with a sigh.

Since he was banished he had to live farther away from Nome. He lived in a abandoned cave

farther out of town. He was lonely but every now and then Rex comes by to update him of what's

going on in Nome.

Emerald was out of the Vet. Rudy guides her as she tries to regain her memory. As most of her

memory was regained Rudy tries to remake new ones. Now Ruby tells her that she is Jack's

girlfriend. Even though she doesn't like it but she wanted to make sure Tyler was out of the picture.

Ruby and Jack's plan to get rid of Tyler was perfect. Now Jack was finally about to make a move on

Emerald. Emerald and Ruby were sitting on theeir porch untill Jack showed up. "who is he?''asked

Emerald. "He's your boyfriend remember?" said Ruby. "I'll leave you two alone." She said as she

walked with Casey to flirt with the popular males.

Jack had a evil smerk on his face. "Hi sweetheart. I missed you". he said as wrapped his tail around

her and licked her licked her cheek. She jerked away. "What' s wrong honey?" "If your my boyfriend

why don't I remember you"? she asked." you bumped your head pretty hard."He respond "no. I

remember something about you. Something bad."she said

Jack started to get angry. "You are my-"." Emerald!! Are you okay? I haven't seen you in a while".

said Rex as he walked by the house." I remember you Rex right ?"she said. Rex smiled and said "

that's right! Want to take a walk?" Jack looked at him and shouted "Back off Re- " I loved to!" said

Emerald. She ran to Rex and they left Jack a little angry.

"That was close" Rex thought. Emerald said "Is he really my boyfriend"? She asked Rex.

"Boyfriend!?! who told you that?'' "Ruby." she respond. "oh boy". he thought. "No. He isn't but he

would like you to think that."he said. Emerald said "since your my real friend tell me who I was." "

you were a smart, kind husky who everybody loved including..." he paused.

"Including Jack? " she asked." No." then who?" "Tyler." Tyler I think I know him he's a wolf ." You

do. he was your best friend." said Rex." Then why didn't Ruby mention him before ?" Because she

didn'want you remember his love for you."said Rex. "Love?" Yes. you didn't know but he fallen in

love with you."

"Rex, Rex, Rex. You shouldn't stick your nose in other people's business you Know." A voice in the

alley shadows spoke. The two spun around "Who's there?!?!" shouted Rex. Ruby and Jack came

from under the shadows." Ruby!! why didn't you tell me about Tyler?? "Because he was a wild

animal he was never needed in this world. He was banished as plained." The dark duo started to get

closer Emerald. Rex grabbed Emerald's bandana with his teeth and both ran out the alley.

It was sunset Tyler was hunting then he had a bad feeling in gut. "I can't take it Even if I die I have

to see if she's okay".then he ran to Nome like lighting. It was already night time when got there.

"Huh. Here we go again.'' he said as he went to her house but no one was there."Emerald!"he

shouted bbut there was no response. He walked around to look for herthen he saw Rex runing

towards him.

Rex said "Tyler you shou-" "I know someone could kill me but I have to see if she's all right. You

know I'm not guilty." Tyler said. Rex sighed and said "Well I was going to see you anyway. The good

news is Emerald had got her memory back. She is at the store with her human''. He said "Thanks''

and with that he ran towards the store."WAIT!!" shouted Rex and he ran after him.

"I wonder if I see Tyler again." thought Emerald as she wanted for her human to be done with work

at the shop. She had never knew that he loved her."Why would Ruby do that". she thought.It didn't

mattter now. She wonder if she felt the same way for him. Now she remembers when he crash into

her at the party his face was blury but the fur was clear. If he was a little closer they would have...

"Emerald sweetheart!" said Jack coming from behind. "I know who you are and I'm not your

girlfriend jerk!" She shouted and started to growl. Jack frowned and said "so you really do have your

memory back huh?" she nodded but it was bits of her memory but she knew she hated Jack. "This is

your LAST chance Emerald." he shouted.

"No!! I love TYLER only!!! she shouted back. Jack was about to explode! "That's it!! I'm through

playing games. Your coming with me like it or not NOW !!" He grabbed her bandanna and started to

pull her hard. "STOP IT JACK!! HELLPP!!!" she screamed.

Then a gray flash bumped Jack to a wall. Emerald shook her head and looked up to see Tyler.

"Tyler!!"she ran to him and nuzzled him. " Are you all right" ? ''Yes" she said with glossy eyes. "GET

AWAY FROM HER!!" Jack cried as he charged for him. They started biting and clawing each other.

Emerald said " I have to get help". Then Rex came in and ram Jack off of Tyler.

Three dogs were with him." We heard someone scream." Cod said. Jack got back up and pinned

Rex to finish him off."JACK!!" shouted Cod. Jack looked up and said " That wolf was tying to kill

me!!" " That's not what we saw." said one dog. Emerald ran to Tyler. Ruby came from the dogs and

ran to Jack and said ''You didn't kill him?!" "I tried to!!"said Jack.

Rex said "see they planned this the whole time. Emerald's memory loss was an accident." I'm sorry

Tyler for doubting you." Cod said. "DDDon't wworry aboutt it."said Tyler. "We've got to fix you up!"

said Emerald. "I'll take care of these two." said Cod.

But then Maxwell came outside and saw Tyler. He got out a gun but Emerald stepped in front of

Tyler. "Emerald what are you doing? Move!!" He said But she stood still. He put the gun down a

little. "So you like this fella huh?" she turned around and licked him on the cheek. " I guess we need

to get him wrapped up." He bent down and picked up Tyler and took him to the vet.

The next two days tyler was back on his feetwith Emerald beside him. Today was Cod's birthday

so it was the same party at the warehouse.

The party was fun but Emerald and Tyler desided to stay at the back hill behind the warehouse to

see the moon and stars. A shooting star passed by the sky. "Hey Tyler make a wish." said Emerald

as she bowed her head. Tyler true wish was to have Emerald as his mate.

''Tyler was very cute. His crystal blue eyes and his spiked fur..wait. I am in love with him." Emerald

will...*gulp* you be my mate?! Her eyes sparked and said " Of course". Slowly her mouth moved to

his. As they layed down she whispered to his ear ''I LOVE you." "Me too" he said.

But two shadows watched them together in the darkness. The End ? Not yet.

Tyler heart was full of joy! Spring was here and Emerald has finally realize his love for her and

returns her love for him!!! It was dawn when Tyler was walking thinking about her.He wanted to get

her something special and to reflect his love for her.

While he was walking out of town and daydreaming about Emerald he didn't see the rock in front of

him and tripped. He crashed into Rex and a female dog with him. ''Ow!!!" shouted Tyler. "Jeez!! I

know you're excited but don't kill me over it." Rex joked. "wwwhooo's that RRex??" the female

tirmbled behind him "Don't worry he' s a friend sweety." Rex said calmy.

"Tyler this is-" Tyler interuped "Your girlfriend?" "Yes, just like yours." Rex snapped back. Tyler

droped his ears. "Now as I was saying this is Luna". She came from behind him. " Umm.. nice to

meet you." She said sheepishly. Tyler looked at her funny. "Don't take it personaly she's very shy."

he said to him.

"She's new and-" Tyler interupted again. "Sorry man but I need to get Emerald's girt before she

wakes up". "What kind of gift buddy?" he asked before Tyler was about to run. "A flower". "Just

one?" Rex asked. "If she likes the first one I'll bring her more. Promise you won't say anything"."

"Not a bad idea. I won't tell ,Good luck!" he shouted after Tyler ran as the speed of light.

Emerald woke up and looked at the clock. It was 10:00am. She looked at her side but Tyler was

gone! "What's he doing this time in the morning?" she said as she streched in her bed. Ruby was

banished from Nome with Jack for framing Tyler. Maxwell was gone too but she knew he was

working. Since she was up she decided to take a walk in ton. As soon as opened the door she saw

a surprise.

"Ruby!" she shouted. Ruby looked dirty but mostly angery."WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!" She

shouted. "I think the question is why are you here with HIM!!!" Ruby shouted back. "Because I LOVE

HIM!!! Why can't you understand that??!! Ruby scoffs "How can you love a mindless beast?!!

Emerald started to growl. "How DARE you!!!" she said showing her teeth. "I won't fight you now. I

find a way to finish the job with your boyfriend." She ran with a wicked smile. "Tyler!" she said as

she ran to find him.

Tyler was in the forest looking for a special garden he found last week. The flowers were white in

the middle but a dark blue at the tips of the petals. "I know its around here somewhere." Tyler said

as looked around the river and the wide field but no luck.

An hour has passed and Tyler was desperate! "She's probably awake by now. It be much a

surprise." Tyler thought. He sighed a crashed on the ground. Then he caught the scent of the

flowers and ran towards it . There it was under a waterfall! "That's why it was so hard to find." said

Tyler. He went throught the water fall and foun a area with a tiny beam of light with thousands of

blue tipped flowers. Tyler grabbed one and ran back to Nome.

" I finally found you wolf." said a dark figure behind the trees. The figure followed the lovestruck

wolf.

Emerald ran to Rex's house as fast as she could. She clawed at the doggy door hard. But when

the door opened their was a female dog at the door. "Who are you?" Emerald asked "Ummm.... I'm

LLuna. Rex's ggirlfriend." she said sheepishly. "Where's Rex?? I need to talk to him!! I'm an old

friend of his."she demanded "Oh... wwell hhe's at the sled dog rrace . HHurry iif you wwant to catch

him." and with that she ran like lighting to the race.

Tyler was gettin a little tired so he stop to rest."she's probably awake and runing by now." he

thought. He was about to to start runing again untill he heard a snap behind him!

"Who's there?!" Tyler screamed. "I'm insulted. You forgot me already?'' He knew that voice too well

"JACK!!!" That's right wolf! I'm gonna take back what's mine!!" Jack said after he came the bushes.

"Emerald's NOT your TOY!!! She doesn't want to be with YOU!!!" Like I care! she's WILL be MY

mate whether she likes it or not!!!

Tyler was furious! How dare he treat her like that!! Tyler growled and showed his teeth! "Oh come

on ! You want to fight me?!" Tyler knew Jack was bigger than him but he didn't care. "I am a wolf!!"

he said as he lepted at him "Yeah, a dead wolf!" he said as he stepped back and avoided Tyler's

attack and returned with a hard bite on Tyler's back. Tyler whimpered loud.

"I got a bad feeling about Tyler." said Rex as he was strapped for his race. The musher went inside

to tell the mayer what and where he was going.

Then Rex's saw Emerald runing towards him at such a high speed he saw dust from where she

was runing. "Rex...*gasp*...Where...is...*gasp*... he?" she said. Rex said "Uh.. Em? I promise not to

tell where he-" Emerald cut him off. "TELL ME NOW"!!!!! she demanded.

Rex stepped back a little and so did his team. She never acted like that or yelled. "Must be serious"

he thought. He sighed and said "He's deep in the forest outside of town." "What is he doing

THERE?!?" She ran out of sight again. "I hope both will be okay." but he knew something was

wrong.

Tyler was on the ground with Jack beside with blood dripping from his mouth. Tyler's back leg and

back was ripped and torn up. "Now that your out of the way, wolf Emerald will finally be MINE!!" Jack

yelled with pride in his voice. Tyler was hurt real bad but he got up growled and said "You will NOT

touch her!!!"

Jack laughed and said "Wanna bet?" as he lifted his paw for the last srike to the neck then he

heard someone behind him. "Who's there" he yelled but it was Rudy out of the bushes. "Hurry up

and kill him! Emerald will be here any second now!" "I know. Don't rush me!!" he snapped back.

He put his paw on Tyler's neck. "Good bye Wolf!!" he said as he closed in but A dog bumped into

him and Jack flew into a tree. Don't you EVER touch him AGAIN!!! "Emerald!'' Ruby shouted.

Emerald ran to Tyler. "Please Tyler don't be-" Tyler got up slowly but he was still weak. "Emerald run

and get help." he said as Jack got back up "No. I will never leave you!" Even if she did what he said

the town was too far away.

"Emerald!! Get out of the way." said Ruby. This is for your own good" "FOR MY OWN GOOD?"

"KILLING THE ONE I LOVE IS FOR MY OWN GOOD?!?!? "You don't get it Emerald. Even Maxwell

will cast you out if you have his pups." Ruby said coldly. "I DON'T CARE IF HE'S A WOLF!! I LOVE

HIM! WHERE HE GOES I WILL BE RIGHT BY HIS SIDE." "YOU'RE A FOOL TO LOVE A

BEAST!!YOUR NO LONGER A SISTER OF MINE!!"

She lepted at her but Emerald knew how to fight back. Emerald cut Ruby's rute and clawed at her

chest. Ruby flew and crashed on the ground. Jack was walking towards Tyler but Emerald Jumped

in front of him. "I can't take both of them but I have to try." she thought as they both closed in on her

and Tyler.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!!" said Rex with his whole team and other dogs surrounding the area.

"REX!!" Emerald shouted with joy. "Luna, cheak on Tyler!" Luna came from behind. ''RRight!" she

said and came to Tyler side. The two tryed to run but Cod stopped them. "Don't worry Emerald will

find a punishment for these twobut let's take Tyler to the vet." said Cod. Everybody went home.

When Emerald walked with Tyler said "Thanks!! I love you." "Love you too". said Emerald said with

tears in her eyes.

Months passed and Tyler was feeling right as rain! He was enjoying a nice morning jog. "I feel

great!"he said. Then He desided to see what his love was doing.

He went through the doggy door but saw Emerald pacing back and forth. "How am I going to tell

him?" she said. "Tell me what Emerald?!" she gasped and said "Sweetheat II didn't see you." He

just stared at her. "Oh.. Tyler darling? sit down please". "Your breaking up with me?!?! " No, of

course not!! but I do have news." Tyler got closer. "You're going to be a father!!"

"YYYAAAAHHHOOO!!!" he jumped in the air as if he was flying.

"WHEN?! WHEN?!"Tyler said she smiled and said "a few more months". "This is great I've always

wanted to have a family with you." "Me too." she said with a smiled and nuzzled him.

Then he ran. He went screamin to the town and screamed "I'M GOING TO BE A DADD!!!" she

was at the door, smiled, and said "He's a silly thing."

He told Rex and he couldn't be happier for them. Luna wanted to help since her owner was a vet

before she moved to Nome.

The months went by fast. Emerald's belly was getting bigger each month passed. Tyler and Luna

we're never far from her side to help.

Then the most unexpected thing happned. Emerald was getting into labor too soon. Luna was too

far away. Maxwell was at work and Rex was away with the team.

Tyler was with her at her bed hearing her screams. "You can do it! Don't give up." After an three

hours later 7 pups were born! Tyler licked Emerald and said "they're beutiful."

"What shall we name them ?" asked Emerald. "I like to name the black one Shadow and the tanish

one Rapheal." " Okay I'll name the blue one Sapphire and the brown one Kimi." Great! the grey one

will be named Mason and the white one Crystal ." And the last one?" a little puple puppy

moved"Naomi" they both said. Their own family is born!

Emerald first woke up since the sun was in her eyes. Tyler was still asleep beside her. It feel like

was just yesterday that they both were raising kids together.

The years went by too fast for her. Rapheal and Sapphire was always papered pooches so they

were adopted by a show owners for dogs. Kimi with Mason were active all the time so they are with

the new sled teams.

Shadow and Crystal joined a wolf pack since their wolf side was mostly showed. Finally Naomi

lives with a family of three girls next to her parents so she visits often.

Emerald sighed. Tyler Yawned and woke up with a smile." Good morning my pretty flower."said

Tyler."You too my hadsome husband."said Emerald. They kissed each other then streached. They

walked to the kitchen for Maxwell to feed them but for some reason he was trembling.

Emerald whined a little then Maxwell shook his head and said "I'm sorry you two. I'm just heard

that wolves have been hagging around killing things so we all need to be catious!" he said after givig

them their food. After Maxwell left the two looked at each other and dashed throught the doggy door.

They ran to the outskrits of town and howled. In one minite a whole pack of wolves surrounded

them. Dragon, the leader, came in front of everybody and said " I know what your thinking but it

wasn't us who did that killing spree!"

"We believe you Dragon." Tyler said. Dragon was a little relieved but asked them "Why did you call

then?". "I think I know who framed you guys."said Tyler. Everyone was quet. Then Shadow broke

the silence ''Who is it dad?" Emerald spoke for him."Rudy and Jack!!"

Crystal asked "You mean the people who tried to kill you before dad?" Tyler nodded. Emerald

looked worried. "Tyler" Emerald whispered but Tyler tuned and said "Don't worry Em. I'll be

fine.Wealleill"

Dragon nodded and said "We''ll be there if you need protection Pal." Then they all left but Shadow

and Crystal. Shadow said "Dad..will you be-." "I'll be fine just watch each others' back they'll use

any method to get to kill me." The two nodded then went with the pack.

The sun went down so Emerald and Tyler went back home to see the rest of the children. The two

went through the forest then ran into town. When the two was near the house a whole crowd of

people was around. Rex ,with a few other dogs, was there too.

Rex eyes widen as he saw them. "Hey Rex! what happened here?" Rex paused before he spoke.

"I'm sorry but Maxwell was-" before he even finished Emerald dashed infront of everyone. "Emerald

wait! Don't!!"shouted Rex but it was too late. She saw her old freind since she was a pup. Dead!

"No."said emerald with tears in her eyes. She walked towards him and saw claws and teeth marks

on his neck. "NNNOOO!!!" she howled. Tyler ran by her side to comfornt her as much as he could.

Tyler turned around to Rex and asked. "How long has he been?" " Two hours after sunset." Rex

responded.

"If only I had stayed to protect him." Emerald sobbed. Tyler said "Don't blame yourself! you've

couldn't have known they would go that low."

"MOM! DAD!" All five of the pups surrounded their parents."We all heard what happened" said

Mason. "How's Mom?" asked Kimi. Tyler looked at Emerald who walked back to Maxwell then shook

his head."Not very well I'm afraid." he said. "What kind of question is that Kimi? He practicly raised

mom."said Rapheal.

"Yeaah Kimi!! Use that head for once" said Sapphire. Kimi started to gowl. "ENOUGH ALL OF

YOU!! YOU CAN"T SEE YOU MOTHER IS IN PAIN?!" He shouted at all of them. All of their ears

went down and they all said "Sorry Dad!" "Don't say that to me say that to your mothe-". Emerald

was gone when they turned around!

"Where did she go?" asked Naomi. "You wouldn't think she-" "Emerald No!!"Tyler shouted as he

ran with his children out of the town.

She ran to the Ice death ground where no animals can live and were Jack and Ruby was banished

to."RUBY!!JACK!!! GET OUT HERE NOW!!" Emerald shouted. "You WOULD GO THAT LOW!!"

Ruby came from the shadows. " This is the truth. I didn't mean for Maxwell to die. That was Jack's

idea!" said Ruby

"Why should I beleave you? You almost killed Tyler!!"Emerald shouted at her. "Em This is your last

warning leave Tyler and his offspring now!!" "NEVER!!!" Ruby frowned and said "Fine I'll have no

control to what Jack intends to do." she ran back to the woods.

"Emerald!!" she heard someone shout behind. "Tyler.." she said sadly but she was shocked to see

her children with him.

"We were all worried about you mom." said Naomi. All the kids nodded. Then Tyler said " What

were you doing out here alone? They could of-" Emerald cut him off. "Tyler its not me you should

worry about. Besides I can defend myself."

Tyler looked at her funny and said "What do you mean?" Emerald sighed and said "I want all of

you to watch your backs and protect each other untill this is over."

"Whoa ,man this is serious!"said Rapheal. "Let them come I'll rip them to shreds if they hurt

anybody." said Mason. "I want some action too." said Kimi.

"THIS IS NOT A GAME!" shouted Tyler."Its like your mother said keep your eyes opened". All of

them nodded and went back home.

Tyler and Emerald walked last. Emerald said "Tyler if they even think about touching our children-"
